Can California's slide to Marxism be stopped?

California is becoming Venezuela North

By Gary;

Former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. the Democrat nominee for Governor, never met a big government program that he did not want to tax you to pay for.

So we are dealing with the frog in boiling water theory. The one-party Leftist People's Republic of California will slowly keep spending and taxing the middle class until there is no middle class left . . . all in the name of a Marxist Social Justice Utopia.

The GOP is pathetic

The Democrats have super-majorities in the state legislature.

Add in there is no Republican candidate at all for U.S. Senate. It will be a Democrat vs Democrat for the Senate seat.  The GOP could not even manage to field candidates for Lt. Governor or Insurance Commissioner.  Two more posts that will be Democrat vs. Democrat on the ballot.

If GOP candidate and businessman John Cox was not basically self financed there would have been no Republican on the ballot at all for Governor this November.

On the ballot this November will be a proposition to repeal Jerry Brown's gas tax.

It is possible Cox could leverage voter anger over taxes into a victory.

But it also more likely voters will repeal the tax and keep voting for Leftists up and down the ballot.

After all to many California voters Republicans are little more than Nazis.  To reject the Leftist party line is to reject themselves and everything they believe in.

Venezuela here we come.

Vote for Governor
Leftist politics largely hugs the California coast.
The problem is that is where most of the voters are
