U.S. is funding a “War Against Christianity” by sending money to Islamic countries in Middle East


Senator Rand Paul (Constitutional Federalists - Kentucky) on Thursday continued his outreach to Christian conservatives, telling a gathering of them that the United States is effectively funding wars on Christianity by sending money to nations like Egypt and Syria.

“It’s clear that American taxpayer dollars are being used in a war against Christianity,” Paul said at a luncheon hosted by the Faith and Freedom Coalition to kick off the three-day Faith and Freedom Conference.

Paul said the U.S. war in Iraq led Christians to flee a secular country that had otherwise been “a relatively safe place for Christians,” and that Christians are now being hunted in nearby nations.

“These countries are not our allies, and no amount of money is going to make them so,” Paul said. “It makes no sense. Should we be sending F-16s and tanks to Egypt when (President Mohammed) Morsi says Jews are descendants of apes and pigs?”

Paul then said that, even apart from the war on Christianity, the investments aren’t wise.

“Even if all the atrocities against Christians were not being committed, we wouldn’t have the money to be sending to these countries,” he said. “We’re borrowing money from China to send it to Pakistan.”

Caesar Obama joins with Islamist Saudi Arabia and Islamist Turkey to support the Islamist rebels in Syria's civil war.

A U.S. military proposal for arming Syrian rebels also calls for a limited no-fly zone inside Syria that would be enforced from Jordanian territory to protect Syrian refugees and rebels who would train there, according to U.S. officials.

The military envisages creating a no-fly zone stretching up to 25 miles into Syria which would be enforced using aircraft flown from Jordanian bases and flying inside the Kingdom.

In a sharp escalation of the U.S. role in Syria's bloody civil war, the White House of Caesar Obama announced late Thursday that it will provide military aid to rebels fighting to topple President Bashar al-Assad after confirming that his government used chemical weapons on the opposition.

Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications Ben Rhodes told reporters on a conference call that Caesar Barack Obama had heard pleas from Syria's rebel Supreme Military Council (SMC) for more help. "Our aim is to be responsive," Rhodes said, underlining that the new assistance would have "direct military purposes."

Rhodes brushed aside repeated questions about whether this meant Washington would now start providing weapons to the rebels, insisting he could not give an "inventory" of the aid. But while he never explicitly confirmed that Obama had decided to to arm the opposition, he left little doubt about Washington's new course of action.

"The president has made a decision about providing more support to the opposition. That will involve providing direct support to the SMC. That includes military support. I cannot detail for you all of the types of that support for a variety of reasons," Rhodes said. The assistance is "aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of the SMC on the ground."

Principal to Sabotage Naval Appointment of Valedictorian who defended the Constitution

 

Remington Reimer mentioned God and the Constitution in his speech and now his principal is threatening to ruin his Navy appointment.

Tucker Carlson reacted on Fox and Friends, saying, “The idea that you would cut off the microphone of a guy giving a speech about free speech … you really have to live in an irony-free world to do something like that.”

He added, “How dumb! […] Is that really the lesson? That if someone violates the rule then you just crush them no matter what.”

A Texas high school principal threatened to sabotage a valedictorian’s appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy after the student delivered a speech that referenced God and the U.S. Constitution, the boy's attorney has alleged.

Hiram Sasser, director of litigation with the Liberty Institute, said Joshua High School principal Mick Cochran threatened to write a letter to the U.S. Naval Academy disparaging the character of Remington Reimer.

“It was intimidating having my high school principal threaten my future because I wanted to stand up for the Constitution and acknowledge my faith and not simply read a government approved speech, the teenager said.

Sasser is now representing the teenager and is calling for the Joshua Independent School District to issue a public statement exonerating him of any wrongdoing.

He said the speech was edited and reviewed by four different school officials – including an officer in the JROTC. Sasser said the censorship violated federal and state laws.

“All he did was simply follow state law and Joshua ISD policy,” he said.

Reimer, a senior at Joshua High School, made national headlines on June 6 when officials cut off his microphone in mid-speech after he strayed from pre-approved remarks and began talking about his relationship with Jesus Christ.

The following day the principal met with Reimer’s father and informed him “that he intended to punish Remington for his perceived misdeed.”

“Specifically, he threatened to send a letter to the United States Naval Academy advising them that Remington has poor character or words to that effect,” Sasser told Fox News.

After consulting with a school attorney, the principal temporarily retracted the threat, Sasser said.

“The principal said he wanted to try to ruin him for what he did – for talking about the Constitution and his faith,” Sasser said. “I don’t know if he’s going to be able to continue to be the principal of that school.”

Republican Congressman Peter King says reporters who publish information that’s deemed classified should be punished.

King, a New York Republican, made the comment during a discussion on CNN about National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden and the information that’s been leaked to The Guardian newspaper.

“If they willingly knew that this was classified information, I think actions should be taken, especially on something of this magnitude,”   King said, as The Hill reported.

“There is an obligation both moral, but also legal, I believe, against a reporter disclosing something which would so severely compromise national security.”

King added, “Too many Republicans and conservatives have become Michael Moores, and I think it’s really dangerous to our country.”   (National Review)

King is currently chairman of the House Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence.

He didn’t detail in The Hill report what that punishment should entail. But some in Congress see  Snowden as guilty of treason.  House Speaker John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican, recently called  Snowden, a former CIA analyst, a traitor, and the Justice Department is debating whether to try to extradite him from Hong Kong, where he’s fled.

Saudis smashes 'sinful' horse statues on cleric's orders

A Religious Police State  -  Ultra-conservative Saudi Arabia has smashed sculptures of horses erected on a roundabout in the southwest after the kingdom’s top cleric denounced them as sinful, local media reported on Wednesday.

The municipality in the town of Abu Arish in Jazan province bordering Yemen demolished the statues on Tuesday, local online news website jazantoday.org reported.

The decision came after Grand Mufti Abdulaziz al-Shaikh sent a letter to the governor of Jazan demanding that “the sculptures be removed because they are a great sin and are prohibited under sharia (Islamic law),” said another news webitse, sabq.org.

Statues of people and animals are prohibited under Islam as they represent a form of idolatry. However, the religion does allow artworks depicting plants and landscapes.

Obama is collecting your DNA at police checkpoints

Cops collect DNA samples at roadblocks

The Obama regime is funding the collection of DNA at 60 police checkpoints.

What the fuck!  The Daily Caller reports that Americans driving on public streets are being herded like sheep by the police into official "checkpoints" (show us your papers!). 

While surrounded by armed officers in uniforms and bullet proof vests the motorist is asked if they want to give a "voluntary" DNA sample to Comrade Obama's National Highway Safety Administration.  And just who will be storing your DNA?  Who will have access to it?  Keep in mind this program has bipartisan funding from Congress.

Off-duty cops in two counties in Alabama spent the weekend collecting saliva and blood samples from drivers at roadblocks.


According to Lt. Freddie Turrentine with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, drivers were asked to "voluntarily" offer samples of their saliva and blood for a study being conducted by the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation.

They’ve got big signs up that says ‘paid volunteer survey’ and if they want to participate they pull over there and they ask them questions and if they are willing to give them a mouth swab they give them $10 and if they are willing to give them a blood sample they give them $50. And if they don’t do anything they drive off,” Turrentine explained to The Daily Caller.

Turrentine said that St. Clair County had five roadblocks from Friday afternoon through the early morning hours of Sunday. He added that Bibb County also had roadblocks of this kind.

Turrentine said that Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs asked the county to participate and that the Federal funding for the study is coming from Comrade Obama's National Highway Safety Administration.

“What they are trying to do is 60 sites across the country,” he said, explaining the study will be conducted from June to October and is meant to get a better understanding of inebriation patterns.

The attorney for Josh Welch, the boy who made national headlines after nibbling his pastry into a gun, said Monday that a top school official has denied an appeal to have the boy's record expunged.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the family's attorney, Robin Ficker, met with school officials last month, but no resolution was reached.

Ficker said the matter then went to the superintendent, Kevin Maxwell, whose office responded with a letter notifying the attorney that the appeal request had been denied.

Maria Miller, the Culture Secretary, has summoned the bosses of companies such as Google, Microsoft and Facebook to a summit in two weeks at which she will demand much closer industry-wide "co-operation" to prevent the uploading, downloading and sharing of "harmful" material.

The agenda will include illegal porn and material that could incite religious or racial hatred and so-called “suicide websites.”

TRANSLATION  -  Among other things, forcefully speaking out against Islam on the Internet will be targeted. The public will only be allowed to view government approved political thought and government approved images of men, women and sex.

Miller will deliver an “enough is enough” message to the Internet service providers (ISPs) and telecoms firms, rejecting the argument that their products are too complex to regulate. She will tell them that they must put aside competition to collaborate over harmful content to meet growing public concern about the issue. In a letter to ISPs and telecom firms, Miller said: “Recent horrific events have again highlighted the widespread public concern over the proliferation of, and easy access to, harmful content on the internet.” She added: “A relatively small number of organisations wield a great deal of online power - and I believe that with that power comes a great responsibility. Given the grave concerns that have been raised it is right that we now consider what more could and should be done in this area.”

The other companies asked to attend the summit are Yahoo, Twitter, BT, Virgin, TalkTalk, Vodaphone, Sky, O2, EE and Three.  Miller told them to produce new ideas “to get to grips with these pervasive and pernicious problems in all their forms.”

The Culture Secretary regards this month's summit as the start of a process, not a one-off event. She wants to work “in partnership” with the industries concerned but will keep up the pressure on them to take swift action over harmful online content in the next few months.

Sources at Google said the company would be happy to attend the Whitehall talks to explain what it was doing to tackle such problems.

The response of the Statist neo-Fascists is expected.  Senators and Congressmen like Dianne Feinstein and Lindsey Graham have openly promoted ignoring the Constitution and the Bill of Rights on multiple issues over and over again.

What bothers me is the liars like Sensenbrenner who claim they know nothing about what was going on.  Never mind that from day one civil libertarians have screamed about the Patriot Act and there have been endless newspaper, magazine and Internet articles about police state Internet spying, Federal funded domestic spy drones, and DHS funded microphones on city streets.

The big media is the lap-dog of the Washington Elites.  The Media never asks tough questions of stooges like Sensenbrenner such as:  "Gee Congressman, why are both parties voting to build a giant Data-Mining Compound in Utah if there is no spying going on?"

Funny.  You never hear those questions on TV.
