NEWS AND VIEWS THAT IMPACT LIMITED CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT

power to endanger the public liberty." - - - - John Adams

Congressman Frank Wolf is an idiot

GOP Congressman Wolf never heard of the Bill of Rights
and spends his time attacking those "evil" video games the common people play.

Some damn fool appointed an idiot to chair a Congressional committee . . . but what else is new?
  • Those "small government" Republicans just can't stop themselves from attacking private businesses that dare to produce entertainment products without the permission of the all-powerful Big Brother State.

Police State  -  The nation is going fucking bankrupt at light speed and "small government" GOP leaders are obsessing about evil video games corrupting America.

And Republicans wonder why voters look at them as half nuts on election day. . . . Hell, they are nuts.

Maybe Republicans (and Democrats too) should re-read the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers instead of Das Kapital or Mein Kampf.

"As a grandparent or parent, to pretend these violent video games don't make a difference—it's crazy," said Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) at a hearing of the House Appropriations subcommittee on Commerce, Science and Justice, which he chairs.

Idiot Alert
GOP Rep. Frank Wolf

During a discussion of background checks and potential gun control measures, Wolf made clear he views action against the video game industry as necessary to reduce violence in the U.S.

"The next step of the three-legged stool is to deal with the issue of these violent video games," Wolf said in a passionate discussion during an oversight hearing with Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz reports Politico.

"Ever seen 'Grand Theft Auto?' It is violent. Garbage in, garbage out," Wolf added. "There's another one called 'Call of Duty.' It is violent."

Wolf also complained that the industry has "so many" lobbyists in town and told Horowitz he could get rich by going to work for the video game makers.

Comrade Barack Obama's anti-gun-violence initiative announced in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting called for greater study of possible links between violent video games and violent tendencies among young people. However, our Dear Leader proposed no regulation or legislation on the subject—moves which would likely raise First Amendment concerns.

The "Evil Violent" Mario Kart
I have personally fired thousands of red and green turtle shells up the asses of my opponents.  I have a simple message for Congressman Wolf:  "Take your Fascist ideas and shove them up your ass."

John Wayne in The Searchers
While our Fascist Congressman is at it, does he plan to extend his outrage at violence to John Wayne?  In The Searchers Wayne plays a racist who kills Indians.  We can't have that can we Mr. Wolf?

The Passion of the Christ
If violence on the screen is to be eliminated then Big Brother Wolf needs to start by censoring or banning all movies about Jesus.

I do agree with 95% of what you say, but on Frank Wolf and the impact of video gaming as well as violence as portrayed in the motion picture industry and television and the effect it is having on the youth today, you are wrong, it does have an extremely negative effect on the youth and how they perceive there fellow humans.

If you can go back in your memory to the times when we imposed age restrictions on media content, it allowed for the minds of the youth to at least reach a fundamental point of development, as well as parents and old school teachers had taken the time and effort to teach the youth values long before the age of consent, long before exposure to the belligerent content of age restricted material, so that the early learned and then much more stable youth could withstand and know the difference between reality and the bullshit spewed by today's entertainment industry.

You simply cant deny that anyone under the age of 40 has little to no concept of what it was to be or live through wars and conflicts, and all of them are so anesthetized by what they see today and have so been converted into herds of political cattle to be milked dry by the political class that they simply do not understand that they have no long term future and that the worst the planet has to face is still to come.

Morons like obama simply feed the craziness so that they can ultimately profit from it both politically and financially.

Just something to think about.

Sorry, but I am afraid I can deny that.

We have had nothing but wars from the day I was born with millions of vets of those wars living among us.

In recent times we have had the Panama War, the Gulf War, the Bosnian War, Afghan War, Iraq War and the Libyan War. Add in we have more secret wars in Somalia and Yemen.

War and violence is eternal to man. Censorship is man's response to pretend that violence does not exist.
