Big Brother comes to life with "Pre-Crime"

“This is a mournful discovery.
1)Those who agree with you are insane.
2)Those who do not agree with you are in power.”
― Philip K. Dick

The Minority Report:   "Mr. Marks, by mandate of the District of Columbia Precrime Division, I'm placing you under arrest for the future murder of Sarah Marks and Donald Dubin that was to take place today, April 22 at 0800 hours and four minutes."

The Pre-Crime Police  -  Science Fiction and Big Brother merge into one giant clusterfuck

The great Science Fiction writer Philip K. Dick saw a grim future Big Brother world.  That vision has made it to film in Blade Runner and Total Recall.  Dick's vision in Minority Report was of a police state based on arresting "criminals" befroe a crime is even committed (Pre-Crime).  That nightmare is now coming true.

The Associated Press reports that the East Orange, New Jersey police force plans to cut crime by highlighting suspects with a red-beamed spotlight– before any crime is committed– a “pre-crime” deterrent to be mounted on nearby street lights or other fixtures.

Police officers will monitor hundreds of video feeds from across the city and opt to brand would-be criminals with a red glow if they believe they are about to engage in a crime.

Big Brother uses 'Precrime' to control the Sheeple

Talking cameras in the UK bark orders at ‘anti-social’ offenders, while the Homeland Stasi here has partnered with Intellistreets to release “smart” street lights capable of saving energy while monitoring & recording citizens, as well as displaying government-mandated emergency alerts on digital banners reports Infowars.

Now “pre-crime” spotlights that bathe surveillance targets in a criminally-branded red color will help complete the circle of preemptive suspicion.

A spokesperson for the ACLU noted a worrisome climate of monitoring and spying on political groups, anti-abortion activists and more.

Big Brother is watching your every move
