Poll: Trump leads, Rubio gains ground in New Hampshire

The Real Test is Coming

  • I am very interested in polls taken from this point on. Those will reflect Trump's comments on Muslim immigration. Are people willing to sell out the U.S. to immigrants or will they stand up and defend our borders.
  • More Terrorism  -  If there are one or two additional Islamic terrorist attacks on U.S. soil I think all bets are off.

(Washington Examiner)  -  Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump continued to maintain his lead in New Hampshire Tuesday, according to a new CNN/WMUR poll.
Trump, who is second on the Washington Examiner's latest power rankings, currently leads the field with 32 percent support, with Sen. Marco Rubio in a distant second place with 14 percent backing, a five-point bump from their September poll.
The rest of the pack is bunched up in single digits, with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 9 percent. Christie is followed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (8 percent), Ohio Gov. John Kasich (7 percent), Sen. Ted Cruz (6 percent), Carly Fiorina and Dr. Ben Carson (both at 5 percent).
Christie rose four percentage points in the state since the September survey, while also enjoying a 53 percent favorability rating, the third highest amongst the field behind only Rubio and Trump. The New Jersey governor was recently endorsed by the New Hampshire Union Leader.
Rubio holds the highest favorability rating, with 61 percent, along with the lowest unfavorable mark at 23 percent. Trump holds a 57 percent favorability rating.
