Trump's DOJ backs baker who refused to make cake for gay couple

Just Make The Damn Cake
You Fucking Idiot

  • Trump is dead wrong on this. The Gay cake BS is NOT a religious freedom issue.  If your business is open to the general public then you better damn well serve the general public.
  • Where does this stupid ass insanity stop? Can Muslim business owners refuse to serve Jews? Jews refuse to serve Hindus?  or La Raza supporting businesses refusing to serve Blacks?

(New York Post)  -  The Trump administration on Thursday filed papers at the U.S. Supreme Court backing a Christian baker in Colorado whom a state court ruled against for declining to make a wedding cake for a gay couple.

In the brief, Acting Solicitor General Jeff Wall said Jack Phillips should be exempt from Colorado’s anti-discrimination law because making custom cakes is a form of free expression protected under the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment.

The high court agreed in June to hear Phillips’ appeal of the state court ruling that his refusal to make the cake violated the anti-discrimination law.
Phillips contends the law violated his constitutional rights to freedom of speech and free exercise of religion.
The court will hear oral arguments and issue a ruling in the case in its new term, which starts in October and ends in June.

What is Wrong With
Equality Before The Law?

In 1866 the Republican Party passed the first Civil Rights Act saying that any citizen has the same right that a white citizen has to make and enforce contracts, sue and be sued, give evidence in court, and inherit, purchase, lease, sell, hold, and convey real and personal property.
.
The GOP passed Civil Rights Act of 1875 stated "All persons within the jurisdiction of the United States shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the accommodations, advantages, facilities, and privileges of inns, public conveyances [transportation] on land or water, theaters, and other places of public amusement . . ."

The California Alien Land Law of 1913 (also known as the Webb-Haney Act) prohibited "aliens ineligible for citizenship" from owning agricultural land or possessing long-term leases over it, but permitted leases lasting up to three years. It affected the ChineseIndianJapanese, and Korean immigrant farmers in California. Implicitly, the law was primarily directed at the Japanese.

Chosing the right torpeodos , and bombs .
