Trump is planning to re-legalize light bulbs

Dim Bulbs in Washington

  • It took the fools in Washington almost three years to reverse the ban on Thomas Edison's light bulb.

Light bulbs that were set to be outlawed under an Obama-era regulation will stay on store shelves thanks to regulation rollback from the Trump administration.

Multiple outlets reported Wednesday that the Department of Energy had finalized a new rule striking a last-minute Obama regulation that outlawed certain kinds of light bulbs such as three-way bulbs, decorative bulbs, and “rough service lamps.

“This regulation gives consumers more choices, and consumers are better off with more choices,” a Trump DOE official explained to The Hill.

One of the reasons that the Obama administration offered for the regulation was that people might purchase the these light sources instead of “other regulated lamp types” like LED or compact fluorescent bulbs. The Obama administration’s 2017 regulation was set to take effect in 2020.

Critics say that the Trump administration’s latest move will end up costing consumers more because the less regulated bulbs use more electricity.

Nobody, however, will be forcing consumers to purchase and use less efficient light bulbs under the new rule, which is what the Trump Department of Energy said in the regulation.

“This rule does not prevent consumers from buying the lamps they desire, including efficient options,” the department. The department added that “the market is successfully transitioning to LEDs regardless of government regulation. Consumers are clearly taking advantage of the energy savings provided by LEDs.”

PROOF - 40% of Americans are Retarded

“Five percent of the people think;
ten percent of the people think they think;
and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think.”

(CNS News)  -  A majority of likely voters do not agree with House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that it would be “immoral” to build a wall to secure the nation’s southern border, a new national Rasmussen Poll shows.
While 53% of voters say a border wall is not immoral, 40% say it is. Only 7% are “not sure” whether or not a wall is immoral.
Views differed most drastically when broken out by political affiliation of likely voters, the survey shows, with 80% of Republicans saying the wall is not immoral and 65% of Democrats saying it is immoral. Fifty-eight percent of likely voters answering “Other” as their party say a border wall is not immoral.
“Is it immoral for the United States to build a wall on the border with Mexico to help stop illegal immigration?”
Republicans:
  • Immoral:        18%
  • Not Immoral: 80%
  • Not Sure:         2%

"Feminist Business School" To Fight "Masculine" Capitalism

How to Create a Venezuela Economy

  • Leftist bullshit is staggering. Capitalism has no gender or color.
  • In my profession I have fierce female competitors who would cut my nuts off and stuff them down my throat if given half a chance. They would eat these feel good "feminist" businesswomen alive.

(PJ Media)  -  People who yearn to become entrepreneurs may find guidance at the new Feminist Business School, an online program that aims to help women launch businesses founded upon the theory of “feminine entrepreneurship” and “body-loving business practices.”

Starting next week, the California-based Feminist Business School will play host to an eight-week online “Concepts and Conceptions” course, during which seasoned “midwives” will teach women about the stages of giving “birth” to a new business.

Each week of the course will focus on a different topic. Students will start with “getting grounded,” and will eventually progress into more advanced topics such as “the myth of meritocracy,” the “stages of birthing a business,” and “toppling the patriarchy.”

Understanding feminist theory before starting a business is crucial, since it will give you a “huge leg-up on established entrepreneurs” and  help you “avoid the frustrations and pitfalls of outdated masculine business models,” according to the program’s website.

The $1,200 class was developed by Jennifer Armbrust, an artist who graduated from Evergreen State University with a degree in critical theory. After graduating, she founded an art gallery, later becoming a performance artist in Portland, Oregon.

After working as a performance artist, Armbrust founded Sister, a California-based project aimed at promoting “teaching and tools for the feminine economy.” Coined by Armbrust, the “feminine economy” refers to a vision of business that shuns traditional capitalism.

“If capitalism is an economy that values masculine traits, what could another economy look like?” asks Armbrust, arguing that the traditional economy is based on masculine traits such as “individualism” and “speed and efficiency.”

These traits, Armbrust claims, should be shunned in favor of more feminine ones, such as “mindfulness,” “gratitude,” and “generosity” — all traits that can help promote the “redistribution of money and power.”

Buy American, Hire American says The Donald

The Trump Train Move On

  • You have to search long and hard to find ANY Democrats or Republicans who give a crap about the American worker and businessman.  Trump stands almost alone on the subject.

(CNSNews.com) - President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order requiring the government to “aggressively promote and use American-made goods and to ensure that American labor is hired to do the job.”

Speaking to a crowd at the Snap-On Tools facility in Kenosha, Wis., Trump said the Buy American, Hire American executive order will protect American workers, because it requires that American projects be made with American goods.

“First, we will fully monitor, uphold and enforce our Buy American laws - which we haven’t done. Buy American laws require that when the federal government buys, builds, or funds a project, domestic goods and products should be used, but over the years these Buy American standards have been gutted by excessive waivers and reckless exemptions,” he said.

“The result has been countless jobs and countless contracts that have been lost to cheap subsidized and low quality foreign goods. With this order, I am directing every single agency in our government to strictly uphold our Buy American laws, to minimize the use of waivers, and to maximize Made in America content in all federal projects,” the president said.

“And for the first time ever, we are going to crack down on foreign bidders that use dumped steel and other subsidized goods to take contracts from workers like you. They take them away, and they’ve been doing it for a long time. Not going to happen anymore. We are finally standing up for our workers and for our companies,” Trump said.

“No longer are we going to allow foreign countries to cheat our producers and our workers out of federal contracts,” the president said. “Everyone in my administration will be expected to enforce every last Buy American provision on behalf of the American worker, and we are going to investigate every single trade deal that undermines these provisions.”

The executive order also protects the jobs and wages of American workers.

“Secondly, we are going to enforce the Hire American rules that are designed to protect jobs and wages of workers in the United States. We believe jobs must be offered to American workers first,” Trump said.

“Right now, widespread abuse in our immigration system is allowing American workers of all backgrounds to be replaced by workers brought in from other countries to fill the same job for sometimes less pay. This will stop,” he said.

The president also announced that he would reform the H1B visa program to give preference to highly skilled immigrant workers.

“American workers have long called for reforms to end these visa abuses, and today their calls are being answered for the first time. That includes taking the first steps to set in motion a long overdue reform of H1B visas,” the president added.

“Right now, H1B visas are awarded in a totally random lottery, and that’s wrong. Instead, they should be given to the most skilled and highest paid applicants, and they should never ever be used to replace Americans,” Trump said.

School Cancels Honors Night Because it’s too “Exclusive”

The Dumbing Down of America
Our moronic Socialist "educators" are frightened to
death that someone might excel in life.

Citing concerns about the “exclusive nature” of the annual honors night at Archie R. Cole Middle School, the Rhode Island school officials have decided to scrap the tradition.

Instead, students who would normally be recognized at the annual spring tradition will be honored during team-based recognition ceremonies and graduation.

The notice was sent to parents over the weekend in an e-mail signed by School Principal Alexis Meyer and Assistant Principal Dan Seger reports the East Greenwich Patch.

“Members of the school community have long expressed concerns related to the exclusive nature of Honors Night,” the email stated.

Translation  -  The students that spend weeks on end tweeting or playing video games might be offended if those who work hard succeed in life.

By having the recognition ceremonies during team-based ceremonies, it will “afford us the opportunity to celebrate the individual and collective success of all students and their effort, progress and excellence.”

One parent told ABC6 that he's not happy with the change.

“How else are they suppose to learn coping skills, not just based on success, but relative failure, it might not be failure, but understand what it takes to achieve high levels,” said parent Joe Kosloski.
