A GOP Deer in the Headlights

The Fiscal Cliff  -  Republicans act like a deer in the headlights when talk turns to spending
  • The Republicans have no plan to save America from bankruptcy
  • You need to have something and believe in something first in order to present a clear message to the voters.

By Gary;

I admit it.  I am a political junkie and have been all my life.

But if my life depended on it I could not tell you what the GOP budget plan is.  If I can't then you can be sure that the millions of voters out there can't either.

Simply, the Republicans have no plan to save America from bankruptcy.  None.  Zero.  Nada.

That makes it hard to stand before the TV cameras and either defend or advocate something that does not exist.  Because they have nothing to say, Republicans look like a deer in the headlights on TV.  Voters pick up on that fast.

Even the phony so-called Ryan "Plan" increased spending and added trillions to the national debt.  So don't bother to go there.

Do Republicans have a spine? or a brain?

Keep it Simple Stupid (KISS)

The KISS method is always best.  I offer this plan to the Republicans at no charge whatsoever.

Freeze spending and hiring at current levels.

That is simple enough for even the most dim of voters to understand.  Freeze spending.  As tax revenue naturally increases over time the budget will balance itself with little pain.  As government workers retire on their own they will not be replaced thus lowering spending.

Now was that hard?  No

Is that easy to explain and defend to voters?  Yes.

So where is the moronic GOP leadership?
