(Campus Reform)  -  The “Knights for Socialism” group at the University of Central Florida (UCF) held a workshop Sunday to teach left-wing students how to “BASH THE FASH” with a “Leftist Fight Club” open to everyone but Republicans.

The description explains that a local amateur boxer was on hand to teach basic hand-to-hand combat techniques at the self-defense clinic, in order to help the socialist students better protect themselves from potential hate crimes performed by those sympathetic to “Donald Trump and other Alt-Right Neo-Nazis.”

The event planners specifically urged women to attend because they expect a rise in sexual violence due to the election of President Trump.

“Ladies: The Commander in thief is a sexual predator and rapist,” the description warns. “He has normalised sexual assault and it is expected that sexual violence against women is going to skyrocket in the next 12 months. Please join us! There will be other women there for you to spar against!”

Scott Benton, a UCF College Republican, told Campus Reform that he considers the impulse toward violence to be a natural consequence of the intellectual indefensibility of leftists beliefs, saying, “If you can’t hang with someone on a debate stage, then you resort to other means to try and justify your cause.”

(Washington Free Beacon)  -  Amidst employees in tears following the election of Donald Trump, the Environmental Protection Agency is offering counseling sessions on “dealing with change.”

Axios obtained slides from one of the 45-minute seminars, entitled, “Feeling pressured? Worried about change at EPA?”

Topics included “How to deal with change,” “How do you keep your composure and make better decisions under pressure?” “How can you spend your energy more wisely—and have more as a result?” and “How do you recognize and eliminate harmful habits that cause you stress?”

The agency’s Employee Counseling and Assistance Program held the sessions, which also covered “How can you stop yourself from getting hurt and/or angry?”

A spokesperson for the EPA told Axios that the counseling was part of regular training available to employees, and that “dealing with change” was “just one of the more recent ones that were offered.”

EPA employees are still coming to work in tears more than two months after Trump’s victory.

(Washington Times)  -  Complaints about election fraud almost inevitably hail from the right, but Republican Donald Trump’s unexpected presidential win has left-wingers raising millions for recounts in key swing states to make sure the race wasn’t hacked.

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein plans to file Friday for a recount in Wisconsin after collecting the necessary $1.1 million fee, the first step in a three-state recount challenge that has raised more than $5 million since Wednesday.

After blowing past the original goal of $2.5 million in less than 24 hours, the party has upped the ante to $7 million in order to cover the costs of recounts in two other battleground states, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

“These recounts are part of an election integrity movement to attempt to shine a light on just how untrustworthy the U.S. election system is,” said the Green Party in a Wednesday statement.

The Greens insist that their aim is not to flip enough votes to throw the election to Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, but rather to start an “election integrity movement.”

(Washington Free Beacon)  -  Colleges throughout the country are offering students a variety of therapeutic activities after Donald Trump was elected president on Tuesday night.

The Wall Street Journal highlighted a number of examples from across the country.

Students at Cornell University gathered to hold a “cry-in” with students drinking hot chocolate and using tissues handed out by school staff. The University of Kansas announced that it would regularly bring in therapy dogs to campus while Tufts University had arts and crafts on hand.

Such initiatives have immediately attracted criticism for students being too emotional over the election results and unable to withstand disappointment. Schools defended the gentle treatment by saying that students have real concerns about Trump’s presidency.

Some teachers even cancelled classes so that students could “recover,” the Journal reported.

Still, Alan Peel, an astronomy lecturer at the University of Maryland canceled a test scheduled for Wednesday morning, writing to students that he worried some of their performances may be affected by “the monumental effort necessary to accept what must be a personally threatening election result.”

He opened the message, “Given that the nation in which you currently reside decided last night to elect a president whose own words have painted him a moral and possibly physical hazard to many of us …,” according to a copy reviewed by the Wall Street Journal.

Julia Abraham, a 19-year-old student in the class, said she was relieved by the news and supported her professor’s decision. “Our class is very diverse,” she said, including “many who are directly targeted by Mr. Trump.” She said she thought “a bit of grieving time” would allow students to perform better on the test down the line.

When a teacher at the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education told his 11 doctoral students that class was optional the next day, six said they were not coming.

Towns across Sweden have banned Christmas street lights in the name of “security,” but the real reason is almost certainly because the country has completely capitulated to Islam after importing countless Muslim migrants over the last two years.

According to an SVT report, The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) will not allow municipalities to erect Christmas street lights on light poles that the authority manages, meaning that many towns will have no festival lights at all on major streets.

According to Speisa, “The change is a victory for those who want to tone down the reminder of the country’s Christian traditions, but according to the Swedish Transport Administration, the decision for the drastic change is “security”.

“Poles are not designed for the weight of Christmas lights, and we have to remove anything that should not be there,” said Eilin Isaksson, national coordinator at the Swedish Transport Administration.

The argument that the lights are too heavy and pose a safety risk sounds like complete baloney.

Swedes are being asked to believe that lights normally held up by tree branches are now too weighty to be supported by metal poles.

Despite there being no safety issue with the street lights for decades, this new rule has been instituted right after record numbers of Muslim migrants flooded into the country – just a coincidence I’m sure.

In reality, the Christmas lights ban is almost certainly an effort to avoid offending Muslim migrants who are causing chaos in cities like Malmo, where the firebombing of cars and businesses in or near Muslim ghetto ‘no-go areas’ is becoming a routine occurrence.

As we previously reported, a top Swedish Bishop advocated removing crosses from a Christian church and replacing them with Islamic symbols in order to please Muslims.

Last Christmas, it was also announced that a Christmas Eve special broadcast on public television would be hosted by a Muslim woman.

Some areas of Sweden are even capitulating to returning ISIS terrorists by offering jihadists free driving licenses and housing benefits to help them “reintegrate into the job market”.

(Gates of Vienna)  -  The latest attempt by the British government to silence Tommy Robinson has failed: Today a judge threw out a police banning order against Mr. Robinson for his display of a banner at the Euro football tournament in France last June.

Tommy’s “crime” had been to hold up a sign that read “F*** ISIS”, which was said to incite hatred of Muslims. The judge may not realize it, but if he had upheld the police order, he would have been implicitly acknowledging that Islam and ISIS are essentially the same thing.

Thus the banning order might have been upheld if Tommy had displayed a banner with “F*** Islam” or something similar written on it. So today’s decision is hardly an indication that free speech has returned to the UK.

Tommy was able to win this victory because of his ability to hire effective legal counsel. This would not have been possible without the establishment of his legal fund, and the concerted drive for donations to it. 

Thanks to you, the readers of Gates of Vienna and other “Islamophobic” websites, Tommy had effective representation in court.

Today’s good news is a reminder of the importance of keeping the Tommy Robinson fund topped up. Every time the British establishment has another go at him, Tommy’s trustees are required to draw down the fund to pay his legal fees (a Q.C. in this case, if I’m not mistaken). I doubt HM government has given up on their attempts to suppress him, so this will be an ongoing process.

The eye-opening observations were made by former Department of Homeland Security officer Philip Haney at the ACT for America 2016 Conference Tuesday.

Haney warned that most Muslims do not migrate to America with the intention of assimilating into American culture.
