A 29-year-old man driving a rental truck plowed down people on a Manhattan bike path Tuesday in what authorities described as a terrorist attack that killed eight and injured 11 before the suspect was shot and arrested by police. Law enforcement officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an open investigation, identified the suspect as Sayfullo Saipov, an Uzbek immigrant who had been living in Tampa. The attack could intensify the political debate over immigration and security. President Trump has argued for much tougher screening of immigrants to prevent terrorism, and opponents of those policies have sought to block his efforts in the courts.
The suspect is reported to have screamed "Allahu Akbar" after the crash, and that is a key reason authorities are looking at terrorism as a possible motive, sources said.

(Newsweek) - The first thing an employer will ask about a resume is any gaps between jobs. But they probably wouldn't suspect that an applicant for a certain role who seems to have been unemployed for a few years was busy fighting for the Islamic State militant group (ISIS).
Jihadis returning to their home countries in Europe are now finding out the hard way, and many cannot get a job as they try to reintegrate into western society.
Swedish daily newspaper Expressen interviewed former jihadis about life after ISIS and they discussed the challenges of finding work. As many as 150 have returned to the Scandinavian country to try and rebuild their lives.
“I just want to forget everything,” Walad Yousef, a 27-year-old returning fighter, told the newspaper. “I apply for a lot of jobs, but I can’t get any because my pictures are out there.”
"You in the media have scared them. I do not know why they are afraid," said a jihadi from the southern city of Malmo of the fears that employees and civilians had of returning foreign fighters.
Sweden is one the best countries for a foreign fighter to return if they want to reintegrate. It is trialling a rehabilitation programme that gives Swedish extremists housing, employment, education and financial support.

(Breitbart London) - A Dutch academic and expert in migration has called for better vetting of new arrivals, claiming 50 million Muslims around the world are prepared to accept the use of violence in “defence” of their religion and ideology. Professor Ruud Koopmans, a former supporter of the left-wing Dutch Green party, said of the 1 billion adult Muslims in the world, “half of them [500 million] are attached to an arch-conservative Islam which places little worth on the rights of women, homosexuals, and people of other faiths”. Speaking to RP-Online, he said around 50 million of the half-a-billion ultra-conservatives were in some way prepared to support violence in the name of Islam. “They support the radicals, they encourage them and provide them shelter or simply keep their mouths shut when they observe radicalisation”, explained the Director of the Research Unit on Migration, Integration, and Transnationalisation at the Berlin Social Sciences Centre.
His 50-million estimate was likely to be “an understatement”, he said, citing studies showing that some eight per cent of German Muslims agreed with the use of violence against “infidels”. In his own country, the Netherlands, he claimed 11 per cent of Muslims agreed with the statement: “There are situations in which it is acceptable for me, from the perspective of my religion, that I use violence.” The professor also cited a study by the American Pew Research Center, which in 2013 asked Muslims in several Islamic countries whether suicide attacks against civilians are justified to defend Islam. An average of 14 per cent surveyed said that such attacks were “often / sometimes” justified.
“If we were to apply the 14 per cent from the Pew study to all of the Muslims worldwide, we would have 140 million supporters of violence,” he said.
When asked if Christians were also prepared to use violence in the name of religion, the professor said he had found little evidence in support of this notion.
“I have indeed investigated the spread of religious fundamentalism and hatred of foreigners among Muslims and Christians in Europe. The results showed that both are much more common among Muslims,” he said. The professor also said Western nations must be more cautious with their immigration and vetting policies. “We owe it to the Christian, Jewish, and non-fundamentalist Muslim refugees who fled because of hatred and intolerance,” he insisted.

The court also ordered Mohammed to pay the equivalent of $2800 to the victim and also gave him probation, claiming his sentences for child rape and sexual exploitation should be lenient because the Syrian migrant claimed he was 17 when the rape occurred in Dec. 2016 at a school in Jämtland County, which is in the middle of Sweden. “The then-17-year-old man, who since turned 18, pulled a 13-year-old girl on one of the school’s toilets, locked the door and then raped her,” reported the Swedish newspaper Expressen. “During the trial, the convicted rapist’s age has been a major issue.”

Jacques Myard, the mayor of Maisons-Laffitte and French National Assembly member, said people needed to be on their guard after a terror-style attack on a soldier outside the Louvre yesterday morning.
A machete-wielding man launched the attack while yelling “Allah Akbar”, according to Michel Cadot, the head of the French capital’s police force.
Mr. Myard blasted the Schengen agreement, which allows border-free travel throughout much of the EU, and said it was impossible to stop every terror attack.
He said: “We have two threats: the threat coming from abroad and of course this is a question of how we control our frontiers.
“This is a failure of Schengen. And we have also a threat inside France because we have a large community of Muslims.
“Not all Muslims are radicals. But we have spotted that over 10,000 of those Islamists can be radicals.
“What happened this morning, it shows really that the threat is inside, and of course you cannot have 100 per cent security everywhere.”

(Express) - AN ENTREPRENEUR from Germany has created trousers with the aim of protecting women from possible sex attacks while they are out jogging - and the first 150 were sold out immediately.
The trousers come with a lock for women’s intimate areas and an alarm, so would ensure the wearers were kept safe from any sex attacks.
Business graduate, Sandra Seilz, decided to invent the trousers after she was attacked by three drunk men when she was jogging in the woods.
Women’s intimate areas will be sealed off with a “protective shield”.
The website says: “Get into your safe shorts, pull the ergonomically placed high-tech cords that are tear and cut-resistant until the trousers are in place.
“The the cords are fixed to a power alarm.
“Should someone try to get into the trousers of the jogger the alarm will go off at a volume of 130 decibels, which is supposed to scare off the attacker.”
The trousers are made of the same material as bullet-proof vests and can only be cut by attackers.
Ms Seilz said: “Safe Shorts provide triple protection against sexual assaults, and we’re very proud of them.”
The inventor Ms Seilz said people should not be worried if there is an emergency, she said: “In ambulances there are electrical devices that can cut the strong material.”
The shorts can be purchased online for €149 on the website www.safeshorts.eu and the businesswomen hopes to also make lockable pants for going out.

This piece is somewhat repetitive and rough overall, plain radical, at times edgy. But what it presents is as brutally true as arithmetic. Some commenters on PI relate their experience as being even worse, asserting thank up to half of all people seen in the downtowns having a Muslim appearance. Even with probable bias deducted, this spells trouble.
The regime, as is known, conceals all relevant facts about the ‘Umvolkung’ [‘people replacement’]. Between 2014 and 2016 alone, Merkel with her “welcome culture” for vagabonds and soldiers of fortune from all over the world has probably drawn about two million Muslims into the country: One million in the legendary year 2015, just under half a million this year, a quarter million 2014, each time plus generously handled family reunions.
To be added to these two million Muslims of the past three years are the roughly five to six million Muslims who we already had at the turn of the millennium. Considering natural population growth of the past 15 years, one arrives at a current number of altogether six to seven million people. Further increased by the also predominantly Mohammedan net settlement in the years between the millennium and 2014 — at around 200,000 people per year another two to three million — one arrives at altogether ten to twelve million Muslim in the country by the end of 2016.
Of these ten to twelve million Muslims, five million — almost half — were settled during Angela Merkel’s years in office alone. Should the trend continue like that for the next ten years — of which there is no doubt, since there is no serious opposition — then we have to reckon with about 15-20 million Muslims in Germany by the year 2025. In the medium term, in light of the government’s radicality and cunning propaganda pushing the state concept of the “Multicoloured Republic”, the Germans haven’t the slightest chance of even beginning to thwart this pressure for colonization. Nor do they have any likely chance to survive the political power-grab of a hostile culture, which is accompanying this colonization.

(Breitbart London) - The German federal migrant agency has admitted that they are letting in migrants even when they have full knowledge that the passports and documentation they carry have been forged.
A new report suggests that the German agency in control of migration, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), knew that passports used by migrants who flooded into the country last year were fake – but let the migrants attempt to claim asylum anyway.
Die Welt reportsthat BAMF had processed some 217,465 passports, birth certificates, and driver’s licenses of asylum seekers and that 2,273 of these documents had been forged.
According to German law, the penalty for forging documentation – especially passports and travel visas – is five years in prison. So far, no migrants have been arrested.
Law enforcement in Germany are extremely concerned by the numbers of migrants who have entered the country on false documentation. The Federation of German Detectives (BDK) has called on BAMF to inform them when forged documents are found, with vice chairman of the BDK Michael Bohl saying that it wasn’t up to the discretion of BAMF to decide if the law had been broken or not.
Mr. Bohl went on to stress that Islamic State, who have already smuggled in fighters during the migrant crisis, could use fake passports to create bank accounts and set up a finance network in Germany. He warned that migrants could wire their government refugee benefits to the terrorist organisation.
The evidence of admitted migrants with fake passports also flies in the face of the German rules on granting asylum. According to the asylum regulations if an asylum seeker who is undergoing the asylum process has either withheld information about their nationality or has tried to deceive authorities then their asylum claim must be immediately rejected.
Sweden may be descending into a crisis as a new report suggests 80 per cent of police officers are considering switching careers due to the danger they face in the field.

Not an iota of consideration for the innocent law-abiding citizens of Sweden. It’s no surprise that 80 percent of Swedish police are currently considering quitting; the very profession which is designated to serve and protect is now being insidiously prevented from carrying out that sworn duty by a politically correct leftist-jihadist alliance which has the West under siege.

(Brietbart London) - Following the release of figures which reveal almost four in ten children under five have foreign roots, Michael Paulwitz says the demographic change will be the death of Germany’s welfare state.
The journalist and historian predicts that “hard struggles” over resources will take place when ethnic Germans are a minority, and that native Germans “will inevitably lose out”.
Mr Paulwitz’ article follows the release on Friday of official figures from the Federal Statistics Office. While they show 21 per cent of the total population currently have a migrant background he notes that such people are disproportionately represented in the younger age cohorts.
One in three people aged under 18 who are resident in Germany have foreign roots, and the number jumps to 36 per cent among people under five.
This, he ominously points out, “allows one to appreciate where [Germany] is headed”. Mr Paulwitz points to the demographics of Berlin, where people with a migration background comprise 30 per cent of residents.
Mr Paulwitz also mentions that ethnic Germans are already minority in the district centre and many of the surrounding central districts.
With these trends in mind, he observes: “First in the cities, later throughout the country, ethnic Germans are to become a minority in their own city and in their own country.
The demographic statistics for this year also show that people with foreign roots are twice as likely to be unemployed than Germans and are significantly more likely to have been educated to only a lower secondary school level, or have no education background at all.
Collected in mid 2015, the Federal Statistics Office data fails to reflect the more than 1.6 million migrants who arrived in 2015 and the first half of 2016, or the huge number of estimated illegal immigrants living in Germany.
Mr Paulwitz points out that while Angela Merkel’s open door policy was a “dramatic escalation” of previous policies, even before she “opened the lock” a quarter of people aged between 15 and 45 had foreign roots in 2014.
He contends that these demographic trends can only increase as, “through family reunification, this number [1.6 million] is expected to at least double if not multiply”.
Furthermore he observes there is an “inexhaustible supply” of Arabs and Africans who want to move to Germany. The historian typifies them as “second, third and fourth sons” of families, who are “demanding” but “lack the education or drive to create their own wealth”.
Taking all of this into account, Mr Paulwitz diagnoses a grim future for Germany and its native population. He forecasts “hard struggles over resources will be the result” and contends that ethnic Germans are “pacified” and “ageing”.
Considering the huge number of people with foreign roots already present, their far higher fertility rate and no sign of an end to the country’s policy of importing hundreds of thousands of migrants a year, Mr Paulwitz says indigenous Germans “will inevitably lose out”. He also foresees that “the sexual assaults, a result of the surplus men imported, will increase”.
Mr Paulwitz concludes: “A government that decides to change the ethnic and cultural structure of the country without asking its people violates the principle of popular sovereignty, constitutional lawyer Dietrich Murswiek has said … It’s surprising that citizens have begun to fight it at the ballot, but more surprising is that so few are doing so.”
