(Natural News) The GOP-controlled Idaho legislature is taking the most radical step yet in regards to pushing back against the administration of increasingly risky, and some say even deadly, COVID-19 vaccines.

As reported by KTVB7, “two Idaho lawmakers have introduced a bill to charge those who administer mRNA vaccines with a misdemeanor.”

The House Health & Welfare Committee was presented with HB 154, which was sponsored by Sen. Tammy Nichols, R-Middleton, and Rep. Judy Boyle, R-Midvale, on February 15. The bill prohibits individuals from providing or administering a vaccine that uses messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) technology for use in humans or animals within the state.

During her presentation to the committee, Nichols explained that the bill would make it a misdemeanor for anyone to provide or administer mRNA vaccines for use in humans or animals in the state of Idaho. Nichols expressed concern about the speed with which the COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna were developed and the lack of liability, informed consent, or data on mRNA vaccines. However, she later clarified that her remarks were specific to the two COVID-19 vaccines.

“I think there is a lot of information that comes out with concerns to blood clots and heart issues,” Nichols noted, per the outlet.

During the hearing, Nichols’ statement that the vaccines were fast-tracked was questioned by Rep. Ilana Rubel, D-Boise, even though they clearly were; most vaccines take years to develop but the COVID jabs were rushed into arms in about a year under then-President Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” program. Rubel said the vaccines allegedly survived testing (which, again, was rushed, and negative results were hidden) and then eventually approved by the FDA.

Idaho Christians arrested for singing without masks

(Daily News)  -  A “psalm sing” attended by more than 150 people Wednesday in the Moscow City Hall parking lot led to three arrests, including that of Latah County commission candidate Gabriel Rench.

Rench, a Moscow Republican running against incumbent Moscow Democrat Tom Lamar in November’s election, was one of five people cited by Moscow police for suspicion of being in violation of Moscow's mask/social distancing order, according to Moscow Police Chief James Fry.

Of the five cited, two also were arrested for suspicion of resisting or obstructing an officer. The fifth, Rench, was arrested but not charged with allegedly refusing to identify himself to police, according to Fry.

Fry said the officer who arrested Rench knew who he was but that Rench refused to provide his identification after the officer requested it.

Fry said none of the five cited were wearing masks or social distancing. 

The five mask order citations were the first given by Moscow police, Fry said. The mask order took effect in early July and states face coverings must be worn in indoor and outdoor public settings where 6-foot social distancing cannot be maintained with nonhousehold members.

Those who violate the order are subject to a misdemeanor, which carries a maximum punishment of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

The Moscow City Council extended the mask order to Jan. 5 at Monday's council meeting.

Oregon residents petition to join Idaho

(USA Today)  -  Frustrated by liberal policies, some Oregon residents petitioned to leave the state – by moving the border with Idaho westward. 

The movement secured initial approval from two counties and aims to get enough signatures to put the proposal on ballots in November, according to the group called Greater Idaho.

If the group succeeds, voters in southeast Oregon may see a question on whether their county should become part of Idaho by redrawing the border.

“Rural counties have become increasingly outraged by laws coming out of the Oregon Legislature that threaten our livelihoods, our industries, our wallet, our gun rights, and our values,” Mike McCarter, one of the chief petitioners, said in a news release. “We tried voting those legislators out, but rural Oregon is outnumbered and our voices are now ignored. This is our last resort.”

Greater Idaho said it needs to collect about 2,400 signatures from Josephine County and about 3,000 from Douglas County to appear on the ballot. 

"People here would prefer Idaho's conservative governance to the progressive/liberal current Oregon governance," Gottschalk said in a news release. "Every time I look at the Facebook group Greater Idaho, the group has gotten bigger."

Of Oregon's 36 counties, only 14 in the Willamette Valley area would remain if the group had its way. Moving the border would require approval from the U.S. Congress as well as the Idaho and Oregon Legislatures.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho -  (KIVI ABC News) - Twin Falls Police Chief Craig Kingsbury has confirmed that three boys who were allegedly involved in the rape of a five-year-old girl in Twin Falls were of Iraqi and Sudanese descent.

At a press conference in Twin Falls, Chief Kingsbury addressed community members and the city council about the alleged assault and explained that two of the three boys involved in the incident are at a detention center following the crime. The boys are reported to have been in the Twin Falls area for less than two years.

Chief Kingsbury was unable to confirm or deny if the boys are refugees.

“The Twin Falls Police Department does not take allegations of sexual assault lightly,” Chief Kingsbury explained at the press conference.

The statement comes after allegation arose that the police department took over an hour to respond to the incident.

Chief Kingsbury also went on to dispel the rumor that the fathers of the boys involved in the incident were "high-fiving," and congratulating the boys following the assault.

"We have no evidence that this occurred," Chief Kingsbury said.

Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs argued the rape allegations were misreported by social media and other news outlets that targeted the boys as Syrian refugees.

"There has been a lot of controversies as you know in the nation and in Twin Falls County in particular because we have a refugee center here," Loebs explained. "To my knowledge, there have been no Syrians settled in Twin Falls County. Whether that is true or not, there are no Syrians involved in this case."

Following the statements by Chief Kingsbury, Twin Falls residents addressed the city council.

“Coexistence does not exist in our country,” a man from Jerome explained.

A woman approached the podium and expressed anger toward the alleged perpetrators. “I am a red-blooded American. If they don’t follow our rules, they need to get the hell out of my country,” he explained.

The court records of the assault are sealed.

(World Net Daily)  -  The multicultural transformation of Idaho will continue with a planned infusion of hundreds of refugees from Muslim countries over the next one to three years.

A local newspaper in Twin Falls reported that city will receive 300 mostly Syrian refugees over the next fiscal year starting Oct. 1.

But WND has learned the numbers will be much larger statewide and include refugees from Syria, Iraq, the Democratic Republic of Congo and possibly Somalia.

Sources tell WND that community leaders learned of the plans for up to 2,000 refugees at a recent conference at Boise State University attended by church groups, social services providers and other “stakeholders.”

“That’s the number they put out that they’re planning for, a total of about 2,000 over the next one to three years, with 70 percent going to Boise and 30 percent in the Twin Falls area,” said Shahram Hadian, a former Muslim turned Christian pastor in eastern Washington who said he spoke with a conference attendee.

WND reported two weeks ago that Spartanburg, South Carolina, has also been selected for the seeding of a Syrian refugee community.

Unlike Boise, residents in Spartanburg have mustered an organized opposition to the infusion of 65 Syrian refugees over the next year, saying the town already has high crime and poverty and isn’t prepared to absorb hundreds of poor Syrians.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., wrote a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry demanding answers to 17 questions about the refugee program, such as what benefits will be expected to be offered and what the cost will be. That was two weeks ago. WND contacted Gowdy’s press secretary, Amanda Duvall, Thursday and was told he has still not received a response from Kerry, whose State Department heads up the refugee program nationwide.

Christina Jeffrey ran against Gowdy in the 2010 Republican primary and is a former historian for the U.S. House of Representatives.

“When the governor came out in favor of the refugees, our (Republican) legislators said it would all turn out OK and that they had faith in the vetting process,” Jeffrey said. “But this refugee thing makes us all very nervous, especially if the governor’s office is on board."

(Union Tribune)  -  Idaho authorities are telling movie theaters serving alcohol that they can't provide drinks during showings of the erotic blockbuster "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The Idaho State Police's Alcohol Beverage Control has contacted at least two theaters showing the popular R-rated flick, ordering them to comply with a law banning businesses from serving booze to people watching sexually explicit films.

"I just found it odd that this movie was singled out," moviegoer Michele Williams, 50, of Eagle, told the Idaho Statesman newspaper in Boise in a story published Friday (http://bit.ly/1BOpi8q ). "I just thought, 'What year am I living in here? Women can't control themselves when they drink during this movie?' I don't know what the message was."

The statute passed by Idaho lawmakers in 1999 lists types of movie scenes requiring a booze ban, including simulated sex acts or touching of private parts. "Fifty Shades of Grey" features bondage and sadomasochism scenes. Business owners that violate the law could face up to a $300 fine, a six-month jail sentence and a suspended liquor license.

"Movies like 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' the ladies come to our theater — responsible mothers, grandmothers, etc. — they watch a movie, they share wine," said Dave Corkill, owner of theater operator Cinema West. "It's part of an experience. It's part of what they want. We clean up the bottles whether we sell those bottles to them or they sneak them in."

He told the newspaper that some PG-13 films seemingly violate the law and that he hopes lawmakers will change the statute.

State officials also told Rick Kessler, owner of Magic Lantern Cinema in Ketchum, to stop serving alcohol to those attending the movie. However, the call came after its two-week run at the theater ended.

"It did not even cross my mind that this was in violation of anything," he said.

In 2013, the statute drove another theater, The Flicks in Boise, to decline to show "Blue is the Warmest Color," a critically acclaimed film about lesbian romance featuring explicit sex scenes.
