Ramaswamy Vows To ‘Shut Down The Three-letter Agencies’
“My core platform is to get in there and shut down the administrative deep state”
- - - Vivek Ramaswamy
EDITOR - The DeSantis campaign committed suicide. But Vivek is looking good. At least he is taking my line of ABOLISHING government agencies.
(Summit News) Republican Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy vowed Sunday that if elected his priority will be to “clean house, shut down the FBI, refurbish the DOJ.”
“My core platform is to get in there and shut down the administrative deep state, the three-letter agencies, the regulatory state that is a threat to our constitutional republic, from the FBI, to the IRS, to the ATF, to the U.S. Department of Education,” Ramaswamy said during a Fox news interview.
He continued, “that is our ticket to not only restoring the integrity of our government, but also to stimulating the economy, because those three-letter agencies are actually the source of the unconstitutional federal regulations that act like a wet blanket on businesses both large and small in our economy.”
Ramaswamy added that “these things go hand in glove together to be able to both restore the integrity of our constitutional republic by getting rid of that fourth branch while also stimulating the economy in the process.”

GOP Supreme Court Abolishes The Bill of Rights
In a unanimous decision, the US Supreme Court ruled last week that it’s legal for the IRS to secretly obtain the bank records of third parties who are not under investigation, when seeking a summons for banking records believed to be relevant to the tax delinquency of another person.
The new ruling gives the IRS “startlingly broad authority to pry into the financial records of people who may be only remotely connected to a delinquent taxpayer,” according to one lawyer briefed on the decision, the Epoch Times reports.
The ruling, a victory for the Biden administration, came after the administration’s attempts to strengthen IRS enforcement efforts became an issue in the midterm congressional elections. The Inflation Reduction Act, which President Joe Biden signed into law in August 2022, allocated almost $80 billion to the IRS to hire an extra 87,000 agents. Democrats say the IRS has long been underfunded, but Republicans say the extra money will be used to harass taxpayers.
At oral arguments on March 29 the justices had seemed sympathetic to the claim of the wife of a man who owed substantial taxes that the IRS went too far in pursuing her bank records without prior notice. At the same time, they acknowledged the agency needs effective tools to attempt to collect delinquent accounts. -Epoch Times
In the court’s May 18 opinion, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in Polselli v. IRS (court file 21-1599) sided with the Biden administration, which argued that the IRS does not need to provide notice to third parties, and that having to do so would give delinquent taxpayers “a head start in hiding assets.”
“Congress has given the IRS considerable power to go after unpaid taxes,” wrote Roberts.

IRS Deploys Armed Gestapo Agents
(Gateway Pundit) A job listing on the IRS website revealed that the organization is still trying to hire armed, arrest-authorized “special agents” or criminal investigators in all 50 states.
“WE’RE HIRING SPECIAL AGENTS NOW!” states the IRS website in all caps.
“As a Special Agent you will combine your accounting skills with law enforcement skills to investigate financial crimes. Special Agents are duly sworn law enforcement officers who are trained to “follow the money.” No matter what the source, all income earned, both legal and illegal, has the potential of becoming involved in crimes which fall within the investigative jurisdiction of the IRS Criminal Investigation. Because of the expertise required to conduct these complex financial investigations, IRS Special Agents are considered the premier financial investigators for the Federal government,” according to the agency.
Below are the “Major Duties:”
- Adhere to the highest standards of conduct, especially in maintaining honesty and integrity.
- Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, which may include irregular hours, and be on-call 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
- Maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life-threatening situations on the job.

- Carry a firearm; must be prepared to protect him/herself or others from physical attacks at any time and without warning and use firearms in life-threatening situations; must be willing to use force up to and including the use of deadly force.
The agency is hiring at least 360 armed agents in 249 locations around the country, according to the job posting.

IRS to Set Up ‘Centralized Office’ for 87,000 New Agents
The Internal Revenue Service will establish a centralized office to implement elements of the tax and spending bill that President Joe Biden signed last week, including almost 87,000 new IRS agents, the agency’s chief says.
Democrats’ bill, which passed the Senate and House without a single Republican vote, provides $80 billion to the Internal Revenue Service, largely to pay for the 87,000 new agents through 2031.
In an email message Friday to all IRS employees, a copy of which was obtained by The Daily Signal, IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig wrote: “This is a historic time for the IRS, and we are working to move quickly to begin work on the Inflation Reduction Act signed into law earlier this week.”
Rettig wrote:
A key part of our efforts will be the creation of a new, centralized office for implementation of all IRS-related provisions. Building off our successes implementing other major legislative bills, the IRA 2022 Transformation & Implementation Office will work across the IRS and oversee our implementation efforts.
The bill that passed the House and Senate on party-line votes allocates $79.6 billion to expanding the IRS to boost revenue to pay for Democrats’ pet programs.
Estimates show that 57.3% of the Treasury Department’s estimated 86,852 new IRS agents—or fewer than 50,000—would be assigned to tax enforcement.

Democrats Are "Coming After Middle-Class Hard-Working Americans" - Tulsi Gabbard Warns
The Last Honest Democrat
Tulsi Gabbard unleashes a torrent of facts in what most on the left in Washington would call 'conspiracy theory' and 'hate speech' pointing out the fact that everything from the IRS to the Department of Homeland Security is "blatantly being weaponized to target political opponents of those in power and anyone who dares to dissent or question or challenge their actions and policies."
By way of example, Gabbard notes that with regard to the massive increase in the size of the IRS, the messaging from Democrats is 'this will only apply to to the wealthy'. Well, as Gabbard points out, "that's only 1-2% of all taxpayers, so why in the world do they need $80 billion and 87,000 new hires in order to go after 1-2% of taxpayers?"
Simply put, she explains, "their math absolutely does not add up," which she says "should be frightening and concerning" to all Americans, because "this means, they're coming after us - the entrepreneurs, small business owners, and the middle class hard-working Americans."
As Gabbard points out, "it's not a 'theory' that the IRS will abuse its power to go after political opponents, we have already seen them do it."
51% of all IRS audits last year were for those who earned less than $75,000.

Millions of stimulus checks sent to wrong bank accounts
(NY Post) - The Internal Revenue Service sent millions of Americans’ stimulus checks to the wrong bank accounts, tax preparers say — a mistake the feds are now trying to fix.
The agency “inadvertently sent payments to over 13 million bank accounts that are no longer open or valid,” forcing affected banks to return the money to the US Treasury, according to tax-preparation service Jackson Hewitt.
The estimate is the latest sign that the IRS’ rollout of the $600 coronavirus relief payments suffered from a large-scale glitch as the agency worked to distribute the money by Jan. 15.
The IRS said Friday that it’s working to get the misplaced funds into Americans’ correct bank accounts. That marks a shift from earlier this week, when officials indicated that unlucky taxpayers would have to claim the payments on their 2020 tax returns later this year.

Court orders IRS to fess up about seized properties
(WND) - A federal appeals court has ordered the Internal Revenue Service to provide information about the properties it seizes.
The ruling came in a lawsuit by the Institute for Justice seeking information about the IRS forfeiture program, including what properties it takes and what it does with them.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, unanimously siding with IJ, said the IRS cannot deliberately frustrate Freedom of Information Act requests by quibbling over immaterial technicalities.
"The court also ruled that the IRS must put the effort into determining which records are public, rather than applying blanket exemptions to whole swaths of data that may or may not be exempt from disclosure," IJ said.
Kentucky man battles against asset forfeiture laws
The case began in 2015 when IJ sought records from the IRS regarding its "Asset Forfeiture Tracking and Retrieval System."
First, the IRS tried to charge IJ more than $750,000 in fees for its requested information.
But IJ sued, and the agency reversed its decision and then claimed AFTRAK "is not actually a database and therefore cannot possibly contain records."
The agency then produced one standard forfeiture report that was 99% blacked out.
But at the 2nd Circuit, Senior Circuit Judge Williams scolded the agency for its tactics.
"A request certainly should not fail where the agency knew or should have known what the requestor was seeking all along," he found.
He said the IRS will have to turn over all the data the IRS possesses that falls within the request.

- You might as well have Nancy Pelosi in charge of Congress. The GOP "leadership" is a steaming pile of lying crap.
- The House could have held IRS impeachment hearings long, long ago. But I think the Establishment GOP had no problem with Comrade Obama's IRS targeting that pesky Tea Party. After all, "crazy" Constitutionalists only cause trouble for the corrupt Elites of both parties.
- Now the GOP will hold "pretend" impeachment hearings that will go nowhere.

GOP gives IRS the power to take your passport
- The Big Government loving GOP wants to give the IRS the brand new power to yank your passport without any court order or hearing before a judge.
- I will be long dead in my grave before I see the flat income tax enacted by the big government loving Republican Party. Both the GOP and the Dems want the income tax in order to extort campaign cash from groups in society.
By Congressman Ron Paul
A little-noticed provision in the highway funding bill Congress passed this week threatens a right most Americans take for granted: the right to travel abroad. The provision in question gives the Internal Revenue Service the authority to revoke the passport of anyone the IRS claims owes more than $50,000 in back taxes.
