A Permanent Great Depression
.
The poverty of the 1930s Great Depression is coming back. The moronic politicians and TV talking heads blunder forward thinking the future will look like the past as they talk about new jobs and economic recovery.
.
Those of us still able to think for ourselves see the writing on the wall. Technology, free trade agreements, robotics, the Internet and outsourcing are permanently abolishing jobs by the millions. At some point the consumer economy will collapse as people with jobs to buy products simply vanish.
.
Welcome to a future of eternal poverty, unemployment, EBT cards and government housing.

Artificial Intelligence Replaced White
Collar Office Workers
(The Guardian) - A future in which human workers are replaced by machines is about to become a reality at an insurance firm in Japan, where more than 30 employees are being laid off and replaced with an artificial intelligence system that can calculate payouts to policyholders.
Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance believes it will increase productivity by 30% and see a return on its investment in less than two years. The firm said it would save about 140m yen (£1m) a year after the 200m yen (£1.4m) AI system is installed this month. Maintaining it will cost about 15m yen (£100k) a year.
The move is unlikely to be welcomed, however, by 34 employees who will be made redundant by the end of March.
The system is based on IBM’s Watson Explorer, which, according to the tech firm, possesses “cognitive technology that can think like a human”, enabling it to “analyse and interpret all of your data, including unstructured text, images, audio and video”.
The technology will be able to read tens of thousands of medical certificates and factor in the length of hospital stays, medical histories and any surgical procedures before calculating payouts, according to the Mainichi Shimbun.

Pentagon to Replace Pilots
With Terminators
Yes we are that fucking stupid
(Vocativ) - For the last six months, the Pentagon has been working on a robotic system that could replace military pilots. Now the United States Department of Defense’s research arm has successfully demonstrated the technology, which turns aircraft into autonomous machines.
The goal of DARPA’s Aircrew Labor In-Cockpit Automation System (ALIAS) program was to develop a drop-in, removable kit that could be easily installed into airplanes and helicopters so that the robot pilot can operate the controls and monitor the gauges.
On December 23, the agency announced it had concluded the second phase of development after completing a fight demonstration in which the ALIAS kit was used to fly a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter, a Diamond DA-42 aircraft, and two Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft. The tests also included demonstrations of the robots reacting to simulated system failures that would have forced a human pilot to abandon a flight path.
Demonstration systems were developed by both the Lockheed Martin-owned aircraft manufacturing company Sikorsky and Aurora Flight Sciences. In October, Aurora released a demonstration video of their tech in action.
NASA, the Air Force, the Army, and the Navy are all interested in adopting ALIAS technology, according to DARPA. Since it only took half a year to develop the initial system, it might not be long before robots are able to fly most military aircraft.

Thats not as so ...
So why are we seen those migrations from people without specials skills ?
Many say they are needed to replace work that natives don`t want to do ... so what in the world robotics will needed and replace for if jobs beenyig scarce ?
militar use ? ok, that i understand
what else ?
maybe for those work migrants came for !!!! don`t it must be more appropriate ?
automatic food vending machines ...
