All the nuts roll to the Left Coast
(CNS News) - Due to overwhelming demand that left hundreds of Oregonians stuck on a waiting list, “Goat Yoga” is expanding and adding a new location near to metro Portland.
The new location will offer year-round classes and also host birthday parties for children, OregonLive.com reported Tuesday:
“It's been over a year since Lainey Morse created goat yoga and changed our lives forever.“Starting Dec. 9, Morse will bring her special brand of goat-infused yoga to Oregon City, much closer to the Portland metro area where over half of all Oregonians live.”
Morse describes "goat yoga" in a “60 Sec Docs” Facebook video:
“Goat yoga is people doing yoga with social goats wandering around.”
“We hang in the barn, we take goat selfies, we snuggle with the goats,” Morse explains. She says “goat yoga” is actually great therapy – and that people love it so much, “There is a 600-person waiting list.” Still, “Goats are very mischievous,” she warns, so clients should expect to have their yoga mats nibbled on.
“It’s really hard to be in pain and sad when there’s baby goats jumping around you,” she says.
