Ugly Liberal Racism

College Republicans  -  Still kicking Liberal trash in the ass.
A College Republican Club student at UC Berkeley sells baked goods with prices based on a buyer's race, ethnicity and gender.  The GOP bake sale was staged to mock a proposed new law by insane Liberals to allow race and more to be used for college admission.  Seated at right in support is former UC Regent and Republican Ward Connerly. Liberal Racism is an ugly thing to see

Boy, the way Glen Miller played. Songs that made the hit parade.
Guys like us, we had it made. Those were the days.
Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days.
And you know who you were then, girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.
People seemed to be content. Fifty dollars paid the rent.
Freaks were in a circus tent. Those were the days.
Take a little Sunday spin, go to watch the Dodgers win.
Have yourself a dandy day that cost you under a fin.
Hair was short and skirts were long. Kate Smith really sold a song.
I don't know just what went wrong. Those Were The Days.

"Those were the days"  -  All in the Family

By Gary;

God this story brings back fond memories.

The good old College Republicans are kicking Liberal ass at UC Berkeley itself.  They fearlessly challenge the insanity that is Liberalism in the very nest of the beast.

The Socialist and racist scum that makes up modern Liberalism want to change the law and re-introduce race, gender and more as criteria to gain entrance to the California state college system.  The very idea that students should be admitted based on merit never enters their minds.

To a Liberal you are not a student seeking entry to college.  You are of the Asian Racial Group.  You will be assigned a number based on your race.  Your grades mean nothing.  Your back breaking hard work means nothing.  You are an Asian.  So shut the fuck up, obey your Liberal Puppetmasters and get your Asian ass to your assigned place in line.  If there is room in your racial group you might be admitted.

The modern Liberal is no better than the white minority government in old South Africa.  The Libs would have us all tatooed on the arm or carry a government ID card with our racial group stamped in the corner.  They are obsessed with race and what racial group you are to be placed in.

The College Republicans brought down the wrath the the Commie-Libs on campus by daring to mock the racial profiling by Liberals.  The GOP bake sale charged different racial groups different prices for the same cupcake.

$2.00 for white Americans
$1.50 for Asian Americans
$1.00 for Hispanic Americans
.75 cents for African Americans
.25 cents for Native Americans
.25 cents off for women

(Note  -  Native American women would get free food.  That is only fair for the oppressed minorities.)

Those were the days

When I said all this brought back fond memories, perhaps I said it wrong.  This insanity brought back memories of my college days when I battled these crazy bastards.

Back in the ancient days of the 1970s I served as President of my College Republican club as well as President of the Los Angeles County Young Republicans.

Nothing changes.  We fought Liberal Trash on campus all the time.  Commie Whore teachers would show up at our club meeting and lecture as about our "manners."  Our members had dared to hand out flyers to students with our opinions on them.  Oh Horror!

Then there were the racist Mexican seperatist groups at school.  They would come up to our table screaming, yelling and tearing down any pro-freedom posters we placed.

Our one non-Republican friend at school was card carrying Communist, member and leader of the Peace and Freedom Party of California.  We spent hours talking politics with him.  He hated Democrats even more than we did.  He promised us that when the Communist Revolution came that we could help run the re-education camps for him.  Hell, a job is a job.  At least I have that going for me.

Yep.  Nothing really changes.

The Statists and Fascists still are trying to beat down the Constitution.  But it is also good to know that there are young people who still believe in the American Dream, the Constitution and are willing to fight the enemy.

Those were the days.  Go College Republicans!

Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight.  Those were the days.

Gays, Transsexuals and Gypsies

Gypsies and the UK Conservative Party
Britain's "Conservative" government is worried that transsexuals and
gypsies are not getting enough attention from teachers.

Is there really any difference between the so-called UK "Conservative" Party and the insane left?

Under a Conservative government British schools will be penalized if they fail to improve the progress of ‘vulnerable’ groups of pupils such as those who  are gay, lesbian, bisexual  and transsexual.

New Ofsted guidelines reveal that heads of primary and secondary schools must show their education ‘meets the needs of the range of pupils’ in their classrooms, including gipsy children reports the UK Daily Mail.

Critics hit out at the inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual pupils in an Ofsted list of groups that could be monitored for signs of progress.

They insist that head teachers will not wish to pry into the private lives of pupils and claim that youngsters should be treated as individuals, not groups.

There are also fears that teachers will feel forced to categorise pupils by their sexuality at a time when they are young and impressionable.

New Ofsted guidance says: ‘It is important to test the school’s response to individual needs by observing how well it helps all pupils to make progress and fulfil their potential, especially those whose needs, dispositions, aptitudes or circumstances require particularly perceptive and expert teaching and/or additional support.

‘In any particular school, such pupils may include disabled pupils; boys; girls; groups of pupils whose prior attainment may be different from that of other groups; those who are academically more able; pupils for whom English is an additional language; minority ethnic pupils; gipsy, Roma and traveller children; pupils known to be eligible for free school meals; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual pupils; young carers, pupils from low income backgrounds and other vulnerable groups.’

Brian Lightman of the Association of School and College Leaders criticized the highlighting of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual pupils.

The new Ofsted framework, which will come into effect in January, applies to all primary and secondary schools in England.

Iran is paranoid - and for good reason too

Iranian Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari says his nation may send naval ships
to patrol off American waters.

"When everyone is dead, the Great Game is finished. Not before."  — Rudyard Kipling.

By Gary;

I hope Rudyard Kipling is wrong.  The "Great Game" the powers play in Central Asia and the Middle East has changed over the years, but the dangers are so very, very real.

Iran plans to send military ships near the Atlantic coast of the United States, but offered no timeline or details on the “powerful presence” its naval head promised would be deployed.

It is also reported below that Iran is installing cruise missiles on their navy ships.  Combine cruise missiles with developing atomic weapons and their navy floating off the American east coast and you have a combination ready to start World War III.

Iranian Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari warned that his country plans to station ships near the U.S. sea borders in a move that would dramatically heighten tensions between the two countries, Reuters reported.

“Like the arrogant powers that are present near our marine borders, we will also have a powerful presence close to American marine borders,” Sayyari, the head of the Iranian navy, said, according to the official IRNA news agency.

The declaration comes just weeks after Turkey said it would host a NATO early warning radar system which will help spot missile threats from outside Europe, including potentially from Iran. The decision has angered Tehran which had enjoyed close relations with Ankara.

Iran equips navy with cruise missiles

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivering a speech next to
the newly-unveiled 'Qader (Able)' missile.

Iran has equipped its naval forces with a short range "cruise missile," able to hit targets in coastal areas and warships within "200 kilometers," the country's defense minister was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

"Today we are witnessing the equipping of the Guards navy and army navy with ample numbers of the Qader cruise missile," General Ahmad Vahidi said, quoted by his ministry's website referring to the elite Revolutionary Guards who are tasked with defending Iranian waters in the Gulf.

"It has 200 km range and has ability to be launched quickly against warships and costal targets. It flies in low altitude, has high destructive power, [and is] lightweight with high precision," he added.

He added that it could be fired from the coast or from vessels of different classes, increasing considerable the operational ability of the forces.  (Hurriyet)

Map of Persia in 1722
Iran suffered defeats in many wars with Imperial Russia, the Ottoman Empire and the British Empire.  Iran lost almost half of its territories to Russia, the Ottomans and the British Empire, in treaties such as Gulistan, Turkmenchay and Akhal.

Iran has every right to feel paranoid

Sometimes the paranoids are right and "they" really are after you.

First of all let me say that the current government of Iran is borderline insane and a possible danger to peace in the region.

But that being said, Americans and Europeans need a little history lesson about Iran and the region.  For hundreds of years Iran has been attacked by all of their neighbors  -  both Muslim and Christian.  This has resulted in Iran having nearly 50% of its land area taken away from it by force.

In recent history Iran has been invaded and occupied by both Russia and Britain.  The legal ruler of the nation was overthrown and sent as a prisoner to a British colony and puppet king put on the throne.  Both the CIA and British Intelligence organized a coup and deposed the legal government.  Plus Iraq invaded killing hundreds of thousands of people.

From the Iranian point of view, they see Western nations invade Iraq and Afghanistan on either side of their nation.  An American fleet operates off their coast.  On Iran's western border Turkey is working with NATO to set up defensive systems.  The American military is set up on Iran's northern border in Central Asia.

The Iranian government might be a bit nuts, but they are not crazy.  They can see they are ringed by foreign military powers that have done them great harm in past years and stolen large parts of their nation.

They are paranoid, but they are paranoid for a good reason.

How to handle Iran is one of the great foreign relations questions of our time.  I am not suggesting any type of action.  I am simply presenting history and some reasons why Iran acts as it does.

They have good reason to fear their neighbors and the Western powers.  Here are samples of the endless wars they have fought for hundreds of years.

Ottoman-Persian Wars (1514-1823)  -  The Persians fought a series of eleven wars with the Ottoman Empire over a 300 year period.  The Turks took control of the Persian provinces in what is now Armenia, Georgia, eastern Turkey, Iraq and Kuwait.

The British Lion and the Russian Bear fighting
over their Persian cat.

Russian-Persian Wars (1722-1828)  -  For over 100 years Persia fought a series of wars again Russian aggression into Central Asia and the Caucasus region.  Persia gave up huge amounts of territory to Russia.

Anglo-Persian War (1856-1857)  -  The campaign was successfully conducted under the leadership of Major General Sir James Outram in two theaters.  Outram invaded Persia through its' southern coast near Bushehr and in southern Mesopotamia. The war resulted in Persia withdrawing from Herat in what is now Afghanistan and signing a new treaty in which it surrendered its claims on the city.

The Anglo-Russian Convention of 1907  -  Persia was split into three zones: A Russian zone in the north, a British zone in the southwest, and a neutral “buffer” zone in the remaining land.  No one bothered to ask the Persian people if they minded being divided into zones by outside powers.

Anglo-Soviet Invasion of Iran (1941)  -  The invasion of the Imperial State of Iran during World War II, by British, Commonwealth, and Soviet armed forces. The invasion was codenamed Operation Countenance. The purpose was to secure Iranian oil fields and ensure Allied supply lines for the Soviets fighting against Axis forces on the Eastern Front.

Reza Shah, the ruler of Iran, was arrested and sent into exile in South Africa, leaving his young son Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi to replace him on the throne. Iran was effectively divided between Britain and the Soviet Union for the duration of the war.

1941 invasion  -  British troops and Soviet armored car in Iran.

Soviet Puppet States in Iran (1946)  -  During the three years of occupation, Stalin had expanded Soviet political influence in Azerbaijan and the Kurdish area in northwestern Iran, as well as in Iran founding the communist Tudeh Party of Iran. On December 12, 1945, after weeks of violent clashes a Soviet-backed separatist People's Republic of Azerbaijan was founded.

The Kurdish People's Republic was also established in late 1945. Iranian government troops sent to reestablish control were blocked by Soviet Red Army units. When the deadline for withdrawal arrived on March 2, 1946, six months after the end of World War II hostilities, the British began to withdraw, but Moscow balked, "citing threats to Soviet security."  Soviet troops did not withdraw from Iran proper until May, 1946.

CIA backed Coup in Iran (1953)  -   A successful coup was headed by retired army general Fazlollah Zahedi, organized by the American (CIA) with the active support of the British (MI6) (known as Operation Ajax). The coup — with a black propaganda campaign designed to turn the population against elected Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh — forced Mossadegh from office, and was remembered with anger by Iranians.  Mossadegh was arrested and tried for treason.  The Shah was returned to power.

The United States was born in the overthrow of the British monarchy.  Now the United States was teaming with the British to install an absolute monarchy on the Iranian people.

After Operation Ajax, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's rule became increasingly autocratic. With American support, the Shah was able to rapidly modernize Iranian infrastructure, but he simultaneously crushed all forms of political opposition.

Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988)  -  Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein attempted to take advantage of the disorder of the Iranian Revolution.  Iraq tried to improve access to the Persian Gulf by acquiring territories that Iraq had claimed earlier from Iran during the Shah's rule.

Tens of thousands of Iranian civilians and military personnel were killed when Iraq used chemical weapons in its warfare. Iraq was financially backed by Egypt, the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact states, the United States (beginning in 1983), France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, and the People's Republic of China.

Are those jack-boots I hear?

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Senator Barack Obama

"You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixing things. I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover.

I really hope that someone can agree with me on that. The one good thing about Raleigh is that for so many years we worked across party lines. It's a little bit more contentious now but it's not impossible to try to do what's right in this state. You want people who don't worry about the next election."

Democratic Governor Bev Perdue
North Carolina

"During my recent stint in the Obama administration as director of the Office of Management and Budget, it was clear to me that the country’s political polarization was growing worse—harming Washington’s ability to do the basic, necessary work of governing.

So what to do? To solve the serious problems facing our country, we need to minimize the harm from legislative inertia by relying more on automatic policies and depoliticized commissions for certain policy decisions. In other words, radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic."

Obama Budget Director

Spreading the wealth around

Solyndra hired Republicans Condoleezza Rice and Stephen Hadley to cover all
their political bases and grease all possible palms.

Bi-Partisan Corruption:  Everyone is feeding at the Beltway Green Energy trough . . . that way no one goes to jail.

By Gary;

I posted yesterday the question  -  "Why is there no Special Prosecutor for Solyndra?" as well as other scandals.

Well, the Washington Times has broken two stories about the bi-partisan feeding frenzy of corruption in Green Energy.  Both parties have their snouts deep in the corrupt trough of taxpayer money.  If both parties are on the taken then no one calls for a Special Prosecutor, no one goes to jail, and only a few pretend "show trials" and Congressional hearings are help to make the people think that the Beltway Elite cares.

- - - - Solyndra hired the Rice-Hadley Group, a consulting firm founded by former Republican Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.  Formed by Ms. Rice and former Republican National Security Advisor Stephen J. Hadley, the firm performed an analysis of the solar market in India for Solyndra, later helping the company reach out to potential business contacts in the country.

- - - - Six weeks before Solyndra announced it was broke, the company hired the Glover Park Group, a Washington lobbying firm founded by former Clinton Democratic administration officials, to help arrange meetings between company officials and members of Congress.

- - - - Solyndra has hired former Republican Governor William Weld to defend it during bankruptcy.

- - - - Solyndra flooded the Democratic Party with campaign money.

Everyone is on the take.  So no one has an interest in ratting out the corrupt system.

Former Republican Massachusetts Gov. William F. Weld (who endorsed Comrade Obama in 2008) will earn $825 an hour as special counsel to Obama's bankrupt pet solar-panel maker Solyndra.

Where is the Special Prosecutor?

Question:  Why are Republicans silent and not demanding the appointment of Special Prosecutors?

By Gary;

Let's boil it down to my main core point:  The United States is being Gang Raped by the bi-partisan Beltway Ruling Elite.

Operation Fast and Furious  -  Citizens of Mexico and the United States are DEAD.  The Big Brother Federal government is selling guns to the Drug Cartels. . . . . and no Special Prosecutor is appointed.

Solyndra Green Energy Corruption  -  Half a billion dollars vanishes like a fart in the wind.  Payoffs to the Democratic Party, a former Republican Governor is hired as the attorney at $825 an hour to defend the company . . . . . and no Special Prosecutor is appointed.

Phony Home Loans - Banking Meltdown  -  Perhaps trillions of dollars are involved.  Banking and loan fraud on a staggering, massive, international scale with the taxpayers picking up the bill for the wealthy and politically connected Elite. . . . . and no Special Prosecutor has ever been appointed.

Where is the Republican Party?

In school they teach the simple minded that the party out of power is an opposition party.  The opposition party opposes those holding power.

So if the Republicans are an "opposition party" then why do they not demand with a powerful and united voice that Special Prosecutors be appointed to investigate these scandals?

There are three possible answers.   1) the Republicans are fucking morons, or  2) the Republicans are in this corruption right up to their noses and want it covered up just like the Democrats do, or  3)  a blending of numbers 1 and 2 in different degrees.

Personally I think it is option number three.  Both Socialist parties are up to their necks in corrupt Crony Capitalism.  A massive bi-partisan looting of America.

The real victim is the American people.  But then again there is a certain amount of Karma here.  If you vote for assholes and crooks then you deserve whatever butt-fucking they give you.  Just shut up and enjoy the rape.

So next time you see one of these crooked bi-partisan bastards on TV telling you how "shocked" he is to see corruption going on.  Change the channel.  It is all lies, and you are being played for a fool.

2.8 million U.S. jobs lost to China

American jobs flood out of the U.S. to Brazil, Mexico, China, India and more

An insane world
  • Chinese Communists adopt Capitalism to create wealth and jobs
  • American Capitalists adopt Socialism to export wealth and jobs

The growing trade deficit with China has eliminated or displaced nearly 2.8 million U.S. jobs since 2001 -– or about 2% of all domestic employment during that period, according to a briefing paper from the Economic Policy Institute.

California was the hardest hit, losing nearly 455,000 jobs from 2001 to 2010 due to trade with the Asian giant, according to Robert Scott, the institute’s director of trade and manufacturing policy research. Texas lost nearly 233,000 positions the same way, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The increase in imports from China is only part of the picture, according to Scott. Since the Chinese yuan is pegged to the U.S. dollar, the currency remained artificially low, making U.S.-made goods more expensive in China and pushing down exports.

And heavy competition and cheap labor from abroad has pushed down wages for U.S. workers and reduced their bargaining power -– especially among the 70% of the workforce without a four-year college degree. In 2006, for example, a full-time median-wage earner lost $1,400 due to globalization, according to the report.

Since China entered the World Trade Organization in 2001, the trade deficit has boomed to $278 billion in 2010 from $84 billion in 2001.

Over that period, nearly 70% of the U.S. jobs lost were in manufacturing. Factory positions working with computer and electronic parts were especially depleted, but other jobs in apparel, textile fabrics and motor vehicles and parts were also significantly affected.

COKE CEO:  Brazil and China are better for business than the U.S.

Imagine a place with low taxes, booming growth and centralized command over all foreign investment.

That place is called China, and Coke CEO Muhtar Kent says it and Brazil represent far more attractive markets than the U.S.
Kent tells the Financial Times:

“It’s like a well-managed company, China. You have a one-stop shop in terms of the Chinese foreign investment agency and local governments are fighting for investment with each other.

“They’re learning very fast, these countries. In the west, we’re forgetting what really worked 20 years ago. In China and other markets around the world, you see the kind of attention to detail about how business works and how business creates employment.”

Coke recently announced huge investments in China and other emerging markets. Meanwhile it threatened to cancel an investment in France when the government proposed a new soda tax.

Kent argued that US states did not compete enough with each other to attract businesses while Chinese provinces were clamouring to draw investment from international companies. Meanwhile, he said, China’s budget discipline and rapid economic growth made it an appealing place to set up operations.

China now accounts for 7 per cent of Coke’s global sales volume and in the first half of this year it sold more than 1bn cases of its products in China, doubling the rate of its sales there five years ago. Although Coke does not report its profits by country, China represents about 6 per cent of Coke’s annual operating profits, according to analysts at Bernstein Research.

SHOCK: French left captures Senate

The Senate of France
The a stunning victory, the French Left takes control of the Senate.

Socialists, Communists and Greens take control of the Senate for the first time since 1958.

France's left-wing opposition won an historic victory in senatorial elections Sunday, in a blow to center-right leader President Nicolas Sarkozy seven months before he is to seek re-election.  The Left has also been making major gains in German elections.

The Socialist Party said that, with its Communist and Green allies, it had won enough seats to give the left control of the upper house for the first time in French history, a stepping stone towards a presidential win.

"Nicolas Sarkozy will go down in history as the president that lost the right its majority in the Senate," declared Francois Hollande, favorite to win the Socialist Party's nomination to run against Sarkozy next year.

Right-wing parties have controlled the Senate since the Fifth Republic was founded in 1958, and Sunday's flip to the left could break the already weak momentum of Sarkozy's unannounced re-election drive. reports AFP.

Before the vote, outgoing speaker Gerard Larcher had admitted to AFP that if he was defeated by the left it would be a political "earthquake" and "the preparations for the presidential election would be singularly changed."

Video Report

"For the first time, the National Assembly, the Senate and the president could be from the left, which would give them serious weight if they decided to modify the constitution," said political scientist Bruno Jeanbert.

The Senate is not chosen by universal suffrage but by a "super-electorate" of elected officials -- around 72,000 mayors, local and regional councillors, voting for figures on the basis of regional lists.

Around half the seats in the 348-strong house were up for grabs in the poll, and the left needed to add only 22 more seats to win a majority.

Muslims bomb another church

Indonesian Muslim youths who call themselves Al Kaida (Alliance of Anti-Israel and America Command) shout "God is great" during a declaration in Solo, in Indonesia's central Java province May 6, 2011. Around 100 youths took an oath saying they were ready to die to avenge the death of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, according to an Al Kaida statement.

Why are Muslims so frightened of freedom that they will kill people who are praying to God?

A suicide bomber blew himself up inside an Indonesian church as hundreds of worshippers were filing out after the Sunday service, killing 1 and injuring at least 22 people, police said.

The bomber’s mangled body lay at the entrance of the Tenth Bethel Gospel Church. Around him, screaming people were splattered in blood.

Police Chief Gen. Timur Pradopo said the low-intensity device appeared to be attached to the man’s stomach, says the International Business Times.

A woman working at an Internet cafe near the church in the Central Java town of Solo said the man had visited her shop an hour before the explosion and browsed websites about al Qaeda and a local Islamist group.

He left a bag behind containing a copy of the Koran, a mask and a cellphone charger, Rina Ristriningsih told the Associated Press. She said all of the items had been confiscated by police.

Indonesia, a predominantly Muslim nation of 237 million, has been hit by a string of suicide bombings blamed on the al Qaeda-linked network Jemaah Islamiyah and its offshoots since 2002, when a strike on two Bali nightclubs killed 202 people, most of them foreign tourists.

Critics say President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who relies heavily on Islamic parties in parliament, has remained largely silent as minorities have been attacked by hard-liners or seen their houses of worship torched or closed.

However, he was quick to speak out after Sunday’s attack.

The Green Jobs Black Hole

The Green Jobs Black Hole  -  The money goes in and nothing comes out.

Socialist Obama government OKs $624,000,000 in brand new loan guarantees for "Green Jobs" in just one week

With the $528,000,000 bankrupt Solyndra fresh on our minds, the Socialist government of Comrade Obama has just approved $624,000,000 in brand new Federal loan guarantees to three different "Green Jobs" companies.

  • $350 million for a geothermal project in Nevada
  • $105 million for a cellulosic ethanol plant in Iowa
  • $169 million for a wind farm in New Hampshire

Nine projects are still awaiting a green light from the DOE. To date, the agency has completed 21 loan guarantees, worth up to $10.1 billion, including the three announced Friday, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Solyent Green  -  The ultimate in recycling
green technology.

If there was any real money to be made by selling a product that people wanted then private inventors would be falling all over themselves to put their money into Green Energy.

When the government takes on the role of “investor,” it usually does so because, according to the party in power, the “wrong” companies are winning in the free market, and the “right” companies are losing. By seeking to pick winners and losers, the government distorts markets, weakens the rule of law, wastes taxpayer dollars, and fails to spur sustainable job creation.

Even in the midst of failed green economics, the Department of Energy has been advertising additional loan guarantee recipients, announcing a $1.2 billion loan guarantee to another solar company just one day after the FBI raided Solyndra’s offices.

GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, right, disputed actor Morgan Freeman's, left, claim
on Friday that the Tea Party is 'a racist thing.'

Herman Cain is growing as a candidate

Herman Cain is hitting back at Morgan Freeman for calling the Tea Party racist.

The Republican presidential candidate called the Oscar-winning actor’s eyebrow-raising remarks “short-sighted” on Friday.  "Most of the people that are criticizing the Tea Partiers about having a racist element, they have never been to a Tea Party," Cain told Fox News.

Freeman, who endorsed Obama in 2007, created a firestorm when he told CNN’s Piers Morgan earlier this week that conservative opposition to the President has inflamed racism in America. He added the Tea Partiers have the mentality of "Screw the country, we're going to do whatever we can to get this black man out of here…It is a racist thing," reports the Daily News.

Despite the criticism, Cain said he wasn’t offended by Freeman’s comments.  "Name calling is something that is going to continue in this because they don’t know how to stop this movement and this movement is making a big difference in politics," said Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza.

Cain wins Florida Poll

Former Godfather Pizza CEO Herman Cain won the Presidency 5 straw poll here Saturday, delivering a blow to Texas Governor Rick Perry’s frontrunner status and a victory for a candidate who has struggled to transform his grassroots popularity into strong showings in national polls.

“Tonight’s winner is Herman Cain,” Florida Governor Rick Scott announced. “It shows you something, the road to the White House come through Florida, and it pays to spend time here.”

He received 37 percent of the more than 2,600 votes cast.

“Thank you to the Republican voters for this incredible honor of being named the winner of the Presidency 5 straw poll in Florida today,” Mr. Cain said. “This is a sign of our growing momentum and my candidacy that cannot be ignored. I will continue to share my message of ‘common-sense solutions’ across this country and look forward to spending more time in Florida, a critical state for both the nomination and the general election.”

Chinese Communists steal land - farmers riot

Farmers riot in Southern China as their land is stolen by the Communist Party
and sold to developers.

Property Rights:  Communist Party headquarters and a police station attacked . . . "Return my ancestral farmland”

Media reports say that a peaceful protest by thousands of villagers in China over a land dispute turned violent while residents had clashes with police. Villagers in Southern China smashed buildings and damaged vehicles.

On Wednesday about 50 residents of Wukan village in Guangdong province of China held a peaceful protest after rumor spread that local village officials will sell their farm land without their consent.

It was known to media sources that villagers were angry by the seizure of hectares of land and their sale to property developer Country Garden for 1 billion yuan ($156.6 million). They shouted slogans and held up banners, according to a statement issued by the government of Lufeng city, which oversees the village.

Gradually the number grew and hundreds the residents began smashing buildings and equipments in an industrial park and blocked roads.

Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post reported that witnesses in Lufeng city said that around a dozen residents were hurt. Violent protesters even attacked local Communist Party headquarters and a police station, reported Post.

In an another report by AP, police arrested 3 villagers for planning the protest. On Thursday, more than 1000 villagers showed up outside a police station to seek the release of the villagers, and again clash broke out. Villagers smashed the windows of the police station and overturned vehicles as more villagers joined them. Police released the three villagers after that. The Lufeng government statement said more than 10 police officers were injured and six police vehicles were damaged in Thursday’s violence.

In China, all land is owned by the government.

"We are very angry because we have no land for our livelihood anymore," one farmer was quoted as saying.

Photos of the unrest circulating on the popular microblogging site Sina Weibo showed villagers marching with a large banner saying “Return my ancestral farmland,” a young man smashing an overturned police van with a stick, as well as riot police with shields and helmets huddling together.

The Ugly and Ungrateful American

How to win friends and influence people?
Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Kahn has been lectured by Hillary Clinton and
her country publically attacked before Congress.

U.S. Arrogance:  Insulting a loyal ally on live TV is perhaps not the best way to make friends . . . "You will lose an ally"

ar·ro·gant/ˈarəgənt/

Adjective: Having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.

Pakistan's foreign minister has warned that the US could lose Pakistan as an ally if it continues to publicly accuse Islamabad of supporting militants.  Hina Rabbani Khar told Geo TV that the US could not afford to alienate Pakistan's government or its people, reports the BBC.

The White House kept up the pressure, urging Islamabad to break any links it has with the Haqqani network.

SHOCK:  The leaders of Pakistan are sitting on a nightmarish volcano of a nation.  Any government official who does not know this is a fool or a liar.  The leaders of Pakistan do what they have to do to survive as individuals and as a nation.  But with all the internal problem they have the Pakistanis have also been loyal friends of the United States in the Cold War, the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan and in the current Afghan war.

Now the U.S. is insulting our friends on live TV to try and cover up for our errors.  This is stupid . . . no moronic foreign policy.

"You will lose an ally," Hina Rabbani Khar told Geo TV in New York, where she has been attending the UN General Assembly.

"You cannot afford to alienate Pakistan, you cannot afford to alienate the Pakistani people," she said. "If they are choosing to do so it will be at their own cost."

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also weighed in, telling reporters: "They can't live with us. They can't live without us.

"So, I would say to them that if they can't live without us, they should increase contacts with us to remove misunderstandings."

He and Ms Khar were responding to Adm Mike Mullen's testimony on Thursday when he told a Senate panel:  "The Haqqani network... acts as a veritable arm of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Agency.

We need Pakistan's land route to supply our troops.
Afghanistan is one of the most remote places on earth.  It is staggeringly difficult to
supply an army.  You do not want to antagonize Pakistan unless you want them to close
the land roads to us and leave our army isolated in Central Asia.

The Constitution - Neither party gives a crap

The NATO bombing of Libya and the overthrow of a government.
Slice by slice the Constitution of the United States is torn up and dumped in
the trash can of history.  Freedom and Constitutional Government, that is just crazy talk.

"The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government."   - - - Patrick Henry

By Gary;

Now that the war in Libya is starting to wind up you will see assorted Beltway Elite political hacks and liars parade in front of TV cameras, puff up their feathers and congratulated themselves on the latest overthrowing a government of a foreign nation.

And our Federalist Founding Fathers are again rolling over in their graves.

One by one our freedoms and Constitutional liberties are abandoned or are simply taken away from us by our "betters" in the Beltway Elite.

The un-Constitutional war on Libya on the orders of the United Nations is nothing new.  Ignoring the Constitution is truly a bi-partisan sport.  The list un-Constitutional wars gets longer and longer:
  • The Philippine-American War (1898–1903)
  • The Korean War (1950-1953)
  • The Panama-American War (1989-1990)
  • The Bosnian War (1992-1995)
But the vast, vast bulk of the politicians don't really give a damn about the Constitution.  After all they usually are sending other people's children to fight and die and spending other people's money to finance them.  The hacks believe in letting our Elected Caesar-of-the-Moment run the show.  That way Congress can avoid making life an death decisions, but can always take credit or place any blame as needed.

So as a public service here are some sample Declarations of War.

Some sample Declarations of War from the olden days when the Constitution mattered.

A Declaration of War   -   against the United Kingdom (1812)

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

That war be and is hereby declared to exist between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the dependencies thereof, and the United States of America and their territories; and that the President of the United States is hereby authorized to use the whole land and naval force of the United States to carry the same into effect, and to issue to private armed vessels of the United States commissions or letters of marque and general reprisal, in such form as he shall think proper, and under the seal of the United States, against the vessels, goods, and effects of the government of the said United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the subjects thereof.

A Declaration of War   -   against Spain (1898)

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

First. That war be, and the same is hereby, declared to exist, and that war has existed since the 21st day of April, A.D. 1898, including said day, between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Spain.

Second. That the President of the United States be, and he hereby is, directed and empowered to use the entire land and naval forces of the United States and to call into actual service of the United States the militia of the several States to such extent as may be necessary to carry this act into effect.

Approved, April 25, 1898.

A Declaration of War   -   against the Empire of Germany (1917)

Whereas the Imperial German Government has committed repeated acts of war against the Government and the people of the United States of America;

Therefore be it Resolved by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled, that the state of war between the United States and the Imperial German Government which has thus been thrust upon the United States is hereby formally declared; and that the President be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to employ the entire naval and military forces of the United States and the resources of the Government to carry on war against the Imperial German Government; and to bring the conflict to a successful termination all of the resources of the country are hereby pledged by the Congress of the United States.

CHAMP CLARK
Speaker of the House of Representatives
THOS. R. MARSHALL
Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate

A Declaration of War   -   against the Tsardom of Bulgaria (1942)

JOINT RESOLUTION Declaring that a state of war exists between the Government of Bulgaria and the Government and the people of the United States and making provisions to prosecute the same.

Whereas the Government of Bulgaria has formally declared war against the Government and the people of the United States of America: Therefore be it

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the state of war between the United States and the Government of Bulgaria which has thus been thrust upon the United States is hereby formally declared; and the President is hereby authorized and directed to employ the entire naval and military forces of the United States and the resources of the Government to carry on war against the Government of Bulgaria; and, to bring the conflict to a successful termination, all the resources of the country are hereby pledged by the Congress of the United States.

A Declaration of War  -  How quaint.  How old fashioned.

The Republic is dead  -  Long live the Empire.
That "oath" that political hacks take to protect the Constitution is a fraud.  Both Big Government Socialist parties are happy to give the elected Caesar-of-the-Moment the war power to do whatever the Hell he wants to.  Members of Congress have no interest in doing their job.  Their own interest is in strutting in front of TV cameras and in continuing to hold their offices.
