- The cowardly and worthless GOP Governor of Iowa was too frightened to actually take a stand for freedom and end the COVID-1984 "state of emergency". Instead she is just allowing it to expire in 2 weeks.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) announced on Thursday that she will allow the “public health disaster emergency proclamation” to expire on February 15, 2022.
The emergency proclamation was first issued on March 17, 2020, to authorize health mitigation measures during the early state of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We cannot continue to suspend duly enacted laws and treat COVID-19 as a public health emergency indefinitely. After two years, it’s no longer feasible or necessary. The flu and other infectious illnesses are part of our everyday lives, and coronavirus can be managed similarly,” stated Gov. Reynolds. “State agencies will now manage COVID-19 as part of normal daily business, and reallocate resources that have been solely dedicated to the response effort to serve other important needs for Iowans,” the governor said in a statement.

School Children Forced To Apologize to Black Kids For Their Skin Color

(Newswars) A 5th grade teacher working in the North Penn School District made white elementary school children apologize to black kids for their skin color, according to irate parents.
The sensational claim was made during a school board meeting by the mother of a child who attends AM Kulp Elementary School.
“I actually pulled my daughter out of AM Kulp because of the 5th grade teacher who lined those students up, from whitest to darkest,” she said.
“(The teacher) made them turn around and made the white ones apologize to the black ones – now do not tell me that did not happen in this district,” the mother added.
“You need to put an end to this. Kids do not see color and you are segregating them and you are separating them. This is not OK. Do something or get out of those damn chairs!” she concluded.
The mother’s complaint was bolstered by a further claim by another individual at the meeting who described how the same teacher forced children to take part in a ‘privilege walk’ multiple times.
“This board has repeatedly denied an activity that has taken place at AM Kulp Elementary…it happened in the courtyard…not once but four times,” said the speaker.
“A teacher…lined the students up on the wall, asked them to step forward if their parents were married, step forward if their parents were college educated, step forward if they own a cellphone or an iPhone, step forward if their skin color resembled a band aid, step forward if they had an in-ground pool.”
Explaining that multiple different parents had told him that this had happened, the speaker also related how the teacher in question “also added at one point when she asked about a band aid with a mini-megaphone, the teacher told the student to get back on the wall because her parents were from India.”
The speaker finished by accusing the school board of falsely denying that such events were taking place.
North Penn School District appears to be riddled with activist teachers intent on indoctrinating children.

ATHENS — The case of a 3-year-old boy from Cyprus who was initially denied treatment in foreign hospitals because his parents were unvaccinated has raised concerns about whether doctors should be allowed to turn away patients.
After three countries refused to treat the boy, he is now in Greece awaiting surgery.
The boy, who has not been named, was hospitalized with serious heart disease. As Cypriot hospitals were unable to perform the necessary procedure, the health ministry arranged for the boy to be taken by air ambulance to Germany last Thursday.
However, the day before the transfer was supposed to take place, the hospital in Frankfurt informed the Cypriot authorities that it would not be going ahead because the boy’s parents had not had the COVID-19 vaccine.
Cyprus suggested that the child could be accompanied by a legal guardian instead of his parents but this suggestion was turned down.
A German health ministry official confirmed there is no rule that says hospitals cannot treat unvaccinated people, let alone children whose parents are not vaccinated. However, the official added that each hospital has its own restrictions and makes its own arrangements with patients.

(Epoch Times) The Hershey Co. has begun firing office workers who have declined to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
On the way out the door, the candy manufacturer is asking the fired employees to sign a nine-page confidentiality and release agreement that would remove their rights to sue the company or talk about their experience.
While their signature comes with a “special separation payment,” many haven’t signed the agreement and won’t get the money. Employees say the payment was determined by an algorithm, and for some, amounted to just over two months’ pay.
By most accounts, working at Hershey was a great job. Employees at the company’s headquarters in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and at offices in other states report higher than average wages and bowls of candy placed around the offices for snacking.
For holidays, employees would get a big bag of treats to take home, although that practice stopped after Easter 2021. There’s a sample room for trying new products, colorful graphics decorating the walls, and the products are more fun than selling insurance.
But it stopped being fun after months of human resources department meetings that employees say included education about the vaccines, asking if the employee had changed their mind about getting the shots, as well as uncomfortably invasive questions.
“I really thought I’d be OK,” Kim Durham, a former payment analyst and sourcing buyer, told The Epoch Times. “I thought, you cannot question my faith. Nobody can question that.”
Durham asked for a religious accommodation in August and assumed she would get it.
“I thought this was behind me until September, when I met with an HR representative. It was an interrogation on your religious beliefs. They twisted your words and tried to put words in your mouth. It was terrible.
“I was asked such personal questions that had nothing to do with religion.”
She was shocked when, in November, she received word that her request for religious accommodation had been denied.

Gay Superman Comic Sales are Flaccid

A reboot of DC Comics' "Superman" series – featuring "woke" story lines – hasn't exactly showed strength in its sales numbers, according to a report.
Sales of "Superman: Son of Kal-El" reportedly didn't crack the Top 50 for units sold, only five issues into its new run, according to the website Bounding into Comics and reported by The Washington Times.
The story line involves the son of the original Superman working as a climate activist, as well as an advocate for illegal immigrants.
He also dates a male reporter.
Sales of the new comic book have reportedly failed since DC replaced Clark Kent with his millennial son Jonathan Kent. That change took place last summer, the Times reported.
"Superman: Son of Kal-El" #1 sold only 68,800 copies since it debuted in July. That made it the 17th best-selling comic that month, according to industry resources website Comichron.
Those sales numbers fall way short of prior Superman reboots.
"Superman" #1 sold 133,700 copies in 2018, "Superman: Rebirth" #1 sold 118,434 copies, "Superman" #1 sold 105,380 copies in June 2016, and "Superman" #1 sold 118,376 copies in September 2011.
In October, California-based DC decided to make the new Superman bisexual, starting a friendship with reporter Jay Nakamura in an attempt to boost interest.

Standing Your Ground Against Fascism
Authorities in the Canadian province of Alberta have dispatched heavily armed police units to disperse the blockade of a border crossing with the US state of Montana by truckers disgruntled with Covid-19 vaccine mandates.
Scores of Canadian truckers blocked the border crossing between Coutts, Alberta and Sweet Grass, Montana over the weekend, as thousands of their colleagues descended on the Canadian capital of Ottawa to picket the parliament.
On Monday afternoon, surrounded by special units of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the truckers prayed and decided to open one northbound lane for local traffic and let anyone who wishes to leave do so, but voted to stand their ground. One of them vowed the “only way I’m leaving is in a [police] cruiser.”
Police are “not willing to negotiate,” one of the truckers told the outlet Rebel News, adding that by opening a lane, they were technically complying with a provincial law passed in 2020 to crack down on indigenous rights activists.
According to Coutts Mayor Jim Willett, about 100 trucks were blocking Highway 4 on the Canadian side, causing a miles-long backup on Interstate 15 in Montana. About 50-100 trucks have reportedly been stuck on the US side since Saturday.
The blockade is a protest against US and Canadian governments mandating that truckers must be “fully vaccinated” against Covid-19, which came into effect on January 15.
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, who is in Washington, DC for a meeting of US governors, denounced the blockade on Sunday as “causing significant inconvenience for lawful motorists” and insisted it “must end immediately.”
