Bloomberg goosesteps into his perfect world while the ball-less Sheeple of New York meekly obey the orders of their insane Führer.
Führer Michael Bloomberg unleashes his ban on large sodas on March 12 — and there are some nasty surprises lurking for hardworking families.
Say goodbye to that 2-liter bottle of Coke with your pizza delivery, pitchers of soft drinks at your kid’s birthday party and some bottle-service mixers at your favorite nightclub.
They’d violate Führer Bloomberg’s new rules, which prohibit eateries from serving or selling sugary drinks in containers larger than 16 ounces.
Bloomberg’s soda smackdown follows his attacks on salt, sugar, trans fat, smoking and even baby formula reports the New York Post.
The Fascist city Health Department last week began sending brochures to businesses that would be affected by the latest ban, including restaurants, bars and any “food service” establishment subject to letter grades.

“It’s not fair. If you’re gonna tell me what to do, it’s no good,” said Steve DiMaggio of Caruso’s in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. “It’s gonna cost a lot more.”
And consumers, especially families, will soon see how the rules will affect their wallets — forcing them to pay higher unit prices for smaller bottles.
Typically, a pizzeria charges $3 for a 2-liter bottle of Coke. But under the ban, customers would have to buy six 12-ounce cans at a total cost of $7.50 to get an equivalent amount of soda.
“I really feel bad for the customers,” said Lupe Balbuena of World Pie in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
Deliveryman Philippe Daniba said he had brought countless 2-liter bottles of soda to customers over his 19 years at the restaurant. The ban, he said, “doesn’t make sense.”
Industry-group officials agreed.
“It’s ludicrous,” said Robert Bookman, a lawyer for the New York City Hospitality Alliance. “It’s a sealed bottle of soda you can buy in the supermarket. Why can’t they deliver what you can get in the supermarket?”
Families will get pinched at kid-friendly party places, which will have to chuck their plastic pitchers because most hold 60 ounces — even though such containers are clearly intended for more than one person.

The National Rifle Association has obtained a Department of Justice memo calling for national gun registration and confiscation.
The nine page “cursory summary” on current gun control initiatives was not officially released by the Obama administration.
The DOJ memo (downloadable here as a PDF) states the administration “believes that a gun ban will not work without mandatory gun confiscation,” according to the NRA, and thinks universal background checks “won’t work without requiring national gun registration.”
Obama has yet to publicly support national registration or firearms confiscation, although the memo reveals his administration is moving in that direction reports Infowars News. ..
The memo stands in stark contrast to the administration’s public stance on so-called gun control. White House spokesman Jay Carney said last month that laws proposed by Obama would not “take away a gun from a single law-abiding American.”
The NRA declined to explain how it obtained the document. The memo was written by the acting director of the Justice Department’s National Institute of Justice, Greg Ridgeway. It is dated January 4, two weeks before Obama mounted his attack on the Second Amendment following the Sandy Hook massacre. Ridgeway came to the Justice Department from the RAND corporation.
The memo says universal background checks on firearms purchases may help the government push to control and eventually outlaw firearms, but it would lead to an increase in illegally purchased guns.
It pointed out that banning high capacity ammunition clips would be ineffective due to the fact there is a large number of them already in circulation.

Just say no to Hollywood's orgy of Self-Masturbation
The ratings for the Oscars keep slipping as it degenerates into a self-absorbed Hollywood world of millionaires patting each other on the back for being so smart and artsy.

I stopped watching the Oscars years and years ago. I was tried of feeding into an overly long live TV orgy of self-masturbation. Others appear to feel the same way. Ratings have been slipping with more younger viewers fleeing to different programming.
But I suspect a good chunk of the problem is viewers simply don't care. Why should they? No one asks our opinion on best movie, actor or director. But the Hollywood Elite demands that the entire world should care about the awards they give to each other in what used to be a small privately held party.
In an attempt to "relate" to the common people out there the Academy is dragging out all the different James Bonds and the cast of the Avengers to parade on stage. But no Oscar for them please. That is so low brow.
So, since Hollywood does not care about the movies I like my boycott will continue.

Hugh Jackman is a brilliant actor. But the believable pain and suffering he brought to the screen as Wolverine or as Stanley in Swordfish is totally ignored by the phony Academy because those movies were enjoyed by the masses of movie goers. Instead he is given a Best Actor nomination when he plays a so-called "classic" character in Les Misérables.
But ignoring quality, classic acting is nothing new to the Academy. Sean Connery, one the greatest actors, was ignored in Goldfinger.
Following in Sean Connery's footsteps. The Academy also says Daniel Craig's acting is not worthy of consideration because it is enjoyed by countless millions of people. So if the Academy could care less what the public likes, why should we watch their show?
Big Brother Google spies on you for the Government
In violation of the Bill of Rights, Big Brother Government uses Google to spy on you and hand over your private information without a search warrant.
Police State - American government agencies – state, local, and federal -- made a record 13,753 requests to read emails or gather other information sent through Google’s Gmail and other services in 2012, more than half without warrants, according to statistics released by Google.
The total number of users about whom government agencies wanted information also set a record at 31,072, up from 23,300 in 2011, the first year Google began reporting the data.
The discrepancy comes because government agencies request information on multiple users or accounts at the same time.
Most of these 13,753 requests, 6,542 of 8,438 in the latter half of 2012 alone,were done without a search warrant, Google data show.
Google did not make available any detailed data prior to June 2012, nor did it make available which requests came from the federal government and which came from state or local law enforcement agencies, reports CNS News.

Google spokesman Chris Gaither said the company only started tracking which type of legal authority – subpoena, court order, or search warrant – was used in the latter half of 2012. Google issues biannual reports on the requests for user data it receives from government agencies from around the world, including ones in the U.S.
An unconstitutional Federal law allows government agencies to access Google’s archived email and other data, including chat logs, YouTube user information, voice messages, and blogger information without obtaining a search warrant or establishing probable cause, and Google says that it complies with the vast majority of government requests for data.
The federal law that allows this is known as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) which says that opened email stored remotely – not on a computer’s hard drive – can be accessed without a warrant.

The U.S. economic and systemic economic crises is just precursors to a Great Collapse: a hyperinflationary great depression. Congress has no will power to stop the spending and money printing. The fact is Congress must print and spend to keep the politicians in power though vote buying. With no changes in policy, in time there will be a complete collapse in the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar, a collapse in the normal stream of U.S. commercial and economic activity, a collapse in the U.S. financial system as we know it, and a likely realignment of the U.S. political environment.
Bankrupt sovereign states most commonly use the currency printing press as a solution to not having enough money to cover obligations. The alternative would be for the U.S. to renege on its existing debt and obligations, a solution for modern sovereign states rarely seen outside of governments overthrown in revolution, and a solution with no happier ending than simply printing the needed money.

The cumulative devaluation of the Zimbabwe dollar was such that a stack of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (26 zeros) two dollar bills (if they were printed) in the peak hyperinflation would have be needed to equal in value what a single original Zimbabwe two-dollar bill of 1978 had been worth. Such a pile of bills literally would be light years high, stretching from the Earth to the Andromeda Galaxy.

Obama sets up secret drone bases in Niger and Ethiopia

Niger to assist French forces in neighbouring Mali.
The armed troops will provide intelligence support, Obama
informed Congress on Friday. France deployed troops to Mali in January to counter al-Qaeda-linked Islamist
militants.
The US and Niger signed a status of forces agreement last month, and the US
is weighing a base for surveillance drones there, says BBC News.
A senior Niger official said in January that US Ambassador Bisa Williams
requested permission to establish a drone base in a meeting with Niger President
Mahamadou Issoufou, the Reuters news agency reported.
Last month, the US and Niger struck an agreement on the status of US forces
as the two nations "define precisely what kind of military presence we may have
in Niger in the future", a spokeswoman for the US state department said.
The new deployment of US forces are stationed in Niger with the government's
consent, Obama said in his letter to Congress.
Their mission will focus on "intelligence sharing", the president said. They
will be armed for their own protection, he said.
Niger approves construction of US spy drone base

The drone base in Niger marks the opening of another far-flung U.S. military operation against al-Qaeda and its affiliates, in addition to ongoing combat missions in Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia. The CIA is also conducting airstrikes against al-Qaeda targets in Pakistan and Yemen.
Senior U.S. officials have said for months that they would not put U.S. military “boots on the ground” in Mali, an impoverished nation that has been mired in chaos since March when a U.S.-trained Malian army captain took power in a coup. But U.S. troops are becoming increasingly involved in the conflict from the skies and the rear echelons, where they are supporting the French and African militaries seeking to stabilize the region.
Obama did not explicitly reveal the drone base in his letter to Congress, but he said the U.S. troops in Niger would “provide support for intelligence collection” and share intelligence with French forces in Mali.
A U.S. defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity to provide further details about military operations, said the 40 troops who arrived in Niger on Wednesday were almost all Air Force personnel and that their mission is to support drone flights says the Washington Post.

The introduction of Predators to Niger fills a gap in the Pentagon’s military capabilities over the Sahara, which remains beyond the reach of its drone bases in East Africa and southern Europe.
The U.S. military has been flying a handful of small turboprop surveillance planes over northern Mali and West Africa for years, but the PC-12 aircraft are limited in range and lack the sophisticated sensors that Predators carry.
U.S. military contractors have been flying PC-12 surveillance aircraft from Agadez for several months. But those planes do not carry military markings and only require a handful of people to operate.
In contrast, Predators need ground crews to launch and recover the drones as well as to repair and maintain them. Those crews, in turn, require armed personnel for protection.
The U.S. defense official said it is likely that more U.S. troops will deploy to Niger, but declined to be specific. "I think it’s safe to say the number will probably grow.”
The Predators in Niger will only conduct surveillance, not airstrikes, the official said. “This is purely an intelligence gathering mission,” he said. Other officials said the Obama administration had not ruled out arming the Predators with missiles in the future.
Information collected from reconnaissance missions will be shared with the French and other African militaries so they can attack al-Qaeda targets, officials said.
Obama noted that the government of Niger had given its consent for U.S. troops to operate on its territory.
Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world, signed an agreement with the United States last month that provides legal safeguards for U.S. forces stationed there. Nigerien officials are concerned about the spillover of violence and refugees from Mali, which have threatened to destabilize the entire region.

Comrade Obama’s drug czar told a Canadian magazine that the federal government would continue its unconstitutional war on Marijuana growers and distributors, despite the recent ballot initiatives that decriminalized marijuana usage in those states.
Gil Kerlikowske, director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, said he opposed state-based efforts to legalize marijuana. Never mind that the 10th Amendment gives states control over their own laws.
“I think a patchwork of policies would create real difficulties,” he said in an interview with Maclean’s. “I don’t see the legalization of drugs and making them widely available as a good thing.”
When asked whether drug legalization was similar to gay marriage—in that many states were passing laws in favor of it, despite continued federal opposition—Kerlikowske replied that the two issues have nothing in common.
“I don’t look at marijuana as a human right, or a civil right, or even in the same venue as gay marriage,” he said. “This is a Public Health issue.” But since when does the Federal Government become all-powerful on what are local issues under the Constitution?
Proponents of marijuana legalization argued that Colorado and Washington are doing everything they can to respect federal law while still asserting their right to treat marijuana similarly to alcohol.
“The question is whether federal officials want these states to regulate marijuana sales and bring them above board, or keep them in the underground market where they are controlled by the cartels,” wrote Mason Tvert, director of communications for the Marijuana Policy Project, in an email to The Daily Caller News Foundation. “We are hopeful [federal officials] will see the benefits of regulating marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol, and we are pleased to see the progress these two states are making toward doing just that.”
