The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

Oh Jennifer my Love

By Gary;

Regular readers of The Federalist know I have a shrine to Jennifer Lawrence in an extra bedroom.  Every evening I light the candles.  Coming soon will be a 3D lifelike mannequin.

But enough of my deviant fantasies.

Those of you who have not seen The Hunger Games are to be pitied and even mocked. But you can redeem yourself this weekend by getting off your lazy butts and over to the theater.

The Hunger Games book triogy has sold over 65 million copies in the U.S.  I have not been burdened with having read the books so I can judge the film series on its own merits.

My ratings for the series.

9 out of 10  -  The Hunger Games
8 out of 10  -  The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
7 out of 10  -  The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1
9 out of 10  -  The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2

Without going into spoilers I was highly entertained by the final installment of the series.  Lots of action and lots of Jennifer on the screen.  And even though he is a Canadian, Donald Sutherland is a national treasure.

Enjoy.
