CDC FASCISM: No Alcohol or Singing During Thanksgiving

(Summit News)  -  The CDC has published a lengthy list of guidelines for how people should behave at Thanksgiving gatherings, including avoiding singing, keeping noise levels down and limiting alcohol consumption.

Basically, anything fun is frowned upon ‘because COVID’.

The guidelines appear on the official CDC website under the heading ‘Holiday Celebrations and Small Gatherings’ and include literally dozens of “considerations for small gatherings of family and friends.”

“Encourage guests to avoid singing or shouting, especially indoors. Keep music levels down so people don’t have to shout or speak loudly to be heard,” states the website.

Consumption of alcohol is listed as a “high risk activity” that “may alter judgment and make it more difficult to practice COVID-19 safety measures.”

The guidelines also state that people must wear masks, stay 6 feet apart from people they don’t live with along with a virtual essay length list of suggested behaviors that are impossible to uphold and would completely ruin the occasion.

Respondents to the guidelines on Twitter were not very impressed.

“Code for… Avoid Living. This is not the American experience,” said one.

“Up next…no laughing, talking or blinking,” said another.

“What in God’s name would music levels have to do with virus transmissions?” asked another.
