How About Some Equal Time?
- The corrupt bought and paid for Elite Media only allows you to hear from the two special interest funded Washington D.C. based parties. So as a public service here is an alternative point of view.
2003 - When The GOP Abandoned Me
By Gary;
Looking back, I made a serious mistake in the election of 1992. I voted for the proven liar "Read my lips, no new taxes" George H.W. Bush instead of Ross Perot.
My lips were so firmly planted in backside of the GOP that I failed to understand Perot's message of nationalism, no more new debt and the exportation of American jobs out of the U.S.
The Big Government fool George W. Bush was no better. Backed his "small government" GOP Congress, Bush massively grew the size, scope and debt of the Federal government while allowing open borders to re-pay his Masters on Wall Street who want cheap labor.
So about 2003 I resigned from the Left-Wing big government loving Republican Party. For a few years I registered in the Libertarian Party and even took out papers to run for Congress on their ticket.
But pure libertarianism and I are not a good fit. By nature I am a Constitutional Federalist - thus was born this Federalist Blog.
I re-registered in the California GOP in 2012 to vote for Ron Paul in the Presidential primary. But the GOP has moved so far left that I am a RINO - A Republican in name only.
We Need a New Federalist Party
Effectively I am really a member of the Federalist Party. The problem is all my party leaders died long ago. We need a new Federalist Party (or Tea Party) to challenge the two Big Government parties that run Washington.
Unfortunately, we Constitutional Federalists have no choices on our ballots. The "small government" GOP started backtracking on their campaign promises about five minutes after the 2014 elections were over.
So in 2015 - 2016 expect to see the GOP Congress to keep those borders wide open, to ring up more debt, protect the Marxist re-distributive income tax, and not abolish one single meaningful government spending program.
I have Blogged that we need election reform, but that will never happen. We are doomed to ruled over by an Elite Oligarchy.
