Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren launched into Wednesday night’s Democratic debate by referencing fellow Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg’s comments about women.

Warren referred specifically to Bloomberg, a former New York City mayor, calling women “fat broads” and “horse-faced lesbians.”

“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against,” she said. “A billionaire who calls women fat broads and horse-faced lesbians, and no I’m not talking about [President] Donald Trump, I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg.”

“Democrats are not going to win if we have a nominee who has a history of hiding his tax returns, of harassing women, and of supporting racist policies like red lining and stop and frisk,” Warren added.

Charges - Muslim doctor sterilized non-Muslim women

(WND)  -  A Muslim doctor is facing charges that he sterilized non-Muslim women who underwent a variety of primary surgeries without asking their permission or even notifying them.

The news and opinion website Caldronpool reported more than 50 women have made complaints against Dr. Siyabdeen Mohammed Safi.

The 42-year-old worked at Kurunegala Hospital in Sri Lanka.

“Some of the women have accused the doctor of sterilizing them during a standard Caesarean procedure,” the site reported.

Also, there were reports that thousands of women also may have “unknowingly undergone the procedure known as tubal ligation,” which involves sealing the fallopian tubes to prevent fertilized eggs from reaching the uterus for implantation.

The surgeon was arrested by Kurunegala police for amassing unusually large sums of money and assets. There were suspicions the wealth was coming from a terrorist group.

“Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health has launched a special committee to investigate the allegations, comprised of gynecologists and representatives of the Sri Lanka Medical Council,” the report said.

Christine Douglass-Williams explained at Jihad Watch that jihad “comes in many forms, among them: violent jihad toward conquest, stealth jihad toward conquest, jihad by immigration toward conquest (hijrah), population jihad toward conquest, jihad within ones’ soul.”

“Whatever it takes to conquer and to subjugate, it is a religiously sanctioned duty of believers to subvert the House of War,” Douglass-Williams wrote.

She pointed out that there immediately was a backlash because the suspect is Muslim.

One government official, she reported, charged, “You all would not have these concerns if this doctor was Sinhalese! Since the doctor is a Muslim you have a issue.”

Douglass-Williams wrote that sterilizing women without knowledge or consent “is criminal on its own; but then there is another inconvenient truth: no other doctrine tries to out-populate territories inch by inch toward global dominance but Islam.”

The Colombo Telegraph in the Sri Lankan capital reported Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne expressed confidence that the truth would come out through an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department and his agency.

Actress Debra Messing apologized for excluding trans women “who don’t have a vagina” on International Women’s Day on Friday, after she posted a photo celebrating the occasion with a collection of vagina-shaped cupcakes.

“Happy International Women’s Day! Powerful, beautiful, and sweet,” the Will and Grace star wrote, accompanied by a photo of vagina-themed cupcakes, decorated with different colors, piercings, and even pubic hair.

However, Debra Messing later realized that in posting an image of solely vaginas she had excluded trans women “who don’t have a vagina.”

She later wrote:

ADDED: I want to apologize to my trans sisters. This photo was supposed to be light, & sassy. The first thing I thought when I saw this photo was “wow how wonderful. Each one is unique in color and shape and size. The porn industry has perpetuated this myth of what a “beautiful” vagina looks like and as a result there are women who feel shame or insecure about the shape of the vulva.

I loved that this picture said “every single one is beautiful and unique and that’s powerful.” I did not, however, think “but there are innumerable beautiful, unique and powerful women who don’t have a vagina. And I SHOULD have. And for that I am so so sorry. Thank you for righting my wrong.

Although many trans women undergo surgery to remove their penis and replace it with an artificially constructed vagina, a large number also keep their genital organs intact.

Messing, meanwhile, is well known for her outspoken views on LGBT rights and representation. In May 2017, she even accepted an award from the ‘Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation’ (GLAAD), where she pleaded with President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka to stop her father’s policies on transgender issues.

DNA says skeleton of a Viking warrior is a woman

(Fox)  -  An incredible grave containing the skeleton of a Viking warrior, long thought to be male, has been confirmed as female, researchers say.

The 10th-century grave, known as Bj. 581, was first discovered on the Swedish island of Bjorko in the late 19th century. Stunning artifacts found in the grave indicated that it belonged to a high-status Viking warrior, who, for over a century, was assumed to be male.

In 2017, however, experts published the results of a DNA analysis that revealed the skeleton was female. The amazing discovery garnered a great deal of attention and sparked plenty of debate.

In a study published this week in the journal Antiquity, the researchers responded to critics of the original study, explaining that they analyzed the correct skeleton and that there was only one set of human remains in the grave. “The simple and secure conclusion is that we have the right individual, who was buried alone, and that this person has been proven to be biologically female,” they explained.

The experts also reiterated the woman’s warrior status. “In our opinion, Bj.581 was the grave of a woman who lived as a professional warrior and was buried in a martial environment as an individual of rank,” they wrote. “To those who do take issue, however, we suggest that it is not supportable to react only now, when the individual has been shown to be female, without explaining why neither the warrior interpretations nor any supposed source-critical factors were a problem when the person in Bj.581 was believed to be male.”

The warrior woman was buried in elaborate clothing and her grave contained a stunning array of weapons, including a sword, an ax, 25 armor-piercing arrows, a fighting knife, two lances and two spears. She was also buried with two horses, underlining her high status in Viking society.

Intriguingly, a bag of gaming pieces was also placed in the warrior’s lap and a gaming board was propped up beside her skeleton.

Set against this backdrop, the team behind the study noted other Viking women likely bore arms.

“We would be very surprised if she was alone in the Viking world; other women may have taken up arms in the same seasonal or opportunistic context as many male Viking raiders,” they wrote. “A few may have risen to positions of command—indeed, the quality of the individual’s clothing, and the presence of the gaming set, implies that she may have been one of them.”

Gaming sets are typically associated with Viking military leaders, according to the researchers, who noted they are often found in larger boat graves.

Despite the incredible glimpse into Viking society that the grave offers, many aspects of the woman’s life will remain unknown. “Can we be sure that the person in Bj.581 was a woman, in a gendered sense? No, we cannot. She may have taken on a man’s social role, while retaining a feminine identity,” explained the study’s authors.

The grave is one of many fascinating archaeological finds from the time of the Vikings. Last year, for example, a Viking “Thor’s hammer” was discovered in Iceland and archaeologists in Norway used ground-penetrating radar technology to reveal an extremely rare Viking longship.

Also in 2018, an 8-year-old girl discovered a 1,500-year-old sword in a Swedish lake and an incredible trove of silver treasure linked to the era of a famous Viking king was discovered on an island in the Baltic Sea. Hundreds of 1,000-year-old silver coins, rings, pearls, and bracelets were found on the German island of Ruegen.

Virginia’s Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax said “fuck that bitch” in reference to his accuser during a private meeting where he attempted to discredit her, according to NBC News.

Earlier this week, and thanks only to alternative media, we learned that Dr. Vanessa Tyson, a professor of politics at Scripps College in Claremont, California, told the Washington Post in late 2017 that Fairfax, a Democrat, forced her to perform oral sex on him in a hotel room during the 2004 Democrat National Convention. He denies any wrongdoing and says the sexual encounter was consensual.

The Washington Post chose not to report the story, even though Tyson’s account contained more details — like a time and place for the alleged encounter — than the story of Christine Blasey Ford, which the Post published without corroboration. But after Big League Politics broke it on Monday, both Fairfax and the Post were forced to address it.

What makes Fairfax’s fate so newsworthy is that he is next in line to replace Gov. Ralph Northam, who is currently embroiled in a blackface scandal (which Big League Politics broke last week). Northam, who is also a Democrat, is under withering pressure from within his own party to resign.

As far as the “fuck that bitch” comment, Fairfax released a statement admitting only to being “emotional” at that Monday meeting. He also asked that his accuser be treated with respect.

Twitter Permanently Bans Feminist For Writing That ‘Men Aren’t Women’

Despite its CEO telling Congress the contrary a few months ago, Twitter has amped up its pattern of politically one-sided application of its terms of service.

Last week, the social media giant permanently banned Meghan Murphy, a writer based in British Columbia, for critiquing transgender ideology online. The platform repeatedly suspended her account for this then ultimately banned her last week, saying such behavior “violated [its] rules against hateful conduct.” Here’s a sampling of tweets Twitter required Murphy to delete as “objectionable” before allowing her access back to her account:

What is insane to me, though, is that while Twitter knowingly permits graphic pornography and death threats on the platform (I have reported countless violent threats, the vast majority of which have gone unaddressed), they won’t allow me to state very basic facts, such as ‘men aren’t women.’ This is hardly an abhorrent thing to say, nor should it be considered ‘hateful’ to ask questions about the notion that people can change sex, or ask for explanations about transgender ideology. These are now, like it or not, public debates — debates that are impacting people’s lives, as legislation and policy are being imposed based on gender identity ideology…

On Twitter, Murphy regularly engaged in debates about sex, gender, and women’s studies. In fact, she holds a master’s degree in the field from Simon Fraser University. In other words: She isn’t stupid or a troll. She’s an educated, opinionated woman, seeking to use her Twitter platform to develop her understanding of the topics and to engage others in debate.

“In August, I was locked out of my Twitter account for the first time,” Murphy writes, explaining the timeline. “I was told that I had ‘violated [Twitter’s] rules against hateful conduct’ and that I had to delete four tweets in order to gain access to my account again. In this case, the tweets in question named Lisa Kreut, a trans-identified male.”

Her tweets called out Kreut for trying to boycott and defund Vancouver Rape Relief. Twitter didn’t care what the feud was about or that it was legitimate and fact-based. They only cared about the fact that Kreut was transgender and decided to define disputes about transgenderism as “hate speech.”

Twitter also recently banned “deadnaming”—the practice of referring to a trans person by his or her legal name, or birth name. This also likely played a role in Murphy’s suspensions and ultimate ban.

Murphy continues in the article:

I deleted the tweets in question, then publicly complained on Twitter, saying, ‘Hi @Twitter, I’m a journalist. Am I no longer permitted to report facts on your platform?’ I was promptly locked out of my account again, told I had to delete the tweet in question, and suspended for 12 hours. I appealed the suspension, as it seemed clear to me that my tweets were not ‘hateful,’ but simply stated the truth, but received no response from Twitter.

Murphy said her account was locked again on November 15. She was told she must delete tweets that read: “Women aren’t men,” and “How are transwomen not men? What is the difference between a man and a transwoman?” Murphy deleted the tweets to regain access to her account. However, at this point, she was angry and tweeted:

“This is f—— bull—, @twitter. I’m not allowed to say that men aren’t women or ask questions about the notion of transgenderism at all anymore? That a multi-billion dollar company is censoring basic facts and silencing people who ask questions about this dogma is insane.”

This tweet went viral, garnering at least 20,000 likes. Then Twitter locked her account again and demanded she conform—I mean, delete it. Following these suspensions, Murphy was then permanently banned. Her fans were disappointed, to say the least.

It appears Murphy was banned solely due to repeatedly pointing out that men cannot be transformed into women simply because they want to call themselves women.

Murphy writes, the platform has so persistently done the opposite in its treatment of her and other trans-critical feminists that she has started to think about the political right’s positions and be willing to dialogue with them:

I no longer believe leftist positions are necessarily most right or most ethical. I no longer believe everyone on the right is wrong about everything. I do not believe all those on the right necessarily have ill intentions, and suspect that many, like those on the left, believe they are working towards a better world.

(Washington Free Beacon)  -  A federal government program to promote gender equality in Afghanistan and help women find employment is costing taxpayers over $200 million but has only found jobs for 55 women.

The United States Agency for International Development program promised to "empower 75,000 women" but so far has shown little progress, according to a new report released by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR).

"It is unclear whether the agency can deliver the opportunities it promised the women of Afghanistan," the inspector general said.

The USAID program, Promoting Gender Equity in National Priority Programs, or Promote, is a five-year $216 million effort. USAID has spent $89.7 million in three years but "has not demonstrated whether the program has made progress" toward its goals.

Promote is USAID's "largest single investment to advance women globally" and was tasked with helping over 2,000 Afghan women find jobs. The program has reached 2.6 percent of its goal.

"An end-of-program performance indicator target for one component is for 2,100 women to find new or better employment with the Afghan government," the inspector general said. "As of September 2017, USAID said 55 women did."

California’s Democrat-dominated legislature is moving to require “gender diversity” on the boards of publicly-held companies, which would have to appoint individuals self-identifying as female.

In May, the California State Senate passed SB 826 on a party-line vote. The bill mandates that by the last day of 2019, California’s 445 publicly-held companies must pay a fine unless they have at least one female — defined as “an individual who self-identifies her gender as a woman, without regard to the individual’s designated sex at birth.”

By the last day of 2021 —  if the bill becomes law — California corporate boards with five or fewer directors must have a quota of at least two self-identifying females. Corporations with six or more board members must have at three least self-identifying females to avoid a fine.

The California Secretary of State would be empowered to set regulations and issue fines equal to the average compensation of a corporation’s directors for the first violation, and triple the average compensation for any subsequent violations.

Advancing gender equality quotas for individuals identifying as female has been a hot topic for progressives, who claim that publicly-held corporations have a societal duty to lead the way — and that the law may be a necessary tool to force compliance.

The California Assembly must pass SB 826 by the end of August, and Gov. Brown must sign the legislation, for it become state law.

Among 48-year-old physics teacher, Leslie McGourty’s messages was her threat to “poke a lot of holes in people” before killing herself, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

McGourty planned to target a May 19th concert taking place at a Vegas bar and texted her friend that she was obsessed with “being remembered” for the planned heinous attack.

McGourty hoped that her planned shooting would help spark another “#MeToo” movement, “but this time in which women feel empowered enough to become serial killers.”

In the series of text messages, McGourty went on, “A perfect plan with my favorite song surrounded by a bunch of f****** up misfits like I am. Imagine knowing exactly the moment that you’re going to die. I know exactly that your favorite song will be playing. By your favorite band. It’s just too perfect.”

Saudi women forced to pay $1,330 for a driver's license

(RT)  -  Saudi women are up in arms over the cost of driving lessons - a financial hurdle that many believe could stop females from taking to the roads for the first time ever when historic legislation passes.

Women were banned from the roads in Saudi Arabia up until September last year, when a royal decree declared that females would legally be allowed to own a driving licence.

In the past, women have reportedly been jailed for breaking the cultural code. In July last year, human rights activist Loujain al-Hathloul was arrested outside King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Al-Hathloul had previously attempted to drive from the United Arab Emirates into Saudi Arabia.

According to local news, a date has now been set for the historic moment in women’s history - June 24 - with General Mohammed al-Bassami, the director of the Department of Traffic, quoted as saying that “all the requirements for women to start driving have been established.”

However, while they may soon be equal in terms of driving law, many have reportedly pointed out the disparity in driving lesson costs between women and men.

Gulf News, an English language newspaper based in Dubai, reports that driving license fees for women could rise to 5,000 Saudi Riyal, the equivalent of around $1,330.

In contrast, men can expect to pay just 450 Saudi Riyal for driving lessons with a teacher, the report adds. Saudi women have since taken to social media to express their fury at the premium they must pay to drive.

“I’m angry at the prices of driving license,” said Twitter user Basmah, who is based in Riyadh.

(USA Today)  -  The Boy Scouts of America doubled down Wednesday on its quest to become the scouting organization of choice for boys and girls, announcing it will drop "Boy" from the name of its signature program.

But the decision didn't impress the Girl Scout organization, which noted no new, "girl specific" programming.

“Girl Scouts is the premier leadership development organization for girls,” Sylvia Acevedo, CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA, said in a statement. “We are, and will remain, the first choice for girls and parents."

Both groups, which have been at odds since the Boy Scouts decided to open its doors to girls, have been struggling with declining membership. 

The umbrella organization will retain its name, Boy Scouts of America or BSA. The term Cub Scouts, for kids 7-10 years old, is gender neutral and also will go unchanged. Boy Scouts, which includes kids from 10 to 17, will become Scouts BSA in February.

Chief Scout Executive Mike Surbaugh unveiled the group's "Scout Me In" marketing campaign aimed at promoting inclusiveness.  “As we enter a new era for our organization, it is important that all youth can see themselves in Scouting in every way possible," Surbaugh said.

Democrat #MeToo movement leader Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens) reportedly slept with fellow lawmakers in order to get information out of them, allegedly spoke graphically about her encounters, and allegedly urged fellow lawmakers to play “spin the bottle” after a political fundraiser.

Garcia reportedly told ex-staffers that having sex with other elected officials “was a good way of getting information,” attorney Daniel Gilleon, who is representing them, wrote in a letter to the Assembly Rules Committee, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Her former staffers reportedly declined to name the lawmakers Garcia slept with, but they said Garcia had pressured them into drinking in the office and at outside events, and that she belittled them and disparaged other lawmakers.

New information from three former staffers, who chose to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals, revealed the damning details of the lawmaker’s conduct.

“It was a power imbalance,”’ one staffer said in an interview with Politico. “You’’re telling me, ‘We’re going to go to a happy hour,’ and I don’t want to do that. It was something that was central — ‘We’re going to go out’ … and I was, ‘I don’t want to hang out with you, I want to go home.'”
