YouTube Funds Far Left Young Turks

Google Bans Conservatives
But
Funds Leftist Filth

Google-owned video platform YouTube will provide funding to the Young Turks, one of the largest far-left channels on YouTube, to create an online “journalism” course called “TYT Academy,” reports Axios.

Axios reports that the investment is in the “mid-six figures” range.
“The investment is part of YouTube’s $25 million commitment to news efforts, which is part of the $300 million Google News Initiative that was announced in 2018.”
Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur, an American of Turkish descent, has repeatedly faced controversy over his past comments denying the Armenian genocide, the massacre and forced expulsion of approximately 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Turkish government between 1914 and 1923.
In a letter to the far-left online publication Salon in 1999, Uygur wrote:
The United States helped to sponsor war propaganda against Turkey during World War I as part of an official campaign to smear its enemies, as it did with Germany. Part of this propaganda was the evil butchery of the Turks against the defenseless Christian Armenians. This is what has been rooted in the popular memory of America, with very few Turkish-Americans to combat the insinuations of savagery, yet this is not propaganda?
As far as I could see from the article, every non-Armenian scholar in the field believes it is an open question whether this event was a genocide. Is it the claim of the article that all of these people are tainted by the tentacles of the Turkish government? If not, then why is it not pointed out that no one outside of the “Armenian position” believes it is a genocide? Why is it assumed that the “Turkish studies side” has the burden of proof in overturning the verdict of Turkish guilt? It is because of the underlying assumption that despite what these people in “Turkish studies” say, there must have been a genocide.
While in college, Uygur wrote a column for his student newspaper saying, “The claims of an Armenian Genocide are not based on historical facts…once you really examine the history of the time it becomes apparent that the allegations of an Armenian Genocide are unfounded.”
More recently, Young Turks host Hasan Piker, a nephew of Uygur, attracted widespread condemnation for arguing that the United States “deserved” the September 11th attacks.
“America deserved 9/11, dude. F-ck it I’m saying it,” said Piker in a live broadcast.
“americas foreign policy decisions has lead to 911. this would’ve been a controversial thing to say in 2001. stop being a fucking idiot,” Piker later tweeted.
Pike later appeared to walk back his comments, saying they were “inappropriate.”

Muslim Cleric: Armenian Genocide 'Is a Lie Fabricated by the British'

The Armenian Genocide

Denial is not just a river in Egypt

(CNSNews.com) -- Although historians have documented and numerous governments have recognized the genocide committed by the Ottoman Turks against the Christian Armenians, which killed an estimated 1.5 million people between 1915 and 1923, an Egyptian cleric recently declared on Turkish television that the Armenian genocide is "a lie," and that Muslims have never committed mass atrocities against any group.

Egyptian cleric Sheikh Sharif Abadi said in an interview on the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Watan TV channel that, “We [Muslims] have never perpetrated a racial massacre.  We have never laid siege on a certain group and kill, let's say, all the Jews.”
When the interviewer asked Abadi, “So why do people say that the Ottoman Caliphate perpetrated a massacre against the Armenians?” he said, “It is a lie. The Armenians are the ones who betrayed [the Ottomans].  There is a historical story behind it, but [the massacre] never happened.  It is a lie fabricated by the British in order to topple the Ottoman Caliphate.”

Abadi then asked, “Are you saying that we had refrained from perpetrating racial massacres for 14 centuries, just to carry one out in the final two years of the Caliphate?  Does this even make sense?  It's a lie.”
“There was no racial massacre of the Armenians,” he declared. “They are the ones who started it.  They are the ones who betrayed us.  They are the ones who killed Muslims and burned mosques.”

Sharif Abadi further claimed, “We have never perpetrated a racial massacre or killed women and children…. The third thing is that we have never forced anyone to convert to Islam.”

In its “Overview” article on the “Armenian Genocide of 1915,” the New York Times wrote,  “There were executions into mass graves, and death marches of men, women and children across the Syrian desert to concentration camps with many dying along the way of exhaustion, exposure and starvation.”
The New York Times went on to note that the massacre of the Armenians was well documented at the time, and that even though the Ottoman Empire’s “ally, Germany, was silent at the time, in later years documents have surfaced from ranking German diplomats and military officers expressing horror at what was going on.”
Henry Morgenthau Sr., a U.S. Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire from 1913 to 1916, wrote in his 1918 memoir Ambassador Morgenthau's Story, “When the Turkish authorities gave the orders for these deportations, they were merely giving the death warrant to a whole race; they understood this well, and, in their conversations with me, they made no particular attempt to conceal the fact…. I am confident that the whole history of the human race contains no such horrible episode as this.  The great massacres and persecutions of the past seem almost insignificant when compared to the sufferings of the Armenian race in 1915.”
President Theodore Roosevelt wrote in a letter to Cleveland Hoadley Dodge on May 11, 1918, that “the Armenian massacre was the greatest crime of the war, and the failure to act against Turkey is to condone it….”

"But let me tell you what we saw at Batak ... The number of children killed in these massacres is something enormous. They were often spitted on bayonets, and we have several stories from eye-witnesses who saw the little babes carried about the streets, both here and at Olluk-Kni, on the points of bayonets.
kk
The reason is simple. When a Mohammedan has killed a certain number of infidels he is sure of Paradise, no matter what his sins may be ... It was a heap of skulls, intermingled with bones from all parts of the human body, skeletons nearly entire and rotting, clothing, human hair and putrid flesh lying there in one foul heap, around which the grass was growing luxuriantly. It emitted a sickening odor, like that of a dead horse, and it was here that the dogs had been seeking a hasty repast when our untimely approach interrupted them ... The ground is covered here with skeletons, to which are clinging articles of clothing and bits of putrid flesh. The air was heavy, with a faint, sickening odor, that grows stronger as we advance. It is beginning to be horrible."

Turkey Punishes Armenian MP for Mentioning 1915 Armenian Genocide

NATO's Turkey Moves to
Islamic Dictatorship
Turkey still attacks people who dare to mention the Muslim genocide against Christians

(PJ Media)  -  Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and opposition deputies -- the Republican People’s Party (CHP), the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), and the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) -- have begun voting on the articles of a constitutional amendment package that would bring a dictatorial presidency.

Debates were repeatedly interrupted by brawls that erupted between the AKP and CHP deputies during the vote. The MPs even shoved one another and threw punches.

However, one common prejudice united the AKP, MHP, and CHP deputies: their hatred of Armenians.

On January 13, the lone Armenian member of Turkish Parliament, Garo Paylan of the HDP, briefly talked about the 1915 Armenian Genocide in his speech addressing the parliamentarians. Referring to the constitutional reforms enacted during the later stages of the Ottoman Empire, Paylan first called on Turkish deputies not to repeat the mistakes of the past and to promote pluralism, diversity, and inclusivity in the new constitution.

Garo Paylan MP

Paylan then said:
Between 1913 and 1923, Armenians, Greeks, Syriacs, and Jews had been lost. They were either exiled with genocides and major massacres or subjected to population exchanges.
As Paylan was delivering his speech, parliamentarians from the AKP and other parties interrupted him angrily. The deputy speaker of the parliament, Ahmet Aydin, also intervened, telling Paylan:
Please fix your statements. There is no genocide. There might have been some reciprocal sufferings but you cannot define it as genocide.
Paylan responded:
We used to account for 40 percent [of the country’s population]. Now we are barely one out of a 1,000. It seems likely that something happened to us. I define this as genocide no matter what you call it.
The Armenian people very well know what was done to them. I very well know what was done to my ancestors, my grandfather. To you, I am "a leftover of the sword." We Armenians are are null and void now. If we will learn lessons -- but not hostility -- from the past, let’s look at this together.
In Turkey, the survivors of Christian massacres are often called “the leftovers of the sword.” In the midst of angry and loud protests of Turkish deputies, Aydin rebuked Paylan:
[Paylan should] watch out for his behavior and attitude and stop uttering words that offend the Turkish nation.
The Turkish parliamentarians then voted to ban Paylan from participating in the Parliament for three sessions.

Following the announcement of the decision, HDP deputies left the parliament with him. The group deputy chairmen of the AKP, CHP, and MHP declared they condemned Paylan’s statements, calling them “unacceptable.” The part of the speech in which Paylan referred to the Armenian genocide was also removed from the parliamentary minutes.

McCain - Trump is turning Muslims against America

Retard Alert
  • Pardon me for believing Muslim hate pre-dates Donald Trump.
  • A retarded John McCain ignores 1,400 years of Muslim hate of non-Muslims and says Trump is turning Muslims against Christians.
  • McCain naturally ignored the Muslim genocide against Christians in the Sudan's Darfur region, the Muslim persecution against Egyptian Christians, the Muslim genocide against the Greek peoples of Anatolia, the Muslim genocide against the Christian Assyrians and the Armenian Genocide.

(The Hill)  -  Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Donald Trump’s divisive rhetoric is only serving to turn the international Muslim community against the U.S.
“Oh, I think it has an interesting effect of turning Muslims all over the world against the United States of America, which is 99.44 percent people who practice an honorable religion,” the Arizona senator said of Trump on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday.
McCain, a former GOP presidential nominee, also accused 2016 hopefuls of harping on the Syrian refugee crisis, while the U.S. faces much more substantial threats.
“As all of our candidates bloviate about the refugees, [Syrian President] Bashar Assad is a major cause of the refugees which are now flooding Europe and causing such consternation in the United States,” he said.

Corrupt Hastert Joined Lobby Firm Representing Islamist Turkey

The Armenian Genocide - A line of naked, crucified Armenian girls.

"Corruptus in Extremis"

  • A friend of mine posted this several year old press release below from the Armenian National Committee of America.
  • This press release illustrates what any thinking person already knows, that our whore politicians do not represent the American people.  They have sold their souls and allow themselves to be bought and paid for by special interest groups who work against the average American or the country itself.

(Armenian National Committee of America)  -  Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) became the latest House member to join the army of Washington, DC public relations firms working to cover up Turkey's crimes, reported the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA).

Dickstein Shapiro, LLP announced that the former Speaker joined their team in a press release last week. The firm, which represents a broad range of entities including General Motors, Kraft Foods and Pfizer, also represents the Government of Turkey "in connection with the development and financing by private sponsors of the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline and TransCaspian gas pipeline spanning from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean."

According to an ABC News story, "Ex-House Speaker Hastert Finds New Home" by Justin Rood, a Dickstein Shapiro representative "could not say whether or not Hastert would be working on projects involving that country." To read the complete ABC News story and to offer your comment on this coverage, see "Additional Resources" on this page.

No stranger to Turkish American issues, as Speaker, Hastert led efforts to block Armenian Genocide legislation from passage dating back to October of 2000, when he withdrew H.Res.596, introduced by Rep. George Radanovich (R-CA), from the Congressional docket just five minutes prior to its consideration. Speaker Hastert cited a letter from President Bill Clinton expressing concerns about the national security implications of the resolution.

In his subsequent terms as Speaker, Hastert blocked a series of Armenian Genocide resolutions from reaching the House floor, despite widespread Congressional support and grassroots calls for legislative action. In 2004, when the House adopted an amendment to the foreign aid bill blocking Turkey's use of U.S. funds for lobbying efforts to deny the Armenian Genocide, Hastert's response was swift, joining with Majority Leader Blunt and Majority Whip Tom DeLay in sharply criticizing the measure: "Turkey has been a reliable ally of the United States for decades, and the deep foundation upon which our mutual economic and security relationship rests should not be disrupted by this amendment."

In 2005, Armenian Americans joined with System of a Down band members Serj Tankian and John Dolmayan in a rally in front of the Speaker Hastert's Batavia, IL office urging him to allow passage of the Armenian Genocide Resolution. That effort was part of an eight-year ANCA national grassroots campaign urging then Speaker Hastert to allow Congress to have an up or down vote on the Armenian Genocide.

The Armenian Genocide

Vanity Fair Cites Hastert Ties with Turkish Government

An expose printed in the September 2005 issue of Vanity Fair revealed possible ties between Speaker Hastert and Turkish nationals geared to scuttle the Armenian Genocide Resolution. The magazine published a 10-page story on FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds, who was fired after "she accused a colleague of covering up illicit activity involving Turkish nationals."

According to the article by contributing editor David Rose, Edmonds claims FBI wiretaps revealed that the Turkish government and its allies boasted of bribing - with as much as $500,000 – the Speaker of the House of Representatives as part of an alleged deal to stop consideration of the Armenian Genocide Resolution.

The article cited accounts by Edmonds regarding FBI wiretaps of the Turkish Embassy and Turkish groups such as the American Turkish Council (ATC) and the Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA), including, "repeated references to Hastert's flip-flop in the fall of 2000, over an issue which remains of intense concern to the Turkish government, the continuing campaign to have Congress designate the killings of Armenians in Turkey between 1915 and 1923 a genocide."

Rose is careful to point out that "there is no evidence that any payment was ever made to Hastert or his campaign." According to the article, "Hastert's spokesman says the Congressman withdrew the genocide resolution only because of the approach from [President] Clinton, 'and to insinuate anything else just doesn't make any sense.' He adds that Hastert has no affiliation with the ATC or other groups reportedly mentioned in the wiretaps.'"

In 2007, the ANCA joined a broad cross-section of civil liberties, public policy and human rights groups in calling on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in Congress to hold public hearings on the case of FBI Whistleblower Sibel Edmonds. No hearings have been held to date.

Former House Members Line Up to Support Turkey

Ex-Speaker Hastert is the latest in a long line of former House Members who have joined firms on the Turkish government’s payroll. Former House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt (D-MO) and former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX) at DLA Piper led efforts to block full House consideration of the Armenian Genocide Resolution (H.Res.106 / S.res.106) for an annual fee of $1.2 million.

Former House Appropriations Committee Chairman Bob Livingston of the Livingston Firm LLC, has, over the years, received over $12 million from the Turkish Government. He was recently let go by Turkey, and took on an even more lucrative agreement working for Libya.

Turkey's efforts to buy influence in Washington DC and in U.S. academic circles was recently outlined in a powerful editorial and expose by David Holthouse in the Southern Policy Law Center (SPLC) Intelligence Report. The SPLC resources are featured in the "Additional Resources" link above.

Assyrian Militias Respond to Muslim Genocide of Christians

“This is our last stand, if this fails then Christianity will be finished in Iraq.

Assyrian Christian Militia

(Catholic Herald)  -  Christians in Iraq have formed a militia to take back their Nineveh Plains homeland from ISIS.
The organisation, the Nineveh Plains Protection Units, has more than 3,000 troops serving or awaiting training, and has the backing of the Iraqi Government and the Kurdish Peshmerga.
The force has 500 Assyrian Christian troops stationed in towns such as Alqosh in the Nineveh Plains to defend them from ISIS, with a further 500 being trained and another 3,000 men registered and awaiting training. Their aim is to take back the rest of the Nineveh Plains, a traditionally Christian part of Iraq, which was overrun by ISIS last summer. More than 100,000 Christians are currently displaced in the nearby Kurdish-controlled region of northern Iraq, along with a large number of Yazidis.
The Assyrian forces are allied to the Iraqi Army and Kurds but do not take orders from either, and their aim is to establish an administrate area for the Assyrians and Yazidis, as well as other minorities such as Shabaks and Mandeans.
The group are funded by members of the Assyrian diaspora, which is mainly concentrated in the United States, Australia and Sweden, and they are being trained by an American security company. However they are short of funds.
There are around 5,000 people of Assyrian descent in Britain, many of whom were given citizenship on account of their fathers and grandfathers’ service in the Assyrian Levies, who fought alongside the British in the First and Second World War.
British-Assyrians are currently awaiting a response from the Foreign Office on whether it is legal or not to financially support the group.
John Michael, a British-Assyrian, said: “This is our last stand, if this fails then Christianity will be finished in Iraq.

The Religion of Peace
Christian Greeks, Assyrians and Armenians have
been slaughtered by Islam for centuries.

The Christian Assyrians suffered a number of religiously and ethnically motivated massacres throughout the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries AD, culminating in the large scale Hamidian massacres of unarmed men, women and children by Muslim Turks and Kurds in the late 19th century, which further greatly reduced numbers, particularly in southeastern Turkey.

The Assyrians suffered a further catastrophic series of massacres known as the Assyrian Genocide, at the hands of the Ottomans and their Kurdish and Arab allies from 1915–1918.

The genocide (committed in conjunction with the Armenian Genocide and Greek Genocide) accounted for up to 300,000 unarmed Assyrian civilians, and the forced deportations of many more. The sizeable Assyrian presence in south eastern Asia Minor which had endured for over four millennia was reduced to a few thousand.

As a consequence, the surviving Assyrians took up arms, and an Assyrian war of independence was fought during World War I, For a time, the Assyrians fought successfully against overwhelming numbers, scoring a number of victories over the Ottomans and Kurds, and also hostile Arab and Iranian groups; then their Russian allies left the war following the Russian Revolution, and Armenian resistance broke.

The Assyrians were left cut off, surrounded, and without supplies, forcing those in Asia Minor and Northwest Iran to fight their way, with civilians in tow, to the safety of British lines and their fellow Assyrians in northern Iraq.

The 1918 Muslim Genocide Against Christians
These Assyrians were assembled into one caravansary, and shot to death by guns and revolvers. Blood literally flowed in little streams, and the entire open space within the caravansary became a pool of crimson liquid. The place was too small to hold all the living victims waiting for execution. They were brought in groups, and each new group was compelled to stand over the heap of the still bleeding bodies and shot to death. The fearful place became literally a human slaughter house, receiving its speechless victims, in groups of ten and twenty at a time, for execution.
.
The executioners began by cutting first the fingers of their victims, join by joint, till the two hands were entirely amputated. Then they were stretched on the ground, after the manner of the animals that are slain in the Fast, but these with their faces turned upward, and their heads resting upon the stones or blocks of wood Then their throats were half cut, so as to prolong their torture of dying, and while struggling in the agony of death, the victims were kicked and clubbed by heavy poles the murderers carried Many of them, while still laboring under the pain of death, were thrown into ditches and buried before their souls had expired.

The young men and the able-bodied men were separated from among the very young and the old. They were taken some distance from the city and used as targets by the shooters. They all fell, a few not mortally wounded. One of the leaders went to the heaps of the fallen and shouted aloud, swearing by the names of Islam's prophets that those who had not received mortal wounds should rise and depart, as they would not be harmed any more. A few, thus deceived, stood up, but only to fall this time killed by another volley from the guns of the murderers.

Some of the younger and good looking women, together with a few little girls of attractive appearance, pleaded to be killed. Against their will were forced into Islam's harems. Others were subjected to such fiendish insults that I cannot possibly describe. Death, however, came to their rescue and saved them from the vile passions of the demons. The death toll of Assyrians totaled 2,770 men, women and children.

Assyrian Christian Militia
Recent estimates from CAPNI, the largest Christian relief organization in northern Iraq, put the number of Christians as low as 300,000.  Over 1.5 million lived in the area before George Bush crushed the Baathist government that was protecting Christians from Muslim terrorism.

Muslim Turkey angered by Copenhagen sculpture commemorating the Armenian Genocide

The Armenian Genocide

Muslims Cover Up The Truth

  • Muslim Turkey is angry that anyone might point out the truth about their genocide against Christians.
  • It should be noted that in 629 AD the entire Middle East was either Christian, Jewish or Zoroastrian.  The Muslim genocide against people who dare to believe differently has been going on for 1,400 years.

(The Local)  -  Plans to install a sculpture commemorating the Armenian Genocide in one of Copenhagen's busiest squares have Muslim Turkish officials up in arms.

A sculpture that will be placed in the heart of Copenhagen in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide threatens to further derail the already-strained relations between Denmark and Turkey

The nine-metre high sculpture, entitled ‘The Draem’ (Danish Remembrance Armenian Empathy Messenger), is to be placed in the square Kultorvet for ten days in May to mark 100 years since upwards of 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Ottoman regime.

The plans have elicited a protest from the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen.

“We are disappointed that a sculpture that describes the actions of 1915 as a ‘genocide’ will be displayed in one of Copenhagen’s large squares,” the embassy wrote in an email to Politiken, adding that the sculpture is “morally indefensible”.

Turkey officially rejects the notion that the mass killings constitute a ‘genocide’. While the European Parliament, a UN sub-committee and more than 20 countries worldwide recognize the killings as a genocide, Denmark does not.

“The Danish government does not keep silent about the tragic events of 1915 but has not officially acknowledged the events as genocide. Our opinion is that that distinction is better left to historians,” Foreign Minister Martin Lidegaard told Politiken.

Lidegaard declined to comment specifically on the sculpture, but Copenhagen city officials did not.

The city’s deputy mayor for culture, the Danish People’s Party’s Carl Christian Ebbesen, said Turkey should stay out of local decisions.

“Turkey should completely stay out of what we do in Copenhagen and what sort of freedoms of expression and freedoms of art that we have,” Ebbesen told Politiken.

Relations between Denmark and Turkey are already strained over long-running disagreements about the handling of Kurdish television station Roj TV and for Turkey’s release of a man suspected of trying to assassinate noted Islam critic Lars Hedegaard.
