U.S. “piracy” after seizure of oil tanker

"Political power grows out
of the barrel of a gun."

 Mao Zedong

Venezuela accused the United States of "blatant theft" and "international piracy" Wednesday, Dec. 10, after U.S. forces seized a Venezuelan oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea.

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry condemned the action as part of a broader U.S. strategy to plunder the nation's energy resources, citing President Donald Trump's past remarks about controlling Venezuelan oil.

The incident has escalated tensions between Washington and Caracas, already strained by U.S. sanctions and military operations targeting alleged narcoterrorism in the region.

"This is not about law—it's about power," said a Latin American policy analyst, speaking on condition of anonymity. "The U.S. is leveraging its military dominance to control global energy flows while bypassing multilateral institutions."

There's no Democrats and Republicans

"There are no sides. There's no Sunnis and Shiites. There's no Democrats and Republicans. There's only HAVES and HAVE-NOTS.

This is a country, where the Secretary of Defense can go on T.V., and tell the American public, oh, that "This is about freedom! It's not about oil!" And nobody questions him, cuz they don't wanna hear the answer, because it's a lie."

UNCONSTITUTIONAL - Trump Goes to War on Foreign Soil

"What Constitution???"

The Endless Drug War is Pure Bullshit

While our whore politicians condemn the "Evil" Mexican Drug Cartels, both parties grant the American Drug Cartels (Big Pharma) immunity from legal action

President Donald Trump has ordered the US military to take direct actions against Latin American cartels, including conducting operations on foreign soil. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has labeled Venezuelan President Maduro the leader of a cartel and is offering a $50 million reward for his capture.

The New York Times reports, “President Trump has secretly signed a directive to the Pentagon to begin using military force against certain Latin American drug cartels that his administration has deemed terrorist organizations.”

The Times adds, “The order provides an official basis for the possibility of direct military operations at sea and on foreign soil against cartels.”

The Mexican government rejected a proposal from Trump earlier this year that would have allowed the US military to target cartels in Mexico. The Times notes the CIA is currently conducting surveillance flights over Mexico.

Congress has not authorized Trump to attack cartels, so any military actions would be unconstitutional. However, the President and Congress have long ignored the Constitutional process for war-making.

1984 - The Black Helicopters Really Are Watching You

Obey Your Fascist Overlords

(WND)  The state of Virginia is conducting surveillance of citizens by aircraft that could violate the Fourth Amendment, contends the Rutherford Institute.

The nonpartisan legal group announced this week it has filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Virginia State Police to obtain information about the aerial surveillance program, which targets marijuana farming.

In a letter to Virginia State Police FOIA Officer 1st Sgt. David Ostwinkle, the institute asked for the specific dates and times of all Virginia State Police flyovers and aerial surveillance of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison and Orange counties.

Rutherford also wants to know the precise locations of the surveillance and is asking for copies of policies controlling the surveillance. And it wants a list of all relevant equipment on the planes and helicopters, including any high-resolution or telescopic cameras, or other visual enhancement devices.

The institute said it has received a number of complaints about the flights.

"While the Fourth Amendment allows law enforcement to conduct naked-eye observations of private property during ordinary flyovers, the Constitution forbids unusually low flyovers or the use of high-tech, sight-enhancing equipment for aerial searches," Rutherford explained.

John W. Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute, said: "Incredibly, merely growing a vegetable garden on your own property, or in a greenhouse on your property, could get you flagged by these aerial and ground surveillance teams for a drug raid by a SWAT team."

He said the "sweeps, which have become regular occurrences across the country, are part of a multi-million dollar government program that sends local police, state police and the Army National Guard along with expensive military helicopters — out on exploratory sorties in order to uncover marijuana growing operations, even in states where it's legal to grow marijuana."

Mexico cartel hangs bodies from city bridge

Deeply Discounted Mexico Vacation Packages Are Available
This insanity is what open borders Dems and Traitor Republicans want for America.

(Guardian)  -  The merciless dogfight between Mexican drug cartels has produced its latest macabre spectacle with the discovery of 19 mutilated corpses – nine of them hung semi-naked from a bridge – in a city to the west of the capital.

The massacre, in Uruapan 250 miles from Mexico City, was claimed by the increasingly dominant Jalisco New Generation cartel which posted a large white banner beside the dangling bodies of its victims.
“Lovely people, carry on with your routines,” it read, beneath the group’s capitalised red initials, CJNG.
At least 10 other dismembered and bullet-riddled bodies were reportedly found dumped in two nearby locations.
Michoacán state’s attorney general, Adrián López Solís, blamed the killings on a clash between rival cartels battling for control of the region’s drug trade. Troops were being mobilized to investigate the crimes and catch the killers, he said.
The bodies showed signs of beating and torture.

Falko Ernst, an International Crisis Group researcher who studies Mexico’s cartels, said this week’s slaughter was clearly intended to intimidate rival criminal groups, the families of their members, as well as Mexican authorities.
Ernst said the bloodbath was partly about the struggle for control of Uruapan’s local drug trade. But a more important motivation was the fight for the region’s billion-dollar avocado industry. “The big magnet here is avocados,” he said.
Ernst said at least three armed groups were currently battling for control of the city of Uruapan – the CJNG, the Knights Templar cartel and Los Viagras, which is part of a larger organization called the the Nueva Familia Michoacana.
Stomach-churning displays of criminal might are not unusual in Mexico, which last year suffered a record 35,964 murders.
But the CJNG has become particularly notorious for its willingness to confront Mexican authorities with brazen public shows of brute force and firepower.
In May video footage emerged showing heavily armed cartel members parading through Zamora, another city in Michoacán, in cars marked with their group’s insignia. The cartel was blamed for a battle with local police that day that reportedly left at least four officers dead.

GOP Speaker Boehner could make millions off pot

Corruptus in Extremis?
Could This Be Retroactive Bribery?

  • Boehner holds 625,000 shares in the pot company. With a lifetime on the public payroll where did he get the cash to buy the stock? - - - or is this part of the game where you magically collect "legal" money after you leave office for favors done when in office?
  • But don't worry. No one will ever ask him these questions or look into it. And the game goes on and on.

Republican John Boehner, the former speaker of the House of Representatives, once said that he was "unalterably opposed" to decriminalizing marijuana. But now that he is a board member of a cannabis investment firm Boehner could make millions of dollars off cannabis if he can convince Congress to legalize it.

According to a report by The New York Times, Boehner's position at Acreage Holdings could make the former Ohio lawmaker a fortune. The multi-million dollar cannabis corporation is involved in a cultivating, processing and dispensing operation across 14 states.

In April, Acreage Holdings said it planned to sell itself to Canada's Canopy Growth — the world's largest cannabis company. The deal is expected to create an $18 billion organization, according to an analysis by the Times.

Boehner holds 625,000 shares in the company and stands to make millions through the sale.

Boehner retired from Congress in 2015 and joined the board of Acreage Holdings in April 2018 alongside William Weld, the former governor of Massachusetts who is now mounting a 2020 primary campaign against Donald Trump.

The move was a tectonic shift for the longtime Republican, who spent his 24-year career in federal government as a formidable foe of marijuana. In the four years that Boehner ran Congress, nearly half a million people (mostly black and Latino) were arrested for selling the drug.

Now You Can Major in Pot at College

Keep the Sheeple Population Stoned

Colleges are now adding cannabis to their curriculum. Grace DeNoya is used to getting snickers when people learn she’s majoring in marijuana.
“My friends make good-natured jokes about getting a degree in weed,” said DeNoya, one of the first students in a new four-year degree program in medicinal plant chemistry at Northern Michigan University. “I say, ‘No, it’s a serious degree, a chemistry degree first and foremost. It’s hard work. Organic chemistry is a bear.’”
As a green gold rush in legal marijuana and its non-drug cousin hemp spreads across North America, a growing number of colleges are adding cannabis to the curriculum to prepare graduates for careers cultivating, researching, analyzing and marketing the herb.
Research shows there are high times ahead for all kinds of careers in cannabis , ranging from greenhouse and dispensary operators to edible product developers, marketing specialists, quality assurance lab directors and pharmaceutical researchers.
Arcview Market Research, which focuses on cannabis industry trends, projects the industry will support 467,000 jobs by 2022.
And even in states where recreational marijuana remains illegal, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, some colleges have launched cannabis studies programs in anticipation of legalization or to prepare students for jobs in other states.
“We’re providing a fast track to get into the industry,” said Brandon Canfield, a chemistry professor at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. Two years ago, he proposed a new major in medicinal plant chemistry after attending a conference where cannabis industry representatives spoke of an urgent need for analytical chemists for product quality assessment and assurance.

(Reuters) - The former chief executive of Insys Therapeutics Inc (INSY.O) pleaded guilty on Wednesday to participating in a nationwide scheme to bribe doctors to prescribe an addictive opioid medication and has agreed to become a government witness.

Michael Babich, who resigned as the Arizona-based drugmaker’s CEO in 2015, pleaded guilty in federal court in Boston to conspiracy and mail fraud charges after entering into a cooperation deal with prosecutors.

His plea comes less than three weeks before five former Insys executives and managers including John Kapoor, its onetime billionaire founder and former chairman, face trial after being charged with participating in the scheme.

Child slaves in Britain forced to work on cannabis farms

Thank God For The Tories

  • Now Slavery and censorship in Britain. Thank God the so-called "Conservatives" are in charge. Just imagine the insanity if the Left took power.

Children are being trafficked from Vietnam and other countries to perform slave labour on hundreds of cannabis farms across London, experts have warned.
New figures released on Monday expose the scale of illegal cannabis farming in the British capital, where police said they had found 314 farms since 2016 — the equivalent of one every two days — according to Scotland Yard data obtained by the London Evening Standard.
One policeman, Detective Superintendent Lee Hill, told the Standard that there was a “human, emotional” toll in finding cannabis farms because there are so often children being exploited on them in dangerous situations. In particular, he said Vietnamese boys and teenagers are often asked to watch over properties in case rival gangs approach or a police raid is planned. “I’ve recovered children who are being exploited. They are there to protect the properties,” Hill said.
While the farms were found in every single borough of London, the highest concentration was found in Croydon in south London, with 30 factories found there in total. Hill said that the number was so high in Croydon for a number of reasons, including the fact that the borough was London’s largest and that it had high levels of gang activity and violence.
“I think we can make links to gang activity. Some of the recoveries are within gang territory areas. A lot of it does comes down to organized criminality,” he said. Hill said that historically the farms were found in industrial estates, but that it was becoming more common to find them in attics and residential properties.
Jakub Sobik, a spokesman for Anti-Slavery International, told Reuters the figures were “extremely worrying” and that it meant “potentially thousands of children and young people are being trafficked from Vietnam and exploited by ruthless criminal gangs”.
More than 2,000 victims of suspected child trafficking were referred to authorities in Britain last year — a 66 percent increase on the year before — with most facing sexual exploitation, forced labour or some form of domestic servitude.

Free needles for drug addicts INSIDE Prison

(RCI)  -  Two federal prison institutions in Canada will begin a needle exchange programme for drug users.
While diabetics in prison have had access to needles for diabetic inmates needing insulin, and for others needing EpiPens, this is the first time needles will be available for drug users.
The pilot programme involves a men’s prison in New Brunswick, and a prison for women in Ontario.
The reason for the programme is to reduce the rate of disease infection. Drug addicts in prison usually use needles smuggled in, or even makeshift needles out of pens.  Sometimes now contraband drugs and needles are being dropped into prisons by drones.  The needles are often then shared many times resulting in the spreading of disease.  This has led to rates of HiV among prisoners up to 200 times higher that of the Canadian population, and over 250 times higher for Hepatitis C.
An HIV-Aids activist applauds the decision but also criticises government for taking so long. Sandra Ka Hon Chu is with the HIV-AIDS legal action network which launced a lawsuit in 2012 against the correctional service saying lack of clean needles to inject drugs violates a prisoner’s right to health.
Prison guards are very concerned about the potential use of needles as weapons, and the added potential of the needles being infected with disease.
They say the programme also puts guards in a difficult position as they are supposed to stop drug use in prison.
Quoted by the CBC, Jason Godin who is the president of the guards union said, “This program represents a dangerous turning point. Correctional Service Canada has decided to close its eyes to drug trafficking in our institutions. It has chosen to encourage criminal activity inside the walls instead of investing in the care and treatment of inmates who are drug addicts or carriers of infectious disease”.

Big Pharma ignored as a factor in gun violence

Drugging the World For Profit
Guns + Drugs = Death
  • Capitalism has its limits when we see multi-national corporations making their quarterly profit projections by turning every American into a violent mentally deranged a drug addict.
  • I do not think it is an accident that mass killings coincide with the rise of legal and illegal drug use.
  • When my boys were in high school we had teachers (not medical professionals) pushing psychotropic drugs on our kids supposedly to help them learn.  Mix that with guns and off we go into madness.

By Gary;

Gun violence.  The response is predictable.  The Marxist Left wants gun confiscation.  The Loony Right will never agree with a single moderate gun law.

Both sides ignore Big Pharma's role in driving American's insane.

You can't turn on the TV with seeing endless ads for prescriptions drugs followed by attorney ads offering to sue Big Pharma for driving you insane or killing you.

Naturally at the exact point in the in the drug ads where the suicide and early death disclosures are made is where we see shots of cute doggies or lovers at a lake to distract us.

To protect themselves Big Pharma buys "protection" from the media.

Roger Ailes of Fox News said, ‘My news division gets up to 70% of advertising revenues during non-election years from the pharmaceutical companies’.”

So with this Mafia level protection Big Pharma can do what it wants.

This drug cancer is spreading around the world. The United Kingdom already has the fourth highest levels of antidepressant prescribing in the Western world, with a tripling in prescription levels in the last 17 years.

British scientists want at least a million more Britons be put on antidepressants.

Restrict Big Pharma

School shootings. Let's start with banning prescription drug commercials and revoking the medical licenses of doctors who feed into this horror.

On guns people with mental issues should not be able to purchase one. Period. Naturally NRA types will scream , but common sense has to come into play at some point.

Action against the drugging of America must be taken. Unfortunately the politicians and the media are bought and paid for.

Illegal Alien Force-Fed Goat Cocaine And Booze

Another Open Borders Horror

(The Smoking Gun)  -  A horse trainer is locked up on a felony animal cruelty charge after Georgia cops obtained video showing him force-feeding a goat cocaine and whiskey.

Deputies with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office yesterday arrested Sergio Palomares-Guzman, 28, at the farm in the city of Grayson where he lives and works.
Pictured at right, Palomares-Guzman is being held in the county jail in lieu of $11,200 bond. However, he is also subject to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer, apparently due to his status as an alien.
Palomares-Guzman was busted after a tipster provided investigators with a video “featuring Palomares-Guzman holding the goat’s horns while a second male suspect inserted cocaine" into the animal’s nostril. Palomares-Guzman then allegedly opened the goat’s mouth and poured whiskey inside.
Palomares-Guzman shared video of the January incident, which can be seen above. Two other male suspects remain unidentified, though deputies believe they reside in North Carolina.
The goat, which Palomares-Guzman owned, “received a veterinary exam and was given a clean bill of health,” according to a sheriff’s spokesperson. The animal, seen at left, is now available for adoption via the Gwinnett County animal shelter.

Greens - Pot Industry Creates Global Warming

Global Warming Will Kill Us All

  • The war on drug took a different turn with Environmentalists saying pot growing helps cause "climate change,"

(Washington Times)  -  The nation’s booming marijuana sector is struggling to go green.
Analysts and state regulators say the cannabis industry — including states that have legalized recreational pot and those that offer it only for medicinal purposes — is outpacing many other areas of the economy in energy use, racking up massive electricity bills as more and more Americans light up.
“The basic issue is the lighting intensity inside these grow facilities is much, much higher than anything else. They like these facilities brighter than an operating room,” said Ron Flax, the chief building official in Boulder County, Colorado, who spearheads one of the nation’s leading programs designed to incentivize weed producers to cut their power use.
The county’s Marijuana Energy Impact Offset Fund, which tacks on a 2.16-cent surcharge for each kilowatt-hour of electricity used by grow facilities, is something of a model for other states, cities and counties that also recognize the growing energy drain that has resulted from the rapid expansion of legal cannabis.
Everything Causes Global Warming

Data show the issue, often lost beneath the societal and medical arguments around pot, deserves attention.
Recent estimates show that indoor cannabis cultivation racks up as much as $6 billion each year in energy costs. Pot produced indoors can use as much as 5,000 kilowatt-hours of energy to produce 1 kilogram of product output, according to research compiled by RenewableEnergyWorld.com.
The $6 billion-per-year figure is equivalent to about 1.7 million American homes and is about 1 percent of total national electricity consumption. The annual greenhouse gas pollution from the indoor cannabis industry is equivalent to that of about 3 million cars, said Evan Mills, an energy analyst and research affiliate at the University of California at Berkeley.
Indoor cultivation is estimated to spew as much as 15 million metric tons of greenhouse gases each year — though some industry analysts say that data point and others are incomplete and premature, and that it’s too early to truly capture the carbon footprint of the fledgling sector.
In California, for example, which produces more pot than any other state in the nation, Mr. Mills said indoor pot growing accounts for about 3 percent of all electricity use in the state.
Figures in other states are similar — and those numbers almost surely will go even higher if the Justice Department doesn’t shut down the sector.
Seven states and the District of Columbia now allow recreational marijuana use, and four — California, Massachusetts, Maine and Nevada — passed ballot measures in November allowing non-medical consumption. With those legalizations will come massive production explosions.

Surrender Your Guns, Police Tell Hawaiian Medical Marijuana Patients

Democrats Are Coming For Your Guns

  • Republican politicians are worthless, lying pieces of crap . . . except on guns.
  • On the other hand the Marxist Democrats have proven over and over that they will do anything in their power to rape the Constitution and disarm American citizens. Now they are using the so-called "War on Drugs" as cover for their anti-2nd Amendment insanity.

(Leafly)  -  The Honolulu Police Department has sent letters to local medical marijuana patients ordering them to “voluntarily surrender” their firearms because of their MMJ status.

The letters, signed by Honolulu Police Chief Susan Ballard, inform patients that they have 30 days upon receipt of the letter to transfer ownership or turn in their firearms and ammunition to the Honolulu Police.

The existence of the notices, first reported early today by Russ Belville at The Marijuana Agenda podcast, was confirmed to Leafly News this afternoon by the Honolulu Police Department.

The startling order comes just three months after the state’s first medical marijuana dispensary opened in Hawaii’s capital city.

Here is the full text of one of the letters:

The clash between state marijuana laws and federal firearms law—which prohibits all cannabis patients and consumers from purchasing firearms—is a growing point of legal contention in the 29 states with medical marijuana laws.

The Honolulu letters, however, may represent the first time a law enforcement agency has proactively sought out state-registered medical marijuana patients and ordered them to surrender their guns.

Federal law clearly prohibits anyone who consumes cannabis—for any reason, and regardless of state legality—from purchasing a firearm. On the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Form 1140-0020, which must be completed by firearm purchasers, applicants are asked if they are “an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance.”

Use drug addicts to help develop Siberia

Hard Work Instead of Rehab

(RT News)  -  A lawmaker from the leftist opposition party Fair Russia has proposed developing Siberian land by building rehab clinics where addicts could receive treatment through work, hunting and fishing amid the natural isolation from the outside world.
“There are vast spaces in Siberia and the Far East that need to be developed,” MP Oleg Nilov said at a State Duma plenary session on Wednesday. “If we create rehab clinics there the very process of isolation, when there is nothing but taiga for 500km in each direction, would assist the treatment.”
“We could use labor therapy, nature, fishing and hunting, and even simply the fresh air,” Nilov added.

“I propose that we do this and solve many problems. I am confident that thousands or hundreds of thousands of citizens who would be saved by this program would probably decide not to return to cities where they had received their ‘lethal vaccine.’ They can stay and live in the natural environment, create families there. They would really boost the development of the Far East and Siberia,” the lawmaker stated.
He also said that his plan would only require moderate investment.
At the same plenary meeting, the State Duma approved in the first reading a bill allowing for a delay in the prison terms for people convicted of drug-related crimes if they are diagnosed with addiction and agree to undergo rehabilitation. The proposal reads that the delay should be sanctioned by a court and not exceed five years.
Drug use has been decriminalized in modern Russia, but it is considered a civil violation punishable by relatively small fines or up to 15 days of administrative arrest. Compulsory treatment for addicts is possible, but requires a court order.
Officials at all levels have repeatedly stated that the legalization of drugs, whether for medical or recreational use, was not on the cards. Currently, Russian laws do not distinguish between soft and hard drugs, and drug production and trafficking is punished with lengthy prison terms.
In a poll conducted in late June this year, 78 percent of Russians say they wanted to bring back criminal penalties for illegal drug use, while only 6 percent spoke in support of legalizing the use of soft drugs.
At the same time, about 43 percent of Russians said they considered drug addiction a form of illness that can and should be cured. Only 28 percent said that all addicts were potentially dangerous and should be kept in isolation.
