INSANE DEM Orders Workers to Wear Dog Cones

Retard Alert
You Just Can't Make This Shit Up

(Summit News)  -  The Governor of Maine has ordered restaurant staff to wear anti-COVID visors upside down so they resemble dog cones in order to direct breath upwards.

Yes, really.

Governor Janet Mills’ decree states that “front-of-house staff in restaurants who choose to wear face shields must now wear them upside down so that they are attached at the collar instead of the forehead, so that their breath is directed up, not down,” reports Maine Public Radio.

Given that air conditioning units can facilitate the spread of coronavirus, Mills’ order looks like another ridiculous and pointless measure.

“As a symbol of submission, forcing us to obliterate our individuality by wearing masks was not explicit enough,” writes Dave Blount. “So they pushed the envelope even further. No one can miss the significance of making people wear dog cones.”

Last week, the CDC announced that masks with valves, which millions of people around the world have been wearing for months, do “not prevent the person wearing the mask from transmitting COVID-19 to others.”

As we highlighted earlier, Sweden’s top expert on the coronavirus, Anders Tengell, warned that encouraging people to wear face masks is “very dangerous” because it gives a false sense of security but does not effectively stem the spread of the virus.

As we explain in the video below, the issue of masks has become both a logistical and political minefield.

Homeless Vets screwed in favor of illegal alien law breakers

Globalist politicians catering to migrants while Americans suffer

(Newswars)  -  Thousands of homeless and destitute Maine residents are being brushed aside as officials scramble to instead accommodate ‘asylum seekers’ who have recently arrived in the state from points around the globe.

Dozens of homeless Mainers, including veterans and families with children, expressed their frustrations to local CBS affiliate WGME, however most reportedly refused to go on record for fear of facing retribution or penalties as they await government aid.

“The I-Team found more than 18,000 Mainers are on a waiting list for Section 8 and that’s just one program to help low-income families get affordable housing,” WGME reports.

“Many of those people are homeless and hungry and have already been waiting years for their number to be called.”

Meanwhile, some 200 ‘asylum seekers’ who have been living in an emergency shelter at the Portland Expo center are now being moved quickly into temporary housing, while another 150 who arrived in June have already been relocated to units around the state.

The city of Portland has allocated some $870,000 from a donation fund to cover housing and food expenses.

“Of course when the asylum seekers come up here they offered them free housing. How do they have a place for them but not for us?” said Zanetta Smith, who spent five years in her car and now lives in a friend’s storage shed in the woods without toilet, shower, or running water.

“It was pretty tough in the wintertime,” said Smith, who reportedly lost her apartment after a serious illness that prevented her from being able to work. “You fall into bad times, and sometimes it’s hard to get out of it.”

Dan Brennan, director of the Maine State Housing Authority, claims the issues pertaining to Maine homeless and ‘asylum seekers’ are completely separate.

“There simply is not enough supply of units available for people who need them,” Brennan told WGME. “The asylum seekers are a very unique situation in which it’s a temporary situation for them, it’s not permanent housing. They’re not getting a housing opportunity that someone on the waiting list would be afforded.”

“We fully feel this short period of assistance will help the folks as they become self-sufficient and begin to settle here in Maine.”

Governor Janet Mills has reportedly assigned $172,303 from the Governor’s Contingency Account to cover a year of rent expenses for ‘asylum seekers.’

In June, when hundreds of Congolese migrants were unloaded in Texas after arriving at the southern border, San Antonio Assistant City Manager Colleen Bridger revealed that many of the new arrivals had been slated for relocation to Maine, but Portland officials reportedly begged out of the arrangement.

“The plan was 350 of them would travel from San Antonio to Portland,” Bridger told a local CBS station. “When we reached out to Portland, Maine, they said, ‘Please don’t send us anymore. We’re already stretched way beyond our capacity.'”

City Demands Pro-Trump Signs Be Removed

Freedom of Speech Banned
on Private Property

(NECN)  -  A Rockland, Maine, woman says she would rather go to jail than take down her pro-Donald Trump signs.

Susan Reitman has hung two banners on her front gate: One that says "I love Trump" and another that says "He Won, Get over it."

She received a notice from the city’s code enforcement office a few days ago, asking her to take them down.

"I was shocked," she said. "This is my freedom of speech. People have a right to voice their opinion."

Assistant Code Officer Bill Butler said another Rockland resident complained about the signs' size. The city ordinance states residential signs can be no larger than 2 square feet.

Reitman’s signs are a little larger than 3 feet by 2 feet.

"They’re well over the limit," Butler said.

He said residents need to apply for permits to display signs like that. They are able to follow an appeals process if their permits are denied.

She has until Friday to remove the banners, or else face a fine between $100-$1,000 a day.

Americans hired due to lack of foreign workers

Make America Great Again

  • The Elites want an endless tide of legal and illegal immigrants to drive down wages even though many Americans work two jobs trying to make ends meet and many others are homeless..

(Daily Caller)  -  Businesses in Bar Harbor, Maine are turning to locals to make up for a shortage of foreign guest workers that normally fill summer jobs in the bustling seaside resort town.
Because the H-2B visa program has already reached its annual quota, Bar Harbor’s hotels, restaurants and shops can’t bring in any more foreign workers for the rest of the busy summer tourist season. Like hundreds of similar coastal resort towns, Bar Harbor has for many years depended on the H-2B visas for temporary workers. The program allows non-agricultural companies to bring in foreign labor if they are unable to find suitable employees domestically.
Now they are coming up with creative ways to attract local labor, reports the Bangor Daily News.
The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce will hold a job fair Saturday in an effort to recruit significant numbers of workers from the region. Just about every kind of business in the town is looking for help, says chamber executive director Martha Searchfield.
“All types of businesses — retail, restaurants, the tour boats, all the trips, everything. All types of workers are needed,” she told the Daily News.
The shortage is so acute that companies are sweetening incentives for local workers. Searchfield says some businesses are offering flexible schedules that might appeal to older workers who might be interested in working only a day or two each week. And other companies have gone so far as to offer higher wages to entice locals.
The annual limit for H-2B visas is set at 66,000, half for the winter season and half for the summer.

High School To Provide Sports Hijabs

Creeping Sharia

(Daily Caller)  -  Deering High School in Portland, Maine, announced that it would begin providing Muslim girls who play sports hijabs so they can play while still representing their faith, CBS News reported Thursday.
High school officials chose to give all Muslim athletes lightweight sports hijabs in an effort to make them feel more comfortable and increase the overall desire to participate. Asiya, the company that manufactures the headwear, says that the school is the first in the U.S. with whom they have done business.
The idea materialized when the school’s athletic director, Melanie Craig, first heard about the product.
“Our kids know that, when they come through our doors, they’re safe, they’re honored and we honor individuality,” Craig said. “This was one way we could do it.”
Some nations like Saudi Arabia place strict limitations on female Muslim athletes, causing American Muslims to praise this decision as a breakthrough.
Co-captains of the tennis program Liva Pierce and Anaise Manikunda started a fundraiser for the garments, raising more than $800 online and buying a total of 25 hijabs for all Muslim athletes at Deering High.

ACLU Opposes Criminalizing Female Genital Mutilation

Creeping Sharia
Libs drop their pants and bend over for Islam

(Daily Caller)  -  The American Civil Liberties Union launched a vocal opposition this week against a Maine bill criminalizing female genital mutilation (FGM), Mainely Media reports.
Republican Rep. Heather Sirocki is sponsoring the bill, saying that it would classify performing FGM as a Class B crime in the state, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. The bill would also punish the parent or guardian of the victim.
However, the Maine ACLU staunchly opposes the protection. ACLU spokesman Oamshri Amarasingham said that the risk of mutilation isn’t worth expanding Maine’s criminal code. The Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault also supported the ACLU, arguing that FGM is not happening in Maine.
Sirocki, however, pointed to a 2012 report from the Center for Disease Control, which found 500,000 victims of FGM in the US. Furthermore, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement found that 400 individuals have been arrested and 785 deported for FGM violations nationwide since 2003.
Maine, Sirocki said, is one of the eight highest-risk areas in the US for FGM. The practice has proven to be so rampant in the state that it has received special federal funding to combat it.
Sirocki’s bill would also criminalize “vacation cutting,” the practice of flying briefly overseas to subject minors to FGM in nations that haven’t banned the practice.

Jesus "appears" in a slice of toast

Retard Alert
Yes, there is one born every minute

WINDHAM, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — A man in Windham believes a holy depiction has graced his piece of buttered toast.
George Maley's son, Andrew told NEWS CENTER, "I thought [dad] was lying. I thought it was completely fake, and then he showed me and my mind was blown."
Both Andrew and George, believe you can see the face of Jesus in the toast.
George Maley said he made the toast three weeks ago at his home. He was having a particularly hard day, missing loved ones who have passed away, when he saw the image in the toast.
"It was an answer to a lot of questions I had," George Maley said. "Even if it was just a brief image, it's still a sign, and it points in the right direction."
George Maley is keeping the toast preserved in the freezer.
He's hoping to sell it on eBay, and use the profits to help his two sons.

GOP looks to rig Maine elections

A Corrupt Republican Party

  • Here is California the GOP and Dems cut a midnight backroom deal to ban the word "independent" from the ballot. As an added bonus they reduced voter choices and also banned all minor political parties from all future general election ballots. After all too many choices on the ballot might confuse voters.
  • Well the march to authoritarianism goes on as Republicans in Maine look to ban the word independent from the ballot.

(Ballot Access News)  -  Maine Representative Beth Turner (R-Burlington) has introduced LD 568, which eliminates the ability of an independent candidate to use the label “independent” on the ballot. It also eliminates the ability of an unqualified party to place nominees on the ballot with that party’s label.
A somewhat similar law was struck down by the Massachusetts Supreme Court in 1981. The State Supreme Court decision was unanimous, and said “independent” is too important a label to be banned. The Massachusetts law that was struck down forced all independents to be on the ballot as “unenrolled.” The decision is Bachrach v Secretary of the Commonwealth, 415 NE 2d 832.
Also, in 1986, a Maine state trial court struck down the old Maine law on labels for petitioning candidates. The old pre-1986 law said they could have no label whatsoever, but in Huber v Quinn, that policy was struck down. Ever since the 1986 Maine decision, petitioning candidates in Maine have been free to choose any partisan label as long as it is no longer than three words and does not mimic the name of a qualified party. Thanks to John Branson for news about LD 568.

Maine propane dealer won't deliver to Trump voters

Frozen Trump Supporters in Winter

Goosestepping into the Future

  • Leftist business owners threaten their fellow citizens for daring to vote for the candidate of their choice.
  • Freedom of speech is under assault from the Left with the full cooperation of the Corporate Media Machine and Internet platforms.

(Lifezette)  -  An owner of a propane dealership in Maine is refusing to deliver gas to anyone who voted for President-elect Donald Trump.

Michael Turner, owner of Turner LP Gas in Skowhegan, Maine, recorded a voice mail greeting that leaves little question as to his feelings for those in his community who supported Trump.

“Thank you for calling Turner LP gas. If you voted for Donald Trump for president I will no longer be delivering your gas — please find someone else,” the message states.

Mr. Turner isn’t the first person to refuse to do business with Trump voters — in late November, Mathew Blanchfield, CEO of an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based marketing firm, issued a statement saying he would no longer work with Trump supporters.

But unlike Mr. Blanchfield who lives in a county that voted solidly for Hillary Clinton, Mr. Turner lives in a county that overwhelmingly supported Trump. Trump won Somerset County, Maine — in which Skowhegan is located — 57.73 percent to Hillary Clinton’s 35 percent.

But there is something slightly more disquieting to Mr. Turner’s anti-Trump message. Maine is of course a very, very cold place during the winter, and many Mainers, especially the state’s senior citizens, often rely on fuel deliveries to survive Maine’s harsh winter months.

Program teaches millennials how to grow up

Psychobabble Bullshit
Using psychobabble to teach Man-Children to be adults

PORTLAND, Maine  (BND Maine) — Thirty-five people gathered at a popular Portland bistro on a recent weeknight to learn how to talk.
Cards were passed and conversations sparked, but this group of branders, photographers, auditors and teachers weren’t merely networking. They were “adulting.”
“Small talk is hard for me,” said Julie Moulton, a thirtysomething marketing coordinator who was attending the happy hour networking class at Sur Lie on Free Street.
The event was organized by The Adulting School, a new program devoted to helping people learn skills they might not have picked up in college or from their parents. The founders take their inspiration from a similar program, The Society of Grownups, in Brookline, Massachusetts.

You've Gotta Love Millennials

Adulting is a newly verbed noun that Time magazine described as a way for millennials to “acknowledge and/or make fun of and/or come to grips with that transition [to adulthood] (or how late they are to it).”
“Our mission is to teach people to feel empowered,” said Rachel Weinstein, a psychotherapist who launched the effort with friend Katie Brunelle to “fill the gaps” that people may have missed along the road to adulthood.
“We are targeting millennials who grew up in the recession,” she said.
That generation is known for delaying typically adult trappings such as marriage, home ownership and steady careers in much greater numbers than their parents. And with classes in home economics pushed aside nationally for a narrower focus on academics, there seems to be room for programs such as The Adulting School to thrive.
Can you teach someone the tips and tricks of maturity? The program’s founders say yes, they can.
The startup’s mission statement to instill “life-knowledge we wish we’d learned in high school or college. We’re talking budgeting, investing, meal planning, getting out of debt … even how to change a tire, meditate or start a fire,” is done in informal happy hours. Classes are held at places where people including 27-year-old entrepreneur Laura Sprinkle feel comfortable learning, seeing and being seen.
“There is adult education, but that sounds lame,” Sprinkle said, sipping a glass of wine after listening to a 40-minute talk on the ins and outs of networking. “This is hip. I am going to cool bars I would go to anyway.”

Maine Governor GOES OFF on Ted Cruz Camp for Stealing Trump Delegates

Reason #63 to blow up
the convention system

  • Election Reform now! No more insider caucuses. No more insider state conventions. No more delegates selected by the bought off Elites.  There should be 50 state primaries and the candidates must be allowed to select their own delegates.

(The Gateway Pundit)  -  Maine Republican Governor Paul LePage endorsed Donald Trump for president in February before the Maine primary caucus.
Cruz won the state with 12 delegates. Trump was second with 9 delegates followed by John Kasich with 2 delegates.
This week the Cruz campaign, like they’ve done is several states, are cheating and stealing delegates from Trump at the state convention.
But this time Governor Paul LePage went off on the Cruz campaign for stealing delegates.
…No doubt the Ted Cruz supporters and FOX News will call this a “good ground game.”
Ted Cruz’s campaign faced more allegations of dirty tricks after the Maine governor, Paul LePage, took to Facebook to condemn the Texas senator’s campaign as being run by “greedy political hooligans.”
The fiery and controversial governor claimed on Friday that the Trump and Cruz campaigns had previously reached a “unity deal” to elect delegates to the national convention in proportion to results of the Pine Tree state’s 5 March caucuses.
Such an allocation would deliver 12 Cruz delegates, nine for Trump and two for John Kasich, the Ohio governor.
However, LePage, a Trump supporter, said on the eve of Maine’s state convention that the Cruz campaign had reneged on the deal, believing they could fill all 20 elected delegate slots on the ballot. “I can’t stand by and watch as Cruz and the Republican establishment forcibly overrule the votes of Mainers who chose Trump and Kasich,” said LePage.
While delegates are bound on the first ballot according to the results of state primaries and caucuses, they are unbound on subsequent ballots if a contested convention occurs. Such votes would have nothing to do with the results from the states and be solely decided by the individual delegates.
The Guardian can confirm there was discussion of a unity slate in Maine; sources disagree on whether a deal was ever reached.

Top Races in 2016: Mid-Atlantic States & New England

New Hampshire GOP Sen. Kelly Ayotte faces a tough campaign.

Roaring on to November

  • My quandary:  The Democrats are fucking Marxists and the Big Government loving Republicans are open borders whores for Wall Street. I am a man without a party.
  • Following these races is like watching a football game when you hate both teams.

(Roll Call)  -  This is the second in a series of regional looks at the most competitive House and Senate races to watch in 2016.
The Mid-Atlantic region includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Pennsylvania Senate:
Democratic Rep. Joe Sestak lost a close race to Republican Patrick J. Toomey in 2010, but that wasn’t enough to inspire the confidence of Democratic strategists who recruited former gubernatorial chief of staff Katie McGinty into the race. Either Democrat should be credible enough to give the senator a tough re-election race. Toomey had $8.6 million on hand on Sept. 30 and isn’t likely to get tripped up by silly mistakes, but he might be vulnerable to the winds of the presidential race.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup/Tilts Republican.
New York’s 24th District:
Republican John Katko defeated Democratic Rep. Dan Maffei in one of the late-breaking races of 2014 and with one of the most stunning margins of victory. Katko now represents a district which President Barack Obama won with 56 percent in 2008 and 57 percent in 2012. Democrats have three candidates in the race including Colleen Deacon, former district director to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who doesn’t have a voting record and could be a difficult opponent for Republicans.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call: Tossup.
New York's 24th Congressional District

Pennsylvania’s 8th District:
GOP Rep. Michael G. Fitzpatrick didn’t have many problems holding this competitive district, but his retirement creates an open seat takeover opportunity for Democrats. Democrats have a competitive primary between state Rep. Steve Santarsiero and small-business owner/2014 candidate Shaughnessy Naughton. The local GOP organization has coalesced behind state Rep. Scott Petri, but Fitzpatrick’s younger brother is serious enough about running to move back to Pennsylvania after working for the FBI in California, according to GOP sources.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup/Tilts Republican.

8th Congressional District of Pennsylvania

The New England region includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
New Hampshire Senate:
After nine months of waiting, the matchup is finally set in one of the most competitive Senate races in the country. Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan is challenging Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte in a race that could decide which party controls the Senate in 2017. Ayotte didn’t have a lot of trouble winning in a strong Republican year in 2010, while Hassan has never faced a candidate a strong as Ayotte.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tilts Republican.
Maine’s 2nd District:
Republican Bruce Poliquin defeated then-state Sen. Emily Cain last cycle to capture the Democratic open seat, and he hasn’t let up. The congressman had $1.3 million in his campaign account on Sept. 30 in advance of a potentially competitive re-election race. President Barack Obama won the district in 2008 by 12 points and in 2012 by 9 points, so it’s a virtual must-win for Democrats to get back to the majority, but Poliquin won’t be easy to unseat. Cain is running again and had $368,000 in the bank on Sept. 30, but faces Bangor City Councilman Joe Baldacci, brother of the former governor and congressman, in the Democratic primary.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup.
New Hampshire’s 1st District:
This seat switches party hands more often than I vacuum out the family minivan. The seat has switched party control in four of the past five elections. Republican Frank C. Guinta overcame his 2012 re-election loss by defeating Democratic Rep. Carol Shea Porter last cycle. She’s running again and could face Guinta for the fourth consecutive election. Guinta is still dealing with negative headlines from past campaign finance issues, but Republicans’ chances of holding the seat might improve if Guinta loses in the primary.
Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rating: Tossup.

Obama to continue importing Muslims

Open Borders America
  • We can endlessly bitch at Dear Leader Obama for importing Muslims, but there is a GOP controlled Congress that is doing nothing about closing the borders to Muslims or any other group.

(Washington Examiner)  -  President Barack Obama has no plans to revisit his proposal to allow Syrian refugees in the the United States, even after reports that one of the terrorists in the Paris attack Friday entered France disguised as a refugee.
When pressed by "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace, White House Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes said they are not "reconsidering" their plan to take in nearly 10,000 Syrian refugees, a plan that has been panned by many GOP 2016 candidates in the wake of the brutal terror attack, which left 129 dead and 350 injured.
"One of the attackers in the French slaughter was carrying a Syrian passport that seemed to indicate that he had been a refugee that had come into Europe along with a flood of migrants in October," Wallace said. "Given that, is President Obama reconsidering his plan to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees over the next year?"
"No, Chris, we're still planning to take in Syrian refugees," Rhodes said. "We have very robust vetting procedures for those refugees. It involves our intelligence community, our national counter-terrorism center, extensive interviews, vetting them against all information."
