Eat Seaweed & be Happy Say the Elites

(Summit News)  World Economic Forum technocrats are urging people to ditch meat and other foods deemed to be harmful to the planet and instead consume “climate beneficial foods” such as seaweed, algae and cacti.

The WEF made the call as it wrapped up the 2022 meeting of global elitists in Davos, Switzerland.

A starter list published by the organization triumphs algae as being “an ideal replacement for meat” because it has a “carbon-negative profile” and is high in “essential fatty acids and high vitamin and antioxidants content.”

The guide also highlights cacti as containing “high amounts of vitamins C and E, carotenoids, fibre and amino acids,” noting that it is already commonly eaten in Mexico.

Back in December 2020, the World Economic Forum published two articles on its website which explored how people could be conditioned to get used to the idea of eating weeds, bugs and drinking sewage water in order to reduce CO2 emissions.

Earlier this year, Vanderbilt University Professor Amanda Little argued that everyone in the world needs to start dining on insects and that the EU’s approval of them conferred a form of “dignity” to their consumption.

In February, billionaire-owned news outlet Bloomberg said Americans should cope with soaring inflation by eating lentils instead of meat.

A group of environmental economists in Germany also demanded that huge taxes be imposed on meat products to fight climate change, with calls for beef to be 56 per cent more expensive.

The Story of our Time:

"Some Men Just Want To Watch The World Burn"

'Superpigs' could soon invade cities

(CBC)  In the northeastern Alberta town of Lamont, residents have been warned to be on guard against a possible invasion of wild boars

Roaming swine have been spotted inside town limits, prompting the community to send out a safety advisory.

"Be calm and move slowly," reads the notice. "Do not corner or provoke the animal."

For decades, Alberta has waged a battle against wild boar — a term that refers to the Eurasian wild boar but also to hybrids of domestic pigs and Eurasian wild boar, and wild or feral pigs.

Wild boar have been spotted in at least 28 rural municipalities and counties.

The province recently stepped up eradication efforts with increased surveillance, trapping, and cash bounties in exchange for the animals' ears.

Recent sightings are a reminder that the elusive animals remain a threat to rural and urban habitats, said Ryan Brook, an associate professor of agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan and director of the Canada Wild Pig Research Project.

Wild boars are expanding their range and could soon move from the bush into Alberta cities, Brook said.

"They're incredibly mobile. Very smart. They eat almost anything. They can survive in a huge range of habitats.

"And so this is, unfortunately, exactly what we should expect to see more of in the future."

Aggressive action will be required to keep the invaders from becoming a permanent fixture in backyards, city streets and town parks, Brook said. Any community south of the boreal forest border is at risk, he said.

"They're the worst invasive large mammal on the planet."

The vast majority of wild boars in Alberta are hybrids.

Brook describes them as "superpigs."

Wild boars usually live in the forest, emerging to devour crops, contaminate water sources by wallowing in wetlands and harass livestock. They carry diseases that can be transmitted to domestic pigs.

Urbanized populations of the pigs found in the southern United States and European cities, including Berlin, have proven incredibly destructive, Brook said. The animals root through yards, devour flower beds and parkland, cause havoc in traffic, and attack people and pets.

Happy Decoration Day (Memorial Day)

The Other Greatest Generation

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

The holiday, which is observed every year on the last Monday of May, originated as Decoration Day after the American Civil War in 1868, when the Grand Army of the Republic, an organization of Union veterans founded in Decatur, Illinois, established it as a time for the nation to decorate the graves of the Union war dead with flowers.

By the 20th century, competing Union and Confederate holiday traditions, celebrated on different days, had merged, and Memorial Day eventually extended to honor all Americans who died while in the military service. It typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, while Labor Day marks its end.

The first widely publicized observance of a Memorial Day-type observance after the Civil War was in Charleston, South Carolina, on May 1, 1865. During the war, Union soldiers who were prisoners of war had been held at the Hampton Park Race Course in Charleston; at least 257 Union prisoners died there and were hastily buried in unmarked graves.
Together with teachers and missionaries, black residents of Charleston organized a May Day ceremony in 1865, which was covered by the New York Tribune and other national papers. The freedmen cleaned up and landscaped the burial ground, building an enclosure and an arch labeled "Martyrs of the Race Course". Nearly 10,000 people, mostly freedmen, gathered on May 1 to commemorate the war dead. Involved were about 3,000 school children, newly enrolled in freedmen's schools, as well as mutual aid societies, Union troops, black ministers and white northern missionaries. Most brought flowers to lay on the burial field.
David W. Blight described the day:
This was the first Memorial Day. African Americans invented Memorial Day in Charleston, South Carolina. What you have there is black Americans recently freed from slavery announcing to the world with their flowers, their feet, and their songs what the war had been about. What they basically were creating was the Independence Day of a Second American Revolution.

How tiny and corrupt our modern
politicians look in comparison.

Kissinger BOMBSHELL - Zelensky Should SURRENDER Eastern Ukraine!!!

Kissinger
For peace SURRENDER Eastern Ukraine

For thousands of years nations have made war - - - but they have also made treaties that traded land or money for peace.

But as George Orwell said: “The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous."

The last thing the Globalists want is peace.

The Ukraine is split by language and culture, but American politicians could care less and demand that Russia obey America.

Poke a bear and get a war.

Bottom Line
From Crimea to Donbas, Russia has brought back into their Empire the Russian speaking regions of Ukraine.

No more. No Less.

The U.S. is under invasion from the south. So pardon me if I don't give a shit about defending Ukraine's artificially created "borders".

Only 22 House Republicans Demand Accountability On Biden's $40b War Spending

Corruptus in Extremis
  • BOTTOM LINE - Neither party gives a flying fuck about Ukraine.  Foreign aid and arms contracts are just giant money laundering operations for the bipartisan Elites.

(Zerohedge)  The House of Representatives, on May 10, approved President Biden's $33 billion package for the war in Ukraine, and then, on its own initiative, added $7 billion on top of it. That brought the new war spending authorization to $40 billion, on top of the $14 billion already spent just 10 weeks into this war, which U.S. officials predict will last years, not months.

The House vote in favor was 388-57. All 57 NO votes were from GOP House members. All House Democrats, including the Squad, voted YES.

A similar scene occurred when the Senate, “moving quickly and with little debate,” overwhelmingly approved the same war package. All eleven NO votes were from Senate Republicans.

All Senate Democrats, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), voted in favor, seemingly in direct contradiction to Sanders’ February 8 op-ed in The Guardian warning of the severe dangers of bipartisan escalation of the war.

Efforts by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to delay passage of the bill so that some safeguards and accountability measures could be included regarding where the money was going and for what purposes it would be used were met with scorn, particularly from Paul's fellow Kentucky GOP Senator, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who condemned Paul as an “isolationist.”

Following the Senate vote, a jet was used to fly the bill across the world to President Biden in South Korea, where he signed it into law.

But the lack of any safeguards over the destination of the money and weapons prompted close to two dozen House Republicans, led by Rep. Yvette Herrell (R-NM), to send a letter to the Biden White House on Monday demanding greater specificity and assurances about legal requirements on how weapons are used. The letter urges a public reckoning on the dangers of the U.S.'s bankrolling of the war in Ukraine: “We write today to express grave concern about the lack of oversight and accountability for the money and weapons recently approved by Congress for Ukraine,” it began.

"The aid package approved by Congress provides unprecedented funding for a foreign conflict in which the United States is not fighting, while there have been no significant hearings or substantive briefings on the use of the money and weapons being provided at taxpayer expense." The lawmakers raised the prospect of sophisticated weaponry falling into the hands of terrorist organizations, citing a documented history of illicit arms-trafficking within Ukraine, a market which is one of the largest in Europe:

"According to a 2017 Small Arms Survey briefing on arms trafficking, over 300,000 small arms disappeared from Ukraine between 2013 and 2015 and only 13 percent were recovered. Criminal networks, corrupt officials, and underpaid military personnel can make a profitable business from the sale of arms from Ukrainian military stockpiles. For example, in 2019, the Ukrainian Security Service uncovered a plot by Ukrainian soldiers to sell 40 RGD-5 grenades, 15 grenade launchers, 30 grenade detonators, and 2,454 rounds of ammunition for 75,000 Ukrainian hryvnia or around $2,900."

Russia taunts US on global food shortage

COVID Police State Starvation
Socialist lockdowns = no freedom, food shortages

(Jerusalem Post)  Russian diplomat Mikhail Ulyanov taunted the US State Department on Secretary Antony Blinken's remarks on the global food security crisis, in a tweet on Monday.

"Russia expects a record-breaking harvest of wheat in 2022," wrote Ulyanov, Russia's representative to international organizations in Vienna. "We stand ready to offer to export 25 million tons of grain through the port of Novorossiysk during the period of 5 months (from August 1 to December 31). What the US is going to offer?"

Ulyanov was responding to the US State Department, which called on countries with "significant grain and fertilizer reserves as well as those with financial resources" to help to tackle the food crisis.

"The United States has announced more than $2.3 billion in new funding for emergency food assistance to meet global humanitarian needs since Russia's invasion of Ukraine," Blinken said on Wednesday at the UN's Global Food Security Call to Action meeting. "Today, given the urgency of the crisis, we're announcing another $215 million in new emergency food assistance. And we'll do much more.  We expect our Congress very soon to approve approximately $5.5 billion in additional funding for humanitarian assistance and food security."

Farmers worldwide are also feeling the impact of sanctions on Russia, which provides 13% of the world's fertilizer output.
