Throwing Snowballs Has Been Made Illegal

Retard Alert
“The kind of man who wants the government to adopt and enforce his ideas is always the kind of man whose ideas are idiotic.”
― H.L. Mencken

Wisconsin may be a winter wonderland this time of year, but for those in the town of Wausau who plan on fashioning the freshly fallen snow into snowballs to hurl at other people, you can forget it.

The town of Wausau, Wisconsin, has outlawed the throwing of snowballs, “in the interest of public safety.”

“No person shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, snowball or other missile or projectile, by hand or by any other means, at any other person,” says the Wausau municipal code, under the “Weapons” heading in the section dealing with “Peace, Safety, and Morals.”

“It’s really in the interest of public safety,” Wausau Mayor Robert B. Mielke told WCCO.

“A lot of it is just consideration and common sense. You don’t throw stuff at people, period.”

Mielke says that the proposal to ban snowballs was brought forth years ago, after some issues developed involving projectiles. However, police told WCCO that they could not recall issuing a fine for the throwing of a snowball.

The ordinance specifies that snowballs cannot be thrown “at, in or into any building, street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, playground or other public place within the city.”

Obama gave $10 Billion plus in gold, cash to Iran

We Are Ruled Over By Idiots
"On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

(Washington Free Beacon)  -  The Obama administration has paid Iran more than $10 billion in gold, cash, and other assets since 2013, according to Iranian officials, who disclosed that the White House has been intentionally deflating the total amount paid to the Islamic Republic.
Senior Iranian officials late last week confirmed reports that the total amount of money paid to Iran over the past four years is in excess of $10 billion, a figure that runs counter to official estimates provided by the White House.
The latest disclosure by Iran, which comports with previous claims about the Obama administration obfuscating details about its cash transfers to Iran—including a $1.7 billion cash payment included in a ransom to free Americans—sheds further light on the White House’s back room dealings to bolster Iran’s economy and preserve the Iran nuclear agreement.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi confirmed last week a recent report in the Wall Street Journal detailing some $10 billion in cash and assets provided to Iran since 2013, when the administration was engaging in sensitive diplomacy with Tehran aimed at securing the nuclear deal.
Ghasemi disclosed that the $10 billion figure just scratches the surface of the total amount given to Iran by the United States over the past several years.
“I will not speak about the precise amount,” Ghasemi was quoted as saying in Persian language reports independently translated for the Washington Free Beacon.
The $10 billion figure is actually a “stingy” estimate, Ghasemi claimed, adding that a combination of cash, gold, and other assets was sent by Washington to Iran’s Central Bank and subsequently “spent.”
“This report is true but the value was higher,” Ghassemi was quoted as saying.

U.S. House National Totals by Party, 2016

"Corruptus in Extremis"
Free Elections
Maybe We Should Try Them in America

  • Yes we had what passes for an "election". And once again the same two Open Borders, Wall Street funded parties magically won 100% of all seats. Amazing . . . and we lie to ourselves that we have "free" elections.
  • The U.S. is the only nation on earth with only two political parties winning all seats. Every other nation has multiple parties in their legislatures from Israel to Brazil to Japan to Australia.
  • While two parties always had an advantage, the U.S. used to be a Multi-Party Republic in Congressional elections. It can be that way again with election reform. Freedom. Maybe we should try it again.

(Ballot Access News)  -  All state election returns (except for write-ins in a few cases) are now official.
Below are the national totals for each party for U.S. House for the November 8, 2016 election:
Republican 62,589,781
Democratic 61,584,781
Libertarian 1,712,061

Conservative of New York 336,572
Working Families 278,171
Independence of New York 92,107

American of South Carolina 19,606
Working Class of Michigan 18,018
Independent Green 12,866

If anyone sees any error, please contact me at richardwinger@yahoo.com, or leave a comment. If anyone is aware of any other individual or group that has also compiled this data, please inform me. The author of America Votes, Rhodes Cook, will be compiling this data but not for some time yet. Eventually two federal agencies, the Federal Election Commission and the Clerk of the U.S. House, will compile it, but not for many months yet. I will furnish the state-by-state totals to anyone who asks.
UPDATE: figures have been revised to correct a Delaware error. Thanks to Greg Koza for that.

Christian funeral homes need transgender undertakers says Obama

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder

  • I have a lot of libertarianism in me. But a new low has been reached when Leftist scum Democrats force grieving families to be served by dress wearing transgender undertakers.

DETROIT (Life Site News) – The Obama administration has been handed a significant legal loss, as a federal judge ruled that it could not force a Christian business owner to employ a transgender man who dresses as a woman. The judge's decision also questioned the administration’s reason for filing the lawsuit.
The Obama administration’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) sued a Detroit-area funeral home that would not allow an undertaker to dress as a woman while interacting with grieving customers.
In 2006, R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home in Garden City hired Anthony Stephens as an undertaker. As part of the process, he agreed to abide by its dress code of white shirts and dark suits for men.
But in July 2013, Stephens wrote a letter to his employer saying that he would begin dressing as a female at work and would now be known by the name Aimee. He was subsequently fired.
The EEOC said that action violated the 1964 Civil Rights Act’s prohibition of sex discrimination, “because the employee does not conform to the employer's expectations or stereotypes regarding how someone 'born’ that sex should live or look.”
U.S. District Judge Sean Cox noted, “Significantly, neither transgender status nor gender identity are protected classes under Title VII” of the act.
Instead the EEOC had violated the owner’s religious liberty, Judge Cox, a 2006 George W. Bush appointee, wrote in a 56-page ruling on Thursday.
He wrote, while the government would likely prevail on the Title VII case due to subsequent case law that went beyond the law’s wording, it violated the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) and ignored the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Hobby Lobby decision.
The funeral home’s majority owner, Thomas Rost, said in an affidavit that allowing a man to dress as a woman in his business would violate God’s commandments, because he “would be directly involved in supporting the idea that sex is a changeable social construct rather than an immutable, God-given gift.”
Rost, who was once a Baptist deacon and sits on the board of the Detroit Salvation Army, said if he were forced to comply, he would “feel significant pressure to sell” his business and give up his “life’s calling.”
RFRA requires the government to use the least restrictive means possible. “The EEOC has not even discussed the possibility of any such accommodation or less restrictive means as applied to this case,” Judge Cox wrote.

Ben Carson offered money to drop out

"Corruptus in Extremis"

  • INSANE!!!  Now they are trying to fix the Presidential elections by offering to pay Ben Carson to drop out.

(The Dallas Morning News)  -  Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson told supporters Saturday in Irving that he has heard plenty of calls to drop out of the Republican presidential primary.
Some “special interests” have even made personal appeals to him, he said.
“I’ve got unanswered calls on my phone right now, ‘Oh, if you did this or did this, and did this, or if you drop out and support this guy, we’ll give you all this money and we’ll make sure you’re a senator here,’” Carson said. “What a bunch of crap. This is about saving our nation. This is not about horse-trading and making deals.”
Carson told a reporter afterward that he wasn’t going to say who called him, but said his reaction is those people can “go jump in a lake.”
The one-time Iowa frontrunner vowed to fight on days before the Texas primary, where polls show him in a battle with Ohio Gov. John Kasich for a distant fourth place in a field of five contenders. And in his speech at the Northeast Tarrant County Tea Party event, Carson continued to zig as his Republican rivals zag.
While Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and business mogul Donald Trump have traded insults, Carson said he didn’t think it was a good idea to criticize of his fellow Republicans and invoked his faith at every turn.
Carson said he doesn’t think the other candidates talk enough about the $19 trillion national debt. He said that he was “very disappointed in the so-called debate”  Thursday night in Houston.

“We’re just trying to entertain people,” Carson said. “It reminds me so much of ancient Rome — everyone wants to go to the Coliseum and somebody stabs someone with a sword and they go, ‘Yeah, this is great.’ And a tiger tears somebody’s head off, and they go, ‘Ah, this is wonderful.’ And nobody is paying attention to the crumbling society around them.”

Top Races in 2016: The Plains States & Mountain Region

Utah GOP Rep. Mia Love is running against the Democrat Congressman she defeated in 2014.

Roaring on to November

  • My quandary:  The Democrats are fucking Marxists and the Big Government loving Republicans are open borders whores for Wall Street. I am a man without a party.
  • Following these races is like watching a football game when you hate both teams.

(Roll Call)  -  Here is a look at the most competitive House and Senate races in 2016. The Plains Region covers Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Iowa 3rd District:
Democrats are targeting freshman Rep. David Young, but the congressman’s district isn’t as favorable for a challenge as GOP Rep. Rod Blum’s 1st District. Obama won the 3rd with 51 percent in 2012 and 52 percent in 2008.
Three Democrats are in the race including investment executive Mike Scherzan, Iraq War veteran/former Steve King challenger Jim Mowrer, and businessman Desmund Adams. This is a must-win seat for Democrats in a race that will probably be dominated by spending from the campaign committees.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup.
3rd Congressional district of Iowa

Missouri Senate:
Republican Sen. Roy Blunt isn’t on the verge of defeat, but if his race against Democratic Secretary of State Jason Kander gets close, it’s probably a sign that the Republican majority in the Senate has been lost.
Blunt has been in Washington since before Mark McGwire was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals and the senator has family connections to lobbyists, who aren’t particularly popular these days. But Kander is punching above his weight class and must prove he can keep up his fundraising pace. The last sitting secretary of state elected to the Senate was Democrat Max Cleland in Georgia in 1996.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Republican Favored.
Nebraska 2nd District:
Republicans don’t have a lot of House takeover opportunities, but this is one of them. Democrat Brad Ashford knocked off GOP Rep. Lee Terry in 2014, although it was more about Terry’s ineptness than Ashford’s strength. But after a rocky start in office, Ashford has apparently righted the ship and Republicans aren’t exactly flocking to get into the race.
Retired Brig. Gen. Don “Bits” Bacon and former state Sen. Chip Maxwell are running on the Republican side, while others are waiting for the political climate to improve or wait for the 66-year-old Ashford to retire.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup.

The Mountain Region covers Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.
Colorado 6th District:
House Democrats wouldn’t have been sad to see GOP Rep. Mike Coffman leave this seat to run for the Senate, but they’re still confident they can win this competitive district, even though the congressman is seeking re-election.
Coffman easily defeated the hyped former state Speaker Andrew Romanoff in 2014, but Democrats believe state Sen. Morgan Carroll is even better. President Barack Obama won the 6th by 6 points in 2012 and 9 points in 2008, so this is the type of district Democrats must win to get back to the majority. It won’t be easy.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Leans Republican.

Republican hold

Colorado Senate:
Republicans aren’t sure whether they have a candidate in the race who can defeat Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet after Coffman and Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler declined to run. A handful of Republicans are running and state Rep. Jon Keyser is expected to join them in January, but all of them have to ramp up their campaigns.
Democrats would improve their chances of taking back the majority in the Senate by re-electing Bennet and holding the Nevada open seat so any takeovers would add to the party’s net gain.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Leans Democratic.
Utah 4th District:
Democrat Doug Owens narrowly lost to Mia Love, 50 percent to 47 percent, last cycle and is back for a rematch. The congresswoman didn’t help herself with stories about flight reimbursements but, unlike in 2014, Owens will face hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars of attack ads next year.
As the first black Republican woman to serve in Congress, Love looks to have a bright future in the party, if she can win re-election.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Safe Republican, but could get more competitive.
Wyoming At-Large:
GOP Rep. Cynthia M. Lummis’ retirement creates an open seat. And even though Garfield disputed the state’s existence, Wyoming will host a competitive Republican primary next August. Races in the Equality State tend to develop late, but the field of replacement candidates could include state Rep. Tim Stubson and attorney Liz Cheney, former Vice President Dick Cheney’s daughter.
Lummis is the only woman in the House Freedom Caucus, so the primary could influence the balance of power within the GOP conference.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Safe Republican.

Top Races in 2016: The Midwest & The South

Florida GOP Congressman Carlos Curbelo is a major target of the Dems.

Roaring on to November

  • My quandary:  The Democrats are fucking Marxists and the Big Government loving Republicans are open borders whores for Wall Street. I am a man without a party.
  • Following these races is like watching a football game when you hate both teams.

(Roll Call)  -  A look at the most competitive House and Senate races for 2016. The Midwest Region covers Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Senate:
Republican Ron Johnson knocked off Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold by 5 points in 2010, but Feingold is back to try to reclaim his seat. Even though Feingold lost re-election, he starts the rematch with a positive image and Republicans have to remind voters about why they fired him or what they should like about him in the years since he was tossed from office.
Johnson is laser focused on fixing the economy and hasn’t bothered with some of the niceties of the Senate.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Pure Tossup, but Johnson might be a slight underdog at this stage.
Ohio Senate:
National Democrats got the candidate they wanted to challenge GOP Sen. Rob Portman, but it remains to be seen whether former Gov. Ted Strickland will be successful. Strickland had an underwhelming $1.5 million in the bank on Sept. 30 and has yet to scare young Cincinnati City Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld out of the Democratic primary.
Meanwhile, Portman’s numbers are soft and he must re-introduce himself to voters with some of the $11 million he had in the bank at the end of September. If the election were held today, Strickland would probably win, but Republicans have time to drive up Strickland’s negatives.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Leans Republican.
10th Congressional District of Illinois

Illinois 10th District:
A race between Republican Robert Dold against Democrat Brad Schneider is becoming a biennial affair. If Schneider wins the Democratic primary against Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering, the two men will face off for the third consecutive election.
The last two races were decided by a couple of points or less, and there is no reason to believe this race won’t be close as well. If Democrats can’t win here, it’s going to be a very long night for their party.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Pure Tossup.

The South region includes: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Florida Senate:
The Democratic primary between the establishment favorite, Rep. Patrick Murphy, and colorful Rep. Alan Grayson doesn’t have any signs of slowing down. The Republican field includes a handful of candidates and may not even be set.
Even with the nominations in doubt, the general election to replace GOP Sen. Marco Rubio is likely to be very competitive and could be impacted by the competitiveness of the presidential election at the top of the ballot. The race is a virtual must-win for Democrats to get back to the majority.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup.
Florida’s 26th District:
Republican Carlos Curbelo knocked off embattled Democratic Rep. Joe Garcia in 2014 and Democrats are targeting the seat in 2016. A court-ordered redraw of the congressional map made the district more Democratic, boosting the chances of Democrat Annette Taddeo.
But Curbelo won’t be easy to unseat, particularly with $1.2 million in campaign funds at the end of September. Democrats must win the seat to make a dent in the GOP majority.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup.
North Carolina Senate:
Democrats failed to get a top-tier recruit against GOP Sen. Richard Burr, but they haven’t given up completely. A combination of Democratic state Rep. Deborah Ross developing into a top candidate, Burr stumbling through a primary against 2014 candidate Greg Brannon, and Republicans imploding at the presidential level could put this seat at risk.
Burr starts 2016 in good shape for re-election, but if this race is a barn-burner, it could be a sign of bigger problems for Republicans across the country.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Leans Republican.

N.Y. Times Memory-Holed This Devastating Obama Admission

"If it's not about me, it's not news"

(The Federalist)  -  A story published by the New York Times late Thursday night caused some major media waves. The story, which was written by reporters Peter Baker and Gardiner Harris, included a remarkable admission by Obama about his response to the recent terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California.

By Friday morning, however, the entire passage containing Obama’s admission had been erased from the story without any explanation from the New York Times. Here’s the passage that was included in the story when it was published Thursday night, courtesy of CNN’s Brian Stelter.

The version of the New York Times story that was published early Thursday evening indicated that Obama knew he was out of touch with the country on terrorism, and he thought that was due to not watching enough television.

Obama critics immediately pounced on the stunning admission from the president, expressing shock that he would claim that a lack of TV time was the real reason for him not understanding Americans’ anxiety about terrorism.
The deleted passage

In his meeting with the columnists, Mr. Obama indicated that he did not see enough cable television to fully appreciate the anxiety after the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, and made clear that he plans to step up his public arguments. Republicans were telling Americans that he is not doing anything when he is doing a lot, he said.

Terrorist "vetted" by FIVE different government agencies

A Government of Idiots
These are your choices - Pick one

  • CHOICE #1  -  The NSA, FBI and the other spy agencies around the world are so overworked and understaffed that they missed the San Bernandino Muslim terrorists posting Jihad all over the Internet for years and years.  If only their budgets were higher!
  • CHOICE #2  -  The spy agencies all over the world are way too busy spying on average citizens to bother with Muslim Jihadis. Besides, if a few terrorists slip through and murder people that gives the agencies a chance to demand more 1984 Police State spying powers and larger budgets.

(CBS News)  -  As investigators focus on what or who motivated San Bernardino shooters Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, to open fire at the Inland Regional Center, a report about Malik’s comments on social media before she moved to the U.S. is raising questions about how thoroughly she was vetted.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to CBS News that Malik made radical postings on Facebook as far back as 2012 — the year before she married Farook and moved to the U.S., reports CBS News correspondent Carter Evans. According to a report in the New York Times, Malik spoke openly on social media about her support for violent jihad and said she wanted to be a part of it. But none of these postings were discovered when Malik applied for a U.S. K-1 fiancé visa.
“If you’re going to start doing a deeper dive into somebody and looking at their social media postings or other things, you really want to focus your effort on the high-risk traveler, the person that you’re really worried about being a threat to the United States,” said James Carafano, national security expert and vice president of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at the Heritage Foundation. “The question is, how do you identify them?”
Malik was not identified as a threat despite being interviewed at the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan and vetted by five different government agencies that checked her name and picture against a terror watch list and ran her fingerprints against two databases.
“This is a case where, in retrospect, we know that this is a person that had lots of red lights and red flags. How come they didn’t stand out as a high risk traveler? That’s a really, really good question,” Carafano said.
