'God should kill Trump' Charlie Sheen
'God should send his lightening down on Trump"
(Washington Times) - Actor Charlie Sheen is under fire for a tweet wishing death upon President-elect Donald Trump.
His tweet, which read, “Dear God; Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please! Trump next, please!” — punctuated with a middle finger emoji — was posted just hours after it was announced that actress Debbie Reynolds had passed away, just one day after the death of her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher.
The backlash was swift, with many people accusing Mr. Sheen of politicizing a tragedy for a cheap joke.
“No matter how bad life gets, I never actively root for someone to die. That is a truly evil soul,” one Twitter user responded.
