Worshiping at the shrine of
I am the ultimate superhero fanboy, and I never pass up a chance to worship at the Shrine of Jennifer Lawrence. So a combo of X-Men and Jennifer cannot be resisted.
Rule #1 - Always ignore movie critics before seeing any film. With some of the bad media vibes about X-Men Apocalypse I especially avoided reviews. After all, many of these "professional" critics after hate the movie genres they are forced to review.
Going in blind so to speak worked. Director Byran Singer has put together an excellent film.
The special effects are outstanding. But best of all Singer takes on a rather massive cast of characters and makes it work.
A tip of the hat has to go to the new actors playing Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Quicksilver and Nightcrawler. They all did good jobs.
Critics trashed the movie. But fans on Rotten Tomatoes gave it a solid 74%. I side with the fans.

Daredevil on Netfilx
Ah the changes we are seeing in programming. An Internet service that streamed the products others made is now making original productions.
Marvel Comic's Daredevil was never a favorite character of mine. Unlike many, I did enjoy the 2003 film with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. I even bought the blu ray director's cut which is even better.
So with some positive experience I powered through season one in a binge watch.
Nexflix has to keep the budget lower, but the show came together rather well. Charlie Cox who plays the title character does an excellent job. I loved Deborah Ann Woll in True Blood and she is a great character at the Murdock law firm. High marks also to Vincent D'Onofrio who plays the Kingpin.
A very satisfying outing. Looking forward to season 2.
