POLICE STATE - DHS to buy 450 million rounds of ammo

The Coming American Police State.
The Federal Government is pulling the noose tighter and tighter around the throats of a self-absorbed and oblivious American Sheeple obsessed with Twitter, Facebook and the latest celebrity breast implants.

Feds to buy 450,000,000 .40 caliber hollow point rounds for the Department of Homeland Security
  • The war in Iraq only used 66 million rounds a year.
  • Just take a wild guess what the Hell the DHS could use that many rounds for?

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), an agency that says its main purpose now is to thwart “homegrown terrorism,” has awarded a contract to ammunition manufacturer ATK for acquiring 450 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow point ammo.
You can view the announcement of the ammunition purchase at this press release:

Many people may not know this, but “hollow point” ammunition is never purchased for practice or training. This ammunition is purchased for the sole purpose of being used in active fighting. At the same time, it is a violation of the Geneva Convention to use hollow point ammunition on the battlefield.
This is crucial to understand. It means the federal government is acquiring this ammunition to be used against the American people.
The DHS does not fight wars overseas.
The DHS is a domestic agency with domestic responsibilities. Its purchase of .40 ammunition is a clear and obvious indication that DHS plans to wage some type of war on the American people.
In active battle operations in Iraq, ammunition was expended at the rate of 5.5 million rounds per month.  That’s 66 million rounds in a year.
One has to wonder what 450,000,000 rounds would be used for.

The 'Coming' Police State? This reader submits a police state in the U.S.A. has already arrived. Arguably beginning in 1913 with the advent of the Federal Reserve Act, clearly visible at the signing of the Patriot Act, and officially 'here' when considering the ramifications of the National Defense Authorization Act. The United States Government is accountable to no one - "We The People" know. The mask is being removed. Welcome to Germany 1938.

As for 450 million rounds of .40 cal. hollow points: There is no way for this wanna-be sovereign to confirm the actuality of this story. Discounting internet information gathering experiment, psy-ops etc; let us consider for a moment the story factual. The proverbial, they, intend using it. A much more visually demonstrative method of extermination than any distant gas chamber.

Thanks for posting.

We need to keep in mind that not one cent can be spent by the Feds without the approval of the GOP House of Representatives.

This is the time for Republicans to stand up against creeping Fascism and cut off that spending or admit to all that they are simply Fellow Travelers.

Gary, I can say this: I was the Rangemaster for my 2,000+ member major Fornicalia law enforcement department. I had a HELLUVA time trying to order .40 cal for my troops during the early 2000s, because of the war in Iraq. You may or may not know that major ammo manufacturers don't run numerous lines of different calibers simultaneously; they tend to run lines of one caliber at a time.

That said, my .40 cal orders for our Sig P229s were placed on the back burner for the priority orders of 5.56, .308 and 9mm.

Which tells me that this .40 cal order is DISPLACING lines of standard military orders as noted above. Because the federal government decreed it so.

.40 cal is NOT a military round, particularly in hollow point, plain and simple.
