Trump's trade message resonates in Pennsylvania

NOT being a Republican pays off

  • "Regular" Republicans fall all over themselves to export middle class jobs to Mexico and Asia while importing cheap labor for Wall Street.
  • Independent Conservative Trump will gain ground in the rust belt because voters know he is not on the payroll of open borders Wall Street interests.

(Politico)  -  Donald Trump's attacks on trade agreements and promises to uphold "law and order" are attractive to many Pennsylvania voters, putting the state's 20 electoral votes in play in the presidential election, former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said Tuesday.

"It resonates. There's no question about it," Rendell said during an interview at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia with POLITICO Playbook hosts Mike Allen and Anna Palmer.

Rendell, a Democrat who served as governor from 2003 to 2011, said the amazing thing to him is that Trump's practice of outsourcing jobs to manufacture his brand-name products "doesn't seem to matter" to many older white voters drawn to his message.

"The toughest task is to get those voters to listen," Rendell said, adding that even attempts to tie Trump to unpopular policies of the Republican Party have not been particularly effective in changing minds.

Four years ago, Mitt Romney lost Pennsylvania and several other big Rust Belt states, including Ohio and Michigan, in his bid to unseat Barack Obama from the White House.

The Reform Party has taken over the GOP

The Impossible Happened
The People took the GOP over from
the open borders special interests

By Gary;

Rush Limbaugh always said not to go third party but to take over the GOP from within.

Well a funny thing happened. The Reform Party took over the GOP from within.

In 1992 and 1996 Ross Perot's Reform Party campaigned on saving American jobs from moving to Mexico, building the military and balancing the budget.

The Reform Party was defeated by the bought and paid for open borders and big spending Democrats and Republicans.  The brainwashed Sheeple were hoodwinked, but seeds were planted for the future.

Slowly everything Perot warned us about has come true.  Working class and open minded Conservatives began to see Perot was right as open borders brought endless immigration to lower wages and the export of middle class jobs to Communist nations like China and Vietnam.

Since 1995 the GOP controlled Congress has refused to close the borders or prevent job loss.

The only "answer" Republicans have to job loss is cut taxes for the rich Wall Street interests who have bribed the party with campaign money to keep the borders open.

Trump is hated by GOP office holders because in his heart he is NOT a Republican.  Trump is a true disciple of Ross Perot.

Voters will neither remember Perot, nor will they ever admit they have adopted his party platform. But the Reform Party is back and turning the Wall Street run GOP into a working man's party.

Clinton watched Trump's presidential moves in 2000

Independent Conservatism

  • The photo above is one of the many reasons I like The Donald. He is an independent, pro-business Conservative who wants to balance the budget. That drives the big spending Leftists in the GOP insane.
  • At the time The Donald was considering a tax on the rich to balance the budget. While I am not crazy about new taxes, the GOP "plan" has been the endless printing of money by the Fed to cover their Big Government spending.

(Politico)  -  Aides to President Bill Clinton tracked real estate mogul Donald Trump's flirtation with a White House bid in the 2000 race, according to records released on Tuesday by the Clinton Library, but there was no evidence in the newly published files of a particularly close relationship between Trump and the president or First Lady Hillary Clinton.

Despite the lack of bombshells in the records, they do call attention to some of Trump's past positions that won't be appealing to some Republican voters. A news story from 1999 entitled, "Trump has plan to soak the rich," caught the attention of President Clinton's deputy press secretary at the time, Jake Siewert.

"We may need guidance on this," Siewert wrote to members of Clinton's economic team. The November 1999 Associated Press story by reporter Ron Fournier said Trump had proposed raising $5.7 trillion in government revenues to erase the federal debt by imposing a 14.25 percent tax on the net worth of wealthy Americans.

Before a Clinton trip to California in January 2000, other White House aides gathered up poll numbers showing Trump at 1 percent in an "open primary" survey of California voters.

Other White House staffers seemed well aware Trump was mulling a presidential bid. "Donald Trump....has his eye on the big JOB," Clinton press aide Lisa Ferdinando wrote that same month to a staffer in the office of Vice President Al Gore, who was the Clinton team's preferred candidate.

Clinton's aides also prepared proposed answers to questions he might receive about Trump and other celebrities toying with bids for the White House in the 2000 cycle.

"I think it may say something about the way the media covers politics these days, but I have the utmost confidence in the American people to sort out the wheat from the chaff," aides counseled Clinton to say at an October 1999 press conference if asked about the possibility Trump or movie stars such as Warren Beatty or Cybil Shepherd might run.

Many 'lost' voters find their candidate in Trump

Reform Party candidate Ross Perot and Trump.

I am Happy Trump is a RINO

  • The corrupt GOP machine claims Trump is not a real Conservative. To that I say, "Thank God".
  • The so-called real GOP "Conservatives" have voted to gut the military and ring up mountains of debt.
  • I regret my 1992 party loyalty vote for the Great Liar George H.W. Bush. Never again. I have no problem backing an outsider like Trump who will fight the corrupt Conservative Establishment.

(Reuters)  -  Ted Wade hasn’t cared about politics enough to cast a vote in a U.S. presidential election for almost a quarter of a century, back when he supported Ross Perot’s independent candidacy in 1992.
But Republican Donald Trump's 2016 White House bid has motivated Wade to get involved and he plans to support the real estate mogul in Nevada’s nominating caucus next month. Trump is a "non-politician" who can fix the "chaos" in Washington, he says.
About one in 10 Americans who plan to cast a vote this election will do so for the first time in years, if ever, and Trump holds a decided edge with them, according to polling by Reuters/Ipsos. (http://tmsnrt.rs/1SgeLvi)
These voters offer Trump a pool of voters who could be decisive either in the Republican primaries or a general election. They could be crucial for Trump in early-voting states such as Iowa and South Carolina, where his nearest rival, Senator Ted Cruz, is putting pressure on Trump and enjoys a strong base of support with more traditionally conservative voters.
In Reuters/Ipsos polling from June to December 2015, 27.3 percent of these “new” voters said they would vote for Trump, higher than his poll numbers among independents and Republicans who regularly vote.

Trump

bid for president.
By way of comparison, Cruz captures just 3.4 percent of these voters. And Senator Marco Rubio of Florida snags only 4 percent.
“I’m tired of the chaos between Democrats and Republicans and want to give somebody a try who I think can make a difference,” said Wade of Trump.
The 51-year-old has already switched his affiliation from Democrat to Republican and even attended a Trump campaign event in Las Vegas. He has told his three older children to get involved in the elections, although he did not say whether he wanted them to vote for Trump.
Trump, the Republican front-runner, has made targeting “lost” voters such as Wade a focus of his campaign. His anti-immigrant rhetoric and protectionist trade proposals have helped him to fashion a message tailored to reach Americans alienated by the endless enmity between the political parties and who, because of declining economic prospects, may feel like neither party has done much for them.
Trump’s strategy is a gamble, given the lack of reliability of many of the voters with whom he is most popular.
In interviews, some of those lost voters insist they will show up, saying they are drawn to Trump’s outsider status and his willingness to upend the political system.
PAGING A PIRANHA
Tucson, Arizona, resident Renay Cunningham, 56, said she had never paid much attention to politics in the past. She plans to cast her first ever vote for Trump after hearing his proposed policies to curb illegal immigration, which include building a giant wall on the southern border and making Mexico pay for it.
“We need a piranha in there, and he’s definitely a piranha,” she said.
Trump and his operatives are confident they can do what few of his rivals for the Republican nomination have shown they can do — expand the party’s potential voter pool.
But while Democrat Barack Obama did that eight years ago by largely registering new voters, including record levels of minorities, both male and female, in urban centers, Trump’s campaign has instead largely sought out the disaffected, who tend to be overwhelmingly older, white, and less educated than the broader electorate.
“My whole campaign has been focused on expanding the number of people who want to, and will, participate in this election cycle,” Trump wrote in a recent op-ed in USA Today.
And there’s Vince DiSylvester, a retired maintenance worker in Missouri, who, at 73, said has never cast a ballot for president. But Trump has inspired him to rethink that.
"He's a businessman, he knows business, he knows how to get things done," he said. "And he tells it like it is. If you don't like it - well, too bad."

Poll - Trump in first place with 31%

Independent Conservatism
  • The photo above says a lot about why I like an independent Donald Trump. I call myself a Conservative RINO. The big government loving GOP left me many years ago. Maybe The Donald can put the party back on the path of actually listening to the voters rather than Wall Street special interests.

(Reuters News)  -  Donald Trump is the Republican candidate most trusted to manage the economy, deal with foreign leaders and serve as commander in chief, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll of Republicans conducted after the party's third debate.
And more Republicans would trust him with the nation’s nuclear weapons than most of the rest of their party's presidential primary field.
In terms of overall support, Trump was favored by 31 percent of Republicans polled by Reuters/Ipsos in an online survey conducted Oct. 28 to Nov. 2 that had a credibility interval of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson placed second with 18 percent. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and former Governor Jeb Bush tied for third place with 10 percent each.
For anyone still confused about why Trump is holding strong onto a double-digit lead in most presidential primary polls, look no farther than at how much Republican voters trust him. The growing trust shows Trump's campaign message - that his experience in business means voters should pick him to negotiate trade deals or take on Russia's Vladimir Putin - is resonating.
On the question of whether voters trust the candidates to manage the economy, 59 percent said "yes" to Trump.
None of the other Republican candidates came even close. Carson was second, with 36 percent saying they trust him to manage the economy. Rubio was third with 27 percent, followed by retired business executive Carly Fiorina at 25 percent.
It’s not just on the economy where Trump shines. Asked whether they trusted the various Republican candidates to be commander in chief, Trump and Carson were tied, at 40 percent each.

Trump following the Jesse Ventura model?
(Washington Post)  -  Dean Barkley, the campaign strategist who engineered Jesse Ventura’s wild win as Minnesota governor in 1998, recognizes Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. The bluster, the sparring with reporters, the brash appeal to a segment of the population that is unhappy with politics as usual — it’s all the ingredients of Ventura’s Minnesota Miracle.
“He’s doing exactly the same thing we did,” Barkley said in a recent interview. “It’s like they’re reading our playbook. He visited us during the campaign and tracked the strategy we used. I’m almost flattered. We shocked the world" with the victory.
For his part, Barkley, now a wills and estates lawyer, says Trump is in great shape.
“He’s (Trump) got even better Teflon than Ventura,” he enthuses. “Nothing sticks to either of them. In October, only a week or so before the election, Jesse gives a speech and says he’s in favor of legalizing drugs and prostitution — and he went up in the polls. Who else could do that? He and Trump both say [politically] stupid things and they both get away with them.”
Barkley is happy to conjecture: “Wouldn’t it be something to have a Trump/Ventura campaign? I would die and go to heaven if I got a part of that.”

Ventura rooting for total destruction of GOP, Democratic parties

I'm on Board Jesse

  • Even if The Donald wins the White House we will still have a Congress made up of two corrupt big government loving political parties that are bought and paid for by Wall Street.
  • The people need to demand election reform in the House of Representatives to break the cycle of corruption and return control of elections to the voters.

(Chicago Sun Times)  -  Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura — the man who is willing to be Bernie Sanders’ or Donald Trump’s running mate — is openly rooting for those two candidates to unleash their fury and destroy their own parties in a blaze of glory.

In a Tuesday night interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, Ventura says it’s clear that people no longer trust the career politicians because “they’ve screwed it up so bad.”

“I love listening to you talk to the talking heads about how Donald Trump could be the destruction of the whole Republican party,” Ventura said. “I throw my hands up into the air and cheer. I hope it happens.”

He goes on to say he has similar hopes for Sanders.

“I hope Bernie Sanders is the destruction of the Democratic party,” Ventura said. “It’s time to break up the two-party dictatorship.”

Ventura has previously praised both candidates and compared them to his 1998 campaign for governor, saying he sees “great parallels to my campaign in Minnesota where the media attacks you at every direction but yet the people stand and support you.”

In his push for a place on either man’s presidential ticket, Ventura has said it would be a surefire way for them to grab the independent vote.

Keeping The Masses Entertained
Trump breaks through the boring clutter of
the media and reaches directly to voters

By Gary;

Conservative radio host Dr. Michael Savage said it well:  "The Republican candidates for President are about as exciting as pallbearers at a funeral."

Savage is dead on.

If you are a political nerd you drool over every word sputtered by the candidates and their talking head supporters.  But the rest of the voters tune out because they have heard these same lies in election after election.

As the ultimate showman Donald Trump has cut through the media clutter.  Trump is Governor Jesse Ventura on steroids and with a billion dollar war chest.

Former WWE star, actor and Mayor, Jesse "The Body" Ventura ran a people's campaign and crushed both the Republicans and Democrats getting himself elected as Governor of Minnesota on the Reform Party ticket.

Trump is Trump.  But he is effectively running a Jesse Ventura campaign.  Trump could care less what the chattering classes and professional politicians think.  Trump is reaching out directly to the people who have been ignored by the corrupt Elites.

It drives the Elites insane that Trump is not an ideologue . . . as if any of the Elite are.  Trump is often all over the map politically because the average voter is also all over the map.  That is the source of his appeal.

Both Trump and Jesse Ventura speak their minds and do not pander, and both are equally hated by the Elites.  Sit back and enjoy the show.

Jesse Ventura accuses Jeb Bush of Cuban cigar cover-up

President Ventura
  • Too bad Jesse never took the plunge.  As the Reform Party Governor of Minnesota he was a hot political property in the early 2000s.  Certainly he would have been head and shoulders better than that fool Bush.

(Politico)  -  Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura said Thursday he was "astounded" that Jeb Bush's campaign would deny a decades-old gift of Cuban cigars.

The controversy centers on a box of Romeo y Julieta cigars Bush gave Ventura after a meeting of governors at the White House, where Ventura complained to then-president Bill Clinton about the “ridiculous” Cuban embargo and how it should be lifted.

Ventura, who recounted the story Wednesday on his Ora.TV “Off the Grid” show, said the gift was ironic, since Bush supported the embargo.

Bush’s presidential campaign denied the claim, saying the cigars weren’t from Cuba.

“The cigars were Dominican,” Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campell told POLITICO, echoing comments the campaign made to McClatchy, which first reported the story.

Ventura told POLITICO that Bush’s campaign isn’t being honest.

“What happened to the truth?” Ventura said in a phone interview. “They’re trying to say that he sent me a box of Dominicans? I’m astounded by that. Why would they send me a box of Dominican cigars when I could go buy them in any cigar shop?”

Ventura, echoing comments on his show, said the gift — and now the denial — speak to problems with Bush’s campaign.

“Come on. You’re even going to cover this up? You’re going to deny a box of cigars, like what: that’s going to determine the election? It’s a simple and true story,” Ventura said. “I guess the point that I’m making is elites live by a different set of rules than all the rest of us because they can get Cuban cigars, clearly, when the rest of us can’t.”

Ventura, who no longer smokes cigars, indicated the issue had personal salience because he once had U.S. Customs agents take two Cuban cigars from him as he reentered the United States from Canada. He said he wanted to give the cigars to his dad.

Ventura told the story about Bush’s gift during an interview with consultant and political operative Roger Stone, who recently departed Donald Trump’s campaign in a dispute over messaging. Ventura has had a decades-long relationship with Trump. One of the early professional wrestling “Wrestlemanias” was held at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, where Ventura wrestled as “Jesse The Body Ventura.” He said Trump told him that Wrestlemania tickets sold out the venue faster than boxing events.

GOP to USA: "Screw You!"

The GOP Gang Rape of the America
  • Obamatrade treason.  Ted Cruz, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell tell their victims, "Just lay back, spread your legs and enjoy it."
  • The open borders whore Republican Party rams through a top secret treaty fast track that the American people are not allowed to read.
  • Middle class jobs by the millions to flood out of America.

GOP House Fast Tracks Obamatrade 218-208
The GOP House on Thursday took the first step toward resuscitating the White House’s trade agenda by passing legislation granting President Obama fast-track authority.
The bill now goes to the Senate, where the White House and GOP leaders are seeking to strike a deal with Democrats.  The House vote was 218-208, with 28 Democrats voting for it.
“Instead of cooperation, they’ve opted to use procedural tricks to pass the TPA,” said Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.).

Senator Jeff Sessions Opposes This Treason
"This nation has never seen an agreement that compares to the TPP, which forms a new Pacific Union. This is far more than a trade agreement, but creates a self-governing and self-perpetuating Commission with extraordinary implications for American workers and American sovereignty.
"Such a historic international regulatory Commission should never be fast-tracked, and should never be put on a path to passage until every word has been publicly scrutinized, every question answered, and every last power understood by Congress and the American people.”

Sean Hannity: GOP is ‘Selling Out American Sovereignty’

“In spite of all the calls, I’m being told, going into Congress — like 30 to 1, they’re still pushing [TPA] anyway because they don’t care what we think,” Hannity said.
“The [Obama] administration, and Boehner, and McConnell, they’re selling out American sovereignty,” Hannity said. “The TPA will have sweeping authority over trade, immigration, environmental, labor, and commerce regulations.”

Minnesota’s Independence Party Losing its Ballot Qualified Status

Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura presents his first
state of the state address in 1999.

The Minnesota Sheeple Have Spoken

  • For one brief moment the voters of Minnesota told the corrupt two parties to go to Hell and elected Jesse Ventura as Governor.  But since then the voters have returned to being Sheeple who blindly obey their major party Masters and the mountains of Wall Street funded TV ads the Dems and GOP run.
  • The moronic Sheeple bitch and moan about the horrible Democrat and GOP politicians, but in election after election they refuse to support smaller opposition parties.  Well, you deserve and get the corruption and insanity you vote for.

— The Independence Party is less mighty in the eyes of the state of Minnesota.

The secretary of state's office formally informed the party's leader in a letter Tuesday that it has been downgraded from major- to minor-party status. That means its candidates must clear extra hurdles to get on ballots and won't have access to as much public campaign financing as before.

Typical Minnesota voters

The political home of then-Gov. Jesse Ventura was demoted after none of its statewide candidates received at least five percent of the vote. It was the second consecutive election with that result.

Going forward, Independence Party candidates must submit nominating signatures from voters to qualify for the ballot.

Other minor parties are: the Green Party, the Grassroots-Legalize Cannabis Party, the Legal Marijuana Now Party and the Libertarian Party.

The Independence Party that it has lost its qualified status, something it has enjoyed for twenty years. The party needed to poll 5% for one of the statewide offices. The party was very unlucky, polling only 4.9% for Secretary of State. Its other statewide results were: Governor-Lieutenant Governor 2.9%; U.S. Senator 2.4%; Auditor 4.0%; Attorney General 2.3%.

The party is free to ask the legislature to ease the 5% vote test. The median vote test in the 50 states is 2%.

CIA Torture - Why do we fear the truth?

Something has Snapped in America

  • We are eyewitnesses to history. Something snapped in America. Democrats and Republicans have joined arm-in-arm to fully embrace CIA torture, drone killings of U.S. citizens and a centralized 1984 NSA Big Brother Police State.
  • If you dare to speak out for the Constitution, the rule of law and simple human decency then you are labeled an "enemy of the people."

US diplomatic posts around the world were on heightened security alert on Monday ahead of the release of a long-awaited report into the CIA’s use of torture in the years after the September 11 attacks.
The 480-page report by the US Senate intelligence committee is expected to contain graphic details of how the CIA used “enhanced interrogation techniques” including waterboarding against al-Qaeda suspects who were held in an international network of secret jails.
President Barack Obama has already dubbed the techniques used as “torture”, in a televised press conference earlier this year, but the White House said it feared that the fresh details could spark recriminations abroad reports the London Telegraph.
The decision to publish the report, which is a declassified summary of a 6,000-page three-year review of more than five million highly classified CIA documents, has been fiercely contested by both Republicans and senior members of the administration of George W Bush, who authorised the programme.

“I think this is a terrible idea,” said Mike Rogers, the Republican chair of the House intelligence committee. “Our foreign partners are telling us this will cause violence and deaths... Our own intelligence community has assessed that this will cause violence and deaths.”

The report emerges from a bitter four-year running battle between the Senate Intelligence Committee’s Democrat chair Dianne Feinstein and the CIA, who earlier this year were forced to admit they had spied on her committee, causing outrage in Congress.
Its publication was then further delayed for another four months as Mrs Feinstein wrangled with the CIA over how much of the summary should be scratched out by the censor’s pen. She accused the agency of trying to “obscure key facts that support the report’s findings and conclusions”.
Last weekend it emerged that John Kerry, the US secretary of state, had directly asked Mrs Feinstein to reconsider the decision to publish the report, in what activists said was yet another attempt by the administration to avoid a reckoning on the issue.
Early leaks of the report suggest it will conclude that torture did not yield useful intelligence, that the CIA used torture in excess of its remit and repeatedly lied to Congress to cover its tracks and exaggerate the value of any intelligence it extracted under duress.

Syrian Government is the real target says Obama ambassador

God Damned Liars!
  • Comrade Obama's UN Ambassador admits that the arms he is sending to the "moderate" rebels will be used against the Syrian government. . . . where did ISIS go???
  • The Bullshit and lies go one and on and on.

BREAKING NEWSThe Department of Defense released the following statement from Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby today: “I can confirm that U.S. military and partner nation forces are undertaking military action against ISIL terrorists in Syria using a mix of fighter, bomber and Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles.”

Obama’s United Nations ambassador Samantha Power told Chuck Todd of NBC on Sunday the real purpose of the fight against ISIS is to overthrow al-Assad and the Syrian government.

Power said the “moderate” Free Syrian Army (FSA) will receive an “infusion of support” in its battle against both ISIS and the Syrian government which is, according to Power and the United States, “backed by Hezbollah, Iran, Russia, etc.,” reports Infowars.

The FSA has lost troops to al-Nusra and other hardcore Islamist groups for more than a year.

In June al-Nusra and ISIS joined forces at Albu Kamal in Syria and al-Qaim in Iraq.

“Fighters feel proud to join al-Nusra because that means power and influence,” Abu Ahmed, the commander of an FSA brigade near Aleppo, told The Guardian in May of 2013.

In September, 2013, one of the largest FSA brigades, the 11th Division, joined al-Nusra.

“This means that the FSA has suddenly lost serious amounts of loyal fighters… it’s basically being swallowed up by Nusra,” an Al Jazeera correspondent in Antakya, Turkey, reported on September 21, 2013.

Reuters, citing sources inside Syria, reported other members of the FSA have joined ISIS.

The Ahl al-Athar, Ibin al-Qa’im, and Aisha factions within the FSA pledged allegiance to ISIS in July, according to Zaman Alwasl, a newspaper based in Homs.

“Al Nusra Front and the state [ISIS] will fully control FSA brigades, fusing them within their extreme and Jihadi ideologies,” the newspaper reported.

Obama and Power are attempting to keep the illusion alive that there is a distinction between al-Nusra, ISIS and the FSA when in fact all are creations of U.S., British and Israeli intelligence.

On Sunday The New York Times carried a report saying Iraqis – from people on the street to officials in the highest level of government – believe the CIA is behind ISIS. They fear the manufactured ISIS threat will be used to reintroduce troops in Iraq.
