The country of Scotland is apparently considering banning the ownership of cats as pets. The people behind this are concerned that housecats kill too many birds. Hasn’t that been going on for as long as cats have existed? It’s just one of the things that cats do, it’s in their DNA.

Would the people of Scotland actually consent to a rule like this? People who love cats tend to be really into owning cats as pets.

The UK is known for this kind of Nanny State nonsense, so the rule proposal isn’t much of a surprise. What would be shocking is if it actually passes.

GB News reports:

Households in Scotland could be prohibited from owning cats as part of new plans aimed at protecting the country’s wildlife.

A report by the Scottish Animal Welfare Commission (SAWC) – ordered by the Scottish Government – states that cats are wreaking havoc on the local population of mammals and birds.

The body estimates about 250,000 bats and 27 million birds in the UK are killed each year by felines…

In particularly “vulnerable areas”, cat ownership could be banned altogether in order to protect the wildlife.

The advisory group also suggested installing “cat containment areas” to stop cats from roaming and hunting.

Cats in these zones must be kept indoors, only being allowed outside if they are on a lead or kept in enclosed outdoor runs.

“I’m currently out of the country, but if what I’ve written here qualifies as an offence under the terms of the new act, I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment.”

Rowling posted pictures of 10 high-profile trans people on Twitter and mocked their claims to be women.

Police Trained To Target Comedians Under Hate Crime Laws

Police in Scotland are being trained to target actors and comedians under new hate crime laws set to be activated next month, reports The Herald, citing leaked police documents.

Training materials obtained by the outlet state that content deemed to be “threatening and abusive” under the Hate Crime and Public Order can be communicated “through public performance of a play.”

A slide from the leaked training material titled “stirring up hatred” also lists ‘protected’ characteristics including age, disability, religion, sexual orientation and transgender identity.

In other words, under First Minister Humza Yousaf’s new law, any performer who for example ‘misgenders’ trans people, jokes about race or religion, or even criticises migrants can potentially be prosecuted.

The training material further states that even those forwarding or sharing material deemed to be ‘hateful’ can also be targeted under the law.

COVID GESTAPO "Strike Force" To ‘Involuntarily Detain’ Unvaccinated

The state of Washington may amend a law to allow the forcible detainment of residents into COVID “internment camps” for defying state vaccine mandates.

The proposed revision to the COVID protocol under the Communicable and Certain Other Diseases Act, called WAC 246-100-040, outlines “procedures for isolation or quarantine.”

The amendment would grant local health officers at “his other sole discretion” to “issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine.”

Additionally, the measure would allow law enforcement to assist public health officials in detaining residents who refused the COVID injection.

WAC-246-100-040 states that “a local health officer may invoke the powers of police officers, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and employees of any political subdivisions within the jurisdiction of the health department to enforce immediately orders given to effectuate the purposes of this section in accordance with the provisions of RCW 43.20.050(4) and 70.05.120.”

The “emergency detention order” would allow individuals to be detained “for a period not to exceed ten days.”

This alarming measure comes in tandem with Gov. Jay Inslee’s (D) effort to hire “strike teams” to run quarantine camps, outlined in the state’s governmentjobs.com website, a term that has since been scrubbed from the website sometime after the bulletin was posted in September 2021.

Now the state website says “Isolation and Quarantine Camp Consultant” duties include “Maintaining the readiness of the facility and equipment which includes ensuring contractors have cleaned the facility adequately.”

The so-called “Isolation & quarantine team consultants” will earn $3,294 to $4,286 monthly for their services, according to the website.

Notably, WAC 246-100-040 was certified on October 25, 2019, just months before the COVID-19 pandemic began in January 2020.

COVID Vaccine Rash All Over Her Body

(Newswars)  -  A mom in Scotland suffered a severe rash that covered her entire body shortly after receiving a Covid-19 vaccine.

41-year-old hairdresser Leigh King of Lanarkshire says she began experiencing adverse effects almost immediately after she received her first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 12.

“It was a horrible feeling,” King told the UK’s Daily Record. “Never in my life was I prepared for what I was about to experience.”

King suffered a side effect that caused her skin to break out into a painful rash that spread throughout her entire body. The condition has persisted for more than two weeks.

“My skin was so sore and constantly hot,” she described. “I have never felt pain like this it has been a horrible experience.”

“I am a very healthy person and am not on any medication or anything like that. I am not even in a vulnerable category,” she explained, adding, “I only got the vaccine as I am an unpaid carer for my son who has autism and mobility issues.”

“I haven’t even been able to care for him since I got the vaccine as I am in such pain,” King laments.

According to King, the rash has affected her relationship with her 13-year-old son, who’s afraid to come near her and has been struggling to understand what’s happening.

“At home is his happy place and I am his best pal. I got this vaccine to care for Aidan but I haven’t even been able to do that,” she says, describing the situation as “physically and mentally draining for the whole family.”

"Hate Speech" in Homes to be Prosecuted by Government

 

(WND)  Scotland's justice minister says he intends to clamp down on "hate speech" in private homes under a new bill that critics warn could make possessing the Bible a crime.

The bill leaves out a crucial defense included in other U.K. hate crime legislation, which protects conversations in the home from police intervention, free speech advocates point out, according to the U.K.'s Christian Institute.

Humza Haroon Yousaf, the cabinet secretary for justice,
issued the warning in a conversation with the Justice Committee about the proposed legislation.

The Christian Institute said Yousaf is refusing to provide a "dwelling defense," insisting that "hateful speech" in the home should be criminalized.

Lord Bracadale, the judge whose recommendations led to the bill, later advised members of the Scottish Parliament that they should think carefully about allowing a public order offense to extend into the private sphere.

He said concern about such actions are "well-founded."

The Times of London reported the justice secretary said conversations over the dinner table that incite hatred must be prosecuted under the law.

It noted that journalists and theater directors also could face charges if what they write is perceived as deliberately stoking "prejudice."

(Summit News)  -  Police in Scotland turned up at a 10-year-old girl’s birthday party after a neighbor snitched on her family for not following coronavirus social distancing rules.

Yes, really.

Mum Leanne Macdonald said she deliberately spaced out visits by relatives so as not to violate Scotland’s strict COVID-19 regulations.

But this didn’t stop her neighbor from snitching on her and two uniformed police officers entering the home to warn her she was now on “alert” and would be charged and fined if she broke the rules again.

“I could not believe it. They came to the door and told me I had been reported for having people in my house,” she told the Daily Record.

“So the police can come in my house, but my family can’t?” asked Macdonald.

She apologized for the infraction, pleading that her relatives “were not all inside and they weren’t all here at the same time and we all kept a social distance.”

The 36-year-old mother has now been placed on a coronavirus “watchlist” for celebrating her daughter Myla’s birthday with family.

“It feels like we are totally losing all our freedoms to this virus and it feels a bit like they are making it up as they go along,” said Macdonald, adding that police should be focused on more serious crimes.

Edwyn Collins (born 23 August 1959) is a Scottish musician, producer and record label owner from Edinburgh, Scotland. Collins was the lead singer for the 1980s post-punk band Orange Juice, which he co-founded.

Whites Banned At Anti-Racism Event

(Telegraph)  -  The University of Edinburgh has been criticised for hosting an “anti-racism” event in which white people were due to be banned from asking questions.

The conference has been organised by the Resisting Whiteness group which opposes racism and describes itself as a QTPOC (queer and trans people of colour) organisation.

There will be two “safe spaces” at the event one of which white people will be barred from entering.

The safe places are meant for those who feel “overwhelmed/overstimulated or uncomfortable”.

A blurb for the “conference, talks and workshops” at the city’s Pleasance Theatre, which aim to “amplify the voices of people of colour,  says: "We will therefore not be giving the microphone to white people during the Q&As, not because we don't think white people have anything to offer to the discussion, but because we want to amplify the voices of people of colour.

"If you are a white person with a question, please share it with a member of the committee or our speakers after the panel discussion."

Questions explored during the conference will include “what does it mean to be a queer and/or trans person of colour in a society that frequently does not want to see us?”.

However, Jane McColl, an anti-racism campaigner, said the event itself was “blatantly racist”, adding: “It sets back the battle to achieve equality and fairness by decades, all because of the actions of a tiny group of extremists, whose perverse sense of logic has led them to belittle white people, not by who they are as individuals, by merely because of their skin colour.

"Imagine if this event was called 'Resisting Blackness' and non-white people were told they could not ask questions, nor access a room because they were the 'wrong' colour."

Gingerbread men replaced by ‘gingerbread persons’

GINGERBREAD men have been banned from Scottish Parliament because they are "sexist".

The traditional biscuits sold at the cafe in Holyrood are now called "gingerbread persons" in a new scheme to stamp out sexism.

The £1.45 iced sweet treats, on sale ahead of Christmas, featured a tag with the hand-written title “gingerbread person”.

But the move has been slammed by Annie Wells, equalities spokesperson for the Scottish Conservatives who called it a "pointless gesture".

She said: "Surely the Scottish Parliament has got better things to do than worry about what to call gingerbread men?

"This is an utterly pointless gesture which simply trivialises the real issues of gender equality."

Exasperated Twitter users also mocked the move, with one woman saying: "So we're not allowed to call it Gingerbread men anymore as Holyrood have banned them and came [up] with the name gingerbread person!!!

"It's not fucking sexism, it's a bloody biscuit!"

The move came after it was revealed 30 per cent of women working there said they had been sexually harassed.

Transgender Murderer to get sex change operation in prison

(Infowars)  -   transgender murderer in the UK serving a life sentence for torturing and beating a man to death has been given the green light to undergo a sex change operation at taxpayer expense.

Along with two accomplices, 27-year-old Paris Green (born Peter Laing), who has identified as a woman since 2011, tortured, sexually assaulted and beat a man to death and was jailed for life in 2013.

Green’s victim, 45-year-old Robert Shankland, was beaten so badly that his attackers left a footprint on his neck. He was also raped with a rolling pin. Green was initially held at a women’s prison in Stirling but was moved after having sex with other prisoners in the same cell.

Having claimed gender reassignment surgery as a human right, Green will now be transported on a 1,000-mile round-trip from a prison in Scotland to a hospital in the south of England before undergoing the surgery at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds.

The operation will be undertaken by NHS doctors, meaning that the British taxpayer will pick up the bill.

“Most of the people I’ve discussed this with think it’s outrageous,” one police source told the Times. “You can murder someone brutally but while you’re in prison you’re entitled to everything you ask for, no matter the burden you put on a stretched system, because it might breach your human rights to say no.”

“What about the rights of the victim and his family? Is anyone thinking of them? Is it not another slap in the face they could do without?” asked the officer.

Former prison doctor and author Theodore Dalrymple warned that prisoners were demanding sex change operations in increasing numbers merely as a way to exploit the system and annoy authorities.

“Prisoners used to change religion, sometimes with accompanying changes of diet, as a means of occupying their time and irritating or embarrassing the prison authorities. But increasingly, prisoners are changing sex to achieve the same ends. No one in authority has sufficient courage to say no to them,” he said.

Dalrymple said the case highlighted “a deep moral cowardice infects many countries in the Western world, with Britain in the vanguard of the rush to surrender.”

(Breitbart London)  -  British police have promised not to tolerate any speech that could cause offence on social media regarding Syrian migrants, after arresting a man for Facebook comments made about recent arrivals on his small Scottish Island.

The tiny Isle of Bute in the Firth of Clyde, which had a total population of just 6,498 in 2011, is expected to take in around 1,000 Syrian migrants, with 12 families already arriving since December last year.

Police have confirmed they have arrested a 41-year-old local man under the Communications Act, after receiving a report of a supposedly “offensive” comment made on Facebook regarding the migrants.

A police spokesman was unequivocal, that any harsh criticism of the Muslim influx would not be “tolerated”. Inspector Ewan Wilson from Dunoon police office told the Guardian following the arrest:

“I hope that the arrest of this individual sends a clear message that Police Scotland will not tolerate any form of activity which could incite hatred and provoke offensive comments on social media”.

(Business Insider)  -  The Queen is set to lose out on £2 million ($3.2 million) a year because the Scottish government is refusing to give her any more money.

Senior Scottish parliament sources said in no uncertain terms to several British newspapers, including The Guardian, The Telegraph, and The Times, that Scotland's parliament, now led by Nicola Sturgeon, was looking to ax handouts from the Crown Estate, north of the border.

The Daily Mail said, without citing sources, "from April 1 next year, the SNP-led Scottish government has chosen to bank the money itself."

Meanwhile, an unnamed senior aide told The Guardian "originally, Alex Salmond did imply that might happen. But the new leadership said no," in response to the claim that Scotland would still give the Queen money from the Crown Estate.

In The Telegraph, a senior aide said Scotland would not be giving money from the Crown Estate to the Queen: "Not through the Sovereign Grant, no." The courtier added the rest of the UK could bear the cost burden: "At the moment there's no other mechanism in place to compensate. It would be nice if the proportion was increased from the rest of the UK."

The Crown Estate is an independent commercial business that manages the Queen's property portfolio, which mainly includes land and properties.

The profits are passed on to the UK Treasury, and a slice is given to the Queen.

LONDON — David Cameron has made his "final offer."

After much speculation and negotiation the prime minister said late Wednesday evening he would participate in only one televised debate ahead of the general election in May.

In a letter to broadcasters, Cameron said he won't partake in a head-to-head debate with Labour leader Ed Miliband, but agreed to a seven-way leaders' debate.

The BBC, Channel 4, Sky and ITV had proposed three separate debates, two involving the Conservatives, Labour, the Liberal Democrats, UKIP, the Greens, the SNP and Plaid Cymru, and a third debate between just Cameron and Miliband.

Cameron's director of communications told broadcasters the one and only debate would have to happen before the dissolution of parliament, the week ending March 30, and could be 90-minutes long.

But the other parties and the broadcasters appear to be holding firm on more than one debate.

Following reports Wednesday night, Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg tweeted:

While on Thursday morning, former Lib Dem leader Paddy Ashdown said if Cameron won't do the head-to-head debate, Clegg could stand in for him against Miliband.

"I’m told that Downing Street is now depending on the Liberal Democrats to say no. Well, I’ve got bad news for them. We’re not going to," Ashdown told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.

The Scottish National Party could win 56 of Scotland’s 59 parliamentary seats, according to the veteran polling analyst Mike Smithson. This would virtually wipe out the Labour party and the Liberal Democrats north of the border.

The projected success of the SNP would almost cancel out Labour gains in other parts of Great Britain, producing a dead heat between the two main parties on 7 May, according to Ashcroft’s projections. 

The former Tory treasurer, who now insists he is an impartial pollster, suggested that the Tories and Labour would be tied on 272 seats each. Labour won 258 seats in 2010 while the Tories won 306 seats.

In free elections the Belgians elected 12 different political parties to represent every possible faction of their society to the national government.  If you did not like one party you had multiple other real parties to choose from.  That is called freedom in every democratic nation on earth.

Meanwhile back in the U.S. the two corrupt, Washington D.C. funded political parties magically won 100% of all elections to Congress.  If you did not like either the open borders Democrats or the open borders GOP you were basically told to fuck off.
