Romney wants war in Syria

Will Romney Obey the Constitution?
  • Wants the US to overthrow the government of Syria by force.  That sounds like war to me.
  • Will Romney follow the law and go to Congress for permission?  Obama did not.

My motto is "Better Mitt than Marx".

When it comes to personal and economic freedom at home Mitt Romney is light years ahead the our Marxist overloard Comrade Obama.  But both Democrats and Republicans have in common building an Imperial Presidency.  Romney did not say if he would go to Congress for approval.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Monday that as president he would work to identify, organize and arm members of the Syrian opposition "who share our values."  (Whatever the Hell that means in that clusterfuck screwed up part of the world.)

According to the State Department, some Sunni Muslim forces opposing the Syrian regime of Bashar-al-Assad are al-Qaeda terrorists.

"In Syria, I'll work with our partners to identify and organize those members of the opposition who share our values, and then ensure that they obtain the arms they need to defeat Assad’s tanks and helicopters and fighter jets," Romney said in a major foreign policy address in Virginia reports CNS News.

Sounds like a war to a simple person like me.

"It's essential that we develop influence with those forces in Syria that will one day lead a country that sits at the heart of the Middle East," Romney said.

Both Romney and President Barack Obama have both expressed support for the revolt in Syria.

The Comrade Obama - Clinton team have already violated the
Constitution and waged war against Libya.
