U.S. Blows Up U.S. Ship To Scare China
- Pardon me U.S. Navy, but I suspect that China is not impressed. Per the South China Morning Post, the Chinese hypersonic anti-ship missiles boast a terminal velocity of Mach 10, which is ten times the speed of sound.
This summer, the U.S. Navy conducted SINKEX drills, where three decommissioned warships were sunk during live-fire exercises, including the USS Dubuque and USS Tarawa.
-These exercises date back to the 19th century and have been used to test new weaponry and tactics.
-Notably, historic tests like the 1923 bombing of battleships by Brig. Gen. Billy Mitchell and the 1946 nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll demonstrated the effectiveness of airpower and nuclear weapons against naval vessels, shaping modern naval strategy.
This summer, the United States Navy saw three of its warships sunk – but not by Houthi missiles or drones, and certainly not by any "advanced" Russian fighter. It wasn't Chinese "carrier missiles" used to send the vessels to the sent to the bottom. Rather, the vessels were retired warships that were employed in carefully planned SINKEX drills.
Two of the vessels – the decommissioned Austin-class amphibious transport dock ex-USS Dubuque (LPD-8) and the amphibious assault ship ex-USS Tarawa (LHD-1) – were sunk during the recently concluded Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC). Both of the retired U.S. Navy warships were sunk in waters 15,000 feet deep, more than 50 nautical miles off the northern coast of the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

U.S. aircraft carriers and the ILLUSION of global dominance
America is being "protected" by World War II technology: a navy of surface ships and expensive tanks that make easy targets for modern missile systems.
But even in World War II our navy ships were being sunk by the dozen. The U.S. Navy is good to bully small helpless nations. Against a modern navy our ships are scrap metal.
More at Natural News
Sunk by Japanese kamikaze aircraft on 25 October 1944 in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. A total of 57 ships were sunk by Japanese kamikazes including 3 aircraft carriers and 14 destroyers. Some 368 other ships were damaged. About 4,900 sailors were killed and over 4,800 wounded.
.
Call me crazy, but if an aircraft carrier can be sunk by a "primitive" propeller driven fighter plane one has to ask how long these ultra-expensive ships will remain afloat in an age of modern missile technology or jet fighters piloted by Muslim suicide bombers.

British warships lack firepower to attack Houthi land targets
- The British still think they matter, so they continue to stir up shit around the world.
Britain’s warships cannot attack Houthi targets on land because they lack the firepower, in a situation described by former defence chiefs as a “scandal”.
None of the Royal Navy’s destroyers or frigates have the ability to fire missiles at targets on land, leaving the US to carry out the majority of strikes on Houthi targets with support from RAF planes based 1,500 miles away.
A British defence source said HMS Diamond, the destroyer stationed in the Red Sea, had not joined retaliatory strikes on Houthi targets because it did not have “the capability to fire to land targets”. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) said it had instead been “directly involved in successfully destroying Houthi drones targeting shipping in the Red Sea”.
This weekend, a British-linked container ship caught fire after becoming the latest vessel targeted by Houthi rebels.
One former rear admiral suggested that Britain’s inability to strike the Iran-backed Houthi movement’s bases from warships highlighted how the Navy would be unable to “go toe to toe” with Chinese and Russian warships.

WWIII UPDATE - Chinese Navy Patrols Near Iran
- The U.S. Chickenhawk warmongers in both parties have no fucking clue what they are doing and push for a new World War in Iran and Ukraine.
- Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE just joined the Russia-China BRICS alliance. So are the Chickenhawks planning on attacking the Chinese Navy to get to Iran? It's a new world out there with nations refusing to be bullied by the U.S.
Up to six Chinese warships have been operating in the Middle East over the past week, according to reports.
The 44th naval escort task force has been involved in routine operations in the area since May and last week spent several days on a visit to Oman, including a joint exercise with the country's navy, according to the Chinese defence ministry website.
The task force left the capital Muscat on Saturday, en route for an unspecified destination, state media reported.
During the visit, Chinese commanders met Omani military officials and visited military institutions, while sailors from both countries toured each other's shops. They also organised a basketball game, according to the state news agency Xinhua.

Navy Assigns Communist Political Commissars To All Units
Navy documents published by CDR Salamander on Thursday revealed the nature of the U.S. Naval Academy's so-called "Diversity Peer Educator Program," now in effect and planned to run until 2032.
All midshipmen are subject to instruction by a "walking safe space," whose expertise will include "sensitive topics like race, gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity."
This diversity educator position is the product of a 2021 initiative taken by the USNA's Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
The office indicated that it would create "a position in each company that specializes in the education of peers and the facilitation of proper reporting procedures for instances of discrimination."
The academy's diversity re-educator program was thereafter described in a February 16,
2022, memo sent by the USNA's Commandant of Midshipmen. Its purpose: "to create an inclusive environment that fosters dignity and respect throughout the Brigade by equipping midshipmen to lead across cultures in support of the USNA Mission."
CDR Salamander procured a partially redacted copy of the USNA's "Diversity Peer Educator Education Discussion Guide," wherein these group conversations are discussed along with best practices.
"Create a Safe Space" is listed as the #1 best practice for facilitating group conversations around diversity. This best practice is not limited to the group discussion, however.

Navy Is Training Sailors on Proper Gender Pronouns
(Free Beacon) The Navy is training its members to create a "safe space" by using proper gender pronouns in a new instructional video modeled after a children's show.
"Hi! My name is Jony, and I use he/him pronouns," Naval Undersea Warfare Center engineer Jony Rozon, who sports a rainbow-colored t-shirt, states in the video's opening.
The official training video is meant to emphasize "the importance of using correct pronouns as well as polite etiquette when you may not be sure of someone's pronouns," according to the Navy, which late last month published the video online.
The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service touts the video as an "official U.S. Navy video" posted by Air Force staff sergeant John Vannucci.
The nearly four-minute Navy video emphasizes how members can create "a safe space" for their colleagues by using "inclusive language" that signals they are "allies" who "accept everybody." Service members must take these steps to ensure they do not "misgender someone."

China Commissions Three Advanced Warships
- Navy surface ships are pretty much only useful for rescuing people at sea or bullying crap-hole third world nations that cannot defend themselves. But in a real war with a modern military power ships are little more than expensive sitting ducks for high tech missile target practice.
- The end of the traditional navy was there for all to see with World War II Kamikaze attacks. It was just a matter of delivery systems. With high tech missiles the days of a surface navy are over. But that never stopped politicians and military contractors (in China or the U.S.) from keeping the building programs going.
(Free Beacon) The Chinese Navy commissioned three advanced warships in April, part of a larger effort from Beijing to challenge American military dominance in the South China Sea and encroach on Taiwan.
People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) officials announced the triple commissioning of a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, a guided-missile cruiser, and a helicopter carrier at a naval base located near the South China Sea. Chinese president Xi Jinping reportedly attended the ceremony.
The Chinese naval buildup comes after a series of escalations from Beijing toward Taiwan, a democratic country and American ally. In March, China flew 54 flights into Taiwanese airspace and another 25 in early April. The aggressive behavior coincided with incursions into the South China Sea, including 220 ships landing within one of the U.S. Navy's defense perimeters, leaving questions about the territorial security of Taiwan.
Two more helicopter carriers are already under construction in Shanghai. The carriers can house several aerial vehicles, making them a formidable threat in the event of an amphibious invasion of Taiwan.
The guided-missile warship, known as the Renhai-class cruiser, sports its own advanced radar technology and array of missile systems. Beijing has authorized the construction of eight other Renhai-class cruisers. Meanwhile, China is building an additional nuclear-powered submarine, which defense analysts say improves their defensive nuclear posture.

All this was done with ancient World War II era technology. But for some insane reason we continue to build super expensive WWII style carriers and destroyers in an age of ultra powerful high-tech missiles.

Navy Seals Go "Gender Neutral"
I don't recognize this world
(Infowars) - The U.S. Navy SEALs changed its mission statements to be more “gender neutral,” including even dropping the phrase “brotherhood.”
This despite the fact there’s no female operators in the SEALs or the related Navy Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC).
In a recent memo, Rear Adm. Collin P. Green, the commander of the Naval Special Warfare Command, approved the changing of pronouns throughout the SEALs ethos and creed statements to be less male-oriented.
The memo was brought to light by retired SEAL Eddie Gallagher, who was cleared last year of charges alleging he murdered an ISIS fighter in Syria, charges of which were spearheaded by Green.
“What a joke,” Gallagher wrote. “Note the names that signed off at the bottom, [including] Adm. Colin Green (part of the hierarchy that tried to use the system to put me away). Let’s remove all male pronouns & BROTHERHOOD from the SEAL ethos.”
“To be honest I thought the ethos was always BS,” Gallagher added. “Now I know it is. A creed or ethos is supposed to be written in stone, obviously ours is not and will sway to whatever political agenda is being put out.”

From St. Petersburg to Syria: Russia marks Navy Day
- So many U.S. Chickenhawk loons on both the Left and the Right beat the war drums against Russia - - - - mostly to distract the Sheeple from real issues like internet censorship and corruption.
- Russia is not one of those weak 3rd world nations we normally like to beat up. Trump wanting to get along with Russia is just common sense.
Russian President Vladimir Putin attends Navy Day parade
St. Petersburg: Best Moments
On land, around 4,000 sailors in white parade uniforms marched through the city’s Palace Square.
China and India sent two of their warships to take part in the big event in St. Petersburg – a testament to Russia’s growing defense cooperation with the two Asian powerhouses. Incidentally, the INS Tarkash, India’s visiting warship, was built by the Yantar Shipyard in Kaliningrad, Russia.
On the opposite side of the country, Russia’s Pacific Fleet was the first to start Navy Day celebrations thanks to the difference in time zones. Its show included a simulated amphibious assault by the marines, who used BTR-82A floating armored vehicles, speedboats, and landing craft to seize control of the shore.
Vietnam and the Philippines sent ships to take part in this year’s celebration in Vladivostok.
The festivities in Sevastopol, Crimea involved some overwhelming rocket fire from anti-submarine ships.
A relatively small naval parade in the Syrian port of Tartus, where Russia leases a base, was supported by aircraft provided by the air force. Su-35 fighter jets, Su-34 ground attack planes, and other planes flew over the nine ships and 500 troops taking part in the celebration.

Navy to squander money on World War I technology
- World War II was little more than World War I plus aircraft carriers. By the end of WWII the surface navy was basically dead.
- Our modern navy surface ships are pretty much only useful for rescuing people at sea or bullying crap-hole third world nations that cannot defend themselves. In a real war with a modern military power our ships are little more than expensive sitting ducks for high tech missile target practice.
- But sitting ducks or not, that never stopped the Military Industrial Complex from spending and spending and spending.
