Democrat New York Governor Kathy Hochul is moving the Empire State toward legalizing medical-assisted suicide, rebranding it as “medical aid in dying.”

You don’t “aid” dying. Dying happens on its own. The state is approving of the intentional ending of human life.

In an op-ed published by the Times Union, Hochul made clear that she intends to sign the so-called Medical Aid in Dying Act, which would allow terminally ill patients with fewer than six months to live to receive drugs designed to “speed up the inevitable.”

Supporters describe the proposal as “compassionate.” Opponents describe it far more bluntly: state-sanctioned suicide.

Democrat face-mask ban to combat anti-Semitism

New York state’s Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul has proposed a legislative ban on face masks on the NYC subway system to combat acts of anti-Semitism, claiming criminals are concealing their identities using the face coverings.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, New York had a law banning face masks in public. However, that rule was suspended in 2020 in light of the pandemic and the city’s authorities made face coverings mandatory for all subway riders until September 2022.

Speaking to reporters during a news conference in Albany on Thursday, Hochul stated that she was in talks with lawmakers over details of a bill once again banning masks, noting that the policy has to be clearly defined to include “common-sense exemptions” for the use of face masks for health, cultural or religious purposes. 

“We will not tolerate individuals using masks to evade responsibility for criminal or threatening behavior,” Hochul said, adding that her team is “working on a solution.”

The Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, had also mentioned reviving some version of a mask ban and returning to the way things were before the pandemic, insisting that people should not be able to wear masks at protests.

Hochul explained that she was moved to propose the ban after receiving a report earlier this week about a group of people donning face masks that “took over a subway car, scaring riders and chanting things about Hitler and wiping out Jews.”

(Infowars)  New York City artist and activist Scott LoBaido was arrested Wednesday after tossing slices of pizza over the fence surrounding the Big Apple’s Manhattan City Hall building.

LoBaido was protesting the city’s recently approved plan by Democrat Mayor Eric Adams’ Department of Environmental Protection to crack down on pizzerias and bakeries that use wood and coal-fired ovens.

These ovens allegedly create “smoky pollutants” the department views as dangerous for New Yorkers.

A crowd of supporters gathered around the activist as he grabbed a couple of slices of pizza, said, “Here we go pigeons,” and threw the food over the gate.

Several police officers immediately swarmed LoBaido and handcuffed him while the crowd shouted at them in anger.

“This is a fine!” a man filming the scene shouted in video footage, claiming throwing pizza on the ground is “not an arrestable offense.”

Another bystander said, “Illegals are coming in and murdering people and he’s getting arrested for throwing pizza.”

LoBaido protested the ridiculous NYC proposal when it was first introduced in June of 2023, tossing pizza over the City Hall gate and screaming, “You heard about the Boston Tea Party? Well, this is the New York Pizza Party. Give us pizza or give us death! New York City is nothing without pizza!”

During that incident, LoBaido was confronted by cops but not arrested and was instead given a summons.

(Black Listed News)  New York City will begin tracking the carbon footprint of household food consumption and putting caps on how much red meat can be served in public institutions as part of a sweeping initiative to achieve a 33% reduction in carbon emissions from food by 2030.

Mayor Eric Adams and representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Food Policy and Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice announced the new programs last month at a Brooklyn culinary center run by NYC Health + Hospitals, the city’s public healthcare system, just before Earth Day.

At the event, the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice shared a new chart to be included in the city’s annual greenhouse gas inventory that publicly tracks the carbon footprint created by household food consumption, the Gothamist reported.

The city already produced emissions data from energy use, transportation and waste as part of the annual inventory. But the addition of household food consumption data is part of a partnership that London and New York launched with American Express, C40 Cities and EcoData lab, Commissioner Rohit Aggarwala from the NYC Department of Environmental Protection announced at the event.

Aggarwala — who founded Google smart city subsidiary Sidewalk Labs — celebrated the expanded data collection as forging “a new standard for what cities have to do” and a new way to shape policy.

He said the inventory also will measure greenhouse gas pollution from the production and consumption of other consumer goods like apparel, whether or not those items are made in New York City. It also tracks emissions tied to services like air travel and healthcare.

But Adams’ presentation at the event focused on food consumption, particularly meat and dairy.

“Food is the third-biggest source of cities’ emissions right after buildings and transportation,” Adams said. “But all food is not created equal. The vast majority of food that is contributing to our emission crises lies in meat and dairy products.”

The return of the $74,000 Boston Dynamics' four-legged robotic dog called "Digidog" is set to assist the NYPD in investigating high-risk or hazardous incidents. Digidog first appeared on the streets in 2020 and was shelved months later after civil rights advocates called the technology 'aggressive policing.'

New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday demanded the federal government help pay for what he said was a wave of asylum seekers pouring into the city, claiming its safety net was being strained by busloads of people coming from border states and elsewhere.

Adams’ comments echo those of Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who took to national TV Sunday morning to say her city’s homeless shelters were filling up because of buses being sent en masse to the city from Texas and Arizona.

But as opposed to D.C., the problem in New York City is exacerbated by its “right to shelter” mandate, which means any homeless asylum seeker who comes to town, by any means, has to be put in a bed somewhere.

“Currently, New York City is experiencing a marked increase in the number of asylum seekers who are arriving from Latin America and other regions. In some instances, families are arriving on buses sent by the Texas and Arizona governments, while in other cases, it appears that individuals are being sent by the federal government,” Adams said in a statement, adding that more than 2,800 asylum seekers had entered the shelter system in recent weeks.

NY Judge Denies Emergency Order to Give Ivermectin to Deathly Ill Covid Patient

A Manhattan judge will not force a hospital to give a deathly ill Covid patient the life-saving drug Ivermectin after the man’s wife sued for the treatment.

According to court documents, Benjamin Chernyavsky has been on “death’s doorstep” since getting Covid last month and Mount Sinai Hospital is refusing to give him Ivermectin.

Chernyavsky’s wife, Erika Quintero-Sherry, filed a lawsuit against Mount Sinai Hospital on January 26 seeking an emergency order to have Ivermectin given to her husband.

After hearing testimony from two Mt. Sinai doctors, Manhattan Supreme Court justice Lynn Koller said she would not grant an emergency request to force Mt. Sinai to give Ivermectin to the deathly ill Covid patient based on Quintero-Sherry’s “paltry” evidence the treatment should be given against the recommendations from doctors.

The American Museum of Natural History in New York City began the removal of former President Theodore Roosevelt’s statue on Tuesday.

Protesters have long criticized the bronze statue depicting Roosevelt on a horse flanked by an African man and a Native American man on foot as a supposed representation of racism and colonialism.

As of Wednesday, the upper part of the statue had been lifted, and the rest of the monument was set to leave its current place in several parts by the end of the week, according to The New York Times.

• Formerly free Americans are arrested by the COVID GESTAPO for daring to go into the Cheesecake Factory.

A large group of unvaccinated New Yorkers participated in a “sit-in” at a Cheesecake Factory restaurant Tuesday night where six of the protesters ended up being arrested by the NYPD.

Footage uploaded to the internet shows the demonstrators trying to get service in the food chain as staff deny them assistance and instead call the police.

“The manager is asking you to leave; that’s their decision,” a police officer said when law enforcement arrived. “If you guys refuse to leave, we’re going to give you every opportunity to leave, but if you eventually refuse to leave when we tell you to leave, we will be arresting you.”

Over thirty individuals took part in the demonstration, and six of them ended up being arrested on criminal trespassing charges after the manager of the Queens Center Cheesecake Factory asked police to make them leave.

The NYPD told the Washington Examiner, “Officers gave several lawful orders to the group to leave the location, which they refused. Six protesters were placed under arrest without any further incident at 9:45 p.m. after refusing to comply to a lawful order.”

As anti-vaccine mandate protesters were cuffed and hauled off to jail, officers were shouted at and told that they were on the wrong side of history à la Nazi stormtroopers.

(ZeroHedge)  A federal judge in New York ruled on Tuesday that State Health Officials must allow employers to grant religious exemptions to a Covid-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers while a lawsuit challenging the mandate proceeds through the courts, according to the NY Times.

"The question is whether the State’s summary imposition of § 2.61 conflicts with plaintiffs’ and other individuals’ federally protected right to seek a religious accommodation from their individual employers," wrote Judge David N. Hurd, a Bill Clinton appointee.

"The answer to this question is clearly yes. Plaintiffs have established that § 2.61 conflicts with longstanding federal protections for religious beliefs and that they and others will suffer irreparable harm in the absence of injunctive relief," reads the 27-page ruling, which offers a reprieve for thousands of unvaccinated doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers who would have otherwise been fired or prevented from working on Tuesday if the ruling had gone the other way.

Hurd issued a preliminary injunction preventing the NY Department of Health from acting against any employer who grants religious exemptions, adding that the plaintiffs were likely to succeed in their case.

"The Department of Health is barred from interfering in any way with the granting of religious exemptions from Covid-19 vaccination going forward, or with the operation of exemptions already granted," reads the ruling.

New York Governor Kathy M. Hochul indicated that the state would appeal.

Per the NYP, for every Starbucks that’s in the five boroughs, there are at least two illicit massage parlors. In Queens, staffers at the nonprofit tracking the proliferation of sex trafficking in NYC has dound at least 269 open brothels, the illicit businesses outnumber Starbucks 5 to 1, the data from the intelligence-driven counter-trafficking organization that focuses exclusively on the illicit massage industry shows.

Many of the massage parlors blend in easily with their surrounding businesses. Take, for example, the Ming Happy Spa on Montague Street, which is wedged between two legal businesses, and handles mostly males in upscale dress.

In one of New York’s toniest neighborhoods, just a few blocks from the Brooklyn federal courthouse, a shady massage parlor is hidden in plain view. The Ming Happy Spa on Montague Street, conspicuously open until 1 a.m. seven nights a week, is next door to a high-end women’s boutique and operates an innocuous second-floor storefront that sees a steady stream of well-dressed male clientele late into the night. The alleged illicit massage business in the upscale neighborhood is one of at least 629 others currently operating across the five boroughs — a network of illegal enterprises so vast, they outnumber Starbucks 2 to 1 citywide, according to data from Heyrick Research.

For every Starbucks that’s in the five boroughs, there are at least two massage parlors. In Queens, which has at least 269 roughly open-air brothels, the illicit businesses out number Starbucks 5 to 1, the data from the intelligence-driven counter-trafficking organization that focuses exclusively on the illicit massage industry shows.

In case consumers are unaware, the reviews explicitly expose what the business truly is via sites like Oarkir, sort of an aggregator of reviews for massage parlors around NYC and the country.

In most recent reviews, the men claim they paid $60 for the massage and between $40 and $50 for the alleged sex act that came at the end and described in repulsive detail what groping they were allowed to do, how skilled the workers were and their overall rating of the experience. When reached by phone, the spa declined comment. Hundreds of such businesses across the five boroughs, from the Upper East Side to Staten Island, are reviewed on the website and many of them allegedly sell full-service sex, not just post-massage masturbation, the reviews indicate.

There has been a rise in soiled train cars this year according to Daily News including cases of feces, vomit, and blood.

The paper cited internal MTA reports.

An increase in used syringes is also being found amid growing drug use in the subway system.

“Incidents like this are unfortunate. They’re unsanitary for our customers and deeply unfair and disturbing for transit cleaners. They’re also a reminder of the need for more mental health outreach and social service support in the city and throughout the system,” MTA spokesperson Andrei Berman said in a statement to the paper.

After months of hinting at his frustrations with the high taxes and strict Covid-19 restrictions of the Big Apple, rapper Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson has joined the ranks of New Yorkers and Californians moving to Texas.

“I love New York, but I live in Houston now,” 50 Cent said on Tuesday in Twitter and Instagram posts. “I'll explain later.”

The rapper has apparently followed through after teasing in March that he was “headed to Texas.” 50 Cent made that statement when Governor Greg Abbott announced that he was halting the state's mask mandate and all remaining Covid-19 restrictions, declaring that “all businesses and families in Texas have the freedom to determine their own destiny.”

50 Cent has run afoul of social-distancing restrictions. During Super Bowl weekend in February, he reportedly hosted a massive party, sans masks, at an aircraft hangar in St. Petersburg, Florida – in violation of city guidelines. St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman threatened hefty fines, saying “it may end up costing someone a lot more than 50 cent.”

The move to Texas was also no doubt encouraged by the fact that the state has no income tax. New York City's top earners now face a combined tax rate of nearly 52% of their earnings, including 10.9% to the state, after Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law an increase in April.

The entertainer said last October that he would vote to re-elect President Donald Trump because Democrat nominee Joe Biden's fiscal policies would push his income taxes to a combined 62% of earnings. “I don't care [if] Trump doesn't like black people,” 50 Cent said. “62% – are you out of ya f***ing mind?”

His Trump endorsement triggered an avalanche of criticism from left-wing observers, including journalist David Leavitt, who called him “a selfish piece of s**t.” Comedian Chelsea Hander told 50 Cent that, as a black person, he “can't vote for Donald Trump.”

Manhattan DA Will No Longer Prosecute Prostitutes…

The Manhattan District Attorney will stop prosecuting prostitution and unlicensed massage cases — and is tossing thousands of warrants dating as far back as 1975.

DA Cyrus Vance Jr. appeared virtually Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court to ask Judge Charlotte Davidson to vacate 5,994 bench warrants and dismiss the underlying charges of prostitution, unlicensed massage and loitering for the purpose of prostitution.

The motion was granted and the cases dating back to 1975 were dropped.

For years, the Manhattan DA has offered people facing these charges services and programs.
