(National File)  The government of the Netherlands has announced a plan to administer up to six total doses of the controversial COVID-19 vaccines.

Hugo de Jonge, the country’s health minister, broke the news earlier today.

According to Jonge, COVID-19 will now need at least four boosters between now and 2023, as Newsweek reported.

This means that country’s residents will need to receive the initial two COVID-19 vaccine doses, the first booster, two more boosters in 2022, and one booster in 2023.

He wrote in a letter that the country should have sufficient supply of the vaccines to make his vision a reality.

“Certainly because only half of a regular vaccine is needed for a booster dose of Moderna,” he wrote, “We now have sufficient vaccines for the current booster campaign and there is ample basis for possible extra booster rounds in the second quarter and the autumn of 2022 and in 2023.”

Fires set, police vehicles burned, windows smashed – these are the scenes witnessed in the Netherlands, where anti-lockdown riots continued for a third night in response to some of Europe’s strictest COVID restrictions, which include nightly curfews.

At least 184 people were arrested during Monday night’s ongoing riots as at least 10 cops were injured as police in some cities fought back with water cannon and tear gas, officials said.

So far, rioters have struck in at least 20 cities and towns across the Netherlands since Saturday, when the nation was forced into its first curfew since World War II.

“We haven’t seen so much violence in 40 years,” Koen Simmers, of the police trade union NPB, said on television program “Nieuwsuur” (“Newshour”).

(AP) — Rioters set fires in the center of the southern Dutch city of Eindhoven and pelted police with rocks Sunday at a banned demonstration against coronavirus lockdown measures, while officers responded with tear gas and water cannons, arresting at least 55 people.

Police in the capital of Amsterdam also used a water cannon to disperse an outlawed anti-lockdown demonstration on a major square ringed by museums. Video showed police spraying people grouped against a wall of the Van Gogh Museum.

It was the worst violence to hit the Netherlands since the pandemic began and the second straight Sunday that police clashed with protesters in Amsterdam. The country has been in a tough lockdown since mid-December that is due to continue at least until Feb. 9. The government beefed up the lockdown with a 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. curfew that went into force on Saturday.

Justice Minister Ferd Grapperhaus condemned the violence.

In Eindhoven, 125 kilometers (78 miles) south of Amsterdam, a central square near the main railway station was littered with rocks, bicycles and shattered glass. The crowd of hundreds of demonstrators also was believed to include supporters of the anti-immigrant group PEGIDA, which had sought to demonstrate in the city.

Eindhoven police said they made at least 55 arrests and warned people to stay away from the city center amid the clashes. Trains to and from the station were halted and local media reported plundering at the station.

A woman not involved in the protests was hospitalized after being injured by a police horse, police said.

Police said more than 100 people were arrested in Amsterdam.

Dutch media reported unrest in other Dutch towns Sunday night caused by people protesting against the curfew.

The violence came a day after anti-curfew rioters torched a coronavirus testing facility in the Dutch fishing village of Urk.

Video from Urk, 80 kilometers (50 miles) northeast of Amsterdam, showed youths breaking into the coronavirus testing facility near the village’s harbor before it was set ablaze Saturday night.

(Summit News)  -  A depiction of life in 2022 by an Italian magazine first published in 1962 depicted pedestrians using motorized pods instead of walking, something that may turn out to be quite accurate given current fears over coronavirus.

The image was drawn by Walter Molino, an Italian comics artist and illustrator. It featured on the front page of a 1962 edition of La Domenica del Corriere, an Italian weekly newspaper which ran from 1899 to 1989.

The cartoon shows individuals navigating the sidewalk from within the confines of their own personal pod.

While the depiction was probably more of a pedestrian travel-related prediction, it meshes quite eerily with current fears over coronavirus, which has led to suggestions that the “new normal” must incorporate a similar pod-based lifestyle to protect against the virus, because apparently immune systems don’t function anymore.

As the video below shows, a restaurant in the Netherlands is trialing individual greenhouse-style pods where diners eat in “safety” as their waiter brings them their food on a long board while wearing a head visor and a mask.

What happens in summer when the glorified greenhouses reach near oven temperatures was not discussed in the video.

Proposals for people to be ensconced within their own pods for air travel, trips to the beach and other activities have also emerged in recent weeks.

(Daily Caller)  -  A Dutch court has ruled that Pastafarianism is not a real religion and that its alleged god, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, cannot legitimately demand that its adherents wear pasta strainers in their identification photos.

Mienke de Wilde, a law student in the Netherlands, claimed to be a practicing member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and tried to wear a colander to take her drivers license and passport photo, The Guardian reported Thursday. The court ruled that the “religion” is actually closer to a satire than a real faith.

Pastafarianism originated in 2005 as a protest against Christians who believed creationism should be taught in school. Austrian courts ruled in 2011 that Pastafarianism was a state-protected religion, and its adherents then began wearing the appropriate headgear. 

“I can imagine that it all looks very odd if you don’t believe,” de Wilde told the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper. “But that’s the case with many faiths if you don’t believe in them – people who walk on water or divide themselves in two, for example. I find other religions unbelievable.”

The Dutch court rejected de Wilde’s premise that wearing the strainer was mandatory, however.

“It may be the case that the colander is considered a holy object for Pastafarians, worn in honour of the Flying Spaghetti Monster but there is no obligation to do so,” the ruling read. “In fact, Pastafarianism has no obligations or restrictions. De Wilde has said she wears her colander because she sees it as duty but it is an individual choice.”

“If they don’t like a changing Netherlands in which people with different cultures live… like in the city of Zaandam or the neighbourhood of Poelenburg, they should get lost,” Tunahan Kuzu said during an interview.

Anti-mass immigration politician Geert Wilders responded to Kuzu by telling him to go home to Turkey.

In the 2017 Dutch election, Kuzu’s party, which refuses to recognize the Armenian genocide, attracted 200,000 votes, enabling it to gain three seats in parliament.

What Kuzu is specifically referring to when he speaks of “a changing Netherlands” remains unclear.

Maybe he’s referring to how every year a thousand underage Dutch girls are trafficked into sex slavery by pimps with migrant backgrounds.

Maybe he’s referring to school children being indoctrinated into the new diversity-friendly environment by being made to pray in mosques.

Maybe he’s referring to the fact that violent homophobic attacks on gay people in Holland by Muslim migrant youths are increasing.

Maybe he’s referring to the fantastic economic benefits that Muslim migrants bring to the Netherlands, like the 85% of “refugees” who remain unemployed and on welfare since they arrived in the country in 2014.

(Agence France-Presse)  -  A controversial suicide pod that enables its occupant to kill themselves at a press of a button went on display at Amsterdam funeral show on Saturday.

Called the "Sarco", short for sarcophagus, the 3D-printed machine invented by Australian euthanasia activist Philip Nitschke and Dutch designer Alexander Bannink comes with a detachable coffin, mounted on a stand that contains a nitrogen canister.

"The person who wants to die presses the button and the capsule is filled with nitrogen. He or she will feel a bit dizzy but will then rapidly lose consciousness and die," said Nitschke, who has been dubbed "Dr Death" for his work to legalise euthanasia.

The "Sarco" is a device "to provide people with a death when they wish to die," Nitschke told AFP.

The inventors put a model of the device on display, together with a set of virtual reality glasses to give visitors a true-to-life experience of what it would be like to sit in the pod, before ultimately pressing the button.

Nitschke said he aimed to build the first fully-functioning pod before the end of the year.

After that, the design will be put online as an open-source document for people to download.

"That means that anybody who wants to build the machine can download the plans and 3D-print their own device," Nitschke said.

What the party stands for is a mystery, as its Elites are clearly beholden to insiders, special interests and Corporate donors while glorifying the worst excesses of globalism and the National Security State’s endless war on civil liberties.

The newly awakened citizen would also marvel at the chaotic war zone of the Republican Party, in which the Insider Warlords are battling insurgent Outsiders, while the same Elites that fund the Democratic machine are wondering what they’re buying with their millions of dollars in contributions, for it’s unclear what the Republican Party stands for: it’s for Small Government, except when it’s for Bigger Government, which is 95% of the time; it’s for more law enforcement and the militarization of local police, and more intrusion into the lives of the citizenry; it’s for stricter standards for welfare, except for Corporate Welfare; it’s for tax reform, except the thousands of pages of give-aways, loopholes and tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations all remain untouched, and so on: a smelly tangle of special interests masked by a few sprays of PR air freshener to the millions left behind by the globalization that has so enriched Corporate America and the class of financier-owners, bankers, insiders and technocrats–the same group that funds and controls both political parties.

Political parties arose to consolidate centralized control of the central state.

We have now reached the perfection of this teleology: the political elites and the financial elites are now one class. In our pay-to-play “democracy,” only the votes of wealth and institutional power count.

Back in the USA the last time a third party won a seat in our House of Representatives was way back in 1948.  Simply democracy does not exist when the same two parties "magically" win 100% of all elections.

(London Daily Mail)  -  Right-wing Dutch MP Geert Wilders has accused the country's victorious Prime Minister Mark Rutte of treating his supporters like 'semi Nazis' after his party lost the General Election.

Rutte's VVD party won with a predicted 32 seats in the 150-seat parliament, while Wilders' populist PVV party is joint second with 19 seats, alongside the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) and the Democracy party (D66).

The anti-Islam politician has previously promised to deliver a Nexit, a Dutch version of Brexit from the EU, and a 'patriotic revolution' to the Dutch people.

The loss represent a decrease of 10 seats for Rutte and an increase of seven seats for Wilders.

Speaking after exit polls predicted he had won his third term as Prime Minister, a jubilant Rutte said: 'This is an evening where the Netherlands, after Brexit and Trump, said 'That's enough of the wrong sort of populism'.

This year's elections saw the highest turnout in the past 31 years, with 82 per cent of people going out to vote.

(Breitbart London)  -  A Dutch academic and expert in migration has called for better vetting of new arrivals, claiming 50 million Muslims around the world are prepared to accept the use of violence in “defence” of their religion and ideology.

Professor Ruud Koopmans, a former supporter of the left-wing Dutch Green party, said of the 1 billion adult Muslims in the world, “half of them [500 million] are attached to an arch-conservative Islam which places little worth on the rights of women, homosexuals, and people of other faiths”.

Speaking to RP-Online, he said around 50 million of the half-a-billion ultra-conservatives were in some way prepared to support violence in the name of Islam.

“They support the radicals, they encourage them and provide them shelter or simply keep their mouths shut when they observe radicalisation”, explained the Director of the Research Unit on Migration, Integration, and Transnationalisation at the Berlin Social Sciences Centre.

His 50-million estimate was likely to be “an understatement”, he said, citing studies showing that some eight per cent of German Muslims agreed with the use of violence against “infidels”.

In his own country, the Netherlands, he claimed 11 per cent of Muslims agreed with the statement: “There are situations in which it is acceptable for me, from the perspective of my religion, that I use violence.”

The professor also cited a study by the American Pew Research Center, which in 2013 asked Muslims in several Islamic countries whether suicide attacks against civilians are justified to defend Islam. An average of 14 per cent surveyed said that such attacks were “often / sometimes” justified.

“If we were to apply the 14 per cent from the Pew study to all of the Muslims worldwide, we would have 140 million supporters of violence,” he said.

When asked if Christians were also prepared to use violence in the name of religion, the professor said he had found little evidence in support of this notion.

“I have indeed investigated the spread of religious fundamentalism and hatred of foreigners among Muslims and Christians in Europe. The results showed that both are much more common among Muslims,” he said.

The professor also said Western nations must be more cautious with their immigration and vetting policies. “We owe it to the Christian, Jewish, and non-fundamentalist Muslim refugees who fled because of hatred and intolerance,” he insisted.

(Breitbart London)  -  A plan to eliminate racism unveiled last week by the Netherlands’ Denk (Think) party contains proposals such as creating a 1,000-man strong “Racism Police” and renaming of streets and museums associated with Holland’s colonial and slave-trading history.

The document, released by Think last week, claims the Netherlands is blighted by ‘institutional racism’ and outlines a radical program to combat this. Qualifying as an official political party last year, Think is the first political force established by migrants for migrants in Europe.

The paper advocates the creation of a 1,000-agent “Racism Police”, as Think believe too few people are presently being prosecuted for racism and discrimination. Penalties for these crimes would also see a massive hike under the party.

Also set out in the document are Think’s plans for a “Racism Register”, which would catalogue Dutch people deemed disrespectful to migrants. “Convicted racists” would be barred from government and public sector jobs.

Other proposals outlined include a ban on the terms “native” and “immigrant” and the creation of a national holiday which would celebrate “diversity” in the Netherlands.

Advance therapy for rape — isn’t that swell? Close your eyes and think of Holland, girls!

The article below discusses the whimsical T-shirt pictured above, among other aspects of the revolt against multicult in the Netherlands. It’s a reminder that Hungary is leading the resistance against Islamization and mass immigration in Europe. The Hungarian referendum coming up on Sunday (on whether to accept mandatory migrant quotas from the EU) is as significant for the future of Europe as last May’s Brexit vote in the UK.

Hungary deserves the support of immigration-critics throughout the West. It comes highly recommended as a tourist destination, as do the other countries of the Visegrad Group. For those who can’t make the trip, buying Hungarian products is a suitable alternative. Which, needless to say, makes me think of wine.

I consulted with the future Baron, who is a wine expert, and he says that Tokaji, a.k.a. Tokay, is the most well-known Hungarian wine. It’s a sweet white dessert wine, like a sauterne or an ice wine. But he says there are also dry reds, including Egri Bikavér (“bull’s blood from Eger”). From the wiki:

So… wine, pork, and maybe a Magyar agár puppy. How much more Islamophobic can you get?

(AP) — Dutch anti-Islam lawmaker Geert Wilders appealed Friday for judges to throw out a hate-speech case against him, branding it a political prosecution that should not be handled in a criminal court.

"You can bring this charade of a political process to an end now," Wilders told judges in an emotional final statement to the court at a pretrial hearing.

The politically charged case comes just months before parliamentary elections that are due in March, which could see Wilders' Freedom Party emerge as the largest party. The party placed second in a poll of polls four days ago, narrowly behind the Liberal Party of Prime Minister Mark Rutte. If the court allows the case to go ahead, Wilders' trial is expected to start Oct. 31.

The case against Wilders, who was acquitted in 2011 of insulting Islam, centers on comments made before and after Dutch local elections in 2014. At one party meeting he asked supporters whether they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands, drawing them into the chant of "Fewer! Fewer! Fewer!"

"We'll take care of it," he replied.

Wilders told the judges his comments were no worse than those of many other Dutch lawmakers, up to and including Rutte, in the fiery public debate in the Netherlands about the place of ethnic minorities in society.

"It's right that they aren't prosecuted," Wilders said. "But I don't understand why I'm prosecuted ... and they are not."

(London Daily Mail)  -  Police officers were forced to shoot down a knife wielding man who terrified shoppers with shouts of 'Allah Akbar.'

The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in Spijkenisse, a commuter-town close to the city of Rotterdam in the west of the Netherlands.

The police spotted a local man, 35, close to the central metro station of Spijkenisse who made wild movements with a butcher's knife.

Shoppers and commuters were especially worried by shouts of 'Allah Akbar'.

A police officer was forced to shoot down the man when he came storming towards them with the knife.

According to a police spokesman, the knife wielding man was still responsive after he was shot in his leg, and was taken to a hospital.

Multiple eye-witnesses heard the shouts of 'Allah Akbar', although some who watched the scenes unfold were not impressed.

One eye-witness said: 'About every person on the planet is shouting 'Allah Akbar' nowadays.' 

The man heard from a group of girls that the suspect also dropped his pants in front of them before making a scene with the butcher's knife.
