Now Shortages of Alcohol Thanks to Biden
Via NBC:
RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Retailers in Virginia are keeping their eyes on a problem that’s leading to fewer bottles of alcohol on store shelves right now.
It couldn’t come at a worse time. This is the time of year more people are purchasing liquor as we head into the holidays. But some of your favorite items may or may not be up for grabs. It all has to do with supply chain backlogs. It’s impacted many other products we buy and now the supply issues have made their way to the liquor store. That has ABC officials on high alert.
“We just noticed that actually,” said a man, who asked not to be identified, leaving an ABC store in Chesterfield. “One of the Moonshines was empty.”
ABC said nearly 190 products the company sells are currently out of stock. It’s a number that fluctuates day by day.
“Our suppliers, they need glass. They need bottles. They need caps. They need trucks to move product. All of those things are being impacted by the supply chain,” said CEO Travis Hill.
It’s leading to bare shelves at some liquor stores nationwide.

CDC FASCISM: No Alcohol or Singing During Thanksgiving
(Summit News) - The CDC has published a lengthy list of guidelines for how people should behave at Thanksgiving gatherings, including avoiding singing, keeping noise levels down and limiting alcohol consumption.
Basically, anything fun is frowned upon ‘because COVID’.
The guidelines appear on the official CDC website under the heading ‘Holiday Celebrations and Small Gatherings’ and include literally dozens of “considerations for small gatherings of family and friends.”
“Encourage guests to avoid singing or shouting, especially indoors. Keep music levels down so people don’t have to shout or speak loudly to be heard,” states the website.
Consumption of alcohol is listed as a “high risk activity” that “may alter judgment and make it more difficult to practice COVID-19 safety measures.”
The guidelines also state that people must wear masks, stay 6 feet apart from people they don’t live with along with a virtual essay length list of suggested behaviors that are impossible to uphold and would completely ruin the occasion.
Respondents to the guidelines on Twitter were not very impressed.
“Code for… Avoid Living. This is not the American experience,” said one.
“Up next…no laughing, talking or blinking,” said another.
“What in God’s name would music levels have to do with virus transmissions?” asked another.

Open Borders Angela Merkel’s Allies Suffer Worst Election Results Since 1950
- Bottom Line - The anti-Muslim immigration party AfD got only 10.9% of the vote. Simply 89.1% of voters backed open borders parties.
- So say goodbye to Germany and hello to Germanistan.
(Reuters) ― Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Bavarian allies suffered their worst election result since 1950 on Sunday, bleeding votes to the far-right in a setback that immediately raised tensions within Germany’s crisis-prone national government.
The Christian Social Union (CSU) won 35.6 percent of the vote, preliminary results showed, losing its absolute majority for only the second time since 1962 ― an outcome sure to stoke infighting in the conservative party, already a difficult partner for Merkel in Berlin.
“Of course today is not an easy day for the CSU. We did not achieve a good result,” Bavarian premier Markus Soeder told a gathering of his party. “We accept the result with humility,” he said, adding that the CSU nonetheless wanted to form a stable government as soon as possible.
The result, which saw the pro-immigration Greens come second and the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) enter the state assembly for the first time, means the CSU will need to form a coalition ― a humiliation for a party used to ruling alone.
The Greens, who more than doubled their share of the vote to 18.3 percent, attracted support from more liberal CSU voters and from those who traditionally vote for the left-leaning Social Democrats (SPD), who won just 9.7 percent.
“The political earthquake was in Bavaria, but the aftershocks will be felt in Berlin ... Talk will increase ever more about the end of the Merkel era,” said Fred Kempe, president of the Washington-based Atlantic Council think tank.
The AfD won 10.9 percent of the vote, the preliminary results showed. The Free Voters, a protest party that is the CSU’s most likely coalition party, won 11.6 percent. The CSU has ruled out an alliance with the AfD.

Beer Festival banned by Islamists
(Reuters) - Malaysian authorities scrapped an annual beer festival on Monday after an Islamist party objected to the event that had been planned for the first weekend of October in the country’s capital.
Though there are plenty of beer drinkers among the sizable Chinese and Indian minorities, protests against events deemed to be “western” and unIslamic - such as concerts and festivals involving alcohol - are common in Muslim-majority Malaysia and are usually led by the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS).
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said in a short statement on Monday that it has rejected the application for a permit by the organizers of the “Better Beer Festival 2017” to host the event, which would have entered its sixth year.
“If the organizers continue with the event without DBKL’s approval, action will be taken in accordance to existing laws,” city hall said.
Mybeer (M) Sdn Bhd, the company organizing the event, said in a separate statement that they were informed by DBKL officials that the decision was made “due to the political sensitivity surrounding the event”.
A member of PAS’ central committee, Riduan Mohd Nor, said in a statement on Sept. 10 that there is no guarantee that such events would not lead to criminal acts, rape and free sex.
Opponents of the beer festival also launched a campaign on Facebook to block the event.
Around 6,000 people had been expected to attend the two-day festival, which would have featured craft beers from at least 11 countries, according to Facebook posts by the organizers and local news reports.
