Marxist Democrats and corrupt Establishment "Republicans" are creating a Communist Medical Police State in the burned-out rubble of a once great nation.
(ZeroHedge) A bill introduced in the Rhode Island legislature would require every eligible person who resides, works, or pays taxes in the state to take a COVID-19 vaccine.
Anyone who refuses will be fined $50 per month, AND “shall owe twice the amount of personal income taxes as would otherwise be assessed.”
The state will DOUBLE your taxes if you don’t comply.
This also applies to parents who refuse to inject their kids.
Any medical exemption requires the signature of three different doctors, with each document notarized.
But even medical exemptions can be thrown out if a government bureaucrat decides those doctors are wrong.
The Cruz campaign is dead, but the corpse is still twitching a bit.
Cruz is insane to try and claim the GOP nomination when he racks up "massive" numbers like 14% in New York, 11% in Connecticut, 10% in Rhode Island or 15% in Delaware.
To win the November election the GOP nominee will have to carry states that have voted Democrat in the past, and Cruz can't even win a GOP primary in those key states.
Sorry Ted, but carrying the Bible Belt won't cut it in November. But actually Cruz even lost the evangelicals to Trump.
Cruz supporters and many talking heads on TV have trashed these northeastern states that voted this last week. They forget that in 2014 New York and these other states sent 23 Republican Congressmen to Washington. They have a major roll in GOP politics and they have rejected Cruz and Kasich in landslide numbers.
It is not 1840. Those days are gone. In this modern age a candidate who lost most of the elections cannot win the nomination.
I don't care what happens in Indiana. It's over.

Charlie Baker up by 2 to 7 in numerous polls in Massachusetts; Paul LePage with
a small but consistent lead of 1 to 3 in Maine; and Tom Foley either slightly
behind or up as much as 5 in Connecticut. A 5th race - Walt Havenstein in New
Hampshire has closed as well to within 4 points. Though, there have been no
polls to date to show Havenstein with a lead.
Republican Allan Fung served as the Mayor of Cranston, Rhode Island since 2009. Fung became the first mayor of Chinese ancestry in Rhode Island.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI.com) – One of Washington’s top election prognosticators is upgrading Republican Allan Fung’s chances of winning the race for Rhode Island governor.
The Cook Political Report, an influential D.C. forecasting firm, on Friday changed its rating on the Rhode Island gubernatorial race from “Lean Democratic” to “Toss Up.” Cook had already changed its rating in Fung’s favor back on Oct. 17, when it switched the rating on the race from “Likely Democratic” to the less-certain “Lean Democratic.”
“This is not a typical Democrat versus Republican contest,” Jennifer Duffy, a Cook senior editor who happens to be a Rhode Island native, wrote Friday in explaining the rating change.
“As a result of her work on pension reform, some union members simply won’t support state Treasurer Gina Raimondo, the Democratic nominee,” Duffy wrote. “She does, however, get some support from moderate Republicans and independents. GOP nominee Allan Fung, who is mayor of Cranston, picks up a little of that union support (as well as Democrats in Cranston), but so does Moderate Party nominee Robert Healey.”
“Polling shows Raimondo with a small but consistent advantage over Fung, while Healey appears to be over-performing,” Duffy added. “We still give Raimondo the edge here, but the polling has been close enough to warrant a move to the Toss Up column.”
While Raimondo has held the lead in all public polls released since the primary, her margins have almost always been low, shrinking to the smallest yet in a Brown University poll released earlier this week that called the race “effectively tied.” Raimondo, Fung and Moderate Bob Healey met for their final televised debate on Thursday night.
Raimondo is seeking to become the first Democrat elected Rhode Island governor since Bruce Sundlun won a second term in 1992; outgoing incumbent Lincoln Chafee won in 2010 as an independent but became a Democrat last year. A Fung win would be the eighth Republican gubernatorial victory in Rhode Island since 1984; the most recent GOP governor, Don Carcieri, won with 54% of the vote in 2002 and 51% in 2006.
Both candidates have been bringing in big names to boost their campaigns in the final stretch. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, visited the state for a second time this week on Fung’s behalf and is returning Monday. The first lady, Michelle Obama, came Thursday for Raimondo, and President Obama made a brief visit to a Gregg’s with her while in Providence on Friday.
The Democratic Governors Association had spent $755,000 in Rhode Island on Raimondo’s behalf through Thursday, while Christie’s RGA had spent $125,000 on Fung’s behalf through Oct. 20, according to the two organizations’ R.I. Board of Elections disclosures. Raimondo and the Rhode Island Democratic Party hold a small financial advantage combined over Fung and the Republican Party.
Although the RGA has spent significantly less than its Democratic counterpart in Rhode Island so far, executive director Phil Cox expressed enthusiasm about the chances of Fung and other GOP candidates for governor across the region. “There’s a lot happening in New England,” Cox told the AP. “We’re on offense in five out of six states.”

Citing concerns about the “exclusive nature” of the annual honors night at Archie R. Cole Middle School, the Rhode Island school officials have decided to scrap the tradition.
Instead, students who would normally be recognized at the annual spring tradition will be honored during team-based recognition ceremonies and graduation.
The notice was sent to parents over the weekend in an e-mail signed by School Principal Alexis Meyer and Assistant Principal Dan Seger reports the East Greenwich Patch.
“Members of the school community have long expressed concerns related to the exclusive nature of Honors Night,” the email stated.
Translation - The students that spend weeks on end tweeting or playing video games might be offended if those who work hard succeed in life.
By having the recognition ceremonies during team-based ceremonies, it will “afford us the opportunity to celebrate the individual and collective success of all students and their effort, progress and excellence.”
One parent told ABC6 that he's not happy with the change.
“How else are they suppose to learn coping skills, not just based on success, but relative failure, it might not be failure, but understand what it takes to achieve high levels,” said parent Joe Kosloski.

Republican-turned-independent Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee has again switched his political affiliation — this time to the Democratic Party.
Chafee served in the U.S. Senate as a Republican from 1999 until losing his re-election bid in 2006 to Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse. He left the GOP in 2007 to become an independent before he was elected governor of the Ocean State in 2010.

The governor hasn’t publicly spoken of his switch, but Comrade Obama — in a statement released through the Democratic National Committee — confirmed Wednesday that Chafee has become a fellow Comrade and joined the Socialist Democratic Party reports the Washington Times.
“For nearly 30 years, Linc Chafee has served his beloved Rhode Island as an independent thinker and leader who’s unafraid to reach across party lines to get things done,” said the president.
“I enjoyed working with Linc when he was a Republican in the United States Senate, and I look forward to continuing that collaboration on the issues that matter not just to the Democratic Party, but to every American.”
Chafee, son of the late U.S. Sen. John Chafee, who also served Rhode Island as governor, told The Associated Press in December that he was considering joining the Democrats to help his chances of winning a second term in the Democratic state.
“There is no independent governors’ association throwing money around … but there is a Democratic Governors Association,” he said at the time.
From Conservatism to Socialism From the founding of the Republic, New England was the backbone of the Conservative Federalist Party, the National Republican Party, the Whig Party and later the Republican Party. But today New England has drifted to become nearly solid Leftist Democrat. For example, Democrats hold all 21 of New England's Congressional seats. . In Chafee's Rhode Island the GOP has become virtually extinct. In the 75 member lower house of the legislature only 6 are Republican. Chafee fleeing the Republican Party is just an act of self preservation. After hearing the platform of the Republican Party, nearly all the voters of Rhode Island have totally rejected the GOP and opted for Big Government Socialism.
New England - Once the heartland of the GOP, now the wasteland of the GOP
The GOP is becoming a regional party of the South and Mid West.
Republicans have ceded entire sections of the nation to the Socialist-Democrats.
Not being competitive will over time make it almost impossible to win the Electoral College or Congress.

That window of victory in the Electoral College gets more narrow every election for the right-of-center Republicans. In the Presidential race the GOP has lost all of New England and the Mid-Atlantic states down to Virginia, lost the Great Lakes states, lost Florida again and lost the entire West Coast.
To be a winning party you need to be a true nationwide party.
New England is a good example. In the next Congress, there won’t be a single Republican House member from the entire region of New England and just two Senators: Susan Collins of Maine and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire. The only two GOP House members from all of New England were defeated in New Hampshire.

Even with a Massachusetts Governor as the Republican nominee the election was a disaster. Mitt Romney did not even bother to try and carry his home state and failed to carry any New England state.
Some in the party said the trouble this year was mechanical in nature and blame presidential turnout and polling for their losses. Others are of the thought that until the GOP changes its tone about social issues, any Republican will have a difficult time winning federal office in New England.

The last time congressional Republicans were practically decimated in the region was 2006 and 2008, banner years for Democrats. Then, the problem was Iraq. Now it is social issues.
Many thoughtful Republicans blame stupid candidates like Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock and Missouri Senate hopeful Todd Akin for exacerbating the problem with remarks about rape.
Many also blame the lengthy GOP presidential primary they said lasted too long and brought up issues in endless live debate after debate on TV that do play well in many areas of the country. True believers love to have that red meat thrown at them, but not all issues need to be shoved in people's faces with glee. Tact is important.

State Legislatures - The state elections are also a disaster for Republicans. In New Hampshire the GOP lost the lower house while in Maine Republicans lost both the House and Senate.
The only legislative chamber Republicans control in the entire region is the New Hampshire state Senate.
The GOP needs to get out of people's lives and bedrooms
Campaign on jobs, privacy, property rights and the Bill of Rights.
Freedom. What a novel concept. Leaving people alone might even win votes.
Bread and Butter - The GOP needs to win the hearts and minds of a huge mass of voters. People always vote their pocketbooks. That is why Socialist Democrats are popular. They love to steal other people's money and give it away to buy votes.
Giveaways are fun for all, but employment is #1 to the folks. Republicans need to stick to bread and butter issues at the Federal level like jobs and the taxes and debt that crushes job creation. Always structure your position around helping voters to have a job to feed their kids.
Embrace the Bill of Rights.

the first and second.
The Bill of Rights - Republicans need to read the Bill of Rights. Really read it and really understand it. Add in the Federalist Papers for some bedside reading.
I know that reading and understanding these documents is a major step for the Big Government loving GOP.
If Republicans follow the Bill of Rights they can deflect 90% of hot button fucking insane social issues to the states as per the 10th Amendment.
If the GOP understood the Bill of Rights they could campaign against the Big Brother surveillance society instead of voting with Democrats to create it.
You cannot be an "opposition" party to the Democrats when you work with them to grow a massive, centralized unconstitutional Orwellian State.

The map of party control of state legislatures looks somewhat better for Republicans than the Electoral College map which is a disaster. But the real action is with spending and Big Brother government in Washington, not at the state level.
Republican Weakness - New England may keep the US Senate in Democrat hands
The GOP in the region is so weak that the states of Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts,Vermont and Connecticut do not send a single Republican House member to Washington.
Republicans could lose the Senate seats of Maine and Massachusetts.
Democratic control of the Senate means repealing Obamacare is dead in the water.
New England was once the heart of Republican Party strength. Now the GOP nominee from Massachusetts cannot carry his own state in a national election.
For all the talk about the importance of Ohio no one mentions Massachusetts and Romney. If Romney wins it will be the first time since Woodrow Wilson in 1916 that an incoming President failed to carry his own state.
To save Socialist Obamacare the Democrats are counting on GOP weakness in New England to help them pick up Republican-held Senate seats in New England and construct a barrier against losses in Nebraska and elsewhere that could erase their majority.
In Senate math, the loss of two seats in New England complicates the GOP calculation for majority control. Republicans would have to gain a net of six seats while holding suddenly uncertain Indiana, or a net of five seats if Romney wins the presidency.
Democrats currently have the edge 53-47, including two independents who caucus with the party reports the Washington Times.
Scott Brown for Senate - "Growing Up"
The National Republican Senatorial Committee has stopped spending money in Maine, where former Gov. Angus King, an independent, leads in the polls and is seen as likely to side with Democrats if he wins.
In Massachusetts, Republican Sen. Scott Brown is suddenly considered the underdog against Elizabeth Warren as the state is poised to easily back President Obama over former Gov. Mitt Romney for president.
Republican hopes of swiping the seat in Connecticut are fading. Democratic Rep. Christopher S. Murphy has steadied his campaign against former wrestling executive Linda McMahon, who spent $50 million on an unsuccessful bid in 2010 and $42.6 million and counting this year. McMahon has had to fight the state’s Democratic tilt which has undercut the GOP candidate’s prospects.

A new Boston Globe poll shows the race between Senator Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren in a dead heat, with ample opportunity for both candidates to win the nation’s most expensive Senate race.
The survey indicates Brown holds a razor-thin 45 percent to 43 percent lead over Warren among likely voters, well within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points. Brown’s lead evaporates, with 47 percent for each candidate, when voters who are undecided are asked which candidate they are leaning toward. (Boston Globe)

For years, Massachusetts was one of the most solidly Republican states in the nation. From the founding of the Republican Party through 1928, the state voted for only a single Democrat, in 1912, when the Progressive wing of the Republican Party split off to form a short-lived third party.
But as time passed and more and more Irish and other minorities moved to Boston, the Democrats' strength grew. By the late 1800s Boston was a mostly Democratic city, by the 1930s the state was Democratic in national elections, and by the 1960s it was donkeys all the way down.
Today the Republican Party is now virtually extinct in the state legislature, and the state hasn't sent a Republican to the House of Representatives since 1996. But in January 2010 the political world was shocked when an obscure state senator defeated Attorney General Martha Coakley in a special election to claim Ted Kennedy's seat by a five-point margin. Coakley won the solidly liberal western portion of the state and Boston, but it wasn't enough to offset Scott Brown's margins in the suburbs.
