Theodore Roosevelt On The Corrupt Elites
Theodore Roosevelt Saw The Danger
tIt was not that long ago, in my ultra-Libertarian phase, that I was screaming about TR the Socialist. But after the last four years I have done a 180. TR never dreamed Corporate power and corruption would grow this large.
“These international bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests control the majority of the newspapers and the columns in those papers to club into submission or drive out of office officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government.”

"Now, this means that our government, national and state, must be freed from the sinister influence or control of special interests. Exactly as the special interests of cotton and slavery threatened our political integrity before the Civil War, so now the great special business interests too often control and corrupt the men and methods of government for their own profit. We must drive the special interests out of politics. That is one of our tasks to-day."

Type in "Idiot" and get Trump photos - Google Corruption
The GOP is Silent as Usual
Google rigs your searches.
Type in "idiot" and get photos of Trump.
Type in "idiot" on Google and get endless photos of the President . . . but our hack bought and paid for political leaders tell us not to worry. These are private companies. They can fuck you if they want.
Democrats are goosestepping into Marxism while using Leftist thugs as allies to attack all freedom of speech that is to the left of Stalin.
More disturbing is the near total Silence of the GOP. Republicans pretend to care about the Constitution but hide under their desks as Conservatives are being openly raped on the Internet.

Bernie Sides With Trump Over ‘Incredibly Large’ Amazon
"I regard this contest as one to determine who shall rule this free country—the people through their governmental agents, or a few ruthless and domineering men whose wealth makes them peculiarly formidable because they hide behind the breastworks of corporate organization.”
Theodore Roosevelt
(Daily Caller) - Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders agrees with President Donald Trump that Amazon is out of control and wields too much “power and influence” over small business people.
The senator who ran against Hillary Clinton for the 2016 presidential nomination was asked Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” if he thinks Trump was right to attack Amazon over the weekend because the online company is almost weekly increasing the size of its footprint on American commerce.
“Yeah, I do. I do. I think this is — look, this is an issue that has got to be looked at,” Sanders said.
“And I think this is — look, this is an issue that has got to be looked at. What we are seeing all over this country is the decline in retail. We’re seeing this incredibly large company getting involved in almost every area of commerce. And I think it is important to take a look at the power and influence that Amazon has.”
Sanders suggested the concentration of economic activity will lead to lower paying jobs.
“You know, right now, in this country — we don’t talk about it enough — there are millions of people who are working two or three jobs because wages are much too low. And what the American people say is, raise the minimum wage to a living wage, 15 bucks an hour.”
Trump has been raging on his Twitter account over Amazon — about its size, for allegedly not paying state taxes and for becoming a burden on the U.S. Postal Service.
The president has also drawn a connection between Amazon and the Washington Post because Jeff Bezos, who founded Amazon, is also the owner of the newspaper. Trump said that relationship makes the Post a paid lobbyist.

1984 - Free speech shut down by Google and Facebook
Bust The Trusts
- Teddy saw the truth. We need to break up the giant corporations. Massive multi-national corporate power corrupts. Today we are seeing these Fascist Internet companies shutting down free speech.
- For now the Oligarchs are targeting the Conservative Internet media. Once that is done they will come for the Leftist sites that dare question the Elites.
- I am counting the days until this small blog is deleted for committing "Thought Crimes".
(WorldNet Daily) - Those on our News Alert subscriber list have heard from me daily for the last few weeks, updating them on our efforts to pull out of a severe financial crisis that has gripped WND due in large part to the predatory practices of what I call the “Digital Cartel” – chiefly Google and Facebook – who have managed to all but destroy digital advertising for independent news organizations like WND.
As a result, I launched a fund-raising campaign to raise $200,000 by March 1 to bail out WND while we re-invent ourselves and our revenue model in an age when the giants of the Internet – from Google and Facebook to Amazon and Twitter – have dramatically changed the online world to squeeze out organizations like WND. I’m glad to say we’re almost there – ever-so-close to our March 1 goal of $200,000. All we need in the next three days is another $36,000.
However, possibly some readers are skeptical. Perhaps they think I’m exaggerating the threat posed to the nation’s independent media by Google and Facebook.
Well, consider that none other than CNN’s president, Jeff Zucker, has now publicly confirmed – to the letter – everything I’ve been saying for weeks.
In a speech he gave Monday in Barcelona, the CNN chief urged U.S. government authorities to pay closer attention to the raw power wielded by Google and Facebook, who together are making it all but impossible for news organizations to “survive.” That’s right – he said that.
“In a Google and Facebook world, monetization of digital and mobile continues to be more difficult than we would have expected or liked,” Zucker said. And without something new to support news organizations, he added, “good journalism will go away.”
Of course, the difference between WND and CNN – aside from the fact that WND is committed to real news while CNN, due to its hatred of President Trump, is daily drowning in the fake variety – is that CNN is owned by super-wealthy Time Warner and has tremendous resources to float it even as the Digital Cartel dries up its advertising. WND has no such resources, no big corporate backers and no billionaire “sugar daddies.” WND has always earned its own way.
Still, Zucker is accurate in bemoaning the fact that, “nobody for some reason is looking at these monopolies that are Google and Facebook. That’s where the government should be looking, and helping to make sure everyone else survives. I think that’s probably the biggest issue facing the growth of journalism in the years ahead.”
Repeat: Even the head of CNN now concedes that the anti-competitive practices of the Digital Cartel are “the biggest issue facing the growth of journalism in the years ahead.”
As for WND, I’ve made my case for all of my colleagues in the alternative, independent, non-fake news business that the Digital Cabal is proactively out to get us.

1984 - Corporations to Censor Internet News
Think While it is Still Legal
- Everyone wants you to shut the fuck up and obey your "betters". Thinking for yourself is a thought crime and must be punished at all costs.
(Wall Street Journal) - Unilever PLC is threatening to pull back its advertising from popular tech platforms, including YouTube and Facebook Inc., if they don’t do more to combat the spread of fake news, hate speech and divisive content.
“Unilever will not invest in platforms or environments that do not protect our children or which create division in society, and promote anger or hate,” Unilever Chief Marketing Officer Keith Weed is expected to say Monday during the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s annual leadership meeting in Palm Desert, Calif.
“We will prioritize investing only in responsible platforms that are committed to creating a positive impact in society,” he will say, according to prepared remarks.
Unilever, one of the world’s largest advertisers, is leveraging its spending power to push the digital media industry to weed out content that funds terrorism, exploits children, spreads false news or supports racist and sexist views.
The consumer-products giant spent more than $9 billion marketing its brands such as Lipton, Dove and Knorr last year, according to the company’s annual report.
In the wake of the 2016 election, YouTube, Facebook and other tech companies have come under scrutiny for allowing the spread of misinformation—criticism partly fueled by evidence that Russian actors used their platforms to disseminate information designed to manipulate U.S. voters.

Kelloggs and Apple try to censor Breitbart News
Corporate Censorship
"How Dare Conservatives Speak Their Minds"
(Breitbart) - Kellogg Co. announced on Tuesday its decision to pull ads from conservative media giant Breitbart.com because its 45,000,000 monthly conservative readers are not “aligned with our values as a company.”
In response, Breitbart News, one of the world’s top news publishers, has launched a #DumpKelloggs petition and called for a boycott of the ubiquitous food manufacturer.
“We regularly work with our media-buying partners to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kellogg’s flak Kris Charles. “We recently reviewed the list of sites where our ads can be placed and decided to discontinue advertising on Breitbart.com. We are working to remove ads from that site.”
Kellogg’s offered no examples of how Breitbart’s 45 million monthly readers fail to align with the breakfast maker’s values. Indeed, the move appears to be one more example of anout-of-touch corporation embracing false left-wing narratives used to cynically smear the hard working Americans that populate this nation’s heartland.

Apple removed the Breitbart News
app from iTunes
Apple allied themselves with Leftist
Democrats to censor news
Update: After this article was published, Apple appeared to have reinstated the Breitbart app.
(Infowars) - Apple has removed the Breitbart News app from their iTunes marketplace as the fascistic censorship of free speech and truth journalism kicks into high gear.
While the GooglePlay store still carries Breitbart’s Android-compatible app, there is now no official Breitbart app avail for Apple products, despite it having been available for the last three years.
Breitbart.com currently ranks 28th on SimilarWeb’s Top 100 U.S. Media sites, with over 168 million page views in October alone, but is a primary target for a massive, concerted effort by globalists to silence and suppress all opposition voices deemed arbitrarily as “fake news.”
The war on Breitbart has increased exponentially since CEO Steve Bannon was appointed to helm Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and even more after Bannon was announced at the White House Chief Strategist.
Twitter has refused to verify Breitbart’s account, despite the outlet’s ranking as the top political social media publisher in the world, beating its closest competitor, the Huffington Post, by nearly two million interactions.
Neither Apple or Twitter have commented on these contentious decisions.Read More . . . .

FLASHBACK - Communist Chinese / Harry Reid Corruption
Corruption cover up by the
Corporate Media Complex
The endless, 24-7 media attacks on Donald Trump needs to be understood in a larger context.
What we are reading and viewing is the corrupt product produced by the Government Media Complex which is owned by multi-national corporations and Oligarch Billionaires looking to profit from their connections to the bipartisan Republicrat machine.
The story of Democrat Senator Harry Reid in bed with the Communists should have been front page news and the focus of TV news and attacks by every Republican. But the Government Media Complex protects its own and the GOP proved by their silence there there is only one party - The Republicrats.
Only through the free Internet news media do we have any chance of getting honest reporting. So believe NOTHING that comes from the Media Machine. NOTHING.

The Oligarchs Have Only Become Stronger Since Theodore Roosevelt
"I regard this contest as one to determine who shall rule this free country—the people through their governmental agents, or a few ruthless and domineering men whose wealth makes them peculiarly formidable because they hide behind the breastworks of corporate organization.”
.
—Theodore Roosevelt
Address at the Pilgrim Memorial Monument, Provincetown, Mass., August 20, 1907
By Gary;
Is Donald Trump our new Theodore Roosevelt? I hope so.
TR screamed about the corrupt "Malefactors of great wealth" who were buying Congressmen and Senators in order to gain influence over government.
If anything the corruption has exploded by a factor of 100.
The corporations that claimed they were too big to fail are now even larger. When they go down in the next Depression the Federal Reserve's printing presses will be running 24-7 to flood the country with cash and bail out the Elites from their own mistakes.
Unfortunately since TR's day corporations have morphed into Mussolini style Corporatism where the multi-national Elites are manufacturing news for the government that they own and also crack down on Internet freedom of speech.
- We see Facebook censor anti-Hillary posts.
- Also Facebook banned Michael Savage for posting about Muslim terrorism.
- The government shutting off the Internet of Julian Assange.
- Assange has been held prisoner in the Ecuadorian embassy on trumped up sex charges on the orders of Obama and the Elites.
- Right-wingers devise secret internet language to dodge online censorship.
- The British crack down on freedom of Internet speech.
- Facebook is working to censor your posts on immigration.
Theodore Roosevelt saw the danger and corruption of giant corporations gaining control of our nation and worked to bust their monopolies. The sad thing is the corporate Elites are now multi-national in nature and are often beyond the laws of any single country.
There is no hope to be found from either party in the bought and paid for Congress. When was the last time you saw a phony "small government" Republican speak out against the persecution of Julian Assange? How about never. The corrupt GOP wants Assange silenced just as badly as the Democrats.
We are being tag-teamed by two corrupt big government parties.
Teddy where are you when we need you?

Obamatrade signed in secret without debate
"Corruptus in Extremis"
- Prepare to ship even more middle class jobs overseas.
- The corrupt assholes in the Democrat and Republican Parties have been hiding the Obamatrade bill from the public and deliberately not debating this bill in public.
- Without publicity Obama has had the bill signed in New Zealand, as far away from the American public as possible.
- There still has to a vote by Congress to make it official, but even that vote is corrupt. The Constitution says foreign treaties require a 2/3s vote to pass the Senate. But this treaty has been made into a "bill" that requires only a majority to pass.
(New Straight Times) - Twelve countries including Malaysia have finally signed the ambitious Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement here Thursday which is set to expand markets, reduce tariffs and promote freer trade.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed signed the comprehensive 21st century pact for Malaysia that represents nearly 40 per cent of global gross domestic product worth US$30 trillion.
The signing of the TPPA in New Zealand’s capital city is the culmination of five years and 19 rounds of tough negotiations. The 12 countries include New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Mexico, Japan, Peru, Canada, Vietnam, United States, Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia.

Bernie Sanders channels Theodore Roosevelt
Bernie: 'Break up the big banks'
- Shades of Theodore Roosevelt - Actually I think Bernie is on the right track here. The super-sized banks that were "too big to fail" in 2008 are now far, far larger. When these monster banks go bust in the next Wall Street dump they will drag down the entire economy.
- We are not talking about "free markets". These banks are backed by the U.S. Treasury. Remember no one went to jail for the fraudulent real estate loans from the last crisis.
(Associate Press) — Characterizing Wall Street as an industry run on "greed, fraud, dishonesty and arrogance," Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders pledged to break up the country's biggest financial firms within a year and limit banking fees placed on consumers, should he become president, in a fiery speech on Tuesday.
He coupled that promise, delivered in front of a raucous crowd just a few subway stops from Wall Street, with a series of attacks on rival Hillary Clinton, arguing her personal and political ties make her unable to truly take on the financial industry.
"To those on Wall Street who may be listening today, let me be very clear: Greed is not good," said Sanders, in a reference to Oliver Stone's 1980s film, "Wall Street."
"If Wall Street does not end its greed, we will end it for them," he said, as a cheering audience jumped to its feet.
Sanders has made regulating Wall Street a focus of his primary bid, with calls to curb the political influence of "millionaires and billionaires" at the core of his message. But the attacks on Clinton marked an escalation in his offensive against the Democratic front-runner. Clinton's policies, he said, would do little more than "impose a few more fees and regulations."
"My opponent says that, as a senator, she told bankers to 'cut it out' and end their destructive behavior," he said, to laughter. "But, in my view, establishment politicians are the ones who need to cut it out," he said.
Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have made tens of millions in speaking fees from addresses to Wall Street banks, insurance companies and other financial firms — a fact Sanders alluded to in his speech, saying the banks give "very generous speaking fees to those who go before them."
Sanders vowed to create a "too-big-to-fail" list of companies within the first 100 days of his administration whose failure would pose a grave risk to the U.S. economy without a taxpayer bailout. Those firms would be forced to reorganize within a year.

From Tea Party to Corporate Whore - Congressman Stephen Fincher's Journey
![]() |
| "Make the check out to cash please." |
"Corruptus in Extremis"
- Congressmen no longer represent the people. They represent the open borders Wall Street Billionaire Cartels shoveling mountains of corrupt cash into their campaigns.
- Here we see the system corrupting the Tea Party. If you wonder why no Conservative legislation is ever passed this is the reason.
- Unless an apathetic public wakes up and demands election reform we will be ruled over by a corrupt oligarchy.
(Washington Examiner) - Washington corrupts, and GOP Congressman Stephen Fincher is proof.
Fincher, once an opponent of the Export-Import Bank —a federal agency that subsidizes foreign buyers of U.S.-made goods — now is trying to undermine his party's leadership by teaming up with Nancy Pelosi and her party in order to reauthorize Ex-Im Bank as President Obama and his big donors in the business lobby have demanded.
The obvious explanation is that Fincher has pulled up his Tennessee roots and is now firmly planted in D.C. Instead of serving Western Tennessee, Fincher, who sits on the Financial Services Committee, now represents Wall Street and K Street.
Fincher has raised a quarter-million for his re-election, according to his most recent campaign finance filing. Exactly two of his approximately 150 donations have come from Tennessee residents. Tennessee residents have given Fincher a combined $750, which rounds to 0 percent of his money raised.
Fincher has raised more money from the K Street firm Barbour, Griffith, and Rogers than he has from individuals in Tennessee. More than 99 percent of the money powering Fincher's re-election bid comes from political action committees (almost all of them corporate PACs) and K Street lobbyist types.
Studying this lengthy list of Fincher's PAC donors is revealing.
Fincher introduced his bill to reauthorize Ex-Im on Jan. 28. Two days later his campaign deposited a $2,000 check from General Electric, Ex-Im's second-largest beneficiary and most ruthless defender. GE in recent days has announced it was moving jobs to Canada and Europe to chase those countries' export subsidies — though all of those jobs appear to be either nonexistent or already slated to go offshore for other reasons.
Boeing (which benefits from 40 percent of Ex-Im subsidies) and United Technologies chipped in about a week and a half later. All of Ex-Im's top beneficiaries, exporters and lenders (notably Ex-Im's leading lender JPMorgan), have given to Fincher's re-election.
Other corporate welfare recipients give to Fincher and benefit from his votes. Fincher has voted to protect the federal sugar program, whereby our government keeps out foreign sugar and issues taxpayer-backed loans to guarantee high prices for U.S. sugar growers. This hurts families, U.S.-based foodmakers and the economy, while benefitting a handful of privileged sugar companies.
Tennessee produces no sugarcane or sugar beets, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's 2012 Ag Census. But Fincher's donors do.
Sugar Cane Growers of Florida PAC, American Crystal Sugar PAC, American Sugar Cane League PAC, Florida Sugar Cane League PAC, Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Co-Op PAC and the U.S. Beet Sugar PAC are all Fincher donors and all beneficiaries of the corporate welfare Fincher supports.
Fincher's top two sources of funds, according to OpenSecrets.org, are the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and Regions Financial. Both of these bodies profit from and lobby to expand the federal crop insurance program. Fincher, of course, voted to expand federal crop insurance by $9 billion over 10 years.
