Ant-Man and the Wasp

Brainless Fun

By Gary;

Brainless summer fun. What more do you need in July.

I hated the Ant-Man comic as a kid. . . . hated it with a deep hate.

Then comes the first movie and I want blown away by the clever plot and acting.

The sequel of any hit film can often lay an egg. But not in the case of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Though the originality of the first film is missing the plot is still good, solid science fiction.

Evangeline Lilly is excellent as the Wasp. The same goes for Paul Rudd   Other than those two I will say the Ant-Man world is getting cluttered with too many characters.

Most of these extra characters do not contribute much to the story and they do not get or deserve enough screen time to become meaningful. So "clutter" they become.

Leaving that to one side, the story is good summer sci fi fun.

Rated 7 out of 10
