Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos

Bezos Can Afford The Best
  • I have been very aware of New Mexican born Lauren Sánchez, and her obvious assets, since she was the anchor at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles.

(Daily Mail)  Jeff Bezos celebrated New Years aboard a luxury yacht in the Caribbean with partner Lauren Sanchez, a former flame she split with years ago, and that ex's new girlfriend.

The Amazon founder, 57, took to Instagram Saturday to share several snaps from the St. Bart bash, which was attended by Sanchez's ex-fiance Tony Gonzalez and his wife October.

Gonzalez - a former NFL star who dated Sanchez until 2015 - was accompanied on the $38,000-a-week chartered yacht by the adult son they share, Nikko. Also aboard the 88-foot boat was Bezos' young brother Mark, and others.

During the new year celebrations, Bezos wore a tight-fitting disco-type outfit to show off his new physique, while beau Sanchez wore a ring on her wedding finger. The couple have yet to comment on rumors they're engaged.

Before hooking up with Bezos, Sanchez was engaged to four others; she married Patrick Whitesell in 2005 but the relationship ended after her affair with Bezos was exposed in 2019.

Democrats Ban Drive-In Theaters

We are ruled over by the insane
Self isolating in cars can kill you

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (AP) — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has blocked the reopening of a popular northern New Mexico drive-in movie theater despite city officials believing they had the OK.
The governor’s office halted a plan on May 14 to reopen the Fort Union Drive-In Movie Theater in Las Vegas, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Las Vegas Optic reports.
City leaders believed they had the support of state leaders to open the theater, and planned to show a double feature of “Trolls World Tour” and “Doolittle” on May 15.
But the governor’s office called the San Miguel County Emergency Management Department the day before the scheduled reopening and told officials they didn’t have permission, Las Vegas Mayor Louie Trujillo said.
“The governor’s office said they would treat the drive-in just like any other movie theater,” Trujillo told the Optic.

Dems to FORCE doctors to do abortions

Dems have blood on their hands
The Democrat Cult of Death

A bill that would force doctors and nurses in New Mexico to perform abortions has passed the state House and is now at the Democrat-controlled state Senate.

House Bill 51 is similar to New York’s Reproductive Health Act, signed into law by Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and Virginia’s Repeal Act,  introduced by Democrat Delegate Kathy Tran and endorsed by Democrat Gov. Ralph Northam. Both pieces of legislation endeavored to remove all restrictions to abortion

“[The bill] compels doctors, nurses, hospitals to perform abortion,” said Republican state Rep. Rod Montoya, reported the Daily Caller. “We believe this bill if it passes will be challenged.”

The legislation eliminates a conscience clause that protects the right of doctors, nurses, and hospitals to refuse to participate in an abortion due to religious beliefs or moral conviction.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, six Democrats joined Republicans in the state House to vote against the bill: Anthony Allison of Fruitland; Doreen Wonda Johnson of Church Rock; Patricia Lundstrom of Gallup; Patricio Ruiloba of Albuquerque; Joseph Sanchez of Alcalde; and Candie Sweetser of Deming.

New Mexico already allows abortion up until birth. The current bill would remove a criminal ban on abortion that remains on the books since before the Supreme Court’s invention of a right to abortion in Roe v. Wade in 1973.

Montoya added that the legislation “continues the practice of late term abortion in New Mexico. The abortion industry is not regulated at all in New Mexico.”

Rand Paul Backs Libertarian Candidate in New Mexico

One Vote Gary
One Vote Donald

  • In 2012 I voted for Libertarian Party Presidential candidate Gary Johnson against the big government loving Romney/Ryan ticket. Another vote I am so proud of.
  • But by 2016 I had abandoned the pansy, fantasy land Libertarians for the hard core Nationalism of Donald Trump. Yet another vote I am proud of.
  • If I lived in New Mexico I would go for Johnson to send a message to the bought off political hacks in the Swamp.

(AP) — Former New Mexico governor and current Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Gary Johnson picked up the endorsement of Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky on Tuesday in his effort to unseat an incumbent Democrat.
Paul shunned Republican nominee Mick Rich, an Albuquerque construction contractor and newcomer to politics, in favor of Johnson, who was elected governor of New Mexico twice as a Republican before running for president in 2012 and 2016 on the Libertarian ticket.
Democratic Sen. Martin Heinrich of Albuquerque is seeking a second term in the November election.
Johnson and Paul share an enthusiasm for extremely limited government. In a news release, Paul praised Johnson as a "true fiscal conservative" and for his dedication to reducing the size of government and improving services as governor of New Mexico.

Albuquerque Taking Steps To Become "Sanctuary City"

The Final Countdown

  • Neither the GOP nor the Democrats will secure our borders. Only Nationalist Donald Trump is willing to fight. When Trump leaves office no one will be left to speak for American citizens.

(Armandsrancho.blogspot.com)  -  It looks like the lunatics of the city council of Albuquerque are following in the footsteps of the loons running the city of Los Angeles and the state of California.

The Hill reported:

New measures passed this week in Albuquerque, N.M., will make it more difficult for illegal immigrants to be deported.
The city's council passed a measure by a 6-3 vote that bars federal immigration officials who do not have a warrant from going into city-operated areas, Reuters reported.
Measures passed by the majority-Democratic council also make it so city workers are prohibited from taking information on people's immigration status.
The country has gone insane. The citizens of foreign nations are more important than American citizens

Bloomberg soda tax voted down in New Mexico

Return this New York export to sender

(Washington Free Beacon)  -  Another attempt by billionaire Michael Bloomberg to impose a soda tax failed Tuesday, as a record number of voters turned out against the measure in Santa Fe, N.M.
Bloomberg spent roughly $1.5 million supporting the initiative, which would have imposed a 2 cent per ounce tax on sugary drinks.
The soda tax was "soundly rejected" by 58 percent of voters, with a record 37.6 percent turnout, which was higher than the previous mayoral election, the Albuquerque Journal reported.

The former New York City mayor has poured millions into similar campaigns in other states, many of which have failed. Bloomberg donated $1,497,119.88 to the Santa Fe measure, according to the latest campaign finance statement.
Last year Bloomberg contributed more than $18 million to support two soda tax proposals in Oakland and San Francisco. He has also funded successful campaigns in Philadelphia and Berkeley.
The California legislature failed to pass a statewide 2-cents-per-ounce tax on soda in 2016.
"People saw through the political agenda of outside forces who wanted to impose an unfair tax at the expense of middle-class families and small-business people in Santa Fe," said Better Way for Santa Fe and Pre-K, a political committee that opposed the tax.
The Journal reported low-income voters "went against the tax in huge numbers," while rich sections of the city were more likely to support the measure. Proponents of the measure said funds raised by the $7 million tax would go to support preschool.
At a city council meeting last month, Gloria Mendoza, a community activist who opposed the tax, suggested the rich pay for preschool programs by taxing tofu instead.
"How dare you say that you're representing the people of Santa Fe because you're not, because the people of Santa Fe do not want a sugar tax," Mendoza told council members. "Why don't you tax tofu?"

Libertarian Gary Johnson-William Weld, the 2016 ticket

Two GOP Governors Now Libertarian

  • I voted Libertarian in 2012 when the big government loving GOP gave me the joke ticket of Romney-Ryan.
  • That will not happen this year. I am a 100% Trumpster supporter. We need a Conservative Populist-Nationalist to make American great again.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Seizing new fuel for his appeal to Donald Trump's critics, former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson has joined forces with another former Republican governor to strengthen his Libertarian presidential bid.
William Weld, who served two terms as the Republican governor of Massachusetts in the 1990s, will announce plans Thursday to seek the Libertarian Party's vice presidential nomination, Johnson confirmed in a Wednesday interview with the Associated Press. The pair met privately in Las Vegas over the weekend when Weld agreed to run as Johnson's running mate in the party's upcoming nominating convention and into the general election.
"We got together and shook hands on it," Johnson told the AP in an interview in Salt Lake City, where his underdog presidential campaign is based. "It brings an enormous amount of credibility to what it is I'm doing. I'm unbelievably flattered by this and humbled."

Johnson is casting himself as the best — and perhaps only — alternative to Trump, as the New York billionaire's Republican critics struggle to identify another third-party candidate.
Johnson earned just 1 percent of the national vote during his 2012 presidential run, but reminds reluctant conservatives that he'll likely be the only third-party candidate on the ballot in all 50 states this fall.
Weld, a well-respected former governor in the Northeast, offers Johnson some credibility and badly needed fundraising prowess. The 70-year-old will announce his vice presidential bid in New York on Thursday, Johnson said.
"He could be a huge influence when it comes to fundraising. Huge," said Johnson, whose campaign had only $35,000 in the bank at the end of March. "That was something that he in fact volunteered — that he enjoys doing it."
Weld was an active fundraiser for 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Like Johnson, Weld has a moderate view on social issues. He favors abortion rights and same-sex marriage. Years after leaving the governor's office in Massachusetts, Weld launched an unsuccessful bid for New York governor as a Republican and a Libertarian.

Principal suspended for posting list of students held back a grade

Everybody Wins!!!
No one fails. Everyone wins a trophy.

(Farmington Daily Times)  -  The principal of Tsé Bit’a’í Middle School in Shiprock has been placed on paid administrative leave.

Central Consolidated School District spokesman James Preminger confirmed that J. Kaibah Begay was placed on administrative leave Wednesday.

She was placed on leave after the administration was notified that the school displayed a poster this week that listed more than 100 students who allegedly would not be promoted to the next grade level, Preminger said.

Preminger said the poster was put up at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday in a hallway near the school’s entrance. The administration was notified about the poster on Tuesday afternoon, and it was removed at approximately 2:30 p.m., he said.

"The school told the administration. Once they told us, we had the poster taken down immediately," Preminger said.

Preminger said Bowman apologized to students on Thursday and to parents during the school board's work session that evening.

"The superintendent wants to build students' self-esteem, confidence and identity and have it be part of the learning environment," Preminger said. "We apologize to all students and parents that this happened."

White women banned from public university event

A Leftist War on White Women

(The College Fix)  -  The University of New Mexico hosted a series of events dedicated to sex this week, including a presentation by “Dirty Lola” and a workshop on “decolonized sex” that only permitted entrance to “self-identified women of color, including queer and trans,” according to organizers.
“SexUality Week” was organized by UNM Student Alliance for Reproductive Justice, which worked with many campus clubs, local organizations – and an adult sex-toy company that supplied giveaways – to pull the series together.
The weeklong event, which launched Nov. 9 and ends Nov. 13, also featured panels on sex and religion, asexuality and birth control. Today a “Pleasure for All Bodies: Self Acceptance through Sexuality” event is scheduled, an event on how to “practice self healing and care through radical and unapologetic self love for our bodies and ourselves.”
The workshop on “decolonized and destigmatized sex” was only open to “self-identified women of color including queer and trans,” according to organizers. Held Wednesday, it focused on “destigmatizing consensual and pleasurable sex while also reconnecting to our decolonized traditions around sex as people of color.”
The student organizers’ self-described “main event” was a presentation by “Dirty Lola,” who is described on her website as “a naughty storyteller, sex encourager, sex toy peddler, and the creator and host of the live sex-positive Q&A go-go show and podcast Sex Ed A Go-Go .”

Erin Brockovich Accuses Feds of Lying About Mine Waste Spill

The Government lies! Say it isn't so.

  • Comrade Obama's EPA is in full cover up mode.  I wonder, are there ANY Federal departments that aren't involved in covering up crimes?

(New York Times)  -  Environmental activist Erin Brockovich, made famous from the Oscar-winning movie bearing her name, on Tuesday accused the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency of lying about how much toxic wastewater spilled from a Colorado mine and fouled rivers in three Western states.

Her allegation came during a visit to the nation's largest American Indian reservation, where she saw the damage and met with Navajo Nation leaders and farmers affected by last month's spill, which was triggered by an EPA crew during excavation work.

Brockovich said she was shocked by the agency's actions leading up to the release of waste tainted with heavy metals and its response afterward.

"They did not tell the truth about the amount. There were millions and millions of gallons," she said while speaking to a crowd of high school students in Shiprock, New Mexico.

The EPA did not immediately respond to email and telephone requests for comment.

Uncertainty lingers over the long-term dangers to public health and the environment from the spill, which contaminated rivers in Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. EPA says the threat has eased, allowing treatment plants to start drawing water from the rivers again and ending warnings against recreational activities. But Navajo leadership is skeptical.

A series of congressional hearings investigating the spill will begin Wednesday. Republican committee leaders in the House and Senate say that EPA officials have withheld documents that could explain what went wrong.

Navajo President Russell Begaye also questions the number of gallons released. He recounted for Brockovich what he saw during an unannounced visit to the Gold King Mine near Silverton, Colorado, days after the spill. He said he saw a wide gully that was several feet deep and water continuing to pour out of the mine.

Some Navajo irrigation systems remain shuttered until the tribe receives results from its own water and sediment testing. As a result, Begaye has said thousands of acres of crops have gone dry.

Begaye and Brockovich met with farmers to discuss the effects of the spill on irrigation as well as the legacy of contamination left behind by decades of uranium mining.

During the stop in Shiprock, they told the students that it will be up to the next generation to hold government and private industry accountable.

"It's a terrible disaster, and unfortunately it's a situation we see playing itself out not only on the Navajo Nation, but across the United States of America," Brockovich said, referring to pollution and lax enforcement.

"You are the future and you will be the answers," she told the students.

Citizen Militia Has to Guard the Military - The World Has Gone Mad

It is a World Gone Mad

  • Our government disarms our soldiers making them sitting ducks for terrorists.  Now we see armed citizens having to protect the unarmed soldiers.
  • What fucking Twilight Zone episode have I entered?

(Daily Times Four Corners News)  -  A group of five armed men stood in a line outside the military recruiting center in Farmington on Wednesday to "protect those who protect us," they said.
The men took to watching over the parking lot following a deadly shooting last week in Chattanooga, Tenn., where five service men were killed.
After reading about a man in Virginia who went to guard a recruiting station following the shooting, James Maxwell took his gun to the Farmington substation.
Across the country, citizens have decided to guard the recruiting centers. A group known as the 3% of Idaho has guarded centers in Montana and Idaho while a group known as Operation Hero Guard is stationed outside a recruiting center in Cleburne, Texas.

Maxwell said a shooting like the one in Chattanooga could happen anywhere.
"They weren't expecting anything to happen in Chattanooga," he said.
Currently, recruiting centers are a gun-free zones.
"They're sitting ducks here," Maxwell said.
While Maxwell originally stood alone as he guarded the recruiting center, he has been joined by other men, including Army veteran James Gardenhire.
The two of them stood Wednesday with three men who identified themselves as Travis, Adam and Michael. They declined to give their last names, citing negative attention.
"People are saying we shouldn't be here," Maxwell said. "They're 100 percent right."
He said the government should be providing adequate protection for people going to recruiting centers, such as posting armed members of the National Guard outside of centers.
Sgt. 1st Class Joshua Didier, the center leader at the U.S. Army recruiting center in Farmington, said recruiters have been instructed not to acknowledge or interact with the civilians and to let the police know the men are there.

UNM students attack "Islamophobia", ignore Christian persecution

Muslims burn Prince Tadros church in Minya, Egypt

Liberal Whore Alert

  • While Muslims burn churches, enslave Christians, kill French reporters and slaughter Jews in delis, Leftist loon New Mexican students condemn "Islamophobia".  Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

(New Mexico Daily Lobo)  -  The Associated Students of the University of New Mexico unanimously passed a cautionary resolution at Wednesday’s meeting urging UNM administration to state their opposition to Islamophobia.

Sen. Udell Calzadillas Chavez, who introduced Resolution 6S, said there is a widespread culture of fear and ignorance that perpetuates violence against Muslims. The purpose of the resolution is to provoke better understanding of Islam in the UNM community.

“This is a proactive approach to events in the United States and around the world,” he said.

Citing domestic attacks against Islam such as the February killing of three Muslim students at the University of North Carolina and a Molotov cocktail being thrown at the Albuquerque Islamic Center last year, as well as the continuing fight against ISIS in the Middle East, the legislation states that UNM “should stand strong in opposition of Islamophobia and related hate crimes.”

The document defined Islamophobia as “dislike or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force.”

Ihsan Wadud-Rodriguez, a senior Psychology major and Muslim student, said prejudice is often driven by inaccurate and uninformed presumptions about Muslims and the religion they practice.

Wadud-Rodriguez said judgments shouldn’t be rashly conjured simply by the distinct appearance of a Muslim.

Murder Charges for Albuquerque Cops Who Gunned Down Homeless Camper

Police Execute Homeless Man For Camping

The killing takes place at the 3:30 minute mark.  I am pro-police, but you
don't shoot down a homeless man who may have mental issues.  Putting on a
uniform does not make you a God.

(Infowars News)  -  A New Mexico District Attorney’s office has filed murder charges against the Albuquerque police officers who gunned down a non-violent camper last year.
On Monday, Bernalillo County District Attorney Kari Brandenburg’s office announced it filed criminal informations “in the Second Judicial Court in connection with the fatal shooting of James Boyd. The informations contain a single count of open murder against both Albuquerque Police Officers Keith Sandy and Dominique Perez.”

The DA’s office performed a rare but legal move in bypassing a grand jury in order to file the informations, which reportedly mark the first time an Albuquerque police officer is charged after shooting someone in the line of duty.

The two officers will have a chance to contest the charges at a preliminary hearing open to the public prior to a district court judge deciding whether or not to send the case to trial.

Last March, APD officers approached homeless man James M. Boyd, 36, as he illegally slept in the Sandia Foothills just east of Albuquerque.

Police negotiated with Boyd for longer than three hours after receiving a call from a resident, but soon grew weary of attempting a peaceful resolution, and instead lobbed a flash-bang grenade at the man as he turned to escape. They then fired a cascade of bullets, rendering Boyd incapacitated, and sicced their canine on him before stepping on his hand to make him release two small knives prior to handcuffing him.

It later emerged that Officer Sandy could be heard on police audio talking to a fellow officer about his desire to shoot Boyd “in the penis” prior to actually shooting him.

“For this f***ing lunatic? I’m going to shoot him in the penis with a shotgun here in a second,” Sandy was recorded saying in a conversation to another officer, which he first denied then wrote off as “locker room banter.”
