Woman arrested for ripping testicle out of scrotum


A 35-year-old Shelby, North Carolina woman is accused of squeezing a man’s testicle out of his scrotum this weekend, according to a Shelby Police report.

Police charged Joyce Maxine Gregory with malicious castration and assault inflicting serious bodily injury.

Gregory and a 59-year-old Shelby man argued early Saturday morning at a home on Bowman Street, according to a Shelby Police report. The man told police he went outside to call 911 after the confrontation.

The man said Gregory came outside and grabbed him by his scrotum before he was able to jerk away from her grip, the report states. Then, the man walked to the Shelby Rescue Squad building for help. He was taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A hospital urologist told police stitches could repair the man’s injury, according to the report.   (whptv. CBS News)



Man Bit Off Large Chunk Of Victim's Face

From the Zombie Apocalypse news desk comes word of the arrest of a Louisiana man who bit off a chunk of the face of a victim whom he allegedly battered during a bloody attack Saturday.

According to cops, Carl Jacquneaux, 42, attacked Todd Credeur outside the victim’s home in Scott, a city in Lafayette Parish. After punching Credeur in the face, Jacquneaux but  the 48-year-old victim in the face, “removing a large amount of flesh,” police reported.   (The Smoking Gun)


Man threatens to eat cop

If imitation is the highest form of flattery, then Rudy Eugene, the Miami cannibal who chewed off a homeless man’s face while reportedly high on bath salts, has an admirer in his own neighborhood.

Brandon De Leon, 21, was arrested Saturday after getting into a fight at a local Boston Market and resisting arrest, but his threat to eat a Miami police officer followed by his attempt to bite the officer have raised more concern following the recent act of cannibalism in the Miami area that has made international headlines.

Woman bites shop owner and spits his flesh in his face

A woman accused of stealing a wig from a beauty shop in New Haven is also accused of biting the store owner as well as the police officers who arrested her.

The store owner and his 70-year-old father pursued her, police said, and the woman fought back.

Police said she punched both men in the face and the bit the store owner’s bicep, taking a chunk of flesh from his arm and then spit it in his face, police said.   (NBC News)

Many animal lovers find it hard to part with their pets when they die.

So when cat Orville, named after the famous aviator Orville Wright, was run over by a car, his artist owner decided to turn him into a permanent piece of artwork as the ultimate tribute by transforming him into a flying helicopter.

Dutch artist Bart Jansen first stuffed Orville before teaming up with radio control helicopter flyer Arjen Beltman to build a specially-designed flying mechanism to attach to the cat.

The end result, named the Orvillecopter, is now on show at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam where visitors can watch Orville flying for themselves.

Jansen said the Orvillecopter is 'half cat, half machine', and part of a visual art project to pay tribute to his cat Orville.

Jansen, part of the art cooperative Generaal Pardon, said: 'After a period of mourning he received his propellers posthumously.'

He added that Orville will soon be 'flying with the birds' stating: 'Oh how he loved birds. He will receive more powerful engines and larger props for his birthday. So this hopping will soon change into steady flight.'

Woman kills man by squeezing his testicles over parking dispute


A female scooter rider killed a man by squeezing his testicles for a parking dispute, in Haikou City, Hainan Province.

It was learned, the woman, 41 years old, rode on her scooter to an elementary school in Meilan District, Haikou City to pick up her child that day. When she wanted to pack her scooter in front of a shop, she was rejected by the shop owner, a 42-year-old male.

The two parties soon fell into a quarrel, and then the physical confrontation. The furious woman called up her husband and brother to come help her, which resulted in a more violent fist fight.

During the fight, the middle aged woman manged to grab the man’s testicles, and squeezed them till he finally collapsed on the ground.

The man was immediately rushed to hospital, but unfortunately died there despite of efforts.   (China Daily)

Slavery returns to Brazil

The Ministry of Labor has done almost nothing to assign responsibility for slavery cases in such farms to the pig-iron producers, as the charcoal is produced exclusively to supply these extremely profitable companies.

In 2003 the International Labor Organization estimated that 25,000 Brazilians were  working in conditions it described as slavery.  Other groups put the number today at 250,000.

Luis Machado, head of the ILO's unit to combat forced labor agrees the numbers have grown, reports the Los Angeles Times.

"Over 40,000 workers have been rescued since 1995," he said. "But not one single person in the history of Brazil has been jailed for this crime. These men feel untouchable. They feel they are risking nothing by doing this."

Tens of thousands of Brazilians living in what critics call modern-day slavery, mostly in the Amazon jungle, where ranch owners are the law of the land.

Promised work, the victims are usually taken to remote, unfamiliar areas, where they face harsh conditions they would never have agreed to and have little chance of escape.

Some receive little or no pay. Others are told they must work to pay off "debts" for room and board. Some are threatened with violence or abused. Others simply cannot afford the journey home.

Leftist idiot local government worker drones (backed by elected officials) have found a way to steal private property without actually stealing it.  They simply use zoning laws, government licenses and building permits to keep a property owner from ever opening a business . . . with no business allowed your private property becomes worthless.

Ventura County in California has found a way around this limit by using zoning regulations to make it so prohibitively difficult for businesses to exist that the owners just pack up and leave of their own volition. This video from Reason Magazine explains the extremely sleazy approach involved:

In the northernmost reaches of California's Ventura County, a two-lane rural road called Highway 33 runs into the rugged and mostly undeveloped Transverse Mountain Range. Though it's mostly raw wilderness, a few businesses catering to adventurous explorers have long existed there, some for more than a century.

But now the local government is shutting those businesses down, one by one, using arcane zoning and building-code laws to get the job done. 

"If there isn't someone complaining, and there isn't really a serious public health and safety issue, why do they spend so much of their time pursuing these kinds of cases?" asks Lynne Jensen, executive director of the Ventura County Coalition of Labor and Business (COLAB).

Tom Wolf owns the Pine Mountain Inn, a restaurant that's been serving biker groups and local community organizations since the 1930s. Wolf temporarily had to shut the doors when he suffered a heart attack in 2002, and he was never able to reopen when the county informed him that his property had been rezoned as an "Open Space" back in the 1980s without his knowledge.

(EDITOR'S  NOTE:  While these property owners and businessmen were being totally fucked over, the so-called "small government" Republican Party is nowhere to be found.  Local GOP elected officials ran for the hills rather than stand up publicly side-by-side with these business owners.  This video had to be made by the Libertarian Reason TV think tank.  I guess it was too much work for Republicans to get off their Statist asses and defend common people.  If the GOP wonders why they are a minority they need only look in the mirror.)

"[The county] wanted everybody out of here," says Wolf. "And they wanted a complete open space with nothing but deer and frogs... and no people."

No matter how hard Wolf tried to comply with the ever-changing codes, the county just wouldn't relent, at one time even ordering him to remove a chicken coop that had never actually existed on the property.

Wolf isn't alone, says Jensen. Several other small businesses along Highway 33 have been hit by multiple county agencies for no apparent reason.

"They had every department hit us with violations to make sure that they shut us down," says April Hope, who, along with her husband Bob, owns a bed and breakfast called The Wheel, which has existed in the area since the 1890s.

Since the Hopes purchased The Wheel in early 2000, they've never been able to open it to the public. While officials from the county supervisor's office and the planning department refused to speak with ReasonTV for this story, Jensen says that the county is using code enforcement to drive these businesses off the land without compensation.

"This rezoning is really a way to get around eminent domain, because eminent domain means you give up your entire property. And here, you only give up part of your rights," says Jensen. 

Invoking eminent domain to seize private property would not only require the county to compensate landowners, but also to demonstrate that the taking served a "public use." 

"They have been very successful in taking people's property in a number of different ways without compensation as long as they don't take ownership of it," says Jensen.      (Infowars.com)

Unofficial returns from Tuesday's election in the 21st Senate District showed Democratic challenger John Lehman leading incumbent Republican Sen. Van Wanggaard by less than 800 votes with all precincts reporting. Democrats needed Lehman to win to gain a one-seat majority in the Senate and save at least some face after Republicans easily turned back five other recall bids reports Real Clear Politics.

Lehman, who held the seat until Wanggaard defeated him in 2010, was quick to declare the grudge match a victory. Democratic Senate Leader Mark Miller, meanwhile, issued a statement declaring himself the new majority leader.

"We have won, yeah," Lehman said Wednesday. "We're happy to have prevailed."

Democrats and their allies ousted two GOP senators in recall elections last summer. Over the winter they gathered more than enough signatures from the public to force Walker, Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and four more GOP senators, including Wanggaard, into Tuesday's recalls.

One of the four senators, Pam Galloway of Wausau, quit her post ahead of the elections rather than campaign. Her resignation left the Senate divided evenly between Republicans and Democrats, 16-16, and gave Democrats hope of taking the chamber back. A Vietnamese court dismissed the appeals of two activists against jail terms imposed on them for spreading “anti-government propaganda,” despite calls for their unconditional release by international rights groups.

Female blogger Ho Thi Bich Khuong, 44, was sentenced to five years in prison and three years of house arrest while Pastor Nguyen Trung Ton, 40, was given two years in jail and two more under house arrest. Both their sentences were meted out last December reports Radio Free Asia.

The two had been arrested on November 15 for violating article 88 of Vietnam’s penal code, which forbids “conducting propaganda against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam,” state media said at the time.

Khuong was also accused of slandering the Vietnamese government in interviews with foreign radio stations and of belonging to rights groups with “reactionary” people.

Agence France Presse quoted an official at the court in central Nghe An province who confirmed the rejection of the appeals after a half-day hearing.

"The prison sentences of Ho Thi Bich Khuong and Nguyen Trung Ton were upheld on appeal this morning," the official said on condition of anonymity.

Beaten and tortured by Communists

In a statement released ahead of the appeal hearing, HRW called on the Vietnamese government to free Khuong, who says she was beaten and tortured in jail.

“For the third time in seven years, Ho Thi Bich Khuong is in prison for exercising the right to voice her views,” said Phil Robertson, deputy Asia director at HRW.

“The systematic application of article 88 to arbitrarily punish bloggers and critics shows that Vietnam’s disrespect for freedom of expression continues unabated.”

Khuong was previously jailed for two years in 2008 after being convicted of “abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the state.” She was also imprisoned for six months in 2005 for “disrupting public order” under article 245 after filing complaints to the central government against the confiscation of her shops by local authorities.

Robertson also called on the Vietnamese government to investigate allegations by Khuong of most recently being beaten several times by another prisoner while guards looked away and by investigation police during pre-trial detention for one of her earlier jail terms. 

“Police continue to systematically torture people in pre-trial detention,” said Robertson.

D-Day - The unnecessary battle

D-Day, June 6, 1944  -  An unnecessary political battle that never needed to be fought.

• Major strategic mistakes were made by the Allied political leadership.
• Allied troops never needed to set foot on the meat-grinder beaches of Normandy.
• Instead of Italy, Greece should have been invaded to win the war and save Eastern Europe from the Communism of the Soviet Union.

Here we have another anniversary that is rightfully dedicated to the brave men who fought and died for their countries in Normandy, France.

But as a frustrated military historian I cannot help point out that the D-Day invasion never needed to happen.  Because of massively stupid political decisions the Allied military was sent into Italy and Normandy.

Leftist fantasyland thinking by President Franklin Roosevelt was responsible for the poor decisions.  Roosevelt saw Russian Communism as just another version of the Democratic Party:

Now there is a brain dead liberal for you.  The clueless leaders of the United States were sending troops into Normandy and Italy for political reasons, not military reasons.  We did not want to upset our friends the Russians.  These political choices had little impact on the war and would have near zero political impact on a post-war Europe, but those decisions managed to kill thousands of soldiers.

April 1944  -  The Soviet Union had already won the war

So-called "popular" history says the Normandy landings signaled the "beginning of the end" for Nazi Germany.  Popular history is often wrong.  It is arguable that Germany had already been defeated by the Soviet Union because of its huge losses on the Eastern Front.

Simply, the German Army had been totally gutted at the 1942 Battle of Stalinlgrad.  When you add in the massive 1943 German defeats at Smolensk and Kursk the war was effectively over.

From October 1943 on the German military was in total collapse.  Unable to put up a fight or run fast enough to get away from the rapidly advancing Russians.
.
The Allied invasion at Normandy was to get boots on the ground before the Russians managed to liberate Paris.
.
Even after Nomandy the Russian front was where the action was.  The American historian Jeffrey Herf wrote that, "Whereas German deaths between 1941 and 1943 on the western front had not exceeded 3 percent of the total from all fronts, in 1944 the figure jumped to about 14 percent. Yet even in the months following D-day, about 68.5 percent of all German battlefield deaths occurred on the eastern front, as a Soviet blitzkrieg in response devastated the retreating Wehrmacht".

The Invasion of Greece that never happened  -  One had only to look at a map to see invading Normandy and Italy were bad calls.  Bad calls that is if you were an anti-Communist.  If you were friendly to Socialism and Communism like FDR then you had no problem with Uncle Joe Stalin and his merry band of Communists armies "liberating" Eastern Europe.

For a believer in Freedom and an anti-Communist, instead of invading Italy one would have put the major Allied military resources into an invasion of Greece using Sicily, British Egypt and Malta as bases.
.
The huge multi-national Allied army that invaded Italy in September, 1943 would have easily liberated Greece considering the Germans on the Eastern Front were in total collapse.  Then the Allies marching at the side of the Russian armies would have liberated the Balkans and marched on to Vienna, Budapest and Berlin.
.
The invasion of Normandy and the 210,000 casualties incurred was not needed.  Just having an army in Britain would have pinned down the German troops.  The Germans could not withdraw their forces.  Once the German collapse was even further along additional landings could have been made in the south of France forcing what was left of the Germans to pull out of Normandy to meet the Allies down south.

But these are all historical "what ifs".  The facts are political decisions made us cave to the Communists and give them Eastern Europe.  Those political decisions in turn brought huge numbers of unneeded deaths of Allied troops in Italy and Normandy.   

April 1944  -  The total collapse of Nazi Germany.
Before a single Allied soldier set foot in Normandy, World War II was effectively over.

The Soviet Union had won the war at the Battles of Stalingrad (1942), Kursk and Smolensk (both 1943).  From October,1943 on it was simply a foot race to see how fast the Germans could run away from the Russians.  The only real challenge for the Russians was being able to move troops West as fast as the Germans could retreat.
.
Before Normandy the Russians were already pushing into Romania and Poland.  The march to Berlin was well under way and from a military point of view the invasion of Normandy was not needed.

The meetings not only betrayed Poland but gave the Communist Soviet Union a military and political free hand in Eastern Europe.  If the Allies had invaded in Greece rather than in Italy the entire history of post World War II Europe would have been different.

Riot police retaliated with tear gas grenades and baton charges as they desperately tried to bring the situation under control. Around 8,000 mineworkers from over 40 coal mines in northern Spain are staging a nationwide strike organised by unions bitterly opposed to reductions in coal subsidies from €300 million to €110 million.

Spain's economy is crisis having contracted for the second time since late 2009. Four years of stagnation and recession have pushed unemployment to above 24 per cent, the highest rate in the European Union.

Things are getting stranger and stranger in Southeast Asia.  The growth in the Communist Chinese economy, the Chinese military and their push into the South China Sea for oil has set off a wave of nations re-adjusting their alliances.


U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta visited Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam this last week. This was a former port used by U.S. forces in the Vietnam War and could play a pivotal role in the American military's shift towards the Asia-Pacific.

Panetta's visit to Cam Ranh Bay was the first by a Pentagon chief since the end of the Vietnam War in 1975, and the highly symbolic trip reflected Washington's efforts to deepen ties with its former enemy as it seeks to counter China's growing power.

"Access for US naval ships into this facility is a key component of this relationship and we see a tremendous potential here," he told reporters on the deck of the USNS Richard E. Byrd, an American naval cargo ship currently at the port.

With new plans to shift the majority of the U.S. naval fleet to the Pacific by 2020, Panetta described the deep-water harbour as strategically vital.

Vietnam  -  The U.S. and Vietnam signed a memorandum on defense cooperation last year and Panetta met with high-ranking Vietnamese officials, including the defense minister, in Hanoi during his two-day visit to discuss how to fulfill the agreement.

Cam Rahn Bay is one the region's best natural harbours and the United States sees it an ideal spot to bolster an American naval presence in the contested South China Sea.

Vietnam recently started allowing foreign navies, including the United States, to use Cam Rahn Bay to resupply and undergo repairs. But the number of visits per year is restricted, and US commanders would like to have expanded access to the harbour, possibly including warships, analysts say.

Panetta's trip reflected the transformation of US relations with Vietnam as well as a growing rivalry between China and the United States, with the South China Sea at the centre of the competition.

Philippines  -  Oil.  Oil.  And more oil in the South China Sea.  And China wants every damn drop.  With that in mind talks of broadening military cooperation with the Philippines have been under way since last year. Comrade Barack Obama's regime has announced a strategic "pivot" toward the Asia-Pacific region.

In November Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Manila and proclaimed continued military support from the deck of a warship.

The Philippines, which kicked U.S. forces bases off their soil in 1992, expects a "greater number" of United States warships to visit the country as Washington increases its military presence in Asia in the coming years, Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Cambodia  -  Chinese defense minister signs a military agreement with Cambodia. China will establish a military training facility in Cambodia and provide other defense aid to its Southeast Asian ally in agreements struck during a visit last week by the Chinese defense minister Liang Guanglie to Phnom Penh.

Under an agreement signed on Monday by Liang and his Cambodian counterpart Tea Banh, Beijing will provide its southern neighbor with U.S. $17 million in military aid and construct a military training facility in the country.  Tea Banh called the bilateral agreement “extremely important” for Cambodia in a press briefing in Phnom Penh after the signing ceremony.

“The Chinese minister has agreed to accept Cambodian military officers for military training in China and also to train as instructors,” Tea Banh added.  “China will also assist by providing medical supplies for the Cambodian military,” he said.

Tea Banh said Liang's visit was beneficial to strengthening relations between the two countries across all sectors, but particularly in terms of military ties.

He called Chinese assistance a “great contribution to improving the Cambodian army's capacity in national defense."

Drugs are Big Business for International Bankers.
Wachovia Bank recently completed what amounted to a year-long probation arising from a settlement deal with Federal prosecutors who were pursuing criminal proceedings against Wachovia for its facilitating of illegal money transfers from Mexico totaling $378-billion…a staggering sum greater than half of the Pentagon's annual budget, which included billions of dollars traced directly to violent Mexican drug cartels.

The vast profits made from drug production and trafficking are overwhelmingly reaped in rich "consuming" countries – principally across Europe and in the US – rather than war-torn "producing" nations such as Colombia and Mexico, new research has revealed. And its authors claim that financial regulators in the west are reluctant to go after western banks in pursuit of the massive amount of drug money being laundered through their systems.

The most far-reaching and detailed analysis to date of the drug economy in any country – in this case, Colombia – shows that 2.6% of the total street value of cocaine produced remains within the country, while a staggering 97.4% of profits are reaped by criminal syndicates, and laundered by banks, in first-world consuming countries reports the UK Guardian.

"The story of who makes the money from Colombian cocaine is a metaphor for the disproportionate burden placed in every way on 'producing' nations like Colombia as a result of the prohibition of drugs," said one of the authors of the study, Alejandro Gaviria, launching its English edition last week.

"Colombian society has suffered to almost no economic advantage from the drugs trade, while huge profits are made by criminal distribution networks in consuming countries, and recycled by banks which operate with nothing like the restrictions that Colombia's own banking system is subject to."

His co-author, Daniel Mejía, added: "The whole system operated by authorities in the consuming nations is based around going after the small guy, the weakest link in the chain, and never the big business or financial systems where the big money is.

"The mechanisms of laundering drug money were highlighted in theObserver last year after a rare settlement in Miami between US federal authorities and the Wachovia bank, which admitted to transferring $110m of drug money into the US, but failing to properly monitor a staggering $376 billion brought into the bank through small exchange houses in Mexico over four years. (Wachovia has since been taken over by Wells Fargo, which has co-operated with the investigation.)

But no one went to jail, and the bank is now in the clear. "Overall, there's great reluctance to go after the big money," said Mejía. "They don't target those parts of the chain where there's a large value added. In Europe and America the money is dispersed – once it reaches the consuming country it goes into the system, in every city and state. They'd rather go after the petty economy, the small people and coca crops in Colombia, even though the economy is tiny."

With Britain having overtaken the US and Spain as the world's biggest consumer of cocaine per capita, the Wachovia investigation showed much of the drug money is also laundered through the City of London.     (UK Guardian)
