What's with Morgan?
- Am I the only one who is wondering what this staff wielding, zen-like Morgan is doing? This "all life is precious" crap doesn't cut it with me or with the other inhabitants of the flesh eating Zombie Apocalypse world.
- There have been a lot of hits in season six, but there have also been a lot of misses. Scripts are bound to start sounding repetitive or weak after so many outstanding shows.
(TV by the numbers) - “The Walking Dead” closed the first half of Season 6 on a high note — at least in the ratings.
Sunday’s fall finale scored a 7.0 same-day rating among adults 18-49 and 14 million viewers. That’s the show’s best 18-49 rating since the season premiere (7.4). It is, however, down a little from last season’s fall finale, which scored a 7.5 in the demo.
The 2014 fall finale was also the highest-rated midseason ender since the show went to split seasons in Season 2, so there’s not much shame in that. Sunday’s show was down about 7 percent year to year.
Full Sunday cable ratings will be available Wednesday as Nielsen completes its post-Thanksgiving catchup.
