China Rocked by Worker Riots, Factory Closures and Mass Layoffs

Both China and Trump are playing a dangerous game, but we must take on China while we still have some strength left.

Factories across China are shuttering under the weight of President Donald Trump’s renewed tariff regime, sparking a surge of worker protests and social unrest from Sichuan to Inner Mongolia.

In scenes reminiscent of the 2022 lockdown revolts, workers are flooding streets, demanding backpay and confronting managers over unpaid wages as their employers collapse under economic strain.

At an LED plant near Shanghai, thousands shouted at supervisors after months without pay. In central China’s Dao County, employees of a sporting goods company gathered outside the shuttered business after it closed without compensation.

In Tongliao, desperate construction workers climbed rooftops, threatening to jump unless they were paid.

The worker uprisings are fueled by a steep drop in export orders, which recently hit their lowest point since the COVID lockdowns, according to WSJ economic indicators. Analysts at Goldman Sachs estimate that as many as 16 million Chinese jobs could be lost due to the sharp decline in U.S. trade.

Trump has said the impact is intentional. “They were making from us a trillion dollars a year. They were ripping us off like nobody’s ever ripped us off,” he stated. “They’re not doing that anymore.”

Factory owners say they’re hemorrhaging clients. In southern China, exporter Huang Deming has sidelined 30% of his workers after major U.S. buyers pulled out. Textile manager Qian Xichao told the Wall Street Journal that the domestic market has collapsed into self-destructive price wars: “To be frank, personally speaking, all we can do is go out and look for new opportunities.”

President can ban internet platforms - Supreme Court

Now The China Excuse
  • Using China as the excuse, both parties joined together to give the President the power to ban internet platforms without a trial.

The Supreme Court on Friday unanimously upheld a sweeping law that not only bans TikTok but gives the President the power to ban any popular social media app deemed to be controlled by a "foreign adversary."

From CBS News, "Supreme Court upholds TikTok ban, clears way for app to shut down in U.S. as soon as Sunday":

The Supreme Court on Friday upheld a new law that would lead to a ban of the social media platform TikTok, clearing the way for the widely popular app to shutter in the U.S. as soon as Sunday.

"We conclude that the challenged provisions do not violate the petitioners' First Amendment rights," the court said in a unanimous unsigned opinion, which upholds the lower court decision against TikTok. Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Neil Gorsuch wrote separately, with Gorsuch agreeing with the outcome of the case but splitting with the court's reasoning.

The court's ruling comes days before the law, which was passed with bipartisan majorities of Congress last April, is set to take effect. TikTok and a group of content creators who use the app argued the law infringes on their free speech rights, and the Supreme Court heard arguments in their bid to block it one week ago.

"There is no doubt that, for more than 170 million Americans, TikTok offers a distinctive and expansive outlet for expression, means of engagement, and source of community. But Congress has determined that divestiture is necessary to address its well-supported national security concerns regarding TikTok's data collection practices and relationship with a foreign adversary," the court's opinion said.

U.S. Blows Up U.S. Ship To Scare China

You Sunk My Battleship
  • Pardon me U.S. Navy, but I suspect that China is not impressed. Per the South China Morning Post, the Chinese hypersonic anti-ship missiles boast a terminal velocity of Mach 10, which is ten times the speed of sound.

This summer, the U.S. Navy conducted SINKEX drills, where three decommissioned warships were sunk during live-fire exercises, including the USS Dubuque and USS Tarawa.

-These exercises date back to the 19th century and have been used to test new weaponry and tactics.

-Notably, historic tests like the 1923 bombing of battleships by Brig. Gen. Billy Mitchell and the 1946 nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll demonstrated the effectiveness of airpower and nuclear weapons against naval vessels, shaping modern naval strategy.

This summer, the United States Navy saw three of its warships sunk – but not by Houthi missiles or drones, and certainly not by any "advanced" Russian fighter. It wasn't Chinese "carrier missiles" used to send the vessels to the sent to the bottom. Rather, the vessels were retired warships that were employed in carefully planned SINKEX drills.

Two of the vessels – the decommissioned Austin-class amphibious transport dock ex-USS Dubuque (LPD-8) and the amphibious assault ship ex-USS Tarawa (LHD-1) – were sunk during the recently concluded Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC). Both of the retired U.S. Navy warships were sunk in waters 15,000 feet deep, more than 50 nautical miles off the northern coast of the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

U.S. aircraft carriers and the ILLUSION of global dominance

Kamikaze + Aircraft Carrier = Sunk

America is being "protected" by World War II technology: a navy of surface ships and expensive tanks that make easy targets for modern missile systems.

But even in World War II our navy ships were being sunk by the dozen. The U.S. Navy is good to bully small helpless nations. Against a modern navy our ships are scrap metal.

Sunk by Japanese kamikaze aircraft on 25 October 1944 in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.  A total of 57 ships were sunk by Japanese kamikazes including 3 aircraft carriers and 14 destroyers.  Some 368 other ships were damaged.  About 4,900 sailors were killed and over 4,800 wounded.
.
Call me crazy, but if an aircraft carrier can be sunk by a "primitive" propeller driven fighter plane one has to ask how long these ultra-expensive ships will remain afloat in an age of modern missile technology or jet fighters piloted by Muslim suicide bombers.

Where America's International Students Come From

Education?
That's an optional extra
  • Colleges exist to suck down oceans of cash through student loans and stupidly expensive tuitions for degrees that mean less and less in the real world.

While enrollment at US higher education institutes saw a massive dip during the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of international students has bounced back in the 2022/2023 academic year, thanks to a huge influx from India.

And while still below pre-pandemic levels, 1.06 million international students came to the US in the past school year according to the Open Doors Report on International Education Exchange - a jump of 11.5% over 2021/2022 and 15% over 2020/2021.

As Katharina Buchholz of Statista further notes, International students make up 5.6 percent of the total U.S. student population, up from 4.6 percent one year prior. They contributed around $40 billion to the American economy in 2022/23.

China remained the largest source country for international students with a grand total of 289,526 enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, non-degree and optional practicing training programs.

WWIII UPDATE - Chinese Navy Patrols Near Iran

Chinese Navy

A Giant Fuck You to America
  • The U.S. Chickenhawk warmongers in both parties have no fucking clue what they are doing and push for a new World War in Iran and Ukraine.
  • Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE just joined the Russia-China BRICS alliance. So are the Chickenhawks planning on attacking the Chinese Navy to get to Iran? It's a new world out there with nations refusing to be bullied by the U.S.

Up to six Chinese warships have been operating in the Middle East over the past week, according to reports.

The 44th naval escort task force has been involved in routine operations in the area since May and last week spent several days on a visit to Oman, including a joint exercise with the country's navy, according to the Chinese defence ministry website.

The task force left the capital Muscat on Saturday, en route for an unspecified destination, state media reported.

During the visit, Chinese commanders met Omani military officials and visited military institutions, while sailors from both countries toured each other's shops. They also organised a basketball game, according to the state news agency Xinhua.

80% of solar panels made by slaves

Slavery in the name of
"Global Warming"

Behind those harmless-looking solar panels harnessing the sun’s power lies a disturbing secret: Roughly 80% of solar components are manufactured in China using slave labor.

Not only have the buyers of solar panels been indirectly funding companies that use slave labor, but American taxpayers also have subsidized almost $37 billion in purchases between 2016 and 2022.

Globally, even international organizations such as the United Nations and the European Union have begun to voice concerns about forced labor being used in China.

In its bid to dominate solar panel production, China has forced these “surplus workers” to toil in state-subsidized, coal-fired power plants and four of the five largest polysilicon factories. Using this exploitative labor system and coal power plants, China’s share of global polysilicon production surged from 26% in 2010 to 82% in 2020, while America’s share declined from 35% to 5% over the same period.

Today, China uses slave labor to manufacture 79% of polysilicon, 97% of wafers, 75% of modules, and 85% of solar cells.

I Want Slave Reparations Too
I have no doubt that some of my Germanic ancestors were enslaved by the Romans. The horror of those times held my family back for centuries from reaching their full potential.
.
So in the name of "social justice" I demand either monetary reparations from Italy or at least a house on Lake Como.

The Dollar is Sinking Fast

Russia and India Join Forces

The Implosion of the Dollar gets Closer
  • Nations around the world are rapidly joining together to tell the U.S. to Fuck Off. One day we will wake up to see the dollar in free fall.

(Natural News) We have received word that India, the second most populous country in the world, has signed a deal with Russia to adopt its SPFS system for making banking payments to the country.

The Narendra Modi government reportedly agreed to adopt the Russian financial messaging system, known as the Service Bureau of the Financing Messaging System of the Bank of Russia, in order to make payments to the country for trade purposes.

The landmark agreement was signed by Indian external affairs minister S. Jaishankar and visiting Russian deputy prime minister Denis Manturov on April 18 in New Delhi, according to a report from The New Indian Express.

“The deal also allows acceptance of Indian Ru-Pay cards and India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in Russia, and the Russian MIR cards and its Fast Payments System (FPS) in India,” reported Great Game India, via The Wire.

The Dollar Challenged By BRICS
k

A total of 24 nations are now looking to build a strategic alliance that will challenge the US dollar’s decades-long role as the world’s reserve currency.

The group of five economically-aligned countries collectively known as BRICS is reportedly on the cusp of a massive expansion.

The core collective consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – and a surge of nations interested in joining the alliance would bring the total number of nations to 24.

That’s according to South Africa’s BRICS ambassador, Anil Sooklal, who tells Bloomberg that a long list of nations are now looking to join in.

Sooklal says the list includes 13 countries that have formally asked to join and an additional six countries that have informally requested to be part of the alliance.

The group of known newcomers includes Saudi Arabia, Iran, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Egypt, Bahrain, Indonesia, two unnamed nations from East Africa and one from West Africa.

According to the Russian state-owned news agency Sputnik, BRICS is in the early stages of developing a new global currency that would circumvent the US dollar.

Russian State Duma Deputy Chairman Alexander Babakov says the new form of fiat will likely be backed by other assets including precious metals like gold.
