Random Thoughts - Americans Used To Work

January 1937
"Part of the family of a migrant fruit worker from Tennessee, camped near the packinghouse in Winter Haven, Florida."  35mm nitrate negative by Arthur Rothstein for the Farm Security Administration.  Translation:  Americans of European heritage used to pick crops.

These pictures struck me.

Back in the olden days, before the welfare state, Americans of all ethnic backgrounds worked on farms.  Hell, my Mom picked crops in Iowa on the family farm.

But today businesses bribe Democrat and Republican politicians with campaign cash to pay welfare to Americans not to work (at American wages) and then to import foreigners at lower wages to fill an artificially created "labor shortage".

As 2014 progresses the political liars talk about immigration "reform".  But remember 80% of that reform is all about importing and legalizing millions of new workers to compete directly against Americans for a limited number of jobs and to drive wages down.

Americans Are Lazy Bastards
Welcome to the new and "improved" 21st century America.  Work?  That is for suckers.  Just keep sending that Marxist re-distributed taxpayer cash to my EBT card please.
