Crazy Mayor Pete Wants to Debate President Trump on Marriage — Doesn’t Know Trump Defended Gays

Insane Dems Spew Endless Hate

  • Dim-Bulb Gay Mayor Buttigieg (snicker. love the name) flails around trying to find an issue and attacks Trump as anti-Gay.
  • The low wattage mayor somehow manages to pick on perhaps the most tolerant Republican candidate in history.

(Gateway Pundit)  -  So Mayor Pete Buttigieg, the gay mayor of a city of 102,000 who wants to be president, lectured President Trump on marriage in his latest press appearance.

Buttigieg is a Democrat Party favorite despite literally NO experience and an absence of ideas.

On Sunday night Mayor Pete lectured President Trump on marriage.

Pete is running on a platform that everybody is against gay marriage except him.
Democrats think this is a winning platform for 2020.
Unfortunately for Mayor Pete Donald Trump was speaking out for gay rights before any Democrat including Hillary and Barack Obama.
As previously reported Donald Trump defended gays from the Clintons way back in 2000.
Back in 2000 Donald Trump was interviewed by the gay Advocate magazine. This was after eight years of Bill and Hillary Clinton in the White House.
Donald Trump appears with Reform Party Governor Jesse Ventura in 2000.
Trump was considering a Reform Party bid for president.

Here is the Advocate interview from 2000, via Prntly:
Last fall Donald Trump shook up the political world by announcing he was joining the Reform Party, a major step in exploring a run for president. The pundits laughed, claiming that the real estate mogul knew more about glamour than politics, but Trump made a number of television and personal appearances that showed his proposed candidacy was no joke. Privately, friends speculated he was bored with the real estate business. In January Trump published The America We Deserve, which outlines his vision for the nation. Anyone who thinks his candidacy is a joke, he says, should read the book. For moderates in the Reform Party, Trump has emerged as their best hope of stopping Pat Buchanan from winning the party’s presidential nomination. With his name recognition and record in business, Trump could prove a wild card in the presidential race, appealing to people tired of politics as usual. Recently I put a wide-ranging set of questions to Trump concerning gay issues, to which Trump responded in writing. His answers might surprise some pundits, both for their thoroughness and for their bluntness.
Are you serious about running?
Yes, I’m quite serious. Washington is in gridlock, and nothing is getting done. No health care reform, no tax relief, no campaign finance reform. The special interests run the country. I think it will take a nonpolitician to break the logjam. Somebody with a big-picture outlook. I’m someone who has built a billion-dollar business enterprise and created hundreds of thousands of jobs. I have made the tough decisions, always with an eye toward the bottom line. Perhaps it’s time America was run like a business.
Why should gays and lesbians be interested in you as a presidential candidate?
I grew up in New York City, a town with different races, religions, and peoples. It breeds tolerance. In all truth, I don’t care whether or not a person is gay. I judge people based on their capability, honesty, and merit. Being in the entertainment business — that is, owning casinos and … several large beauty pageants — I’ve worked with many gay people. I have met some tough, talented, capable, terrific people. Their lifestyle is of no interest to me.

Would we see gay people in a Trump administration?
I would want the best and brightest. Sexual orientation would be meaningless. I’m looking for brains and experience. If the best person for the job happens to be gay, I would certainly appoint them. One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace, good people don’t go into government. I’d want to change that.
What would you do to combat antigay prejudice?
I like the idea of amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include a ban of discrimination based on sexual orientation. It would be simple. It would be straightforward. We don’t need to rewrite the laws currently on the books, although I do think we need to address hate-crimes legislation. But amending the Civil Rights Act would grant the same protection to gay people that we give to other Americans — it’s only fair. I actually suggested this first, and now I see [Democratic presidential candidate] Bill Bradley has jumped on the bandwagon and is claiming the idea as his own. [A bill to amend the Civil Rights Act that would have included protections on the basis of sexual orientation was first introduced in the 1970s. — Ed.] Let me tell you something. Bradley is as phony as a $20 Rolex. He says the president ought to have big ideas. His last big idea — the 1986 [Tax Reform Act] — caused a recession and cost thousands of people their jobs. This guy destroyed the real estate industry, and he tanked the S&Ls. It was a disaster. Bradley walked out of the Senate like he was some kind of statesman declaring that “politics is broken.” The truth is, the voters were going to dump him in New Jersey. He walked away. Now he poses as some kind of outsider. What a joke. Bradley was a member of the Senate Finance Committee and a longtime part of Washington establishment. When I was $900 million and my companies were $9 billion in debt, I didn’t walk away. While others were declaring bankruptcy, I clawed my way back. My businesses are now bigger and better than ever.
Are your gay employees allowed to be out?
Everyone makes a personal choice. Look, it just doesn’t matter to me. I try to treat everybody equal and fairly. Maybe that’s why I can count men like Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Sammy Sosa as my friends. When you hang with people who are different from you, you get an appreciation for other cultures.

Lesbian Muslim Girls to be put on Trial

Gays in the West are Silent

  • Leftist Gays are silent if Muslims slaughter 49 Gays at an Orlando nightclub or kill and or persecute Gays in the Islamic world.

(The Guardian)  -  Authorities in Morocco have pressed charges of homosexuality against two teenage girls allegedly caught kissing and will put them on trial this week, a human rights group has said.
Police detained the pair, only identified as 16-year-old Sanaa and 17-year-old Hajar, in Marrakech last Thursday, said Omar Arbib, an activist at the Moroccan Association of Human Rights.
“They were caught kissing and hugging on the roof of a house in Hay Mohammadi district,” said Arbib.
Someone photographed them, sent the picture to the family who informed the police and the two girls were arrested on the same day, he said.
They appeared before prosecutors and were due in court on Friday to face charges of “licentious or unnatural acts with an individual of the same sex” under article 489 of the penal code.
The Moroccan Association of Human Rights has appointed a lawyer to defend the girls who if convicted face terms of imprisonment of between six months and three years.
But Arbib called for the release of the pair and for the law they are accused of breaking to be abolished.

Swedish “Far-Right” Plans Gay Pride Parade Through Muslim Areas

You Just Can't Make This Shit Up
Leftists and Gays call a Conservative
Gay Pride Parade "racist".

l

(Blazing Cat Fur)  -  No, this is not satire.  On July 29, a gay pride parade is scheduled in Sweden.  But, you see, this is no ordinary gay pride parade.  This gay pride parade was created by Jan Sjunnesson, former editor-in-chief for the Samtiden newspaper in Sweden, which is owned by the nationalist Sweden Democrats party (for our Canadian readers, think of the Sweden Democrats as being kind of like the Conservatives or the Canadian Action Party, which means that they’re considered “extreme far-right” in Sweden).
The parade is scheduled to go through Tensta and Husby – two areas where Muslim immigrants are more than 75% of the population.
On the event’s Facebook page, the organizers state that there will be public “kissing” and “singing”.

The Facebook page is absolutely filled with angry comments from leftists, attacking the “xenophobic right-wing nationalists” for organizing a gay pride parade through Muslim areas. Since Islam holds that gays should be executed, something like this is obviously an attack on Muslims and should therefore be outlawed. At least, that’s what Swedish leftists – and, indeed, Swedish gays – are saying.
Leftists are organizing a counter-demonstration against this gay pride parade. Yes, really.
Plans to organize a Pride Parade between Tensta and Husby in northern Stockholm has leftists up in arms, who are now planning a counter-demonstration.
To place an LGBT parade to the suburbs dominated by immigrants from the Middle East, however, is an expression of pure racism, according to critics.
Noah North and Emelie MĂ¥rtensson, who themselves live in the Järva area, has decided toorganize a counter-demonstration against the “Järva Pride”. They argue that the parade“pits two oppressed groups against each other.”
He now writes itself into a pattern that we have seen from other countries, to make racist points. It is in this context that one must see this, says Ulrika Westerlund, chairman of RFSL.

Police fire rubber bullets at gay pride parade

Islamists Crack Down on Free Speech

  • The Islamist Turkish government tries to tighten their grip on yet another part of their society.  This time the free speech of Gays and their supporters are attacked.

(CBS News)  -  Gay rights advocates have gathered and marched for a few years now in Istanbul in what many have come to dub the largest gay pride event in the Muslim world.
This year, however, Turkish authorities were having none of it.
Police fired water cannon and rubber pellets at crowds gathering to take part in the pride march near the city's Taksim Square on Sunday, according to Reuters and multiple social media reports.
Although no official reasoning has been given for why this year's attempt at a parade was attacked, it happened to fall in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, and many suspect the country's religious conservatives firmly objected to the public display.
People run as Turkish riot police uses rubber bullets and tear gas
to a Gay Pride march on June 28, 2015.

Unlike most other Muslim countries, homosexuality is not a crime in Turkey. There is, however, widespread homophobia in the country, Reuters reports.
The Istanbul LGBTI Pride Week Committee, a group that organized the series of events during the 23rd Pride Week, said the 13rd Istanbul LGBTi Pride Parade, which was scheduled to start at 5 p.m. on June 28 at Taksim Square, had “suddenly been banned by the Istanbul Governor’s Office using the month of Ramadan as the reason without any announcement.”

Police attacked people with tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannon, the committee said in a press briefing at around 5:30 p.m. on June 28, adding that all entries to and exits from the Taksim Square and İstiklal Avenue had been shut down.

The first LGBTI Pride Parade in Turkey was held in 2003 with only 30 people at-tending the event. This number increased to around 5,000 attendants in 2010 and rose to more than 10,000 in 2011.

The participants of the parade then rose to 20,000 in 2012 a year before about 50,000 people attended the parade in 2013, the same year the Gezi Park demonstrations struck the country with millions taking to streets to protest the unjust policies of the government. The Gezi park protests had erupted as a sit-in against the demolition of a central Istanbul park near the Taksim Square, the only leafy area of the city center, for the construction of a shopping mall in the form of military barracks.

Gay Marriage - The Sun Also Rises

"Horror" - Gays can get married
  • Social Conservatives are screaming that the world is ending. Yet somehow the sun came up today and this old earth manages to go on.

By Gary;

I find it rather entertaining to watch social Conservatives as they soil their pants on live TV over the Supreme Court ruling allowing Gays to be married.

Really, where was the outrage when the GOP, the Dems and Dear Leader teamed up to send millions of middle class jobs overseas?

No, real outrage appears to be restricted to who is sleeping with whom.

Sorry I can't get worked up about Gays out there somewhere getting married.  There are real issues to care about.

If the religious Conservatives are right then the Gays will go to Hell.  If they are wrong Gays will be welcome in Heaven.  It is not my call.  I will leave that final decision to a much higher authority.

The Supreme Court acted properly.  If a person is legally married in one state and moves to another state he has the right to have his legal marriage certificate recognized in his new state.  This is not rocket science and certainly nothing to froth up about.

In a week this "burning" issue will fade.  In a month it will be forgotten.  In a year no one will really care.

The sun will come up and the world will go on.

Jeb Bush flip-flops on Indiana law

A Flip Flop or Just Nimble?

(The Guardian)  -  Anti-discrimination activists and gay rights groups welcomed a lightning evolution by Jeb Bush, this week on a controversial law passed in Indiana last week that opponents said would have made it easier for businesses to discriminate against LGBT employees and customers.

On Monday, Bush praised the law as signed by Indiana’s governor, Mike Pence. On Wednesday, the former Florida governor and likely 2016 presidential candidate drew back sharply in his approbation, conceding only that the law would “be in the right place” by the end of the week, after an anticipated fix by the Indiana legislature.

Bush’s original remarks were made on the Hugh Hewitt radio show, whose core audience comprises the kind of hard-right conservatives who tend to vote in primary elections. “I think if you, if they actually got briefed on the law that they wouldn’t be blasting this law,” Bush said. “I think Governor Pence has done the right thing.”

Bush’s second remarks were made in Palo Alto, California, at a Silicon Valley fundraiser.

Bush was asked about his defense of the law at a fundraiser at the East Palo Alto Four Seasons on Wednesday night, reported the New York Times, which obtained an audio recording.

“By the end of the week, I think Indiana will be in the right place, which is to say that we need in a big, diverse country like America, we need to have space for people to act on their conscience, that it is a constitutional right that religious freedom is a core value of our country,“ the Times quoted Bush as telling the California crowd.

But “we shouldn’t discriminate based on sexual orientation”, Bush said.

Gays, Pizza and other insanity - GOP stupidity marches on

A Fear of Gays & Pizza
  • The "Conservative" GOP won't cut government spending or give us a flat income tax, but the party will throw around red meat anti-Gay rhetoric to their base disguised as religious freedom.

By Gary;

The insanity begins.

An Indiana pizza shop is saying they agree with GOP Governor Pence and the signing of the controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

“If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no,” says Crystal O'Connor of Memories Pizza.

The Leftist Republican Party will not meaningfully address their pro-big government spending policies or pro-Police State spying policies.  So to pretend to be different from the Democrats we see many Republicans beating the anti-Gay drum to motivate their base.

A GOP Pandora's Box

By standing up for what they call "religious freedom" the GOP is actually opening up a Pandora's Box of religious hate.

To keep a peaceful civil society, businesses that are open to the general public should serve all members of the public.  This is not rocket science.  It is also simply the polite thing to do.  Good manners.

What would happen if Jewish store owners refused to serve Muslims?  Or fundamentalist Christians refused to serve Mormons?  The list could go on forever.

The U.S. is made up of a massive numbers of faiths from Hindus to Eastern Orthodox Christians to Scientologists.  Government is not here to allow "the true faith" (whatever that is) to have their way in publically run businesses.  Government is here to keep society peaceful and operating.

Conservative Republicans need to get a grip and grow up.

America has many faiths, and the members of those faiths should have the right to go into businesses open to the general public and purchase products and services.

At the Air Force Academy in Colorado, a prayer circle and veritable Stonehenge on the Rockies will now serve as a place of worship for the academy's Pagans.

Marriage can indeed be a religious ceremony.  But freedom of religion says it is not the business of Big Government to decide which is the "True Faith" and then write laws based on only the view of that religion to the exclusion of others.
.
America is made of a huge variety of faiths from Baptist to Judaism to Scientology to Buddhism.  Government must let each faith run their own affairs.  Government issued marriage licenses should only be to provide legal guidelines for secular issues like property rights and inheritance.

Indiana GOP - "Let's get the Gays"

The GOP "Big Tent"

  • The Indiana Republican legislature will allow business owners to discriminate against Gay customers in the name of religion.
  • But what happens when the 100,000 Muslims in Indiana refuse to serve "Infidel" customers, or fundamentalist Christians refuse to serve Mormons or . . . well you get the idea.  Businesses must be open to all members of the public or you create a nightmare of insane bigotry.

(AFP News)  -  Supporters of gay rights united in outrage Friday after the US state of Indiana adopted a law critics say would allow businesses to deny service to homosexuals on religious grounds.

Governor Mike Pence signed Senate Bill 101 on Thursday at a closed-door ceremony attended by Catholic nuns, orthodox Jews and socially conservative lobbyists.
GOP Gov. Mike Pence
Bigot or inbred?
"It is vitally important to protect religious freedom in Indiana," the Republican governor said in a statement.
"It was therefore important to pass Senate Bill 101 in 2015 in order to help protect churches, Christian businesses and individuals from those who want to punish them because of their Biblical beliefs!"
The law, which takes effect July 1, makes no mention of gays or lesbians, and Pence said that if it was discriminatory, he would not have signed it.
But activists say it effectively makes it legal for Indiana businesses whose owners reject homosexuality on religious grounds to turn away LGBT customers.
"They’ve basically said, as long as your religion tells you to, it's OK to discriminate against people," said Sarah Warbelow, legal director of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's biggest gay rights group.
The Indiana chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) called the law a "backlash" response to a failed bid last year to put a gay marriage ban in the state's constitution.

Sharia police arrest 12 over `gay wedding`

Tshepo Cameron Modisane and Thoba Calvin Sithole were married in the town of KwaDukuza in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in the area's first traditional African gay wedding.  (towleroad.com)

Frightened of Freedom

  • I am fascinated how the politicians around the world take advantage of people who are frightened to death of Straight or Gay penises and vaginas.  Putting bread on the table and a roof over our heads should be our main concern . . . . not who is screwing who.

(Zee News of India)  -  Twelve young men were arrested in the north Nigerian city of Kano for allegedly planning a gay wedding, the Islamic law-enforcement agency, the Hisbah, said on Tuesday.

The suspects, most of them teenagers, were detained on Monday at a popular resort on the outskirts of the city, said the head of the Hisbah, Aminu Daurawa.
Homosexuality is banned under federal law in Nigeria, where last year new legislation was passed outlawing same-sex marriages and the promotion of civil unions.
In northern states, where Sharia runs parallel to the state and federal justice system, homosexuality is punishable by death, although the sentence is rarely, if ever, enforced.
"We have 12 men in custody, including the bride. We arrested them at the venue of a planned gay wedding," Daurawa told AFP.
"We got information of the wedding four days earlier and our men stormed the venue while the wedding was about to start."
Many guests escaped during the raid, he added.
But one of the participants, 18-year-old Faruk Maiduguri, told reporters at the Hisbah offices that he and his friends were only celebrating his birthday.
"It was my birthday party, not a gay wedding," he said in tears.
Daurawa said the suspects, who came from Kano, the northern cities of Maiduguri, Kaduna and Bauchi, and Ibadan and Osogbo in the southwest, "looked and acted feminine", which prompted their arrest.
It was not clear whether they would be charged but their families had been summoned, he added.
In January last year, more than a dozen men suspected of organising a gay wedding were arrested and charged in Bauchi by the Sharia agency.
Some of them were discharged while others were released on bail.
Nigeria`s Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act carries penalties of up to 14 years in jail for anyone confirmed to be in a gay union.

Gay Pagan Witches Marry in Scotland

Tom Lanting and Iain Robertson were married in a ceremony in
the vaulted cellars of Edinburgh's Marlin's Wynd.

True Love
This story has something to piss off almost
everyone . . . unless you believe in true freedom.

Two male witches in Edinburgh have tied the knot in the UK's first pagan same-sex marriage.
Tom Lanting, 34, and Iain Robertson, 39, were married in a ceremony in the 16th-century vaulted cellars of Edinburgh's Marlin's Wynd.
The couple, who have been together for 12 years, are both hedge witches, who use herbal remedies to deal with medical and spiritual ailments.
The ceremony included handfasting, the sharing of mead and jumping the broom.
After their wedding on Sunday, the couple said: "Getting married in a legal pagan ceremony means so much to both of us reports BBC News.

"The new equal marriage law means that we finally have equal recognition and acceptance of our relationship, and it opens the door for all LGBTI couples to take the same step.
"As hedge witches we always wanted to have a pagan marriage ceremony in line with our beliefs and it was really important to us to be able to share this ceremony with our friends and family."
Scotland is the only part of the UK that allows pagans, and other minority and religious belief bodies, to solemnise legal weddings.
The Pagan Federation (Scotland) has been permitted to conduct weddings north of the border since 2005 and has carried out hundreds of ceremonies for mixed sex couples.
Louise Park, the presiding officer for the Pagan Federation (Scotland), conducted the ceremony.
She said: "Equality for people of all faiths is something that is very dear to the vast majority of pagans, and the Pagan Federation (Scotland) has made equal marriage for all pagans in Scotland one of our biggest campaigns over the last 10 years.
"We feel that, if any couple wish to, they should be able to make their marriage vows before their own personal Gods, friends and family, in a religious ceremony tailored to suit their own beliefs.

ISIS arrests 15 pigeon breeders as "un-Islamic"

You Can't Make This Shit Up
Allah says, "Death for pigeon sex."

(London Daily Mail)  -  ISIS militants have reportedly captured at least 15 pigeon breeders in Iraq after deciding it is against Islamic religion to keep birds.

Three of those held by the group in the eastern province of Diyala have reportedly been killed, according to a security official.

Abu Abdullah, a farmer, said a total of six gunmen barged into his home earlier this week and dragged away his 21-year-old son.

Mr Abdullah's son is just one of the 15 young men – all aged between 16 and 22 – who have reportedly been captured in the province for breeding birds.

Pigeon breeding is a popular hobby in the region, but it is said to be frowned upon by extremist Islamist fighters because they believe it is a distraction from worshipping Allah.

U.S. Failure
ISIS has doubled the area they control in Syria during
the American bombing campaign.

Mr Abdullah, 52, said he was standing beside his son when ISIS militants stormed the family home and kidnapped his son.

He told NBC News: 'I asked them why and they said: "He is not following the real Islam, he must be punished for being a pigeon breeder. This habit is taking him away from worshiping Allah."

'I begged them again to know where are they taking him, what are they going to do to him. They said he is going to be taken to be judged according to the Islamic Sharia.

'They pushed me, and when my son tried to stop them from pushing me they beat him. Then they put him inside the car and left.'

He said the militants also scoured the house for pigeons before rounding up the birds, dumping them in bags and burning them.

Mr Abdullah added: 'We are helpless and hopeless. I know they will kill him sooner or later.

'I'm waiting for someone to tell me he was killed, and the only thing I will do is take his body and bury it.'

The news comes after it was revealed that ISIS extremists executed 13 teenage boys for watching the Asian Cup football match between Iraq and Jordan last week.

The young football fans had been caught watching the game on television in the Iraqi city of Mosul, which is controlled by the Islamic State.

The teenagers were rounded up and publicly executed by a firing squad using machine guns, according to anti-ISIS activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently.

The small activist group said the teenagers were rounded up by militants in the Al-Yarmouk district of Mosul after 'breaking religious laws' by watching football.

It came just days after ISIS released a video showing two men being thrown off the top of a tower block in Raqqa, Syria, for being gay.

A masked Islamic State fighter announced the charges against the accused using a small handheld radio, before declaring them guilty of engaging in homosexual activities.

He said they should be punished by death, in accordance with Islamic State's radical interpretation of Sharia law.

The men were then bound and blindfolded before being pushed off the 100ft tower block to their death.
