Gingrich: Mistake for Paul Ryan to view voters as 'nutty'

Newt Misses The Point of
The Trump Revolution

  • Being part of the Establishment Newt misses the main point of the Trump People's Revolution: we do not trust anyone.  PERIOD
  • We have been lied to over and over. Throw all of these bums out from both parties.

(Washington Examiner)  -  It's a mistake for House Speaker Paul Ryan to view voters concerned about election integrity as "nutty," former Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Sunday.

"First of all, Paul Ryan is from Wisconsin, which actually runs honest elections. If Ryan would look at the history of Philadelphia, including four years ago and the intimidation ... to suggest people [who] are concerned about honest elections are nutty I think is a mistake," Gingrich said in an interview on ABC.
Gingrich was responding to Ryan's attempt to distinguish himself from Donald Trump, who has expressed concerns about election integrity. "Our democracy relies on confidence in election results, and the speaker is fully confident the states will carry out this election with integrity," a Ryan spokesman said this week.
"Trump's major complaint about the election is not at the poll level," Gingrich added. "It's at the news media level. This election is being rigged by the national media doing everything they can to suppress bad news about Hillary and everything they can to maximize bad news about Trump.
"It's amazing Trump is as close as he is right now considering the one-sidedness of the news media barrage … 14 million citizens in private ballots picked Donald Trump and 20 TV executives decided to destroy him," Gingrich said.
