The Walking Dead - All good things come to an end

The Best TV Show Ever Finally Ends

  • Nothing like this had ever happened in TV history. The show would come on at 9PM and then at 10PM the highly rated The Talking Dead came on where fans talked about the show everyone had just finished watching.

By Gary;

The series finale finally came last Sunday.

It's been a Hell of a ride.

It is hard to believe that 11 years of my life have been devoted to The Walking Dead.

I had never liked zombie films before, but when the Dead first appeared in 2010 I, like so many others, was totally blown away by the plots, sub-plots, acting and special effects.

We all became glued to AMC every Sunday night for years on end.

With the death of The Governor the series began to lose focus until the appearance of Negan.

Still even with Negan the series ignored main characters and spent entire shows on minor characters who are little more than Walker Bait. I suspect it was done to lower salary costs.

The series hit a peak in 2015 with 15.8 million viewers tuning into the season 5 finale.

But all good things must come to an end.  Rick and Maggie left the show.

Daryl was not able to hold the show together by himself. So Maggie was brought back.

The remaining sub-par cast was tough to watch.  It's hard when so many of the actors you love are eaten.

I invested so much of my life in the Dead. I vowed to hang in there until the last cast member was either victorious over the Zombie Apocalypse or was eaten.

The best show ever on TV is now over. Thanks for the memories.
