(LifeSiteNews) — California seized a Christian woman’s teenage daughter for opposing her “gender transition,” and now the state is moving to put the girl up for adoption.

Alexandra Lyashchenko, an Orthodox Christian and legal Ukrainian immigrant, lost custody of her then-15-year-old daughter in 2024 after rejecting her “sudden desire to transition.”

Lyashchenko told NTD that California is “deciding that my daughter is going to be adopted out.”   

Her family was “forced out of California” and is now “hiding in Florida” because California also wants her younger son, she added.

“They called us culturally unfit for raising our daughter in present-day America, meaning we refuse to mutilate and sterilize her,” Lyashchenko said. She noted that she and her husband have “no custody conflict” and “fight unanimously” to protect the girl.

“We were forced out of our house,” which they put on the market but “were not even able to sell,” she said. Her family has also spent nearly $500,000 in legal fees.

Lyashchenko slammed what described as the “cult” that pushes child “gender transitions.” “Police, medical, educational, mental, and law enforcement – every entity works with [child protective services],” she added.

Asked if she had a message for the people separating her from her daughter, Lyashchenko said, “I want to see them in jail.”

“I want to testify and I would bring my daughter to testify and say what they’ve done to her,” she stated.

California is known for its radical pro-LGBT policies, particularly regarding children.

In 2022, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill, SB 107, that allows California courts to take “emergency jurisdiction” of children who come to the state for “gender transitions.”

The U.S. Congress on Wednesday passed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) Protect Children’s Innocence Act by five votes, with all but three House Democrats voting against the legislation.

BREAKING: The U.S. House just PASSED the Protect Children's Innocence Act with a vote of 216-211. This bill makes it a FELONY to perform genital mutilation surgeries or provide puberty blockers and hormone therapy to minors.

Mainstream media outlets and leftist politicians are calling the bill “anti-trans” as it would make it a felony punishable up to ten years in jail for any doctor to perform gender reassignment surgery or prescribe hormone replacement therapy or puberty blockers to children.

Family members or others could also be charged for assisting the minor in accessing the transgender medical “care.”

Democratic Gov. Matt Meyer has signed an executive order that establishes Delaware as a legal shield state for individuals seeking or providing gender-alteration procedures, including for minors.

Executive Order 11, signed on June 20 at CAMP Rehoboth alongside lawmakers, advocates and members of the Delaware LGBTQ+ Commission, explicitly protects the confidentiality of both patients and healthcare providers, barring state agencies from assisting out-of-state investigations or legal actions that target individuals for receiving or delivering care that is legal in Delaware.

It also prohibits professional licensing boards of Delaware from disciplining providers solely for administering "gender-affirming" treatments.

"Across the country, people are being punished for seeking or providing gender-affirming care," Meyer said in a press release. "In Delaware, we cherish privacy, dignity and the right to make personal medical decisions. Everyone deserves the freedom to access healthcare rooted in science and compassion."

With a vote of 51-45 strictly along party-lines, the US Senate Democrats blocked the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act “ that, if passed, would have amended Title IX to restrict federally financial assisted recipients who operate, sponsor, or facilitate an athletic program or activity to permit a person whose sex is male to participate in an athletic program or activity that is designated for women or girls. The bill required 60 votes to advance.

The Colorado Sun noted the bill passed in the Senate earlier this week on a 19-15 vote. The 19 votes supporting the ban were all cast by Democrats.

The bill now goes to the House, which is where Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, a 2nd Amendment advocacy group, plans to wage a fight.

Rocky Mountain Gun Owners executive director Ian Escalante said, “This is a historic assault on our Second Amendment rights in Colorado. They are trying to turn the right to own a gun into a privilege. It is a major infringement and one of the worst gun control bills in U.S. history. We will fight it till the end, and we will fight in courts if we must.”

You Are Paying for Transgender Animal Experiments

(Gateway Pundit)  White Coat Waste, an organization aimed at stopping cruel and wasteful taxpayer-funded vivisection, has identified 15 active National Institutes of Health grants paying for transgender animal experiments, amounting to a total taxpayer cost of over $26 million.

Many of these transgender animal grants were coded in the NIH’s “Sexual and Gender Minorities” category — a category routinely used to route diversity equity and inclusion grants — which accounted for approximately $373 million of spending in 2023.

One experiment at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, cost Uncle Sam $668,250 — a sum well spent while studying whether mice receiving so-called ”gender-affirming hormone therapy” responded well to treatments for kidney failure.

At the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, $2,587,605 has been spent since 2019 turning mice transgender to study testosterone treatment on “reproductive phenotype and function and determine the reversibility of these effects following cessation” of the hormone.

In Oregon, $9,738,868 has been spent at Health & Science University to “expand and improve knowledge of the developmental and neurobiological determinants of sexual partner preferences/orientation using domestic sheep as the experimental model.” The goal was to turn rams gay by controlling testosterone secretion by the fetal testes.

Canada’s military has been actively pushing a woke pro-LGBT agenda on the world stage, with the latest example being its deployment of “task force gender advisors” internationally in war-hit nations, such as Haiti and Ukraine. 

The “gender advisors” initiative is noted in the 2024 Departmental Report of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This has resulted in it drawing a sharp rebuke from veterans who wonder why the military is spending money on pushing the LGBT agenda abroad.

The CAF report notes how in Poland, for instance, the “Task Force Gender Advisor was involved in all aspects of this training mission and supported the local Defence Attaché in connecting with local and Ukraine-based non-governmental organizations and interested parties.”

The report noted how the “gender advisor” as well as “gender focal points” were sent to military missions in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, Poland, and Latvia throughout 2023. 

In war-torn Haiti, “intersectional factors (were) being applied towards stabilization and humanitarian efforts,” via an “Operations HORIZON and PROJECTION” initiative.

Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) pledged to launch a campaign to boost radical sex change procedures in his state in response to Donald Trump’s landslide election.

Pritzker used Transgender Awareness Week — November 12 to 19 — as a platform to showboat over the issue, Fox News reported

“This Transgender Awareness Week, I want you to know that I see you and have your back as governor,” Pritzker wrote on X. “Illinois has enshrined protections for gender-affirming care to meet this moment — and because of that, you will have a home here always.”

Pritzker’s cousin, James Nicholas Pritzker, a retired lieutenant colonel in the Illinois National Guard, is now a transgender person who goes by the name “Jennifer,” and runs a left-wing organization that passes out grants to organizations that support “gender and human sexuality.”

As governor, the billionaire Pritzker has been at the forefront of pushing extreme and dangerous trans ideology. In 2021 he directed the state’s Department of Human Services to put in place a list of protections for “transgender, nonbinary and gender nonconforming students” as part of his reinterpretation of the Illinois Human Rights Act of 1979.

A new character in the “Star Wars” universe is causing quite a stir with fans of the franchise.

The first transgender Stormtrooper, named Sister, appears in the new book “Star Wars: The Secrets of the Clone Troopers.”

According to the X account Star Wars Holocron, the character Captain Rex gives a description of Sister in the book that says, “When one of our kind expressed her gender identity differently than her fellow troopers, she featured [sic] she’d have to hide who she truly was inside. Fortunately, her brothers in the 7th Sky Corps gave her the name Sister as a constant reminder that she belonged.”

The move to create a trans Stormtrooper by Disney (which purchased the rights to “Star Wars” from George Lucas in 2012) sparked a big reaction.

“This can’t be real. Gotta be a parody … there is no freaking way!” someone posted.

“What happened to the franchise I love,” said another X user.

A third person wrote, “These people just love to kill escapism and fantasy.”

“Are we really supposed to sit here and take this at face value for canon? Cmon this is some wacky nonsense,” another critic wrote.

However, others applauded the sci-fi franchise for promoting inclusivity with a trans character.

“I love this! More diversity in the clones and representation through each of them trying to make their existence more than just being a killing machine for the republic,” a fan wrote.

Hospital ‘transitioned’ autistic boy without parents consent

(LifeSiteNews) — Children’s National Hospital (CNH) in the nation’s capital faces a lawsuit for taking custody of an autistic teenager away from a military family over their refusal to affirm the gender confusion he expressed out of nowhere while hospitalized at the facility.

The Daily Mail reports that the family, whose identity is being withheld, says their son (who has since become a legal adult) told friends he “was LGBT” (the article does not specify what exactly he meant) but never indicated any desire to identify as female until November 2021, when at age 16 he was hospitalized following a suicide attempt prompted by the end of a relationship with his girlfriend.

CNH diagnosed him with gender dysphoria and held him for 41 days, refusing to release him to his parents and instead moved him to foster services, which placed the boy with a “single foster mother who had a previous assault charge and was alleged to be a close friend of” Lavender Kelley, the hospital’s activist, “non-gendered” chaplain.

The son attempted suicide again in July 2022 and was returned to CNH, this time as a “girl.” His foster mother removed him from a second autism assessment the following month, deeming it unnecessary. When that foster mother passed away, the boy is believed to have been given to Kelley herself.

The parents’ lawsuit against CNH accuses the hospital of a “full-on campaign to transgender this child” with “mental re-programming,” including compulsory letters to friends declaring he was now female.

“[We] had never known of [our] son’s purported desire or plan to change genders,” the family contends. “Rather than treating [us] as patrons with legal and dignitary rights, the defendant… treated the parents as though they had harmed their son, even though the parents had never endangered their child and had home-schooled him to college entry at fourteen years old.”

“At Children’s National, it is as if all critical reasoning toward the child was suspended, and there was no investigation into the extent that the child was lying,” adds the suit. They are seeking a trial by jury and $100 million in damages to make up for the crippling legal expenses they have accrued fighting for their son, which has already forced them to sell both their home and a “thriving” business.
