Acclaimed Actor Kevin Sorbo Warns of Govt Tyranny

Kevin Sorbo Speaks Out on Tyranny

For almost two decades, Sorbo has earned fame and success for his portrayal of Hercules in Hercules -- The Legendary Journeys, and Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda, as well as Kull in Kull the Conqueror, among other film and television roles.

"Being on Hercules gave me international fame. I loved it, and I loved being in New Zealand. The camaraderie, humor and laughter on the set were all a blessing, and it was great that the show went on for that long," he said.

On his latest projects, he remarked, "I do a lot of things. My most recent movie God's Not Dead has just exploded out there. With a $2 million budget, we made a close to $63 million in the United States. That has been a big blessing and it comes out on August 5 on DVD."

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
Hercules was produced from January 16, 1995 to November 22, 1999, and was very loosely based on the tales of the classical Greek culture hero Heracles.
It ran for six seasons, producing action figures and other memorabilia as it became one of the highest rated syndicated television shows in the world at that time. Later it would be surpassed by its own spinoff show, Xena: Warrior Princess.
