Nothing has changed. Our psychopath "leaders" still forbid peace talks. All that matters is death, death and more death.
Joe Biden blurted out to reporters on Sunday that his decision to send widely-banned cluster bombs to Ukraine was made because "we've run out of ammunition."
"Mr President-- on cluster munitions, why now?" a reporter asked.
"We've run out of ammunition," Biden bluntly responded.
If true, this is a bombshell admission (no pun intended) which I can't imagine our military would want to be revealed publicly by the president to the entire world.
Biden said during an interview with CNN released in part on Friday that the US was running "low" on munitions and the Ukrainians are "running out of ammunition."

(Daily News) - A bipartisan congressional effort, ignoring White House objections, produced a bill Saturday to impose sweeping sanctions against Russia for meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential race and its human rights violations. The bill, due for a Tuesday vote in the House, features a section barring Trump from reducing or ending any part of the Russian rebuke without approval from the House and Senate.
If the bill lands in the Oval Office, Trump faces a pair of personally unpalatable choices: Sign off on the legislation despite his ardent misgivings. Or veto the bill — and foster more speculation about his links to Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Those who threaten America and our interests should take notice — your actions have consequences,” tweeted House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). “Given the many transgressions of Russia, and President Trump’s seeming inability to deal with them, a strong sanctions bill such as the one Democrats and Republicans have just agreed to is essential,” said Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

(EAG News) - Want a school lunch? Get your palm scanned.
That’s the new policy being implemented at elementary schools in Muscogee County, Georgia for the 2015-16 school year.
The district will be using scanning devices that take “a super high-resolution infrared photograph of the vein pattern just below the skin,” WTVM reports.
The image is “recorded, digitized and stored on an encrypted server.”
“It’s a secure way to ensure a student’s identity when paying for a school meal, decreases the time students may spend in line, and takes less than four seconds to complete each sale,” according to School Nutrition Director Susan Schlader.
The devices are already deployed in the district’s high schools and middle schools.
For now, the school district is allowing for opt-outs “in writing” as long as students bring a school ID for lunch payment.
Similar devices have been implemented in other school districts with much different reactions.
Washington’s Puyallup School District planned to use palm scanners at all of its 32 schools last year.
A district spokesman praised the scanners’ “efficiency” and said they would reduce human error and fraud, and would allow parents to know how much their children are spending on lunch.
But parents fought back, wanting to maintain their children’s privacy as much as possible.
“If the school district needs my signature in order to obtain my daughter’s photograph and use that photograph in publication because of a privacy issue, then I believe I should have to sign an authorization to use my child’s identity … for them to do that,” said parent Christina Allen.
“To hear those words ‘vein recognition program’ … it’s very invasive to me. What is it in my daughter’s veins … they need to photograph?” Allen questioned.
In that case, parents ultimately prevailed. School administrators apologized and pulled the plug on the program.

Just as the Bush administration and the U.S. media re-labelled “torture” with the Orwellian euphemism “enhanced interrogation techniques” to make it more palatable, the governments and media of the Five Eyes surveillance alliance are now attempting to re-brand “mass surveillance” as “bulk collection” in order to make it less menacing (and less illegal). In the past several weeks, this is the clearly coordinated theme that has arisen in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and New Zealand as the last defense against the Snowden revelations, as those governments seek to further enhance their surveillance and detention powers under the guise of terrorism.
This manipulative language distortion can be seen perfectly in yesterday’swhite-washing report of GCHQ mass surveillance from the servile rubber-stamp calling itself “The Intelligence and Security Committee of the UK Parliament (ISC)”(see this great Guardian editorial this morning on what a “slumbering” joke that “oversight” body is). As Committee Member MP Hazel Blears explained yesterday (photo above), the Parliamentary Committee officially invoked this euphemism to justify the collection of billions of electronic communications events every day. The Committee actually acknowledged for the first time (which Snowden documents long ago proved) that GCHQ maintains what it calls “Bulk Personal Datasets” that contain “millions of records,” and even said about pro-privacy witnesses who testified before it: “we recognise their concerns as to the intrusive nature of bulk collection.” That is the very definition of “mass surveillance,” yet the Committee simply re-labelled it “bulk collection,” purported to distinguish it from “mass surveillance,” and thus insist that it was all perfectly legal. This re-definition game goes as follows: yes, we vacuum up and store literally as much of the internet as we possibly can. Then we analyze all the data about what you’re doing, with whom you’re speaking, and who your network of associates is.Based on that analysis of all of you and your activities, we then read the communications that we want (with virtually no checks and concealing from you what percentage of it we’re reading), and store as much of the rest of it as technology permits for future trolling. But don’t worry: we’re only reading the Bad People’s emails. So run along then: no mass surveillance here. Just bulk collection! It’s not mass surveillance, but “enhanced collection techniques.” One of the many facts that made the re-defining of “torture” so corrupt and indisputably invalid was that there was long-standing law making clear that exactly these interrogation techniques used by the U.S. government were torture and thus illegal. The same is true of this obscene attempt to re-define “mass surveillance” as nothing more than mere innocent “bulk collection.”
A Nebraska public school district is instructing teachers to stop using “binary” gender expressions like “boys and girls” and instead use “transgender friendly” expressions like “purple penguins.”
Seriously, you are not prepared for the level of brainwashing going on at this school district.
From National Review:
Nebraska school district has instructed its teachers to stop referring to students by “gendered expressions” such as “boys and girls,” and use “gender inclusive” ones such as “purple penguins” instead.
“Don’t use phrases such as ‘boys and girls,’ ‘you guys,’ ‘ladies and gentlemen,’ and similarly gendered expressions to get kids’ attention,” instructs a training document given to middle-school teachers at the Lincoln Public Schools.
“Create classroom names and then ask all of the ‘purple penguins’ to meet on the rug,” it advises.
The document also warns against asking students to “line up as boys or girls,” and suggests asking them to line up by whether they prefer “skateboards or bikes/milk or juice/dogs or cats/summer or winter/talking or listening.”
“Always ask yourself … ‘Will this configuration create a gendered space?’” the document says.
The instructions were part of a list called “12 steps on the way to gender inclusiveness” developed by Gender Spectrum, an organization that “provides education, training and support to help create a gender sensitive and inclusive environment for children of all ages.”
Other items on the list include asking all students about their preferred pronouns and decorating the classroom with “all genders welcome” door hangers.
If teachers still find it “necessary” to mention that genders exist at all, the document states, they must list them as “boy, girl, both or neither.”
Furthermore, it instructs teachers to interfere and interrupt if they ever hear a student talking about gender in terms of “boys and girls” so the student can learn that this is wrong.
“Point out and inquire when you hear others referencing gender in a binary manner,” it states. “Ask things like … ‘What makes you say that? I think of it a little differently.’ Provide counter-narratives that challenge students to think more expansively about their notions of gender.”
The teachers were also given a handout created by the Center for Gender Sanity, which explains to them that “Gender identity … can’t be observed or measured, only reported by the individual,”
Look at that part I bolded. ”It instructs teachers to interfere and interrupt if they hear a student talking about gender in terms of ‘boys and girls’ so that the student can learn that this is wrong.”
This is one of the most clear-cut examples of Orwellian thought policing I have ever seen.

"Russia is Evil. Russia hates Gays. The Olympics suck."
By Gary;
Sometimes I think I am the only sane person left in America.
So far I think I am the only one to point out the full blown Media Thought Police propaganda machine campaign against the Russian Winter Olympics.
That Media campaign has been working overtime to flood the air waves with endless messages of hatred against those evil anti-Gay Russians. How inferior the Russians are to you. That their hotels suck. How they can't get anything right. How corrupt they are etc. etc.
What struck me is how blatant this joint government-business propaganda has been to make the mouth-breathing Sheeple back home direct their hate to a foreigner and forget they are unemployed, on food stamps and screwed over by their own corrupt American government.
The propaganda is a joint action. You had the government wanting to make Russia look weak by the US sending warships, uninvited, to the Russian coast to "help" with security, as if the Russian needed help.
Then you had the government allied Corporatist Giant Media Complex broadcasting propaganda messages 24-7 of anti-Russian hate on Gay rights and pictures of supposed Russian incompetence. "If only the Russians were are good as us" was the message.
This is little more than an Orwellian "Two Minutes of Hate" from 1984 where the corporatist Big Brother machine tells you who to hate and what to think.
But a funny thing happened. The Olympics' opening ceremony, like all Olympics' opening ceremonies, was beautiful and went off fine. The ice skaters are now skating, the skiers are skiing and the ice curlers are curling. Just another Olympics.
Soon you Sheeple out there will forget this story and go back to believing what the controlled media spoon feeds you every day.
Don't think! Trust the TV news!
Orwell Two Minutes of Hate

messages of who you were supposed to hate. Today we have seen the

to you a message of anti-Russian hate and incompetence.

1984 Arrives in New Zealand
New Zealand "conservatives" try to ram through a
Big Brother spy bill.
Governments are the same the world over. Governments FEAR their own people and set up Police State spy systems to protect the Ruling Elites..
It does not matter if it is the "Conservative" GOP in America, the absolute monarchy in Saudi Arabia, the Chinese Communist Party, the UK Conservative Party or now the ruling conservatives in New Zealand. Everyone is spying on their own people.
Now we see thousands of people marching in protest of a new bill that would grant the New Zealand’s government sweeping spy powers. The "conservative" Prime Minister John Key has been playing down the nationwide protests claiming these simple common people are "misinformed" and Big Brother spying is good for them..
The surveillance bill, which is expected to be passed in parliament, would allow New Zealand’s Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) free rein to listen in on citizens’ phone conversations. .
Kiwis took to the streets on Saturday in 11 cities and towns in what has been dubbed as an “uphill battle” to stop the bill from going through reports the New Zealand Herald.
Comparisons with George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984 were rife, with many people holding placards saying "1984 was not supposed to be an instruction manual” and "This is 2013, not 1984."
Big Brother is Always Watching You.
Civil liberties campaigner and Tech Liberty co-founder Thomas Beagle said the GCSB bill was about ``mass surveillance''.
"It's about spying on everyone, no matter what they've done, no matter what they're gong to do,'' he said.
"This sort of mass surveillance changes the balance of power in our society away from the people and towards the state.''
Mr Beagle said it was wrong to suggest people who had done no wrong had nothing to fear from surveillance.
"I believe in the right to privacy, I believe in the right to sit in my house and call my friends on the phone without the Government listening.
"I believe in freedom of expression and freedom of association, for people not being scared into silence because they are being watched by Government spies.''
David Fraser, who came from Waipara to take part in the protest, chose to use "nein", the German word for "no" on his placard to express his sentiment towards the bill.
"I wanted a short punchy message to make people realize this proposal by John Key is so similar to the East German Stasi [the secret police in communist East Germany during the Cold War] and before them the Nazi Gestapo where there was excessive state involvement in everybody’s privacy.

Cameras in your cable box are watching you
Congressman acts to prohibit corporations from
spying on you without your permission.
It hardly gets more Orwellian than this. New technology would allow cable companies to peer directly into television watchers’ homes and monitor viewing habits and reactions to product advertisements.
The technology would come via the cable box, and at least one lawmaker on Capitol Hill is standing in opposition.
Mass. Democratic Rep. Michael Capuano has introduced a bill, the We Are Watching You Act, to prohibit the technology on boxes and collection of information absent consumer permission.
The bill would also require companies that do use the data to show “we are watching you” messages on the screen and to explain just what kinds of information is being captured and for what reasons, reports the Washington Times.
The technology includes cameras and microphones that are installed on DVRs or cable boxes and analyzes viewers’ responses, behaviors and statements to various ads — and then provides advertisements that are targeted to the particular household.
Specifically, the technology can monitor sleeping, eating, exercising, reading and more, AdWeek reported.
“This may sound preposterous, but it’s neither a joke nor an exaggeration,” said Mr. Capuano in a statement, AdWeek reported. “These DVRs would essentially observe consumers as they watch television as a way to super-target ads. It is an incredible invasion of privacy.”

advertising that watches TV viewers. The new patent describes how targeted ads can be
sent to TV viewers based on information collected from infrared cameras, microphones and other
devices that capture the conversations and moods of the people
watching. . Called Verizon Detection Zone, the
system would pick up conversations, people, objects and animals that are near a
TV. For example, if the system determines that a couple is arguing, a service
provider would be able to send an ad for marriage counseling to a TV or mobile
device in the room. See our article: Verizon DVR will spy on you inside your home .

Now Verizon will be recording your private conversations in your home. Take a guess how long it will take for government to tap into those cameras and microphones.
Privacy advocates sue police over license-plate scanner data
Big Brother is bi-partisan. Both parties work together to make
sure you are watched 24 hours a day.
The Bill of Rights and the 4th Amendment have no meaning in the modern bi-partisan Big Brother Police State.
But a few people are still fighting back for freedom. Privacy and civil liberties advocacy groups announced this week that they have sued Los Angeles law enforcement agencies over automatic license-plate reader records.
The devices, which also are in broad use around the Inland area, are typically mounted on patrol cars or utility poles and can read license plates on passing cars and record the time, date and location that a car’s plate was scanned.
The ACLU of Southern California and The Electronic Frontier Foundation jointly filed lawsuits Monday against the Democrat run Los Angeles Police Department and the GOP run Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, accusing them of withholding data in violation of the California Public Records Act reports the Press-Enterprise.

Big Brother is Watching; Thoughtcrime is Illegal.
From Science Fiction to Reality: the Government is employing both Pre-Crime technology and new, frightening surveillance technologies. These are just a portion of such technologies: Pre-Crime spotlights to bathe people in red light, F.A.S.T., Streetlights to monitor your every move and record your conversations, License Plate Scanners, Bugs and Tracking/Listening Devices being put into everyday appliances, Miniature Drones, Cockroaches and other insects with Listening Devices, X-ray vans to see inside your house or vehicle, and new lasers that can detect every molecule inside or on your body, and even Taser Bracelets for airplanes. Unfortunately, all of these devices actually exist. Some of these devices have not yet been employed, but make no mistake, they are coming.
The ACLU and EFF have criticized law enforcement agencies for hoarding data gathered by the license-plate readers, also known as ALPRs, which they say invades the privacy of law-abiding citizens.
“While police can match license plates against databases to find stolen or wanted cars, the systems keep information on every car — even where there’s no reason to think the car is connected to any crime,” an ACLU news release said.
The ACLU said they had sought documents relating to policy and training on the use of the license-plate scanners, as well as a week’s worth of data collected by the agencies in 2012. The departments produced some materials but did not provide documents related to sharing information with other agencies, the release said. Neither agency provided data collected during the one-week period.
Inland law enforcement agencies also are using the license-plate readers to amass large databases of information. As of May 2012, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department had more than 40 of the devices mounted on patrol cars across the county and had stored up more than 6.1 million “reads” dating back to 2007, sheriff’s officials said.
“Police can and should treat location information from ALPRs like other sensitive information — they should retain it no longer than necessary to determine if it might be relevant to a crime, and should get a warrant to keep it any longer,” said ACLU Senior Staff Attorney Peter Bibring in the release. “They should limit who can access it, who they can share it with and create an oversight system to make sure the limits are followed.”
“Location-based information like license plate data can be very revealing,” said EFF Staff Attorney Jennifer Lynch in the release. “By matching your car to a particular time, date and location, and then building a database of that information over time, law enforcement can learn where you work and live, what doctor you go to, which religious services you attend, and who your friends are. The public needs access to the data the police actually collected to be able to make informed decisions about how ALPR systems can and can’t be used.”
“Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else. Not in the individual mind, which can make mistakes, and in any case soon perishes: only in the mind of the Party, which is collective and immortal.” ― George Orwell, 1984
The insane Socialist Biden would tax those horrible "violent" John Wayne movies.
Big Brother Biden: "Tax all violent images."
The Bill of Rights has no meaning to the Marxists in Washington
as these Statists seek to control every aspect of your life.
The American Police State - Comrade Vice President Joe Biden came out for a Big Brother tax on "violent images" that appear in movies and video games. Biden spoke to a group of about 20 representatives from faith-based organizations.
Insane assholes like Biden and Mayor Bloomberg are frightened to death that free people might want to live their lives without the centralized control of a Big Brother authoritarian state.
Those present for the meeting included Franklin Graham, son of the evangelist Billy Graham and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and Barrett Duke, the vice president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the Southern Baptist Convention’s public policy arm.
Graham, two people in the meeting said, told Biden the government should consider taxing media companies that broadcast violent images and produce violent video games reports Politico.
“He floated ideas like the idea that violence should be taxed so that those proceeds would go to help victims and their families,” said Rabbi Julie Schonfeld, the executive vice president of the Rabbinical Assembly.
Biden told Graham that there was “no restriction on the ability to do that, there’s no legal reason why they couldn’t” tax violent images, Clark added.

"Think of the children" - the standard raving of insane Statists
Graham’s representatives did not respond to requests for comment. Biden’s office also did not respond to requests to comment about the meeting.
Biden told the religious leaders that he would like to see a comprehensive study of the impact that violent video games and movies has on developing brains.
“He said they really need a good scientific study, which they’ve done on things like smoking,” Clark said.
Biden thanked the religious leaders for their work on gun control since the White House began pushing for it after the December massacre at Newtown, Conn.
“We are energized,” said Vincent DeMarco, the Baltimore-based national coordinator of Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence. “One way to look at it is we all came out of that room energized in January and helped convince 19 senators and now we got to convince five more.”
All "violent" movies about Jesus would be taxed under Comrade Biden's Marxist tax plans.
Comrade Biden would tax the evil "violent images" of Hollywood pie fights. For the love of baby Jesus, won't someone think of the children?
. There is no doubt that the "violent images" in the Wizard of Oz would be taxed by a Marxist Biden. After all, behind Dorothy's sweet face are the evil deeds of a serial killer.

1984 Big Brother Newspeak
Some 40,000 words have been tediously scrubbed of gender bias by a bi-partisan Big Brother Government
Washington state’s governor signed into law on Monday the final piece of a bi-partisan six-year effort to rewrite state laws using gender-neutral vocabulary, replacing terms such as “fisherman” and “freshman” with “fisher” and “first-year student.”
Lawmakers have passed a series of bills since 2007 to root out gender bias from Washington statutes, though a 1983 state mandate required that all laws be written in gender-neutral terms unless a specification of gender was intended.
“This was a much larger effort than I had envisioned. Mankind means man and woman,” said Democratic state Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles of Seattle reports the Toronto Sun.
The new gender-neutral references, for example, include “journey-level plumber” instead of “journeyman plumber,” “handwriting” in place of “penmanship,” and “signal operator” for “signalman.”
“There’s no good reason for keeping our legal terms anachronistic and with words that do not respect our current contemporary times,” Kohl-Welles, the 475-page bill’s sponsor, told Reuters.
The so-called "Conservative" Republicans joined in helping the bill pass the Democrat-controlled state House 70-22 on April 9 and unanimously cleared the state Senate on Feb. 8 before being signed by Democratic Governor Jay Inslee.
The state likely won’t change the words “airmen” and “seaman,” for example,
because of objections by the state’s Washington Military Department.
Nearly 3,500 Washington state code sections, out of a total of about 40,000 have
been tediously scrubbed of gender bias, although most involve adding pronouns
“she” and “her” to augment the existing “he” and “his.”
George Orwell - A Final Warning
"Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten." George Orwell 1984
